Rhea Ripley Almost In Tears After Fans Chant At WWE Clash In Italy

Rhea Ripley was left nearly in tears after Italian fans paid tribute to her late grandmother during her match against Jade Cargill at WWE Clash in Italy.

The crowd chanted “Nonna,” the Italian word for grandmother, during the match. Ripley also wore special ring gear to honor her grandmother, who passed away in April 2023.

Ripley posted on X in response to the tribute.

“I literally want to cry… Thank you Italy! ????” she wrote.

Ahead of her WWE Women’s Championship defense against Jade Cargill, ‘The Eradicator’ had also revealed how special the event was for her. She revealed that her grandparents lived in Italy before moving to Australia. Taking to X account, Ripley wrote:

“I’ve always wanted to go to Italy but never had the opportunity. This weekend I finally get to live that dream at #ClashInItaly! My Nonna was one of the most important and strongest people in my life. Going to the country where her and my Nonno grew up feels like I’m about to visit a home I’ve never had the pleasure to experience. I miss you every day! This one’s for you! I hope I make you proud when you look down on me,” Rhea Ripley posted.

Rhea Ripley defeated Jade Cargill at Clash in Italy on Sunday to retain the WWE Women’s Championship. Cargill and Ripley threw it all at each other in a hard-hitting match. During the match, the Aussie star initially seemed to have won before B-Fab interfered.

However, as Cargill hit her finisher, Charlotte Flair placed Ripley’s foot on the bottom rope. In the final moments, Ripley hit her second Riptide to earn her second win over Cargill.

  • Vince McMahon Believed To Have ‘Noose Around His Neck’ In WWE Shareholder Lawsuit Case

Vince McMahon Believed To Have ‘Noose Around His Neck’ In WWE Shareholder Lawsuit Case

AEW commentator Jim Ross has shared his thoughts on the WWE shareholder lawsuit and the recent evidence-destruction ruling.

Several top WWE executives, including Nick Khan and Paul Levesque, have been named as defendants or potential witnesses in the lawsuit, meaning the case could demand a significant amount of their time and attention during the legal process.

    The Allegations

The lawsuit centers on allegations that Vince McMahon structured the 2023 TKO merger in a way that protected his position within WWE following the public emergence of sexual misconduct allegations in 2022.

The plaintiffs argue that McMahon believed Endeavor was the only bidder that would allow him to remain involved with the company and claim other potential buyers were not given an equal opportunity to pursue a deal. The defendants have denied those allegations.

If the shareholders succeed, the financial damages could reach into the millions—or potentially hundreds of millions—of dollars. The case will be decided in the Delaware Court of Chancery by Vice Chancellor J. Travis Laster rather than a jury, and a final ruling is not expected immediately after the trial concludes.

    Jim Ross’ Thoughts

Vice Chancellor J. Travis Laster has found that McMahon and Nick Khan allegedly destroyed evidence by using Signal’s auto-delete feature. The court will treat five damaging facts as presumptively true at the trial that begins June 8. Jim Ross said:

“Well, as the old cliche goes, where there’s smoke, there’s fire, and there’s fire here. I think that’s a very unique case. It’s going to expose a lot of conversations and things of that nature, I think, but it’ll be very wordy, it will be very hostile, I think, because you’re talking about, if I’m thinking the right way, a ton of money, a ton of money.”

He then opened up on Vince McMahon’s specific legal exposure. JR said:

“I feel bad for, you know, I don’t know Nick, I’ve never met Nick Khan, I don’t know what kind of guy he is, he’s done well for them, but Vince, he’s got a noose around his neck, it would seem to be so, and it won’t be a case that’s over quickly, I don’t think, too much verbiage, too much what you mean by this, and whatever.”

Ross also reflected on the operational impact on WWE.

“It’s taking people that have major responsibilities in WWE away from their designated task, and right now it’s not the time to have your eye off the ball, and that’s what it looks like, it’s traveling in that way.”

The case is expected to draw significant attention as it could have major financial and operational implications for WWE and several of its top executives.

  • Charlotte Flair Believes Her Next Heel Run Will Be Bigger

Charlotte Flair Believes Her Next Heel Run Will Be Bigger

Former WWE Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair believes her eventual return to a heel role will be more effective.

‘The Queen’ has found some of the greatest success of her career as a villain, with many of her championship reigns and top storylines built around her arrogant, dominant heel persona.

However, her partnership with Alexa Bliss over the past year has helped transition Flair into a babyface role. The current run marks one of the longest sustained stretches as a fan favorite in Flair’s WWE career, a notable shift from the heel character work that defined much of her time on the main roster.

Speaking to Ring The Belle, Charlotte Flair said she believes her eventual return to a heel character will have a greater impact because fans are currently getting used to seeing her as a babyface.

    Massive Heel Turn Tease

She feels that even those who didn’t appreciate her previous villainous work may view it differently in the future, making a heel turn feel fresher and more meaningful when it happens.

“This is what I’ll say, when I do go back to being bad, I think it’ll just be appreciated more by the people that couldn’t understand or didn’t appreciate the being bad. You’ll have got your fix of this and then when I do go back bad and whatever that looks like, when, maybe it’ll just have a bigger impact.”

Flair was recently featured on the May 29th edition of WWE SmackDown in Barcelona, Spain, when Alex Bliss suffered a defeat against Jade Cargill.

  • Cody Rhodes Opens Up On Escaping Serious Injury At WrestleMania 42

Cody Rhodes Opens Up On Escaping Serious Injury At WrestleMania 42

Cody Rhodes has revealed why he refused to let a brutal WrestleMania 42 injury keep him off WWE television for long.

During an interview with WWE commentator Joe Tessitore, Cody Rhodes opened up on the gruesome injury he suffered at the hands of Randy Orton at WrestleMania 42. ‘The American Nightmare’ said the real statement came following the brutal match. He said:

“What I would say is everything you needed to know about me—everything you needed to know—happened after. I got up and I walked. I didn’t put on some silly Manila neck brace, I didn’t have myself boarded away.”

Rhodes reflected on his match with ‘The Viper’, saying he wanted fans to see that he was still champion and still standing despite the physical punishment he endured.

Rhodes called it one of Orton’s best performances and admitted he was fortunate to leave with both the championship and without suffering serious injuries such as a concussion or orbital fracture, while showing fans that the damage would heal.

“I got up, I walked out, and I tried to make eye contact with as many people as I could and let them know two things—still the champ, still here. And if that’s Randy Orton’s best shot—and Randy Orton was at his best ever—what does that say? That’s a night where I was lucky to leave with the championship that means the most to our game, but also leave without a concussion, leave without an orbital fracture. And I was able to show people, like you said—it’s going to heal.”

Cody Rhodes said being considered WWE’s “QB1” is about consistency rather than temporary popularity. He explained that while new stars often become the “flavor of the month,” the true top performers are the ones who deliver at a high level week after week, which is a quality he admires in the stars who came before him.

“It felt very important, because you say QB1—what is QB1? If anything, and maybe the biggest thing I’ve learned, it’s consistency. There’s always a flavor of the month, right? There’s always some hot new thing—and good for it. That’s exciting when the crowd gets behind something new. But all my favorites, all the QB1s before me, were consistent. Week in and week out.”

Cody is set to defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against Gunther at Clash in Italy PLE on May 31.

  • Top WWE Faction Expected To Add More Members Soon

Top WWE Faction Expected To Add More Members Soon

WWE is considering to add more members to Paul Heyman’s The Vision faction.

With Bronson Reed already on the shelf, the faction has dealt with another major injury blow as Logan Paul underwent surgery for torn triceps.

However, the World Tag Team titles remain in The Vision’s possession with Bron Breakker filling in as Austin Theory’s partner.

Now, Dave Meltzer has reported that WWE has discussed the idea of adding other members to the group, despite the recent tease of Maxxine Dupri joining the faction.

Meltzer wrote in the new edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter:

“On Raw, they said that Paul Heyman had put ‘The Vision’ and not individual members of the team in all contracts related to the title, so Theory & Bron Breakker (the only members of the team right now not injured, although I expect them to add members–besides Maxxine Dupri – and there has been talk of that even before this injury) are going to be the tag team champions for now.”

The Vision has been dealing with injuries since the inception. Initially, founding member Seth Rollins suffered shoulder injury last year and he was ultimately ousted from the group. Breakker then needed to undergo hernia surgery earlier this year before returning at WrestleMania 42.

  • Cody Rhodes Believes WWE Clash PLEs Have Replaced A Major ‘Big Four’ Event

Cody Rhodes Believes WWE Clash PLEs Have Replaced A Major ‘Big Four’ Event

The Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes believes the WWE Clash events have replaced Survivor Series in the WWEs’ “Big Four” events.

WWE Clash in Italy PLE takes place this Sunday, and ahead of the show, ‘The American Nightmare joined ESPN’s UnSportsmanLike podcast. He said that the Clash events are emerging as one of the WWE’s “Big Four” events.

Cody Rhodes assured that WrestleMania and SummerSlam will always take the first two spots. However, he believes the Clash PLEs have replaced Survivor Series in the third spot due to its international appeal.

“Well, your big four were traditionally SummerSlam, WrestleMania, Survivor Series, Royal Rumble. Now I think you’re looking at WrestleMania is always gonna be number one, SummerSlam, which is coming up in Minneapolis, two nights, amazing. I think I wouldn’t put Survivor Series there anymore. These are my personal picks,” Cody Rhodes said.

“I’d almost say maybe Money in the Bank, but I think Clash is becoming number three because of the international appeal of it and the fact that it was, you know, Clash in Cardiff, Clash, it’s moving all around. I like that. It gives every city an opportunity,” Cody Rhodes continued.

Rhodes said he currently views WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and the Clash events as WWE’s top three premium live events. After initially leaving out the Royal Rumble, Rhodes corrected himself and named his personal “Big Four” as WrestleMania, SummerSlam, Clash, and the Royal Rumble, while notably excluding Survivor Series and Money in the Bank from the list.

“I don’t want to use Money in the Bank. I’m going to give you my big three. My big three. WrestleMania, SummerSlam, Clash right now. That’s my big three. Yeah, now I’m screwed. It’s early, guys, hold up, hold up, watch this. Let me give you my big four. WrestleMania, SummerSlam, Clash, and then, obviously, the Royal Rumble. There it is. And I won the Royal Rumble twice. I should absolutely be saying the Royal Rumble,” Cody Rhodes said.

WWE originally ran Clash of Champions from 2016-17 and in 2019-20, the PLE was rebranded for its international tours. Till date, there have been a couple of Clash at the Castle events in Wales and Scotland in 2022 and 2024, and Clash in Paris in 2025.

WWE Clash in Italy will take place this Sunday in Turin, Italy where Rhodes faces Gunther for the Undisputed WWE Championship.

WWE Star Posted $1,000 Bail For Ludwig Kaiser

A fellow WWE star posted bail for Ludwig Kaiser after the latter was arrested for misdemeanor battery in Orange County, Florida.

The 35-year-old was arrested after allegedly attacking a man who confronted him for getting intimate with a woman at the scene.

Kaiser whose real name is Marcel Barthel was charged with battery. The accuser claimed that the former Imperium member assaulted him after complaining about him “aggressively kissing” his girlfriend by the elevator.

Kaiser was taken into custody on May 20 after he learned of the arrest warrant the day prior. At that time, Kaiser was booked and charged with one count of battery. He was quickly released on a $1,000 bond.

Gunther Posted Bail For Ludwig Kaiser

As per court records, Kaiser’s former Imperium teammate Gunther is listed as the person who posted his bail. Gunther posted two payments of $500, totaling $1000 to cover the bail amount.

Ludwige Kaiser is scheduled for a Mask vs. Mask match against Original El Grande Americano at a Lucha Libre AAA event called “Noches de Los Grandes” on May 31.

The ceremony takes place a day before he competes in a high-stakes Mask vs. Mask match at AAA’s Noches de Los Grandes event.

El Grande Americano headlines the opening night of AAA’s two-week Noches de Los Grandes event series on May 30 in Monterrey. His opponent in the Mask vs. Mask bout is Chad Gable, billed as the Original El Grande Americano.

The match adds another chapter to the ongoing rivalry between the two wrestlers. AAA has positioned the bout as a marquee attraction for the first night of the special event series.

    High-Stakes Stipulation

Under the Mask vs. Mask stipulation, one wrestler will be forced to unmask following the match. The loser must reveal their identity to the crowd, a career-defining moment in lucha libre tradition.

Kaiser has been working select dates for AAA while maintaining his WWE schedule. The Serenata ceremony represents a traditional lucha libre honor, typically reserved for major stars ahead of significant matches.

Cody Rhodes Provides Health Update Before WWE Clash In Italy

The Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes recently provided a health update and discussed his upcoming title defense against Gunther at WWE Clash in Italy.

During an appearance on ESPN’s Get Up, ‘The American Nightmare’ addressed questions about his physical condition, stating he is cleared to compete.

“Well, I’m here. I’m here, and I’m holding the WWE Championship; that’s the most important thing. And all that concussion protocol and this thing was completely swollen shut, staples to the back of the head, stitches to the front of the head, I still found a way to wrestle the following week, so (I’m) built a little different. Yeah, I’m feeling real braggadocios about it. Gave me his best shot, and I came and wrestled the next week.”

    Rhodes Dismisses Home Turf Advantage

When asked about facing Gunther in Europe, Rhodes dismissed any home-turf advantage concerns.

“I don’t think it’s his home turf, this is an Austrian, this is Clash in Italy, they are not the same places. Europe is not a monolith,” Rhodes explained.

    He continued:

“I actually think that he’s under the impression that this is gonna be an away game for me. I don’t think that. I think Italy will be a crowd like France was: loudest WWE crowd imaginable.”

The Cody Rhodes vs. GUNTHER match at WWE Clash in Italy will see Rhodes defend his WWE Undisputed Championship against the Austrian challenger.

Christopher Daniels Reveals Whether He Plans To Return To The Ring

AEW Head of Talent Relations Christopher Daniels recently opened up about his future in professional wrestling, stating he has no desire to return to in-ring competition.

The 56-year-old executive cited physical decline and concerns about his performance quality as the primary reasons for stepping away from active competition.

During a virtual signing with K & S WrestleFest, Daniels addressed questions regarding a potential return to the ring with candid honesty. He acknowledged the toll his decades-long career has taken on his body.

“I mean, I wish I could, but I have to be honest about physically how my body’s beat up, and I watched some of the last matches of my career,” Daniels said. “I did a lot of stuff in DEFY in Seattle, Washington, and I watched a lot of those matches and while the mental part of those matches is really, really good at least — I’m very proud of it — I have to be honest and say I wasn’t really in the best of shape, and I could tell that I was slowing down.”

“The way it ended for me is probably best that it ended, and yeah, I don’t really have a desire to get back into it just because I don’t wanna embarrass myself,” he added.

    Daniels’ Legendary Career

Daniels has wrestled professionally since the early 1990s, accumulating approximately 1,917 documented matches. His career includes championship reigns in ROH, TNA, and numerous independent promotions, making him one of the most decorated veterans in the industry.

He currently serves in AEW’s talent relations department. While Daniels has taken occasional matches since transitioning to his backstage position, he has significantly reduced his in-ring schedule in recent years.

Daniels’ last high-profile televised match in AEW was against Adam Page.

  • Cody Rhodes Addresses Constant Heel Turn Speculation

Cody Rhodes Addresses Constant Heel Turn Speculation

The Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes recently made it clear he will not turn heel simply because fans online keep demanding it.

‘The American Nightmare’ addressed the constant speculation during  What Do You Wanna Talk About? podcast and explained that while he remains open to the possibility, online pressure alone will not force a character change.

Rhodes said he is comfortable playing himself right now. He acknowledged that if the story eventually requires a heel turn, he would be willing to make that shift, but he is not going to manufacture one just to satisfy fantasy booking.

“I think that’s one of the things too where, like, people ask all the time, ‘When are you gonna turn heel?’ And it’s like, if that’s what the role requires at some point, sure. But right now, I get to just be me,” Rhodes said.

The American Nightmare explained that being himself does not always mean getting a positive reaction. He said some of his decisions may draw boos while others get cheered, but he will not suddenly change his character to meet online expectations.

“And sometimes being me means making a decision that maybe gets booed. Sometimes it means making a decision that gets cheered. But I’m not gonna suddenly start acting like something I’m not just because somebody online thinks that’s the move,” he stated.

    He added:

“I’ve really enjoyed just getting to be myself in this run. And if eventually the story goes a different direction, then okay, that’s part of wrestling. But for now, I’m good with where I’m at.”

Rhodes remains one of WWE’s top babyfaces, but his latest comments keep the heel turn conversation alive. While he is not turning heel right now, he is no longer treating the idea as completely off the table either.

Cody Rhodes is set to defend his Undisputed WWE title against Gunther at Clash in Italy this weekend.

  • Backstage News On Whether Ludwig Kaiser Has Heat Within WWE After Arrest

Backstage News On Whether Ludwig Kaiser Has Heat Within WWE After Arrest

WWE star Ludwig Kaiser has no heat within WWE following his recent arrest for misdemeanor battery in Orange County, Florida, according to a new report. Sources within the company believe the charges against the WWE superstar will eventually be dismissed.

The 35-year-old was arrested after allegedly attacking a man who confronted him for getting intimate with a woman at the scene.

Fightful Select reported that Kaiser, whose real name is Marcel Barthel, is not facing any internal consequences over the incident in Orlando.

The arrest led to speculation about Kaiser’s ongoing push as El Grande Americano in AAA, where he is scheduled to face OG El Grande Americano in a mask vs. mask match at Noche de Los Grandes.

A judge has cleared Kaiser to travel during his legal case, meaning the match should proceed as planned.

    WWE Planted ICE Defense Story

As per Fightful Select, the story about Kaiser defending himself and Andrea Bazarte from ICE comments was planted by WWE. An unfamiliar number reached out to several wrestling media outlets with the narrative, rather than Kaiser, Bazarte, or WWE’s official team making the statement directly.

Some WWE talent reportedly found the defense narrative unbelievable and felt Kaiser should have simply removed himself from the situation rather than engaging physically. Despite these internal opinions, the company has not taken any disciplinary action against the superstar.

Kaiser continues his regular schedule with WWE while the legal case proceeds. The misdemeanor battery charge stems from the April incident, with Kaiser expected to address the matter through the legal system in the coming months.

Adam Copeland & Christian Cage Reviving Iconic Segment After AEW Double Or Nothing Win

Adam Copeland and Christian Cage are set to bring back one of their most iconic segments from the past. The newly crowned AEW World Tag Team Champions will revive their signature Five-Second Pose.

Copeland and Cage captured the AEW World Tag Team Championships at AEW Double or Nothing 2026, defeating FTR. The victory marked their first tag team championship together in more than 25 years, dating back to their WWF World Tag Team Championship win in 2000.

AEW President Tony Khan announced on X, the iconic duo would be celebrating their win by performing a 5-second pose for the fans. Khan’s announcement read:

“#AEWDynamite/#AEWCollision 8/7c, TBS & HBO Max Wednesday, 5/27 TOMORROW! For the benefit of those with flash photography, @RatedRCope & @Christian4Peeps will celebrate their unforgettable #AEWDoN AEW World Tag Team Championship win with a Wednesday Night 5 Second Pose, TOMORROW!”

    History Of The Five-Second Pose

The Five-Second Pose originated in 2000 after the duo turned heel following their WWF World Tag Team Championship victory. The pair, who previously entered through the crowd, explained they had become too good to be that close to the fans.

They introduced the concept by posing with their titles for five seconds, allowing fans to take photos of the new champions. The segment evolved into comedic poses that often mocked the city where they were performing.

The revival of this classic bit brings back a piece of wrestling history that defined their original tag team run over two decades ago.

Natalya on WWE Legacy: ‘Comfort Kills People’

Former Women’s Champion Natalya recently said that she refuses to get comfortable despite nearly two decades with the company.

WWE’s longest-tenured female wrestler opened up about her mindset on a recent edition of the “Battleground” podcast. When asked what she wants to be remembered for in wrestling, Natalya said:

“That I never stopped trying, that I never got comfortable, that I never was complacent, that I never rested on, you know, six Guinness World Records, or I won a championship, or I did this big match, or I had great matches. Like, I never ever, ever got comfortable.”

Natalya signed with WWE in 2007 and debuted on the main roster on April 11, 2008 on SmackDown.

    Still Fighting After 18 Years

The daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart emphasized that complacency is dangerous in today’s competitive wrestling landscape.

“I think that is so important because the industry is more competitive now than it’s ever been. And I think comfort kills people. That’s why, you know, 18, 19 years into my career, I’m still fighting for my spot. I’m still fighting to prove that I’ve grown and that I’ve reinvented and rebuilt. To me, you can never stop that. You can’t just rest on who you were,” she stated.

Natalya’s championship resume includes the WWE Divas Championship, which she won at Survivor Series 2010, and the SmackDown Women’s Championship, captured at SummerSlam 2017. She also held the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles with Tamina in 2021.

The Hart family member has competed at multiple WrestleMania events and made history as part of the first women’s wrestling match in Saudi Arabia. She has also appeared on multiple seasons of the reality show Total Divas and authored her memoir “The Last Hart Beating.”

  • Triple H Defended After Being Called Coward and Liar

Triple H Defended After Being Called Coward and Liar

Former WWE writer Vince Russo recently defended Triple H after AEW star MVP publicly criticized WWE management over communication and respect issues.

The former WWE writer, typically a vocal critic of Triple H, blamed WWE’s corporate structure rather than the Chief Content Officer’s leadership abilities.

MVP aired grievances on Triple H, stating he felt disrespected by WWE management and suggesting a lack of direct communication as a major issue. MVP mentioned Triple H by name.

Russo took the opportunity to defend Triple H, highlighting the pressures that come with leading WWE’s creative operations under TKO Group Holdings.

“Listen, it’s a tough spot to be in, especially when you’re booking a program that involves so many talents,” Russo explained.

“But when you’re wearing 27 hats, you can’t do that. It’s that simple. If there was one person who was head of creative and that’s all they did and people could approach them about creative, you wouldn’t have that issue.”

“When you’re wearing seven hats, it’s impossible to talk to everybody. And again, that’s a structural problem in WWE,” Russo added.

    Coachman Agrees on Executive Challenges

Jonathan Coachman agreed that Triple H faces significant challenges juggling multiple executive responsibilities within WWE’s corporate framework. The podcast host offered his own perspective on how Triple H manages interactions with talent.

“They need a complete overhaul, because what Vince is talking about is Triple H is a genius at doing this. He’ll walk up to you like, ‘Hey, Coach, what’s going on? You good? Good. Good. Good to see you.’ And I call it doing the Jesse Jackson. I met Jesse Jackson, and he could meet you while his head was already turned as he was shaking your hand. So you never had the chance to actually start a conversation,” Coachman said.

Triple H has been serving as WWE’s Chief Content Officer, overseeing creative across all WWE programming.

AEW Fan Claims Production Took Disabled Seating At Double Or Nothing

A wheelchair user claims AEW production staff took over their paid accessible seating at Double or Nothing 2026.

The fan, known as Mantis the Dad on social media, says production equipment was set up in the handicapped section, forcing them to stand for the show despite mobility challenges.

The fan shared their experience on social media following the May 25 event. According to their account, they purchased two ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) seats but found production crew had occupied the space with equipment.

“Robbed. I paid for seats and the Production crew set up their equipment and we had to stand all night,” the fan wrote. “End up leaving half way through the show. It was in the handicapped section too. When I asked the worker they said ‘we’re not moving.’”

Fan Left Event Early Due To Accessibility Issue

The situation resulted in the fan leaving Double or Nothing halfway through the card. The ADA prohibits discrimination based on both visible and non-visible disabilities and requires venues to provide accessible seating for patrons who need it.

The incident was one of multiple fan complaints from the event. Other attendees reported being stranded after the show when exits outside the arena were shut down and no trains were available for transportation.

  • Nikki Bella Recovery Update After Ankle Injury

Nikki Bella Recovery Update After Ankle Injury

WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella recently provided an encouraging update on her recovery from the ankle injury that forced her out of WrestleMania 42. The former WWE Divas Champion revealed she has reached a new milestone in her rehabilitation process.

Speaking to USA Today Sports, Bella revealed that she was able to squat for the first time since the injury occurred. She acknowledged the movement was not at full strength yet, comparing herself to a baby deer during the exercise.

“The ankle’s doing great. I was really fired up because this morning I got to squat for the first time—not too heavy. Looked a little bit like a baby deer,” Bella said.

Bella explained that her physical therapy has shifted focus from healing to strengthening. The rehabilitation now targets the ankle and surrounding mechanics, including the toes, feet, hips, and knees.

“But last week I got to move up a level in my PT, where I could start focusing on strengthening. So working with my trainer and my PT, a lot of our focus is on strengthening, as well as building the ankle and all the little mechanics that come with the toes, the feet, the hips, the knees—everything,” she stated.

    Mid-June Medical Evaluation

The next major checkpoint in Bella’s recovery will come in mid-June when she undergoes X-rays to assess bone healing. She said doctors have not provided a firm return timeline until they see those results.

“I’ll get X-rayed in the middle of June and see how the bones have grown. So fingers crossed I’ll get amazing news, and then I’ve just got to match that with strength, and then I’ll be back,” Bella said.

She admitted to pressing doctors for a comeback date, but they have refused to commit to a timeline before the June evaluation. Bella said she would love to return by the end of June, but emphasized she will not rush back and risk reinjury.

“So in my head, the end of June would be incredible. But I also don’t want to come back too early, because a big reason people get reinjured is that their strength doesn’t match their recovery. So I need to make sure the calf, the quads, the glutes—all of it—is built up properly so it protects that ankle,” she explained.

    WrestleMania 42 Absence

Bella was originally scheduled to team with Brie Bella for the Women’s Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 42 before the injury occurred. Paige replaced her in the match, leaving Bella to watch from the sidelines.

Bella has also stated she wants to return as a heel for her final run, focusing on character work rather than performing as a babyface.

Tiffany Stratton Reveals Backstage Wardrobe Malfunction

WWE Women’s United States Champion Tiffany Stratton revealed that she suffered a wardrobe malfunction in Gorilla Position just moments before making her entrance for a recent match.

During her Twitch stream, Stratton explained that her gear broke during a commercial break while she was warming up. The timing left almost no room to fix the issue before she was scheduled to walk through the curtain.

“In gorilla, like two minutes before I go in and wrestle, it was a commercial break and I was warming up—and my strap broke off my gear literally a minute and a half before I was supposed to go out,” Stratton said.

The situation escalated quickly. Stratton said she nearly had to wrestle in her merch shirt instead of her ring gear. The outfit in question was her butterfly top with white, blue, and pink accents.

“So I screamed, ‘My strap just broke!’ And I almost had to wrestle in my merch shirt. We ended up tying it up—it was the butterfly top, white gear with the blue and the pink,” she explained.

    Backstage Panic Before Entrance

Stratton described the moment as one of the worst she has experienced before performing. She said everyone in Gorilla Position was scrambling to help her fix the gear in time.

“So yeah, that was really scary. Everyone was panicking in gorilla—it was probably the worst day of my life,” Stratton said.

The crew managed to tie the gear together quickly enough for Stratton to make her entrance without changing outfits. She did not specify which match the incident occurred before.

  • Ludwig Kaiser Accuser Gets Slammed: ‘Was Anybody Naked?’

Ludwig Kaiser Accuser Gets Slammed: ‘Was Anybody Naked?’

Jim Cornette recently weighed in on the Ludwig Kaiser arrest story, defending the WWE star and roasting his accuser in typical Cornette fashion.

The veteran wrestling personality addressed the situation during a recent episode of the Jim Cornette Experience podcast.

Kaiser, who has no prior criminal record, was allegedly involved in an incident at his apartment building. According to reports, the situation stemmed from an elevator encounter that escalated into a physical confrontation.

    Cornette Questions The Accuser’s Motives

Cornette didn’t hold back in his assessment of the situation.

“There’s more to this story because I’ve seen guys through the years make issues in f****** hotels. And then also, I’ve seen people make issues with guys at hotels where there weren’t any or shouldn’t have been any,” he said on his podcast.

The WWE veteran then highlighted Kaiser’s clean record and current career trajectory.

“This is a guy who is in his mid-30s, and apparently, now we know for sure, because they’ve run him. He has no criminal record anywhere. And like you said, in the best run of his life, and is not going out and looking for trouble, and nobody’s ever had anything to say that he’s a problem of any kind.”

Cornette specifically addressed the nature of the elevator incident.

“The f****** guy in the elevator. Whether he was bothered by them kissing, It wasn’t a blowj**. Was anybody naked? What is his problem anyway? But I guarantee you that the verbiage, and this will come out probably, hopefully, when they adjudicate this thing. If they don’t just outright dismiss it, I guarantee you the verbiage was not ‘please.’”

    Defense Of Kaiser’s Actions

Cornette suggested the accuser provoked the situation.

“That’s probably not the first word. And it certainly wasn’t all the words, because this is a guy that probably f****** bowed up and f****** said some s*** he shouldn’t have said. To start something with Kaiser for Kaiser to leave what he was doing, which was obviously more fun.”

He also noted the location and timing of the incident.

“It’s 6:30 in the evening, and it is his own elevator in his own apartment building. Not like in the godd*** elevator of the airport in Philly at f****** 2 a.m.”

Cornette concluded by questioning the severity of the alleged assault.

“So suddenly, for no reason, this guy flips out and starts punching people? No, I think Reaper had a f****** mouth on him, and he ran it in some fashion. And again, if Kaiser was going to hurt him seriously, I haven’t seen a picture of this guy, but I would have a hard time believing that if Kaiser wanted to hurt him, the only thing he’d have is a scratch on his neck.”

Kaiser is scheduled for a Mask vs. Mask match against Original El Grande Americano at a Lucha Libre AAA event called “Noches de Los Grandes” on May 31.

  • AEW Star Calls Triple H Coward and Liar

AEW Star Calls Triple H Coward and Liar

AEW star MVP has unleashed a scathing verbal attack on Triple H during a recent podcast interview, delivering some of the harshest criticism heard from a former WWE performer in recent memory. The former United States Champion did not hold back when discussing his views on WWE’s Chief Content Officer.

Speaking on “Marking Out with MVP and Dwayne Swayze” podcast, MVP made his feelings crystal clear about the WWE executive.

MVP said he decided he no longer wanted to stay in WWE after seeing Shelton Benjamin released without being offered a backstage role despite his long career and talent.

The former WWE star praised Benjamin as an underappreciated all-time great and explained that the breakup of the Hurt Business, combined with Benjamin’s release, heavily influenced his decision about his own future in WWE.

    He said:

“And if Triple H is in charge, then I definitely want to be here. Because I don’t like Triple H. I don’t respect Triple H. I think he’s a coward and a liar. And there have been many situations where he was dealing with Bobby, where he didn’t tell Bobby the truth creatively what he wanted to do. There are multiple times that I tried to talk to him.

And he would always, I’ll get with you in a little bit or the few times that I got a chance to get him in his office alone, he would call somebody to come in. He didn’t want to deal with me. I don’t respect that. Tell me. I’m a professional. Tell me how you feel. We’re doing business. Based on it, you ain’t got to like me. There’s lots of people throughout my career that I’ve worked with that I don’t like. We’re making money. We’re doing business.”

The comments represent a dramatic escalation in public criticism from MVP, who previously worked under Triple H’s leadership structure during his most recent WWE run.

MVP is best known for his championship runs in WWE, including his United States Championship reign and his role as the leader and manager of The Hurt Business stable alongside Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, and Cedric Alexander from 2020 to 2021.

    The Hurt Business Legacy

The Hurt Business was one of WWE’s most prominent factions during its run on Raw, with MVP serving as the group’s mouthpiece and strategist. The stable currently goes by the name The Hurt Syndicate in AEW and has been a dominant force in the promotion.

Most recently, at AEW Double or Nothing, Lashley and Benjamin teamed up with Chris Jericho and The Elite to win a chaotic Stadium Stampede match.

MJF Wife Reacts to His AEW Double or Nothing Win Against Darby Allin

Alicia Atout, wife of AEW World Champion MJF recently reacted to his win at Double or Nothing.

Atout took to social media to celebrate MJF’s victory at AEW Double or Nothing, where he defeated Darby Allin in a Title vs. Hair match. The win saw MJF capture the AEW World Championship while keeping his hair intact.

Atout posted on X, the morning after the pay-per-view, clearly relieved her husband avoided the barber’s chair. Her reaction highlighted both the title win and the successful defense of MJF’s signature look.

MJF Becomes Three-Time AEW World Champion

MJF defeated Darby Allin in the main event of Double or Nothing in Queens, New York, becoming AEW World Champion for the third time in his career. The Title vs. Hair stipulation meant the loser would have their head shaved, adding extra stakes to an already intense rivalry.

The match featured brutal spots, including Allin hitting a Coffin Drop off scaffolding through a table that left the back of his head busted open. MJF ultimately secured the victory with a top-rope tombstone piledriver, ending Allin’s challenge and keeping his hair.

Immediately after the match, MJF posted his own reaction on Twitter, mocking anyone who thought he would actually lose his hair. He celebrated becoming a three-time world champion at 30 years old and dismissed critics with characteristic brashness.

The victory marks another chapter in MJF’s decorated AEW career and continues his rivalry with Darby Allin. For Atout, the result meant celebrating both a championship win and no trip to the barber.

AEW Star Injury Update After Scary Fall At Double or Nothing

AEW President Tony Khan recently provided an update on QT Marshall following a horrific incident at AEW Double or Nothing pay-per-view.

Marshall suffered a fall during the pre-show and had to be assisted backstage, but Khan confirmed the wrestler is expected to recover.

The incident occurred during the Double or Nothing pre-show when Marshall teamed with Big Boom AJ and The Conglomeration against Shane Taylor Promotions. Marshall slipped off the top rope during a tower of doom spot and landed awkwardly outside the ring.

In the post-show media scrum, Khan addressed Marshall’s condition and discussed Mick Foley’s addition to the AEW roster.

“It was great to have Mick Foley come into AEW and be a part of the show now hosting with Renee, somebody who’s a true icon of wrestling and certainly in Philadelphia, one of the great icons of wrestling. Thank you for asking. QT’s gonna be okay. Thanks for asking,” Khan stated.

    Mick Foley Joins AEW

Khan also elaborated on Foley’s presence and his plans to pair the WWE Hall of Famer with Renee Paquette for hosting duties.

“Well, let me tell you, Renee, something I take pride in is pairing up great pairs, whether it’s Sting and Darby (Allin) or so many other great ones along the way. And I think a great team is going to be you and Mick,” Khan said.

Foley officially signed with AEW shortly before the pay-per-view. He confronted MJF and Darby Allin at the beginning of the event, hyping Allin ahead of his AEW World Championship match.

Khan praised the collaboration between Foley and Paquette, expressing excitement about their long-term contributions to the company.

“I’m really excited about it. You got off to a great start hosting the show tonight with Mick and I’m excited that you’re both going to be here doing it for a long time to come,” he added.

  • Former WWE Star Responds To Infamous AEW ‘Brawl Out’ Leak Allegations

Former WWE Star Responds To Infamous AEW ‘Brawl Out’ Leak Allegations

Former WWE star Matt Hardy recently denied accusations that he leaked backstage information about AEW’s infamous Brawl Out incident involving CM Punk and The Elite.

The veteran wrestler addressed the claims during an appearance on The Mack Down Report.

The backstage altercation following AEW All Out 2022 became one of the company’s most controversial moments. Hardy made it clear he had nothing to do with leaking information about what happened behind the scenes.

Hardy explained the accusation never made sense as he has always believed in protecting the wrestling business.

“I think this is a misconception that people online seem to have, especially from that time when AEW and the CM Punk situation and the whole ‘Brawl Out’ deal happened with him and The Young Bucks,” Hardy said. “I’ve always been great buddies with the Bucks, and I’ve always liked them a lot. But when all that happened, people were like, ‘Well, Matt Hardy’s the one leaking all this. He’s leaking it to the dirt sheets.’”

    Hardy continued:

“And it’s funny, because I’m actually an advocate for not doing that. I’m an advocate for protecting everything in the business. I’ll give my opinions when there’s something I can talk about, but when people leak stuff to the dirt sheets that hurts or damages the product, I don’t believe in that at all.”

    Old School Mentality

Hardy explained his mindset comes from an old-school view of the wrestling industry. He understands online coverage and backstage news are now a major part of modern wrestling but he does not support leaking damaging information.

“I think we have to protect our industry. That’s kind of the old-school side of me,” Hardy stated. “I understand that all this stuff is relevant now, the internet, coverage, everything, it’s a constantly evolving world. But as far as me trying to bury someone or leak something, I don’t do that. I’m not that guy. But that’s what a lot of the sickos said, because they weren’t fans of me.”

The Brawl Out incident remains one of AEW’s most controversial incidents and it impacted CM Punk, The Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, and the company’s public image. Hardy’s comments show he wants no part of being tied to the leaks and gossip that surrounded the situation.
