  • Tiffany Stratton Addresses WWE WrestleMania 43 Taking Place In Saudi Arabia

WWE Women\’s Champion Tiffany Stratton has shared her excitement about the recent announcement that WrestleMania 43 will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in 2027. Speaking with Scott Johnson for Going Ringside, Stratton discussed being part of the continued evolution of women\’s wrestling in the region.

    The decision to take WWE\’s flagship event outside of North America for the first time has been met with a mixed reaction from fans, with many citing the country\’s human rights record as a reason for their disapproval. Recalling a previous WWE trip to the country, Stratton said;

\”I\’m excited. The last time we were there I believe, we went on this little safari adventure, and I hope we get to do that again because that was super fun.\”

Proud to be part of history

She then echoed a sentiment shared by many of her fellow female performers who have competed in Saudi Arabia, highlighting the significance of their presence in the country.

\”I think Bianca mentioned women are making history over there, and I can\’t wait to be a part of that myself. So I\’m super excited and I can\’t wait.\”

WWE\’s partnership with Saudi Arabia began in 2018 as part of the \”Saudi Vision 2030\” social and economic reform program. The long-term, lucrative deal has seen the company produce two large-scale premium live events in the kingdom almost every year.

The first-ever women\’s match in Saudi Arabia took place at the Crown Jewel event in 2019, a bout between Natalya and Lacey Evans. Both women wore full-body suits to comply with the country\’s conservative dress policy. Since that match, women\’s wrestling has become a regular and featured part of every subsequent WWE event in Saudi Arabia, with multiple women\’s championship matches taking place on those shows.

  • Brock Lesnar Advertised For WWE WrestleMania 42

Brock Lesnar is already being advertised for WWE\’s biggest event of the year in 2026. In a new promotional graphic released on Tuesday to promote the ticket pre-sale for WrestleMania 42, Lesnar is featured prominently alongside other top company stars, including Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley, and CM Punk.

His inclusion in the marketing for the event, which is still seven months away, is a strong indication that he is a key part of WWE\’s long-term plans following his recent return to the company. Lesnar had been absent from the previous two WrestleMania events.

Lesnar\’s last appearance at the annual spectacular was at WrestleMania 39 in 2023, where he defeated Omos. He was off of WWE programming for two full years after his name was mentioned in the Janel Grant lawsuit that was filed against Vince McMahon and WWE in early 2024.

Lesnar made his shocking return to the company at SummerSlam this past August under a new contract for limited dates. He competed in his first match back this past Saturday at the inaugural WrestlePalooza Premium Live Event, where he scored a decisive victory over John Cena. WrestleMania 42 is scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 18, and Sunday, April 19, 2026, from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.

  • John Cena vs. AJ Styles Made Official For WWE Crown Jewel

Fans will get to see one of the best rivalries of the modern era one last time, as a match between John Cena and AJ Styles has been made official for the WWE Crown Jewel on Saturday, October 11. The match, which will be Cena\’s final time competing in Australia as part of his 2025 retirement tour, was built entirely on social media over the past several days.

Cena began lobbying for the match, leading to an acceptance from Styles, and was made official on Tuesday by WWE Chief Creative Officer Paul \”Triple H\” Levesque. The announcement confirms a big addition to the card for the upcoming international event. The match was confirmed in a post on Levesque\’s social media account after the two superstars agreed to the bout.

“@JohnCena vs. @AJStylesOrg is a match we all want to see. And at #WWECrownJewel…we will.” Editor\’s Note: The graphic in the post confirmed the event is Super Show-Down: Perth.

The rivalry between John Cena and AJ Styles is one of the most celebrated of the last decade, producing several classic encounters, most notably their matches at SummerSlam in 2016 and the Royal Rumble in 2017. This will be their first major one-on-one match since 2018. Cena is coming off a loss to the returning Brock Lesnar at the WrestlePalooza event this past Saturday and will be looking to regain momentum on his farewell tour. The event has a special start time of 8:00 AM Eastern and will stream live on ESPN platforms in the US and on Netflix internationally. The updated card for WWE Super Show-Down: Perth is below:

    • Champion vs. Champion Match: WWE Champion Cody Rhodes vs. World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins
    • Champion vs. Champion Match: WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton vs. Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer
    • John Cena vs. AJ Styles
  • Cody Rhodes Tops The PWI 500 For Second Consecutive Year

For the second straight year, \”The American Nightmare\” Cody Rhodes has been ranked number one on the prestigious Pro Wrestling Illustrated 500 list. The official announcement from the magazine confirms that the reigning Undisputed WWE Champion has once again been selected as the top male professional wrestler in the world.

The achievement places Rhodes in truly elite company, as he becomes only the fourth wrestler in the history of the PWI 500 to top the list in back-to-back years, joining a group that includes Bret \”The Hitman\” Hart, \”Stone Cold\” Steve Austin, and John Cena. The evaluation period for this year\’s list ran from August 1, 2024, through July 31, 2025. During that time, Rhodes had one of the most dominant years of any superstar, holding the Undisputed WWE Championship for the entire period.

His reign included numerous championship defenses, a main event victory at WrestleMania 41, and wins over top competitors such as Kevin Owens, GUNTHER, and Solo Sikoa. The PWI 500 criteria for ranking includes a wrestler\’s win-loss record, influence on the sport, and success against the highest level of competition, all areas where Rhodes excelled during the evaluation period.

The rest of the top ten was a mix of stars from WWE, AEW, and CMLL. The top ten for the 2025 PWI 500 is below:

      1. Cody Rhodes
      1. Jon Moxley
      1. GUNTHER

      1. Hirooki Goto
      1. Jey Uso
      1. Swerve Strickland
      1. Seth Rollins
      1. Místico
      1. Will Ospreay
  • MVP Says Adding A Woman To The Hurt Syndicate Has Been Discussed In The Past

AEW star and leader of The Hurt Business, MVP, has responded to a recent report from Fightful Select, which stated that there have been discussions within the company about adding a new, younger member to the faction. The report sparked speculation among fans about who could potentially join the dominant trio of MVP, Bobby Lashley, and Shelton Benjamin.

The group has been a major force in All Elite Wrestling, and the idea of them adding a new member to their ranks is an intriguing prospect for future storylines. Speaking on the \”TMZ’s Inside The Ring\” podcast, MVP addressed the report, confirming that the group has always been open to the idea of expansion, though he downplayed the notion that any definitive discussions have happened recently.

“Of course it’s possible. It’s always possible. We have said for a long time that’d we’d be interested in adding a fourth member, a younger member, kinda like how Cedric was. I don’t know currently what his status currently is.”

He then revealed that their discussions in the past have not been limited to just adding another male superstar.

“I know somebody reported recently that ‘there are talks about adding a fourth member to the Hurt Syndicate.’ News to me. I guess what is misleading about that ‘news’ is that we’re always interested in potentially adding a new member. In the past, we’ve had talks about adding a woman to the group. With professional wrestling, like everything in life, it comes down to timing. It’s all timing. Is it the right person at the right time to what the bigger picture is? There hasn’t been any definitive discussion recently where, ‘Okay, let’s call a meeting.’ It’s always a conversation that we’re open to. There are some people that we like, like yeah man, he or she would be pretty cool. It all comes down to timing and that’s life as well as the nature of the business.”

The Hurt Syndicate lost a trios match at the AEW All Out pay-per-view against the team of Ricochet and The Gates of Agony.

  • Backstage Update On Jey Uso\’s Health Status

An update has been provided on the status of Jey Uso following the steel chair shot he took to the face at the WWE WrestlePalooza Premium Live Event this past Saturday. During the tag team match that saw The Usos face The Vision\’s Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, Jey was struck with the chair, leaving him busted open.

Due to the nature of the blow to the head, he was immediately placed in WWE\’s concussion protocol as a precautionary measure. The protocol is a standard procedure for any performer who appears to have suffered a potential head injury, even if a concussion has not been officially diagnosed.

On today\’s episode of Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez provided the latest on Jey\’s condition, suggesting that he has avoided a serious injury. “As of this morning, WWE claims that he’s fine, which sounds to me like he’s been cleared.”

The positive report from Alvarez aligns with an update from Jey Uso himself. Following the event on Saturday night, he took to his social media accounts to give a simple message to his fans, letting them know that he is \”good.\”

  • Ticket Prices Revealed For WWE WrestleMania 42

A new report from PWInsider has revealed the ticket prices for next year\’s two-night WWE WrestleMania 42 Premium Live Event, and fans planning to attend the show in Las Vegas can expect to pay premium prices. The pricing structure reflects the new strategy under TKO Group Holdings, which aims to maximize revenue for the company\’s biggest events. The high cost positions WrestleMania as a premier destination event, with prices that are comparable to other major sporting event like the Super Bowl.

The report details the cost for a two-day ticket across various sections of Allegiant Stadium, where the event will be held for the second consecutive year. According to the report, the highest-priced two-day ticket on the floor will cost nearly $9,000 before any additional handling fees, while the lowest-priced tickets in the upper sections will start at over $850.

This pricing continues the trend of increased ticket costs for major WWE events that was recently discussed by TKO COO Mark Shapiro, who stated the company would be replicating the successful \”ticket yield\” strategy of the UFC.The reported two-day ticket prices are as follows:

    • Section A1 on floor – $8,998.00
    • Section B on floor – $3,868.00

WrestleMania 42 is scheduled for Saturday, April 18, and Sunday, April 19, 2026, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Tickets for the event will go on sale to the general public this Wednesday, September 24.

  • The Young Bucks Acknowledge The End Of The Elite Faction

On the latest episode of their \”Being The Elite\” YouTube series, The Young Bucks (Matthew & Nicholas Jackson) seemingly confirmed the end of The Elite as a faction, acknowledging that after a year of challenges, the group is now down to just the two of them.

Matt Jackson: “Who’s even in The Elite anymore? Is it? Like Okada is in Don Callis’ family and Jack just turned on us.”

Nick Jackson: “I think it’s just us.”

Matt: “Kenny’s not really around.. Hangman’s kinda doing his own thing.”

    Nick: “Yeah it’s just us.”

With all of their former allies either injured, estranged, or having turned against them, The Young Bucks are now on their own for the first time in years.

The slow dissolution of the group has been a central story in AEW. Former members \”Hangman\” Adam Page and Kenny Omega became estranged after Kazuchika Okada and Jack Perry were brought into the fold. Since then, it\’s all been fractured. Kazuchika Okada has since aligned himself with the rival Don Callis Family.

Jack Perry made his surprise return at the All Out pay-per-view this past Saturday, where he viciously attacked both Matt and Nick. Meanwhile, Kenny Omega is currently out of action with a long-term injury, and \”Hangman\” Adam Page has been focused on his own successful run as the AEW World Champion.

  • Mickie James To Be Inducted Into This Year\’s TNA Wrestling Hall Of Fame

Wrestling legend and 11-time women\’s world champion Mickie James will be the next inductee into the TNA Wrestling Hall of Fame. The surprise announcement was made on Monday, September 22, during a live episode of \”Notsam Wrestling Live!\” on SiriusXM. While James was being interviewed on the show by Sam Roberts and TNA legend Tommy Dreamer, TNA Wrestling President Carlos Silva made a special appearance to officially inform her of the induction.

The official induction ceremony is scheduled to take place at TNA\’s biggest pay-per-view event of the year, Bound For Glory, on Sunday, October 12, at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, Massachusetts. Mickie James is the first announced member of the Hall of Fame\’s Class of 2025 and will be the fourth woman to receive the honor, joining an elite group that includes Gail Kim, Awesome Kong, and Traci Brooks.

Throughout her career, which began in 1999, James has been a trailblazer in women\’s wrestling, capturing multiple world championships in both WWE and TNA. Her 2021 match against Deonna Purrazzo at Bound For Glory was voted the TNA Knockouts Match of the Year.

Outside of the ring, she has had a successful career as a country music singer and is an inductee into the Native American Music Awards Hall of Fame. Her induction will be a highlight of a star-studded Bound For Glory event, which is also set to feature the final match between The Hardys and Team 3D.

  • Darby Allin Sets Jon Moxley On Fire At AEW All Out

The violent feud between Darby Allin and Jon Moxley has escalated to a shocking and dangerous new level. Following their brutal Coffin Match at the AEW All Out pay-per-view, Darby Allin ambushed Moxley in a backstage segment and briefly set him on fire in a horrifying act of retaliation.

The attack took place later in the show, after their match had concluded. Moxley was gloating backstage beside the coffin that was used in their bout when Darby Allin suddenly emerged from inside it. Allin attacked Moxley with a metal pipe before zipping the former world champion into a body bag.

Allin doused the body bag with an accelerant and set it on fire. Backstage officials immediately rushed in with a fire extinguisher to put out the flames as security dragged Darby Allin away.

The retaliation was a direct response to the conclusion of their Coffin Match earlier in the evening. In that match, the returning PAC interfered by attacking Allin and placing him inside a body bag. PAC then put Allin into the coffin, allowing Jon Moxley to shut the lid and claim the victory.

  • Orange Cassidy\’s AEW Return Teased At All Out

It appears the return of \”Freshly Squeezed\” Orange Cassidy to AEW is imminent. During a backstage segment at the AEW All Out pay-per-view, a major tease suggested that Cassidy is ready to come back after a lengthy absence due to injury. The former AEW International Champion has been sidelined since March, but a cryptic exchange involving the Conglomeration faction has fans dpeculating that his return could happen at any moment. The tease aligns with previous reports from this past August that indicated he was healing up and would be back \”sooner than later\”.

The segment at All Out featured Mark Briscoe discussing his continued issues with the Don Callis Family. Briscoe then challenged Callis to pick three of his \”goons\” to face himself, Hologram, and a new third member of The Conglomeration. He turned to Kyle O’Reilly, who was on the phone, and asked if their mystery partner was ready to come back, to which O’Reilly simply replied, “He said, ‘Whatever.’” The group then all gave the signature, nonchalant thumbs-up gesture, seemingly confirming him as their new ally.

Cassidy has been out of action for over five months after sustaining what was suspected to be a torn labrum back in March, an injury that required shoulder surgery. A report from Fightful Select in August noted that Cassidy was \”on the mend\” and was not expected to be out for the remainder of the year, barring any setbacks. He has also been backstage at recent AEW events while recovering from his operation.

Before his injury, Orange Cassidy was one of AEW\’s most popular and reliable performers, largely due to his historic reign as the AEW International Champion. He held the title for 326 days and set a company record with 31 successful title defenses.

  • PAC Returns At AEW All Out

Jon Moxley defeated Darby Allin in a violent and bloody Coffin Match at the AEW All Out pay-per-view, but the victory came as a direct result of the return of PAC. \”The Bastard\” made his first appearance in All Elite Wrestling in over a year, emerging from inside the coffin to attack Darby Allin and hand the win to his former rival, Jon Moxley.

The match was a brutal brawl from the beginning, spilling out into the Toronto crowd. It featured interference from Moxley\’s Death Riders stablemates, Marina Shafir, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta, with Darby Allin using a screwdriver to bust Moxley open.

Late in the match, Moxley hit a Death Rider on the coffin, smashing it to pieces. Allin eventually gained the upper hand and suffocated Moxley with a plastic bag before attempting to put him in a second coffin that was brought to the ringside.

As Darby Allin opened the coffin to place Moxley inside, PAC shockingly emerged from within. He attacked Darby, heaving him over the top rope and through a ringside table. He then placed the battered Allin into a bodybag, put him in the coffin, and slammed the lid shut to give Jon Moxley the victory. This marks Darby Allin\’s second consecutive loss in a Coffin Match, bringing his record in the stipulation to one win and two losses.

  • Eddie Kingston Aligns With HOOK After First Match In Nearly 500 Days

After a grueling 497-day absence due to a career-threatening injury, Eddie Kingston has made his successful and emotional in-ring return to All Elite Wrestling. At the All Out pay-per-view in Toronto, \”The Mad King\” defeated Big Bill in his first match since May of 2024. The victory marks the culmination of a long and difficult road to recovery for the beloved fan favorite, who has been sidelined for over 16 months.

Kingston secured the pinfall victory over Big Bill after hitting a second, devastating spinning back fist. Following the match, Big Bill\’s tag team partner, Bryan Keith, entered the ring to attack the already exhausted Kingston. This brought out fellow New Yorker HOOK, who ran to the ring to make the save.

After clearing the ring of the heels, HOOK stood side-by-side with Kingston, forming a new and unexpected alliance. HOOK himself has recently been on his own after parting ways with his former Trios Championship partners, Samoa Joe and Powerhouse Hobbs.

Kingston\’s last match before his long layoff was at an NJPW Strong Resurgence event, where he lost his NJPW Strong Openweight Championship to Gabe Kidd in a brutal no rope, last man standing match. During that bout, Kingston suffered a multitude of severe injuries simultaneously, including a torn ACL, a torn meniscus, and a fractured leg, which required extensive surgery and rehabilitation.

  • Beth Copeland Makes AEW Debut At All Out

Adam Copeland and Christian Cage were victorious in their match against FTR at the AEW All Out pay-per-view in their hometown of Toronto, but their celebration wad cut short by a shocking post-match attack on Copeland\’s wife, Beth Copeland. The opening match of the main card saw the legendary tag team reunite in the ring, but the night ended in a dark turn of events.

The match began after some notable pre-match moments, including Bryan Danielson making his entrance to join the commentary team full-time and a backstage segment where Copeland and Cage encountered Canadian legends Wendel Clark and the \”Trailer Park Boys.\” The Toronto crowd was firmly behind the hometown team, even chanting \”He\’s our asshole\” for the heelish Christian Cage. The bout was a back-and-forth affair, with FTR focusing their attack on Dax Harwood\’s recently broken nose. Late in the match, FTR\’s manager, Stokely Hathaway, interfered by pulling the referee out of the ring.

This brought out Beth Copeland, who speared Hathaway and carried him to the back, neutralizing the threat and allowing her husband and Cage to secure the pinfall victory. As the reunited duo celebrated their win, they were ambushed by The Matriarchy.

Nick Wayne\’s mother, Shayna Wayne, led an attack that culminated in the group holding Beth Copeland down and allowing Nick Wayne\’s father to deliver a brutal piledriver to her in the center of the ring, leaving her motionless as the show continued.

It was also confirmed on Friday Night SmackDown that the main event of the evening will see Cody Rhodes defend his Undisputed WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre.

The event is a historic one for WWE, as it marks the beginning of their new five-year media rights partnership with ESPN for Premium Live Events in the United States. According to a new report from Bodyslam.net. the current planned match order, which is subject to change, is listed below:

    • John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar
    • The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) vs. The Vision (Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed)
    • Women’s World Championship Match: Iyo Sky vs. Stephanie Vaquer

  • Oba Femi Says Current WWE NXT Is \”Doing A Lot Better Than\” Black And Gold Era

Reigning NXT Champion Oba Femi has made a bold statement about the current state of WWE\’s developmental brand, stating that he believes today\’s version of NXT is superior to the \”Black and Gold\” era. Femi\’s comments come after a statement made last month by NXT\’s head of creative, Shawn Michaels, who called the show the \”best two-hour show on television.\”

Speaking with Good Karma Wrestling, Oba Femi explained why he agrees with his boss\’s assessment and why he feels the current product has surpassed its predecessor.

“I mean, I agree. I agree with Shawn, in the sense that the brand is doing the best work it’s done forever. We’re on The CW Network, which is huge for us. Our partnership has been going on for the first year. We’re going into year two now so we’re expecting very big things, and I do understand that there is an era of NXT and Black and Gold which is like revered by the fans and that’s what they remember but, it’s very hard to understand that right now, we’re doing a lot better than back then. The version of NXT that is romanticized by the fans is not even doing as well as we are today. I do appreciate all the effort that the Black and Gold brand put forth. Without them, there is no NXT today, but, we have to understand that this, right now, is the best two hours of wrestling on television.”

He further elaborated on his point, arguing that the current version of NXT has successfully blended the best aspects of the Black and Gold era\’s in-ring action with the entertainment-focused style of the main roster.

“So of course, the Black and Gold era was defined by the introduction of a lot of the independent wrestlers that came with all the experience and all that. It was fast-paced action and you know, it was bang, bang, bang. The main roster has a little bit of a slower pace, where it is more entertainment-based and more about the moments and stuff like that. So, I believe that NXT today has found a way to successfully merge the two because there’s people who are like, ‘It’s too slow. I want more action’ and there’s people who is like, ‘Oh, this is too fast. We need more stars and moments.’ So NXT right now is the perfect combination of both styles, where you do have stars, big stars like Oba Femi and Trick Williams and you still have that fast-paced action by Oba Femi and Trick Williams so, this is the best version. The best possible version of NXT that we can have.”

  • The Rock To Produce \”Teddy Ruxpin\” Film For Amazon MGM Studios

A live-action feature film based on the iconic 1980s animatronic toy, Teddy Ruxpin, is officially in development at Amazon MGM Studios. The project is a collaboration between two powerhouse production companies, with Dwayne \”The Rock\” Johnson and Dany Garcia’s Seven Bucks Productions partnering with Dmitri M. Johnson and Michael Lawrence Goldberg’s Story Kitchen to produce the film.

The news, which was first reported by Variety, confirms that the beloved character will be brought to the big screen for a new generation. The script for the film is set to be written by Chris Hazzard and Mike Fontana.

According to the report, Amazon secured the rights to the project following a competitive bidding war with multiple other studios. While specific plot details are being kept under wraps, the pitch for the film’s tone has been described as a blend of “‘Sonic the Hedgehog’ meets ‘Elf’,” suggesting a family-friendly adventure that will likely use a mix of live-action and CGI to bring the talking bear-like creature to life.

Teddy Ruxpin was first released in 1985 and became a global cultural phenomenon as the world’s first animated talking toy, selling over eight million units. The toy\’s success spawned a massive franchise that included books, games, and the popular animated television series, “The Adventures of Teddy Ruxpin.” The new film marks another collaboration between Seven Bucks Productions and Story Kitchen, who are also partnered on a film adaptation of the video game “It Takes Two,” which is also in development at Amazon MGM Studios.

  • WWE WrestlePalooza Potential Spoiler

A new report has come that could indicate a surprise appearance at tonight\’s WWE WrestlePalooza Premium Live Event. According to a report from PWInsider, WWE superstar LA Knight has been spotted in Indianapolis, Indiana, the host city for the inaugural event. Knight is not officially scheduled to compete on the show, but his presence has fueled speculation that he may get involved at the show in some capacity.

While his involvement is not confirmed, the most logical place for a potential appearance would be during the tag team match pitting The Usos against The Vision\’s Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. LA Knight has been involved in a heated feud with the entire Vision faction for several months on Monday Night Raw. The rivalry recently kicked up another notch when Breakker and Reed attacked Knight and cost him a number one contender\’s match for the World Heavyweight Championship, giving him a clear motive for revenge.

However, the situation is complicated by a new feud that has developed between LA Knight and Jey Uso. On the past two episodes of Raw, the two stars have come to blows and laid each other out with their finishing moves. Here is the card for the show:

    • John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar
    • WWE Champion Cody Rhodes defends against Drew McIntyre
    • Women’s World Championship: IYO SKY vs. Stephanie Vaquer
    • CM Punk & AJ Lee vs. Seth Rollins & Becky Lynch
    • Bronson Reed & Bron Breakker vs. The Usos
  • Bronson Reed Talks Comeback, Tag Team Chemistry with Bron Breakker

In a new interview on Busted Open Radio with host Dave LaGreca, WWE\’s Bronson Reed shared insights on his journey back to the top ahead of his high-profile tag match at Wrestlepalooza, where he will team with Bron Breakker to take on The Usos.

Reed discussed overcoming a serious injury and described this past year as a culmination of years of hard work, stating, “I\’ve never been hots-hotted into a position. I’ve always had to work my way up the ladder, whether that was the independents, NXT, or during my time away in Impact and New Japan.”

He credited a grueling rehab regimen and self-discipline for returning at a higher level than before, with the support of a strength and conditioning coach.

    Reed & Bron Breakker

Reflecting on his on-screen partnership with Bron Breakker, Reed acknowledged there was an adjustment period but emphasized their strong chemistry as two singles stars who have come together as a formidable tag team.

Reed also expressed excitement about WWE\’s growing relationship with ESPN, calling it “very exciting times” and highlighting the company’s global expansion.

Looking to tomorrow’s Wrestlepalooza bout, Reed said he and Breakker are ready to make a statement against the renowned Usos tag team.

He ended with gratitude for the opportunity, crediting WWE for recognizing his value and reinforcing his “don’t quit” approach to the wrestling business.

  • Eddie Kingston Considered Retirement Amid Absence With Injury

AEW star Eddie Kingston has pulled back the curtain on the immense personal struggles he faced during his lengthy injury absence, revealing that he seriously contemplated retiring from professional wrestling. In a candid interview with CBS Sports, Kingston detailed the dark days of his recovery from a severe leg injury, a period in which he battled mentally and physically before finding the inspiration to make his return.

Kingston has been sidelined since May 2024, after suffering a torn ACL, torn meniscus, and a fractured tibia during a No Ropes Last Man Standing match against Gabe Kidd at an NJPW STRONG event. He explained that the physical pain was manageable compared to the mental toll of the recovery process. “The hardest part of anything in life is the mental game. Pain is whatever. I’ve had eight or nine surgeries already,” Kingston said. He revealed he spent a significant portion of his recovery in isolation. “I told her to get out and that I’d be alright, lying, of course. For two months, I was by myself. I wasn’t doing PT, sitting there days in the dark by myself. Thank God I don’t really drink much anymore. I coped with food, which didn’t help”.

The mental and physical challenges led Kingston to a point where he was unsure if an in-ring return was possible, and he began trying to talk himself into retirement. “I went from beating myself up, not knowing if I’d get back in the ring, and trying to be satisfied. I told myself, ‘Well, I reached this goal and I reached that goal.’ I was trying to convince myself that it’s OK to call it,” he stated. However, when asked if he could find closure with that decision, Kingston’s response was blunt. “I couldn’t (find closure). Nothing. Death. Honestly. I tried to find everything. I would lie to myself”.

Ultimately, Kingston found his motivation to return from his mentor and friend, Homicide, who was forced into retirement due to his own health issues earlier in 2025. “He didn’t get to go out his way. So he’d tell me, ‘Go out your way. I know this is not the way you want to go out.’ I want to go out on my shield. I want to go out swinging to the end,” Kingston recalled. “People can say whatever they want about Eddie Kingston, but one thing they can’t say is that I wasn’t defiant to the end. That’s what kept me going”.

Kingston is now scheduled to compete for the first time in over a year this Saturday, September 20, at the AEW All Out pay-per-view, where he will face Big Bill.

  • Seth Rollins Addresses WWE WrestleMania 43 Taking Place In Saudi Arabia

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins has shared his thoughts on the announcement that WrestleMania 43 will be held in Saudi Arabia. The decision to take WWE\’s biggest event of the year to an international location is part of a strategy that has seen the company hold major Premium Live Events in countries like Australia, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom in recent years because of big rights fees. WWE is reportedly getting paid major money from Saudi Arabia for bringing the show there.

This global push is set to continue, with reports of a PLE coming to Italy in 2026 and the Royal Rumble also heading to Saudi Arabia in January of next year. During a recent appearance on the \”Nightcap\” podcast, Rollins was asked about the decision to hold WrestleMania in Riyadh in 2027.

“WWE’s a global brand. We just announced we’re doing WrestleMania, we’re going to Riyadh in 2027. So that’ll be our first… yeah, it’s amazing. We’ve had a partnership with the athletic commission there in Saudi for the last six years and this is a continuation of that.”

The partnership between WWE and Saudi Arabia\’s General Entertainment Authority has been in place since 2018.

  • Nikki Bella Reveals Her Mount Rushmore Of Women\’s Wrestling

WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella has revealed her personal picks for the Mount Rushmore of women\’s wrestling, and she used the opportunity to take a direct shot at WWE Women\’s Intercontinental Champion, Becky Lynch. The former longest-reigning Divas Champion, who has recently returned to WWE and had been in a feud with Lynch, made her selections during a recent conversation with SportBible.

Before naming her final four, Nikki explained her philosophy on the concept, stating that she believes every era of women\’s wrestling is strong enough to warrant its own Mount Rushmore.

“So my Mount Rushmore of female wrestlers are- now this is tough for me because I feel you could actually do a Mount Rushmore in every era of female wrestling. I feel like when you look at all the different eras of from when women’s wrestling started, there’s always an iconic four that have helped build a division or have taken the division to the next evolution of the division growing. So this one’s very hard for me to do, and there’s so many people I want to put on this.\”

She then revealed her four picks, which included a direct insult to her current on-screen rival.

\”First, so I’m going to try to pick maybe some from different generations. So let’s put on Mae Young for what she did for women’s wrestling and let’s… do Trish Stratus for what she’s done for women’s wrestling. So it’s like another generation, another era. If we’re gonna talk present right now, let’s put up Rhea Ripley for what she’s doing for women’s wrestling. The fourth spot I thought about Becky Lynch, but she doesn’t deserve that. So we’re not gonna put up Becky Lynch and I mean, if she was on there, then I would definitely put my head on there to take over her spot. But I’ll just save that for our title match. Maybe we could battle out who deserves to be on Mount Rushmore. The fourth one I’m going to put on for myself, it would be Nattie Neidhart because to put on someone who comes from a wrestling family, I think how being the only female from the Hart family to do what she’s done, to come from the dungeon, she doesn’t get enough credit for what she’s done for women’s wrestling, but just how she’s carried on legacy and the pressure of that. So I think that definitely deserves a spot on my Mount Rushmore.”

  • Charlotte Flair Admits She \”Wasn\’t Ready\” For Her First Divas Championship Reign

WWE Women\’s Tag Team Champion Charlotte Flair recently reflected on her first-ever main roster championship win, admitting that at the time, she was not ready for the responsibility that came with being a champion. The moment took place at the Night of Champions pay-per-view in September 2015, when a still relatively new Charlotte defeated Nikki Bella to win the Divas Championship, ending Nikki\’s record-breaking 301-day reign. The win was a pivotal moment in the \”Divas Revolution\” storyline of that era, but \”The Queen\” now believes that she had not yet grown into the role of a top champion.

In a new interview with Kate Mackz, the multi-time world champion explained her feelings about that first championship run.

“When I won the Diva’s Championship from Nikki Bella, I wasn’t ready. The title owned me, I didn’t own the title. You don’t want it to be about the title, you want it to be about you. It’s about the person holding it. So I didn’t think I got to that until I became the inaugural Raw Women’s Champion at WrestleMania 32 and I retired the Diva’s Championship.”

Her reign as Divas Champion lasted 196 days before the championship was retired at WrestleMania 32 and replaced with the new WWE Women\’s Championship, which she also won. The transition marked a significant step in the evolution of women\’s wrestling in WWE, and for Flair, it was the moment she truly felt she had become a champion. Today, she currently holds the WWE Women\’s Tag Team Championships with her partner, Alexa Bliss.

  • Seth Rollins Says \”Less Than 10\” People Knew About His Fake Injury

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins has pulled back the curtain on his elaborate \”Ruse of the Century,\” where he faked a career-threatening knee injury for weeks before making a shocking return at SummerSlam to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase and win the championship. The long-term storyline was one of the most talked-about angles of the year, completely fooling a large portion of the fanbase and even some of his closest friends in the business.

Speaking with Jimmy Traina on the SI Media podcast, Rollins was asked how many people were in on the plan. “You can probably count on two hands.”

He also discussed the origins of the idea and his own commitment to making it a success.

“I’m not exactly sure where it was hatched. It was presented to me in advance, quite some time, which in our business is a few weeks. I thought the idea was brilliant when I first heard it. Obviously, the execution was going to be important, and the details were going to need to be ironed out. I felt the crux of the idea was brilliant. I was the guy to be able to pull that off. I was very excited at the prospect of it. My level of commitment to our industry is second to none. I was the guy for the job.”

When asked if he felt any guilt about deceiving his colleagues and the fans, Rollins was unapologetic.

“I didn’t feel guilty. I let my wife [Becky Lynch] take all the guilt. She has the Irish guilt anyway… If someone did this to me, I wouldn’t feel bad in the slightest. I would totally get it. Even my closest friends. Maybe John Cena. John reached out and I had to do my best to wiggle around it. John and I are cut from the same cloth, so when John saw the final outcome, he was very happy and proud.”

The storyline will culminate this Saturday at the WWE WrestlePalooza Premium Live Event, where Rollins will team with Becky Lynch to face CM Punk and the returning AJ Lee.

  • Cody Rhodes: \”I Need A Roman Reigns\”

Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes has named Roman Reigns as the most significant rival of his entire career. Since his return to WWE in 2022, \”The American Nightmare\” has been on a history-making run, culminating in his epic, multi-year story to capture the championship that had eluded his family. At the center of that story was Roman Reigns, whose historic reign as champion served as the final boss for Rhodes\’s quest to win the title.

While Rhodes has had notable feuds with other top stars, he believes his respectful but intense competition with Reigns is what defines his current era. During a recent appearance on ESPN\’s \”First Take,\” Rhodes was asked to name the biggest feud of his career and did not hesitate to name \”The Tribal Chief.\”

“In my career for sure is going to be Roman Reigns. Roman Reigns held the center of all of wrestling for a while when I went out there and did everything and tried to make as much noise and create all kinds of different worlds, he held the center, he was WWE’s guy and he stayed their guy. I came in as a disruptor and no matter how you look at it — wrestling is as real as it gets or you just look at it as the show — that competition between us is filled with respect. That’s the one that I’m always having to keep an eye out for, even as WWE Champion. Roman any day can step in and be the face of the company. We just did a movie together, which is crazy, the fact that we’re in this movie. Roman keeps me on my toes and I hope he’s around for years to come. I need a Roman Reigns.”

The rivalry between the two men was headlined by their back-to-back main events at WrestleMania 39 and WrestleMania 40. They last shared a ring at the Bad Blood premium live event in October 2024, where they teamed up to defeat two members of The Bloodline.
