A mysterious vignette aired during Monday’s episode of WWE Raw, strongly hinting at the return of former WWE Superstar Big Cass.
The video featured narration from the 7-foot-tall wrestler, who asked viewers: “What happens when the whole world calls you can’t miss? What happens when the whole world is wrong?”
The package closed with a massive silhouette of Big Cass looming over the numbers “8/3,” which is being interpreted as a clear signal that he is scheduled to return on the August 3 edition of Monday Night Raw — the first Raw following SummerSlam.
Big Cass, whose real name is Bill Morrissey, rose to prominence in WWE as the tag team partner of Enzo Amore. The duo became one of the most popular acts on the roster from 2013 until Cass’s release in 2018.
Since leaving WWE, Morrissey has been competing in All Elite Wrestling under the name Big Bill. The vignette marks the first official tease of Morrissey’s return to WWE television.
Fans are already speculating about what a Cass return could mean heading into the post-SummerSlam period.
