Paul Heyman tried to lawyer his way out of trouble on the July 13 episode of Raw from Dallas, and it backfired in spectacular fashion. On-screen, the advocate revealed he had filed a restraining order against Oba Femi ahead of the King of the Ring winner’s Hell in a Cell match with Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam.

Heyman opened Raw leaning into an obsession theme, calling out Femi for fixating on Lesnar before admitting The Beast has become equally consumed with facing The Ruler inside the Cell. Against that backdrop, Heyman said he filed the order to protect his client’s financial interests heading into Minnesota.

It did not work. Femi arrived anyway, plowing through the officers stationed to keep him back. “You can’t run from Oba Femi!” he shouted after clearing the scene, drawing a loud reaction from the crowd.

The angle recycles a device WWE ran earlier this year, when Heyman revealed a restraining order against Seth Rollins on the March 30 Raw, leading to Rollins being taken out of the arena after breaking it. The Femi version flips the dynamic, positioning The Ruler as an unstoppable force rather than a lurking threat.

The stakes stay built around SummerSlam. Femi defeated Lesnar at WrestleMania 42 before Lesnar returned to even the score with a win at Clash in Italy, setting up the trilogy inside Hell in a Cell.

Lesnar is scheduled for one more Raw on July 27 before the pay-per-view. Heyman has been rebranding the structure as “the Brocktagon” on recent shows, a nod to Lesnar’s UFC pedigree and his 2-2 record inside the Cell.

The build comes as WWE works to move SummerSlam tickets, making segments like this one a priority for generating momentum. Femi, who holds a number one contender’s spot from his King of the Ring victory, is expected to hold that title shot until after his business with Lesnar concludes.
