Tamyra Mensah-Stock has been released from WWE, according to Fightful Select. The Olympic gold medalist competed in WWE as Tayra Mae Steel after signing with the company in 2023.
Mensah-Stock won a gold medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo before joining WWE’s developmental system. She quickly made an impact by winning the women’s division in the first season of WWE Legends & Future Greats, earning an NXT contract while being mentored by The Undertaker.
WWE Run and Appearances
During her time with WWE, Mensah-Stock became a regular presence on WWE EVOLVE. She also appeared on WWE NXT and WWE NXT Level Up as part of the developmental roster.
Her release adds another name to WWE’s ongoing list of departures, which has continued expanding across both the main roster and developmental system in recent months.
