WWE NXT Tonight (5/26/26): Start Time, Card & How to Watch

    WWE NXT

WWE NXT airs tonight (Tuesday, May 26, 2026) from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, live on The CW starting at 8 PM ET.

WWE continues its weekly developmental programming with tonight’s episode. Lola Vice defends the NXT Women’s Championship against Izzi Dame in the main event, the Men’s Speed Tournament rolls on, and five more bouts fill out the lineup.

Here’s everything you need to know including start times, how to watch, and the full card.

WWE NXT Match Card for May 26, 2026

Here are the matches and segments announced for tonight’s show:

Lola Vice (c) vs. Izzi Dame (NXT Women’s Championship Match)

Dame earned this shot the hard way, putting Vice down with a Busaiku Knee strike during a recent mixed tag match and sending a message to the rest of the women’s locker room. Tonight she gets the champion one-on-one with the title on the line.

    The Culling vs. OTM

Izzi Dame’s faction goes to work in the tag division hours before its leader challenges for gold. A win here builds momentum for The Culling heading into the main event.

    Layla Diggs vs. Jaida Parker

Two contenders looking to climb the women’s division meet in singles action. A clean result tonight puts the winner back in the title conversation.

    Wren Sinclair vs. Kelani Jordan

Sinclair and Jordan square off in a matchup of two of NXT’s most active competitors. Both need the win to keep their stock rising.

    Shiloh Hill vs. Charlie Dempsey

Hill draws BirthRight’s Charlie Dempsey, a technically sharp test for anyone on the roster. Dempsey’s faction backing makes this a tougher night than the bout sheet suggests.

Dorian Van Dux vs. Sean Legacy (Men’s Speed Tournament Match)

The Men’s Speed Tournament continues with its short-form, tight time-limit format. The eventual bracket winner earns a championship opportunity, so Van Dux and Legacy are racing the clock as much as each other.

Road to NXT’s Next Premium Live Event

NXT’s next Premium Live Event takes place Sunday, May 31, streaming at 2 PM ET on the ESPN App.

Tonight’s card sharpens the picture heading into that weekend. The Lola Vice and Izzi Dame title match decides who carries the NXT Women’s Championship into the event, while the Men’s Speed Tournament keeps sorting out a future challenger.

WWE NXT Preview (5/12/26): Naraku Debuts, Kelani Jordan in Action

WWE NXT airs tonight (Tuesday, May 12, 2026) from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, live on The CW starting at 8 PM ET.

Tonight’s episode delivers the long-awaited in-ring debut of Naraku, the former IWGP Heavyweight Champion who spent more than a decade in New Japan Pro-Wrestling as EVIL.

Noam Dar also returns to action against Jackson Drake, and the brewing four-way feud over the NXT Women’s North American Championship gets another round when Zaria and Nikkita Lyons face Tatum Paxley and Lizzy Rain. Here’s everything you need to know.

WWE NXT Match Card for May 12, 2026

Here are the matches and segments announced for tonight’s show:

Naraku Makes His In-Ring NXT Debut

The former EVIL appeared in NXT on April 28 to confront NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo, then aired a vignette on May 5 confirming his new ring name and his sights on the title. His opponent for tonight has not been announced, but WWE has used the debut spot to set up his championship pursuit. The 12-year NJPW veteran brings the heaviest international resume to land on the brand in years.

Noam Dar vs. Jackson Drake (w/ Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes)

Dar returns to in-ring action after time away with injury, his first televised match in weeks. Drake comes in flanked by The Vanity Project’s Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes, which immediately tilts the numbers. Expect the babyface Dar to deal with the outside interference factor before the bell even sounds.

Kendal Grey vs. Kelani Jordan (w/ Wren Sinclair)

Both women are positioning for a path back to the NXT Women’s Championship picture. Grey came up short at Stand & Deliver in the triple threat that Lola Vice won, and Jordan has been chasing rhythm since her cross-promotional run. Sinclair in Jordan’s corner suggests this won’t stay a clean one-on-one.

Zaria and Nikkita Lyons vs. Tatum Paxley and Lizzy Rain

The four-way pile-up around the NXT Women’s North American Championship continues. Champion Tatum Paxley aligned with the newcomer Lizzy Rain after weeks of confrontations with Zaria and Lyons, who have made it clear they both want a shot at the title. Tag-team chemistry is the test tonight, but the title scene is the real story.

Sean Legacy, Tate Wilder and EK Prosper vs. BirthRight (Lexis King, Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo, and Uriah Connors w/ Arianna Grace)

BirthRight has been one of the most active heel groups on the brand, with Arianna Grace running point at ringside. Legacy, Wilder, and Prosper make for an athletic babyface trio with something to prove. Watch for Charlie Dempsey on the floor, since BirthRight tends to travel deep.

Road to NXT Great American Bash 2026

NXT Great American Bash 2026 is reportedly scheduled for the final week of July at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, per a Bodyslam.net report. It will be the first NXT Premium Live Event on The CW under the brand’s new multi-year deal with the network.

Tonight’s show is the early stage of the road there. Naraku’s debut, Dar’s return, and the women’s title scene churn all start building toward a card that will mark NXT’s biggest broadcast television moment yet. More on the Great American Bash 2026 timeline and CW deal here.

  • WWE NXT Massachusetts Event Canceled, Refunds Issued

WWE NXT Massachusetts Event Canceled, Refunds Issued

WWE NXT has canceled its scheduled June 9 event at Lowell Memorial Auditorium in Lowell, Massachusetts, citing unforeseen circumstances and immediately initiating the automatic refund process for ticket holders.

Fans who purchased tickets received email notification of the cancellation and were informed that refunds would be processed through the original payment method within 14 to 21 business days. The event page on the Lowell Memorial Auditorium website now displays an error message, confirming that the show has been removed from the venue’s calendar.

No official statement has been released by WWE regarding the specific nature of the unforeseen circumstances that led to the decision. The company has also not confirmed whether the June 9 episode of NXT will air from the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, which has served as the fallback location when NXT television tapings at external venues are canceled on short notice.

When similar cancellations have occurred in the past, the show has typically returned to its home base without a significant disruption to the broadcast schedule.

Whether an alternative venue in the Massachusetts area is being considered also remains unknown. The lack of a public explanation from WWE leaves ticket holders and area fans without clarity about what prompted the last-minute change.

  • WWE NXT Lands On ESPN App As Part Of New CW Streaming Deal

WWE NXT Lands On ESPN App As Part Of New CW Streaming Deal

WWE NXT is heading to the ESPN App. The CW Network and ESPN announced a sweeping streaming partnership on Wednesday that will make every CW Sports live event available on ESPN’s direct-to-consumer service starting this summer, including weekly NXT broadcasts.

Under the deal, more than 800 hours of CW Sports programming will stream live on the ESPN App for ESPN Unlimited subscribers. The lineup includes WWE NXT, the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, ACC, Pac-12, and Mountain West college football and basketball, PBA Bowling, PBR Bull Riding, AVP volleyball, and the 2026 Arizona Bowl.

What It Means For NXT Viewers

Nothing changes for fans who already watch NXT on linear television. The two-hour Tuesday night broadcast will continue to air on The CW from 8 to 10 p.m. ET, just as it has since the brand moved to broadcast TV in October 2024. The ESPN partnership simply adds a live streaming option for cord-cutters and viewers who prefer the ESPN App ecosystem.

“We were hunting for a streaming solution, and the thing that we knew was that the world doesn’t need another direct-to-consumer product,” CW Network President Brad Schwartz told TheWrap. “We decided our strategy was not going to be adding to that challenge for people and that we were going to partner with somebody to do it. If you’re going to find a partner for sports, the worldwide leader in sports is a pretty good one to go with.”

    NXT Joins WWE’s ESPN Footprint

The timing is notable. The new streaming arrangement lands one day after WWE and The CW announced that all NXT Premium Live Events will move exclusively to The CW beginning with The Great American Bash this summer. With CW Sports content now flowing into the ESPN App, that means NXT PLEs will also be available to stream there alongside the weekly show.

That puts nearly all of WWE’s premium U.S. content under the ESPN streaming roof. Main roster PLEs including WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and the Royal Rumble already stream on ESPN as part of the company’s $1.6 billion deal with the network. Monday Night Raw remains on Netflix, while SmackDown stays on USA Network.

A First Of Its Kind For ESPN

According to Variety, this marks the first time ESPN’s streaming service has partnered with a non-Disney-owned broadcast network in a major way. The CW will retain control of all advertising sales tied to its sports inventory, with year one operating as a linear pass-through before dynamic ad insertion is rolled out.

NXT’s first run on broadcast television has already paid off for The CW. The network previously called the partnership “an absolute game changer”, with NXT regularly outpacing Fox among adults 18-49 and 25-54 on Tuesday nights. Adding ESPN App distribution gives the brand its widest combined linear and streaming reach to date.

The CW Sports launch on the ESPN App is set for summer 2026.

  • WWE NXT Premium Live Events To Air on CW Network

WWE NXT Premium Live Events To Air on CW Network

WWE NXT Premium Live Events are moving to broadcast television for the first time, with The CW Network announcing a deal to air all NXT PLEs exclusively on the network.

The agreement, announced Tuesday, will see The CW broadcast 20 NXT Premium Live Events over the next several years, beginning with The Great American Bash later this summer. The deal includes marquee events such as Stand and Deliver, Deadline, and Vengeance Day, and brings all NXT programming under one roof on The CW, which already airs weekly NXT episodes every Tuesday night from 8 to 10 p.m. ET.

The CW entered its initial five-year deal with WWE in October 2024, bringing NXT to broadcast television for the first time in the show’s history. That debut delivered the largest audience for the program since October 2023 and ranked as the network’s top telecast of the year among adults in the key demographics.

Shawn Michaels, who oversees NXT as WWE Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative, framed the expansion as a natural step for a brand that has grown significantly on its broadcast-television home.

“The CW has played an integral role in raising the profile of our up-and-coming Superstars, and we are excited to bring NXT Premium Live Events to broadcast television for the first time ever,” Michaels said.

The CW Network President Brad Schwartz described the addition as a logical extension of what the network already delivers every Tuesday. “WWE NXT has energized our Tuesday nights by consistently delivering a loyal and passionate fanbase to The CW every week. Adding WWE NXT Premium Live Events to our schedule is a natural fit, providing one broadcast destination for audiences to watch all their favorite Superstars, storylines and championship matches,” Schwartz said.

The current NXT roster is led by champion Tony D’Angelo and NXT Women’s Champion Lola Vice.

WWE NXT airs tonight (Tuesday, April 21, 2026) from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, live on The CW starting at 8 PM ET.

Tonight closes out NXT Revenge, the two-week special that began last Tuesday with Lola Vice and Tony D’Angelo both retaining in title defenses.

Week 2 is stacked with three championship matches, a Last Woman Standing grudge match, and the final chapter of the vacant WWE Speed Championship tournament. Here’s everything you need to know including start times, how to watch, and the full card.

WWE NXT Match Card for April 21, 2026

Here are the matches and segments announced for tonight’s show:

Tatum Paxley (c) vs. Blake Monroe (NXT Women’s North American Championship Casket Match)

Paxley chose the casket stipulation after GM Robert Stone granted Monroe the title shot on last week’s show. The match serves as the payoff to Monroe’s Vanity Project alliance, which has dominated Paxley’s storyline since the faction aligned against her earlier this year.

Myles Borne (c) vs. Dion Lennox (NXT North American Championship)

Borne makes his first defense since taking the title from Johnny Gargano at Stand & Deliver. Lennox represents DarkState, which has been positioning around the midcard title picture for weeks.

Lexis King vs. EK Prosper (WWE Speed Championship Tournament Final)

The tournament to crown a new WWE Speed Champion wraps tonight. King advanced two weeks ago with a win over Chazz “Starboy” Hall, while Prosper punched his ticket last Tuesday by defeating Dorian Van Dux in the semifinal. The title was vacated after Elio LeFleur suffered a shoulder injury at a house show.

Sol Ruca vs. Zaria (Last Woman Standing Match)

The rivalry between Ruca and Zaria has been building for months and boiled over at Stand & Deliver, where the two had a grudge match without a definitive ending to the larger story. Tonight is designed as the final stop, with a 10-count needed for the decision.

    Keanu Carver vs. Joe Hendry

Carver interrupted Hendry’s concert segment last week and overpowered the former NXT Champion in the ensuing brawl, spearing security through the barricade. Hendry’s path after losing the NXT Title at Stand & Deliver now runs through Carver, who has been positioned as one of NXT’s top power players since his heel turn.

Road to WWE NXT’s Next Premium Live Event

With Stand & Deliver and NXT Revenge both in the rearview, tonight’s results will begin shaping the next major stop on the NXT calendar. Three championship matches wrapping on the same night means at least one title picture gets fully reset coming out of the show, and the Speed Championship will have a new full-time holder for the first time since LeFleur’s injury.

WWE NXT Revenge Preview (4/14/26): Full Match Card

WWE NXT airs tonight (Tuesday, April 14, 2026) from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, live on The CW starting at 8 PM ET.

Tonight kicks off NXT Revenge, a two-week special event announced by General Manager Robert Stone on last week’s show. The first night features two championship matches as both newly crowned champions defend for the first time, a Speed Championship tournament semifinal, a grudge match, and a concert from former NXT Champion Joe Hendry. Here’s everything you need to know including start times, how to watch, and the full card.

NXT Revenge Week 1 Match Card for April 14, 2026

Here are the matches and segments announced for tonight’s show:

Tony D’Angelo (c) vs. Ethan Page (NXT Championship)

Tony D’Angelo puts the NXT Championship on the line for the first time since winning it at Stand & Deliver in a fatal four-way. The victory made D’Angelo the first NXT Grand Slam Champion in history, having previously held the North American Championship, Heritage Cup, and Tag Team Championships.

Page has a personal score to settle. During an eight-man tag team match on last week’s NXT, Page kicked D’Angelo out of the way and stole the pin against DarkState, prompting D’Angelo to request this match. Page said backstage that he wants to humble D’Angelo, claiming the new champion is chasing glory and the spotlight now that he’s achieved grand slam status. After spending nearly two years in NXT since leaving AEW, Page has the experience and the chip on his shoulder to make this a legitimate threat.

Lola Vice (c) vs. Jacy Jayne (NXT Women’s Championship)

Lola Vice makes her first defense after capturing the NXT Women’s Championship at Stand & Deliver, where she pinned Jayne with a spinning backfist in a triple threat that also included Kendal Grey. Jayne held the title for 137 days before losing it in St. Louis.

Jayne will have Fatal Influence’s Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid in her corner tonight. Henley recently lost the WWE Women’s Speed Championship, so the entire stable is hungry to reclaim gold. Vice’s MMA-influenced striking style gave her the edge at Stand & Deliver, but Jayne won’t go quietly with backup at ringside.

    Jaida Parker vs. Kelani Jordan

The bad blood between Parker and Jordan continues. Parker defeated Jordan on the March 31 episode of NXT, but Jordan attacked her backstage afterward. Parker responded by promising to make Jordan’s life miserable throughout the week at the Performance Center. This rivalry has been simmering for months, dating back to Jordan’s return from TNA and her subsequent heel turn. Tonight should settle who has the upper hand heading into week two of Revenge.

EK Prosper vs. Dorian Van Dux (WWE Men’s Speed Championship Tournament Semifinal)

The tournament for the vacant WWE Speed Championship continues with this semifinal bout. The title was vacated after Elio LeFleur suffered a shoulder injury at a house show. Prosper has been in the Speed title conversation for months and enters as the more established NXT name. Van Dux is relatively unknown to the NXT audience, having worked primarily in Evolve and AAA. Lexis King already advanced to the finals after defeating Chazz “Starboy” Hall last week, so the winner here faces King in the tournament final during NXT Revenge Week 2 on April 21.

    Joe Hendry Live in Concert

Former NXT Champion Joe Hendry will address his future through a live concert segment. Hendry lost the NXT Championship to D’Angelo in the fatal four-way at Stand & Deliver after holding the title since February. Robert Stone indicated that Hendry will discuss what’s next, which could mean a championship rematch, a main roster call-up, or an entirely different direction. Given the crowd reception Hendry consistently receives, this segment could set the tone for one of NXT’s biggest storylines heading into the summer.

Road to NXT Revenge Week 2

NXT Revenge Week 2 takes place Tuesday, April 21, from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

The second week is headlined by Sol Ruca vs. Zaria in a Last Woman Standing Match, plus the WWE Men’s Speed Championship Tournament Final featuring Lexis King against tonight’s semifinal winner. Kali Armstrong, the former Evolve Women’s Champion, will also make her NXT debut. Tonight’s results will shape additional matchups for next week’s show.

NXT Roadblock Match Card for March 31, 2026

Here are the matches and segments announced for tonight’s show:

Lola Vice vs. Kendal Grey (NXT Women’s Championship #1 Contender’s Match)

The winner earns the right to challenge Jacy Jayne for the NXT Women’s Championship at Stand & Deliver. Both women have legitimate claims to the opportunity. Vice has been on the NXT roster since early 2023 and has come agonizingly close to winning the title on multiple occasions, including a loss to Jayne at No Mercy. Grey’s rise has been meteoric by comparison. She debuted in NXT in March 2024, broke out on the Evolve brand, and won the Iron Survivor Challenge at Deadline to earn her first Women’s Championship match at New Year’s Evil. Interim GM Robert Stone set this match after both women staked their claim following last week’s show.

Los Americanos (Rayo & Bravo Americano) vs. Birthright (Channing Lorenzo & Uriah Connors) (Tag Title #1 Contender’s Tournament Final)

The finals of the tag team tournament that Robert Stone announced on the March 10 episode. The winners face The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor & Ricky Smokes) for the NXT Tag Team Championship at Stand & Deliver. Los Americanos advanced by beating The Culling (Niko Vance & Shawn Spears), while Birthright knocked off Hank & Tank on their side of the bracket. With Charlie Dempsey and the rest of the Birthright stable at ringside, expect Lorenzo and Connors to use every shortcut available.

Mike Santana & OTM (Bronco Nima & Lucien Price) vs. DarkState (Dion Lennox, Osiris Griffin & Saquon Shugars)

OTM and DarkState have been tangled up for months, and it never seems to be a fair fight. That changes tonight with TNA Champion Mike Santana joining forces with Bronco Nima and Lucien Price. Santana has his own history with DarkState, and the New York crowd should be firmly in his corner as a hometown fighter stepping into an MSG ring.

Jasper Troy vs. Keanu Carver (Special Guest Referee: Josh Briggs)

This stems from Carver’s attack during Booker T Appreciation Night, where he crashed the celebration and went after everyone in sight. Troy turned face by stepping up to neutralize Carver. Finding an official willing to work this match proved to be its own subplot, with multiple referees declining the assignment before Briggs volunteered just to get himself on the Roadblock card.

    Jaida Parker vs. Kelani Jordan

These two have been circling each other since Jordan’s return from TNA, and the tension escalated last week when Parker intervened after Jordan’s match against Thea Hail. Parker has been one of the most consistent performers on the brand, and Jordan has leaned into an aggressive streak since coming back. This one should hit hard.

Tatum Paxley and Blake Monroe Meet Face-to-Face

The saga of the stolen NXT Women’s North American Championship continues. Paxley tracked Monroe down to a hotel last week and confronted her after weeks of Monroe hiding with the title. Tonight they come face-to-face in the ring at MSG.

NXT Championship Contract Signing: Joe Hendry (c), Ethan Page, Ricky Saints, and Tony D’Angelo

All four men will put pen to paper ahead of their Fatal Four Way for the NXT Championship at Stand & Deliver. D’Angelo went on a rampage two weeks ago that changed the entire title picture. Saints and Page both have unfinished business with the champion. Contract signings in NXT have a strong track record of going sideways, and with four men who genuinely don’t like each other sharing a table in front of the MSG crowd, tonight should be no different.

Road to NXT Stand & Deliver 2026

NXT Stand & Deliver 2026 takes place Saturday, April 4 at The Factory at The District in St. Louis, Missouri. The event will air for free on YouTube in the US.

Tonight is the last opportunity to set the table. The Women’s Championship and Tag Team Championship challengers will be determined tonight, joining a card that already includes Joe Hendry defending the NXT Championship in a Fatal Four Way, Myles Borne defending the North American Championship against a returning Johnny Gargano, and Sol Ruca vs. Zaria in a personal grudge match.

WWE NXT Match Card for March 24, 2026

Here are the matches and segments announced for tonight’s show:

Gauntlet Eliminator — NXT North American Title #1 Contender’s Match: Jackson Drake vs. Dion Lennox vs. Shiloh Hill vs. More Competitors TBA

The winner earns a shot at Myles Borne’s NXT North American Championship at Stand & Deliver. Interim GM Robert Stone announced the match last week, and the field includes three known participants with more expected to be added. Drake comes in as Evolve Champion, Lennox has been one of the brand’s most consistent performers, and Shiloh Hill — the WWE LFG winner — has been on a fast track since arriving on the brand. Whoever survives gets a title shot on April 4.

NXT Tag Team Championship #1 Contenders Tournament Match: Eli Knight & Elio LeFleur vs. The Culling

The tag team tournament continues tonight with another semifinal. Robert Stone announced the tournament on the March 10 episode, with the finalists set to clash at NXT Roadblock and the winners earning a title shot against The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor & Ricky Smokes) for the NXT Tag Team Championship at Stand & Deliver.

    Ricky Saints vs. Tony D’Angelo

This one has been building for weeks. After Tony D upended Joe Hendry, Ricky Saints, and Ethan Page all in one night on the March 17 show, the NXT landscape shifted. Saints gets his shot at D’Angelo here, though the bigger question is whether Joe Hendry finds a way to insert himself into the Stand & Deliver title picture before the night is over.

    Thea Hail vs. Kelani Jordan

Thea Hail and Kelani Jordan had a tense backstage exchange last week after Jordan told Hail she needs to be more selfish to accomplish anything in NXT. Hail responded by reminding everyone she just got tapped out — and now she gets a chance to back it up in the ring. Jordan has been positioning herself as a more calculating competitor since her fallout with NXT following the NXT vs. TNA Showdown.

    Tag Team Match

Lainey Reid & Fallon Henley vs. Wren Sinclair & Kendal Grey

There’s plenty of unfinished business in the Fatal Influence orbit. Wren Sinclair dethroned Fallon Henley for the Women’s Speed Championship last week, and Reid has been a key part of the Fatal Influence story. Sinclair and Grey represent a dangerous pairing against them tonight.

Sol Ruca and Zaria Meet Face-to-Face

The blowup between Sol Ruca and Zaria has been months in the making, culminating in Zaria turning on her partner two weeks ago during a title match, costing Ruca a shot at the NXT Women’s Championship. Tonight they get in the same room. Whether this ends with a match announcement, a brawl, or both, it’s the most personal story heading into Stand & Deliver.

Road to NXT Stand & Deliver 2026

NXT Stand & Deliver 2026 takes place Saturday, April 4 at The Factory at The District in St. Louis, Missouri. In a break from tradition, this year’s event won’t be held during WrestleMania weekend — giving NXT its own standalone moment two weeks before WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas.

Tonight’s show is essentially the final full build episode. By the end of the night, the North American Championship match should be set, the tag tournament will inch closer to its conclusion, and the women’s division will have more clarity heading into what looks like a stacked card for April 4.

Here are the matches and segments announced for tonight\’s show:

    NXT Women\’s Championship Match

    Jacy Jayne (c) vs. ZARIA

ZARIA earned this shot by turning on Sol Ruca during last week\’s Women\’s Championship match, attacking her former partner before the bell and handing Jayne the win. After the match, ZARIA confronted Jayne backstage and demanded a title shot. GM Robert Stone made it official, acknowledging he didn\’t want to reward the behavior — but Jayne accepted on her own terms.

    Six-Man Tag Team Match

Hank Walker, Tank Ledger & Shiloh Hill vs. The Vanity Project (Jackson Drake, Brad Baylor & Ricky Smokes)

This match stems from a brawl on last week\’s NXT. Hill teams up with former NXT Tag Champions Hank & Tank to take on the Vanity Project, who captured the NXT Tag Team titles on the February 24 episode with a little help from Tony D\’Angelo.

Women\’s Speed #1 Contendership Tournament Match

    Wren Sinclair vs. Nikkita Lyons

The winner advances further in the tournament toward a shot at the Women\’s Speed Championship, which was vacant after Elio LeFleur captured the men\’s Speed title on February 24.

Izzi Dame & Tatum Paxley Face-Off

NXT Women\’s North American Champion Izzi Dame and challenger Tatum Paxley will come face-to-face ahead of their title match at Vengeance Day. Dame has warned Paxley to keep things strictly professional — any attack will result in Dame pulling out of the defense entirely.

Jaida Parker & Blake Monroe Face-Off

Jaida Parker and Blake Monroe have one final confrontation before their match at Vengeance Day this Saturday.

    Ricky Saints\’ \”Absolute Experience\” Concert

Ricky Saints hosts a special concert segment ahead of his NXT Championship match against Joe Hendry (c) at Vengeance Day. Saints did not need to qualify for the title shot and has been building momentum on his way to the biggest match of his career.

Road to NXT Vengeance Day 2026

NXT Vengeance Day 2026 takes place Saturday, March 7 at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, streaming live on Peacock in the U.S. and Netflix internationally at 7 PM ET.

Tonight\’s go-home show is the last chance for every competitor on the card to make a statement before Saturday. With the NXT Championship, Women\’s North American title, and several heated rivalries on the line, expect a charged atmosphere heading into the weekend.

WWE NXT Match Card for February 17, 2026

Here are the matches and segments announced for tonight\’s show:

NXT North American Champion Ethan Page vs. Shiloh Hill

\”All Ego\” Ethan Page puts his NXT North American Championship on the line tonight with history on the line. Page is currently tied with Oba Femi at 10 title defenses in a single reign, and a victory tonight would give him sole possession of the record. Page is also closing in on Femi\’s mark of 273 days as the longest-reigning North American Champion, currently sitting at approximately day 266 of his reign.

The opportunity came about when Page approached interim General Manager Robert Stone looking for a challenger. Shiloh Hill, the WWE LFG Season 2 winner who debuted in December, was in the right place at the right time and was awarded the match. While Hill is a massive underdog, an upset here would be a career-making moment for the newcomer.

    Lola Vice vs. Kelani Jordan

This bitter feud comes to a head tonight. Kelani Jordan has been making Lola Vice\’s life miserable for months, dating back to Jordan attacking Sol Ruca during the Women\’s Iron Survivor Challenge at NXT Deadline. Two weeks ago, Jordan smashed Vice\’s hand with a ladder, costing her a shot at the North American title. Last week, Jordan ambushed Vice while she was being checked by WWE medical staff.

Vice will be looking for payback tonight, but the question is whether her injured hand will be a factor. Jordan has proven she\’ll stop at nothing to get under Vice\’s skin, and this grudge match could get ugly in a hurry.

NXT Tag Team Championship #1 Contenders Fatal Four-Way: Hank & Tank vs. OTM vs. The Vanity Project vs. The Culling

Four teams clash tonight with a future NXT Tag Team Championship opportunity on the line. The winning team will challenge DarkState\’s Osiris Griffin and Saquon Shugars for the titles at next week\’s NXT show in Atlanta on February 24. The match was originally set as a triple threat, but The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes) earned their way in after defeating Hank & Tank (Hank Walker and Tank Ledger) last week. OTM (Bronco Nima and Lucien Price) and The Culling (Shawn Spears and Niko Vance) round out the field.

WWE Men\’s Speed Championship #1 Contenders Match: Elio LeFleur vs. Eli Knight

The Speed Championship tournament reaches its finals tonight. Elio LeFleur advanced through the bracket with a win over Charlie Dempsey, while Eli Knight earned his spot by defeating Josh Briggs last week. The winner earns a future opportunity for the WWE Men\’s Speed Championship.

    Tony D\’Angelo vs. Cutler James

Tony D\’Angelo continues his campaign of revenge against DarkState tonight. \”The Don\” has been on a warpath since his shocking return at NXT Deadline in December, targeting members of the faction that he blames for the destruction of his family. D\’Angelo took out Dion Lennox and Cutler James with ease last week, and now faces James in a sanctioned singles match. This marks one of D\’Angelo\’s first televised matches since returning from a months-long hiatus that began in July 2025.

  • WWE NXT Atlanta Show Moved to Orlando Over Permit Issue

WWE NXT\’s show at Center Stage in Atlanta, originally scheduled for February 24, 2026, is reportedly being moved to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando due to a local permit issue.

The permit issue stems from the parking lot adjacent to Center Stage, which WWE\’s production trucks previously used. According to PWInsider, the lot was sold, making broadcast production \”far harder and less feasible.\”

    Production Challenges Force NXT Relocation

WWE has not formally announced the move, but is expected to do so soon. Center Stage\’s official site still lists the NXT live event for February 24, 2026, featuring NXT North American Champion Ethan Page, NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne, Ricky Saints, Joe Hendry, and Blake Monroe.

Matches advertised for the February 24 NXT show include Jacy Jayne vs. Sol Ruca for the NXT Women’s Championship, Osiris Griffin and Saquon Shugars defending the NXT Tag Team Titles, and Jasper Troy defending the WWE Speed Championship.

Tonight\’s top match features a unique stipulation where whichever wrestler scores the pinfall or submission becomes the number one contender to the NXT Women\’s Championship. Tag team partners must work together while simultaneously competing for their individual

Grudge Match: Jaida Parker vs. Blake Monroe

Recent tensions between Parker and Monroe finally come to a head tonight in what\’s being billed as a grudge match. The animosity between these two competitors escalated following a prior ambush angle that has left both women seeking retribution.

WWE Speed Title #1 Contender Tournament Match: Josh Briggs vs. Eli Knight

The tournament to determine the next challenger for the WWE Speed Championship continues tonight as Josh Briggs takes on Eli Knight. The winner advances in the bracket and moves one step closer to earning a shot at the new Men\’s Speed Championship.

Hank & Tank (Hank Walker & Tank Ledger) vs. The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor & Ricky Smokes)

The men\’s tag team division sees potential movement tonight as Hank & Tank face The Vanity Project. With NXT\’s tag division continuing to develop, victories in matches like these can significantly alter the pecking order and championship picture.

Both teams will be looking to make a statement and position themselves for future opportunities in NXT\’s competitive tag team landscape.

WWE NXT Match Card for February 3, 2026

Here are the matches and segments announced for tonight\’s show:

NXT Championship Ladder Match (Vacant Title)

Ricky Saints vs. Shiloh Hill vs. Sean Legacy vs. Jackson Drake vs. Dion Lennox vs. Keanu Carver vs. Joe Hendry

Oba Femi vacated the NXT Championship after New Year\’s Evil, opening the door for Ava to announce a multi-man Ladder Match on February 3 to crown a new champion. Tonight\’s match features Ricky Saints, Shiloh Hill, Sean Legacy, Jackson Drake, Dion Lennox, Keanu Carver, and Joe Hendry, all of whom fought through qualifiers (or, in Saints\’ case, received a bye as the former champion due a rematch) to earn their spots.

Saints is loudly claiming he ran Trick Williams, Je\’Von Evans, and Oba Femi out of NXT, Hill brings LFG winner momentum, Legacy and Hendry represent the WWE ID/EVOLVE pipeline, and Carver, Lennox, and Drake give the match a blend of power, brawling, and chaos. With Tony D\’Angelo repeatedly ambushing qualifiers and getting himself \”arrested\” during the build, there\’s a cloud over whether he\’ll respect Ava\’s authority or try to influence who walks out as the new face of NXT.

    TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championship

ZaRuca (Sol Ruca & Zaria) vs. The Elegance Brand (c)

NXT\’s partnership with TNA continues as Sol Ruca and Zaria—collectively ZaRuca—cash in their status as newly crowned number one contenders to challenge The Elegance Brand for the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championship. ZaRuca secured the title shot by winning a contenders match, showcasing fast-paced double-team offense and instant chemistry that have quickly made them a fan-favorite duo.

Heather and M by Elegance, meanwhile, have leaned on arrogance, veteran savvy, and outside help throughout their reign, vowing that no upstart team from NXT will be the ones to dethrone them. A ZaRuca win would not only send TNA gold to NXT but also instantly cement Ruca and Zaria as cross-brand players heading into WrestleMania season.

NXT Women\’s North American Championship — Triple Threat

Izzi Dame (c) vs. Lola Vice vs. Thea Hail

Izzi Dame defends the NXT Women\’s North American Championship in a Triple Threat against former champion Thea Hail and dangerous striker Lola Vice after both women marched into Ava\’s office demanding a title opportunity. Hail is chasing redemption after losing the belt and wants to prove her first reign wasn\’t a fluke, while Vice comes in with the psychological edge of a recent non-title win over Izzi.

Ava\’s decision to put both challengers into the match means the champion doesn\’t have to be pinned to lose the title, stacking the odds and giving this defense real \”survive and escape\” energy for Izzi. Add the ongoing tension with Tatum Paxley lurking around the division, and this could easily spiral into the kind of chaotic finish that reshuffles the hierarchy of NXT\’s newest women\’s title.

    Tony D\’Angelo Explains His Actions

After repeatedly attacking NXT Championship Ladder Match qualifiers—including Shiloh Hill, Sean Legacy, and others—Tony D\’Angelo turned himself over to Ava\’s security and was \”arrested,\” leaving his motives deliberately murky. Tonight, \”The Don\” has promised to explain why he targeted potential future champions and what his endgame is now that the NXT title is vacant and up for grabs. Given his history of manipulating the main event picture from the shadows, any explanation could double as a veiled threat toward whoever climbs the ladder and leaves with the gold.

    Key Storylines Heading Into Tonight

    • The NXT Championship is up for grabs: With Oba Femi departing, the vacant title creates a wide-open opportunity for any of seven hungry competitors to stake their claim as the new face of NXT.
    • TNA-NXT partnership continues: ZaRuca has a chance to bring TNA gold to NXT, continuing the cross-promotional storylines between the two brands.
    • Tony D\’Angelo\’s master plan: The Don\’s \”arrest\” and attacks on ladder match qualifiers suggests something bigger is brewing. His explanation tonight could reshape the entire NXT main event scene.
    • Women\’s North American Championship chaos: With two challengers and Tatum Paxley lurking, Izzi Dame faces her toughest defense yet.

Road to NXT Stand & Deliver 2026

NXT Stand & Deliver 2026 takes place Saturday, April 18 in Las Vegas, Nevada during WrestleMania 42 weekend—NXT\’s biggest event of the year.

With no NXT Premium Live Event scheduled for February, tonight\’s episode carries even greater weight. Major title changes are happening on television rather than PLE, making tonight\’s Ladder Match a true main event moment. Whoever climbs the ladder and claims the NXT Championship will carry the brand through WrestleMania season and into Stand & Deliver, where NXT traditionally showcases its top talent on the grandest stage.

  • Chelsea Green Volunteers to be NXT General Manager

Chelsea Green has thrown her hat into the ring for the vacant NXT General Manager position, using her signature comedic approach to make her pitch.

The two-time United States Champion made her intentions clear in a playful tweet, stating: \”Hey @WWENXT I\’ll be your new GM. I know a thing or two about running a continent… How hard can one little company be ?????\”

Green\’s tweet comes after Ava vacated the NXT General Manager role on January 30, 2026. Known for her outspoken \”Karen\” persona, Green has a history of challenging authority figures like Adam Pearce.

Currently performing on SmackDown and part of The Green Regime stable with Piper Niven and Alba Fyre, Green holds both the Women\’s United States Championship and AAA World Mixed Tag Team titles.

As of now, WWE has not officially responded to Green\’s GM candidacy. NXT continues to air on The CW Network in the United States and on Netflix internationally.

    NXT Championship Ladder Match Qualifiers

    Additional qualifiers to be announced

    Key Storylines Heading Into Tonight

The NXT Championship picture: Oba Femi\’s shocking decision to vacate the NXT Championship at New Year\’s Evil has thrown the brand into chaos. A six-man ladder match on February 3 will crown a new champion. Sean Legacy earned his spot by defeating Eli Knight, while Shiloh Hill overcame Josh Briggs. Four more qualifiers remain to be determined over the next week.

North American Championship scene: Ethan Page continues his dominant reign as NXT North American Champion after successfully defending against debuting star Elio LeFleur last week. Who will step up to challenge Page next?

TNA partnership continues: ZaRuca have earned the next shot at the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Titles after winning a three-way contender\’s match. The NXT-TNA crossover has brought fresh matchups and talent exchanges to both brands.

    Road to Royal Rumble 2026

Tonight\’s NXT is the last chance for developmental stars to make an impression before the biggest event of the year\’s opening stretch. Expect big moments and statements as NXT\’s best position themselves for the Road to WrestleMania.

Follow SEScoops for live coverage and results from tonight\’s WWE NXT. We\’ll have match-by-match updates as they happen.

  • Sean Legacy Officially Joins WWE NXT Roster

Sean Legacy has officially joined the WWE NXT roster. Shawn Michaels announced the signing on X, welcoming Legacy and booking him in a qualifying match for the NXT Championship ladder match against Eli Knight on the January 20, 2026 episode of WWE NXT.

Legacy was first announced as a WWE ID prospect in November 2024. He has previously competed on NXT TV, facing opponents including Jackson Drake, Je\’Von Evans, and Ashante Adonis.

The winner of Legacy vs. Knight advances to the ladder match for the NXT Championship. This immediate push highlights Legacy\’s rapid rise from WWE ID and Evolve events to the main NXT brand.

Legacy\’s NXT debut match airs tonight, marking a significant step in his WWE career.

  • WWE NXT Preview: Vacant NXT Title, Joe Hendry vs. Lennox (Jan 13, 2026)

WWE NXT returns to The CW on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. The show comes one week after the shocking conclusion of New Year\’s Evil, where Oba Femi vacated the NXT Championship by leaving the title in the ring following his successful defense against Leon Slater.

What Happens With the Vacant NXT Championship?

The biggest question heading into Tuesday\’s show is what becomes of the NXT Championship. Femi walked away from the title after defeating TNA X-Division Champion Leon Slater in the main event of New Year\’s Evil, leaving the NXT Universe stunned. General Manager Ava was shown discussing recent NXT call-ups backstage before Robert Stone interrupted, asking if she had seen what Oba had done.

With Femi having recently faced WWE Champion Cody Rhodes at Saturday Night\’s Main Event, a main roster move is imminent for \”The Ruler.\” How NXT determines its next champion will be addressed on this week\’s show.

Joe Hendry vs. Dion Lennox – No Disqualification Match

Newly signed WWE star Joe Hendry finally gets his hands on DarkState leader Dion Lennox in a No Disqualification match. The stipulation came after DarkState attacked Hendry during his New Year\’s Eve Eve concert on last week\’s NXT.

General Manager Ava agreed to the match on the condition that Hendry find backup to neutralize the rest of DarkState. Hendry approached OTM backstage, convincing them that helping him could benefit their pursuit of the NXT Tag Team Championships. Will OTM successfully keep DarkState at bay, or will numbers still prove to be Hendry\’s downfall?

NXT Men\’s Speed Championship: Jasper Troy (c) vs. Tavion Heights

Tavion Heights earned this title opportunity by winning the recent Speed Championship tournament. Heights has been on a roll heading into this championship match, and he\’ll look to dethrone Jasper Troy for the Speed title. Troy has been a fighting champion, and this should be a fast-paced contest between two of NXT\’s rising athletes.

TNA International Championship: Channing \”Stacks\” Lorenzo (c) vs. Shiloh Hill

The TNA and NXT crossover continues as Stacks defends the TNA International Championship against Shiloh Hill. Hill earned this opportunity after defeating Stacks and his partner in a mixed tag team match. The big man has looked impressive since arriving in NXT and could add championship gold to his resume with a victory here.

    Lola Vice vs. Kelani Jordan

The rivalry between Lola Vice and Kelani Jordan continues to escalate following their confrontation at New Year\’s Evil. Both women have been at odds in recent weeks, and Tuesday\’s bout should help determine who moves further up the NXT women\’s division ladder.

Izzi Dame to Address Her Title Win

New NXT Women\’s North American Champion Izzi Dame is expected to address the NXT Universe following her shocking title victory at New Year\’s Evil. Dame captured the championship in surprising fashion, and her former friend Tatum Paxley will certainly have something to say about the new champion\’s rise.

    Looking Ahead

    • How will the vacant NXT Championship be determined?
    • Can Joe Hendry overcome DarkState in No DQ rules?
    • What\’s next for Izzi Dame as Women\’s North American Champion?
    • Will OTM\’s alliance with Hendry lead them to tag team gold?

WWE NXT airs live Tuesday at 8/7c on The CW, with international fans able to watch on Netflix.

  • Ava Asks Fans for \’Unconventional\’ Ideas to Crown New NXT Champion

NXT General Manager Ava has turned to the NXT Universe for help, asking fans to pitch unconventional ideas on how WWE should crown the next NXT Champion after the title was vacated.

The NXT Championship became vacant after Oba Femi relinquished the title following his successful defense against Leon Slater at New Year\’s Evil. Femi left the championship belt in the ring, signaling his departure from NXT to pursue main roster opportunities.

Rather than simply announcing a tournament or standard title match, Ava publicly asked fans for \”unconventional\” and outside-the-box ideas on how to crown the new champion. She encouraged replies and suggestions from the NXT audience on social media, hinting that NXT may use a non-traditional format or stipulation to determine the next titleholder.

No official match, tournament, or stipulation has been confirmed yet by NXT or WWE.

    What This Means

NXT has often experimented with creative title-deciding matches, including multi-man bouts and tournaments. Ava\’s on-screen role as NXT General Manager gives her storyline authority to shape how championships are decided, and fan engagement via social media has become a regular tool for NXT to gauge interest and generate buzz around major decisions.

Fans could see a unique or first-time-ever stipulation match to determine the new NXT Champion. The angle positions Ava as a fan-facing authority figure who is open to audience input, and NXT writers may incorporate popular fan suggestions into upcoming TV or premium live event plans for the title.

Femi\’s move to the main roster creates an opening for NXT\’s next generation of talent to step into the championship spotlight, continuing WWE\’s tradition of using NXT as a proving ground for future WWE Superstars.

  • NXT Preview for Tonight: Year-End Awards, Ethan Page vs. Moose, Joe Hendry Concert

WWE NXT closes out 2025 tonight with its final episode of the year, featuring the NXT Year-End Awards, a North American Championship defense, and a Joe Hendry New Year\’s Eve Eve concert. The show continues building toward New Year\’s Evil on January 6.

NXT North American Championship: Ethan Page (c) vs. Moose

\”All Ego\” defends against TNA\’s Moose in a clash of veterans. Page has held the title since October, and Moose brings main event power to challenge for the gold.

    Ricky Saints vs. Je\’Von Evans

The NXT Champion faces Evans in non-title action after weeks of back-and-forth about who belongs at the top. Evans pointed to his main roster appearances; Saints says he can\’t keep up.

    Jacy Jayne vs. Wren Sinclair

The Women\’s Champion takes on Sinclair, who earned this match defending Kendal Grey against Fatal Influence. Grey challenges Jayne for the title at New Year\’s Evil.

WWE Speed Men\’s Championship #1 Contender Finals: Lexis King vs. Tavion Heights

The winner earns a shot at Jasper Troy\’s Speed Championship. Heights brings wrestling credentials; King brings underhanded tactics.

    Segments

Joe Hendry New Year\’s Eve Eve Concert: Hendry performs, though DarkState and Tony D\’Angelo may have other plans.

NXT Year-End Awards: Winners announced throughout the show, including Male and Female Superstar of the Year, Match of the Year, and more.

    Looking Ahead

Next week at NXT New Year\’s Evil (January 6, 2026):

    • NXT Championship: Oba Femi (c) vs. Leon Slater
    • NXT Women\’s Championship: Jacy Jayne (c) vs. Kendal Grey
    • NXT Women\’s North American Championship: Thea Hail (c) vs. Blake Monroe
    • Singles Match: Izzi Dame vs. Tatum Paxley

WWE NXT airs tonight at 8/7c on The CW and on Netflix internationally.

  • WWE NXT Preview (12/16): Four Matches Including Fatal 4-Way No. 1 Contender

Live from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida

WWE NXT heads to Orlando for the fallout from Saturday Night\’s Main Event, where the developmental brand proved it can hang with the main roster. With momentum on its side following an impressive showing at SNME, tonight\’s episode will set the tone for the weeks ahead as we inch closer to New Year\’s Evil on January 6.

    Match Card

    • Fatal 4-Way No. 1 Contender\’s Match for the NXT Championship: Dion Lennox vs. Joe Hendry vs. Leon Slater vs. Myles Borne
    • NXT Women\’s North American Championship: Blake Monroe (c) vs. Thea Hail
    • Hank & Tank (Hank Walker & Tank Ledger) vs. OTM (Bronco Nima & Lucien Price)
    • Kendal Grey & Wren Sinclair vs. Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley & Lainey Reid)

Fatal 4-Way No. 1 Contender\’s Match for the NXT Championship

The four Iron Survivor Challenge participants who didn\’t win at Deadline will battle to determine who faces two-time NXT Champion Oba Femi at New Year\’s Evil on January 6. This match was set up after Je\’Von Evans opted to cash in his Iron Survivor victory early on the December 9 episode, only for Ricky Saints to interfere and cost him the match.

Leon Slater brings TNA X Division Championship credibility to the match, having proven himself on the independent scene before arriving in NXT. Joe Hendry has the crowd support behind him, with his entrance music and charisma making him a fan favorite. Myles Borne earned his spot by defeating Trick Williams, showing he can hang with top-tier competition. DarkState\’s Dion Lennox rounds out a stacked field, bringing his faction\’s calculated approach to the ring.

With Oba Femi waiting at New Year\’s Evil, the winner of this match will have just over two weeks to prepare for a shot at the NXT Championship. All four competitors have legitimate paths to victory, making this one of the most unpredictable matches on the card.

NXT Women\’s North American Championship: Blake Monroe (c) vs. Thea Hail

Monroe\’s open challenge last week descended into chaos when the entire women\’s locker room answered the call. Before the match could officially begin, Thea Hail attacked Monroe from behind and locked in a Kimura, forcing Monroe to tap out—but without a referee or bell, no title change occurred.

Monroe complained to General Manager Ava, who promptly booked this official title defense. Hail has come close to championship gold multiple times in NXT and will look to finally break through against Monroe. The Kimura submission that ended last week\’s segment shows Hail has the technical ability to finish the match if she can get Monroe in the same position again.

Monroe will need to be more careful this time around, as Hail has proven she\’s willing to strike first and ask questions later. This represents Hail\’s best opportunity yet to capture championship gold in NXT.

    Hank & Tank vs. OTM

The Belly Boys are back. Hank Walker and Tank Ledger just returned from a successful excursion to Pro Wrestling NOAH where they captured the GHC Tag Team Championships. Upon their return last week, OTM (Bronco Nima & Lucien Price) reminded them they hadn\’t forgotten their pre-Japan attack.

The two teams will finally settle the score tonight. Hank & Tank\’s success in Japan shows they\’ve grown as a team, but OTM has been building momentum stateside. This match will determine which team has the upper hand heading into the new year.

Kendal Grey & Wren Sinclair vs. Fatal Influence

After Jacy Jayne ordered her Fatal Influence stablemates Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid to attack Women\’s Iron Survivor winner Kendal Grey and Wren Sinclair last week, the two teams will collide in tag action tonight.

Grey already has a date with Jayne for the NXT Women\’s Championship at New Year\’s Evil, and this match could provide further momentum heading into that bout. If Grey and Sinclair can overcome Fatal Influence, it would send a message to Jayne that Grey is ready for the championship challenge.

Fatal Influence will look to weaken Grey before her title opportunity, potentially softening her up for Jayne\’s championship defense. This tag match serves as a preview of what\’s to come at New Year\’s Evil.

  • WWE Expands Developmental Roster With New NXT Signings

WWE has reportedly added three new names to its developmental system, with all three athletes reporting to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. According to Mike Johnson of PWInsiderElite.com the new signings include a collegiate track star transitioning from the NIL program and two athletes discovered through recent tryouts.

The most prominent signing is Meghan Walker, a 21-year-old Nebraska Track and Field star. Walker was previously signed to a WWE \”Next In Line\” (NIL) deal, which allows college athletes to monetize their name, image, and likeness while still competing in school. However, she has now fully transitioned into a pro-wrestling role with a WWE Performance Center/NXT developmental contract. Walker was part of the fifth NIL class announced in June 2025, which also featured several notable names:

    • Brock Rechsteiner (son of Scott Steiner and cousin of Bron Breakker)
    • Jacob Henry (son of Mark Henry)
    • TJ Bullard (son of Titus O’Neil)

Other Developmental Signings Walker is joined by two other developmental signings who recently entered the company\’s system:

    • Jessica Bognadov: Described as a Russian pole dancer and gymnast.
    • Cyrus Habibi-Likio: An American football player who took part in the SummerSlam tryouts.

These signings reflect WWE\’s ongoing strategy to recruit elite athletes from diverse sporting backgrounds and build its developmental roster through the NXT and NIL pipelines. The new recruits are expected to begin training immediately at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, working toward their potential in-ring debuts for the NXT brand. NXT is currently building toward its final Premium Live Event of the year, NXT Deadline, which is set for Saturday, December 6.

  • Matt Hardy: AEW Fish Tank Spot Was “Not the Greatest Thing I’ve Seen on TV”

A particular sequence within the recent Jon Moxley vs. Darby Allin I-Quit match at AEW WrestleDream has been the talk of the wrestling world and Matt Hardy has given his viewpoint on the now infamous fish tank spot.

A lot of online discourse regarding the moment where Moxley dunked Allin’s head into a fish tank to intimate he was trying to drown him has had some worried that children may try to replicate that ala former AEW coach as well as producer Sarah Stock. Conversely, some see it as adult oriented entertainment that you should safe guard from your children if you feel so inclined.

Former AEW talent Matt Hardy has given his viewpoint on that spot during a recent episode of his podcast which he is the titular figure of, Extreme Life of Matt Hardy. The concurrent WWE NXT and TNA tag team champion discussed the fallout from AEW’s recent pay-per-view main event and while Matt Hardy prefaced things by saying he saw the spot and it wasn’t the worst thing AEW has done, Hardy said [h/t WrestleTalk],

“Sure it’s not the greatest thing I’ve seen on TV but I mean you can say that from TNA, you can say that from WWE. There’s been incidents that have happened across all these places where there’s been controversial things that kids should not try at home.”

Matt Hardy responds to his own controversy from recent WWE NXT segment

Matt Hardy recently addressed his own controversy, albeit on the far less violent side, but it did still touch on a polarizing situation all the same. The proliferation of artificial intelligence in so many aspects of our day to day lives has now extended to professional wrestling programming. In a recent WWE NXT segment, Matt and Jeff Hardy tapped back into their TNA personas of Broken Matt and Brother Nero, respectively, as they were seen entering the Lake of Reincarnation.

AI was utilized in that segment for some of the transformative moments that the Hardys experienced there and Matt has given his thoughts on what can be an often polarizing topic about the artistic merit of using AI. It seemed like Matt Hardy found it to be an intriguing use of the technology in the context of showing unique perspectives in the segment. This was expressed on the same episode of the podcast he is the figurehead of but Matt Hardy also respectfully mentioned that the utilization of that technology was not for him or of his interest.
