  • Unlikely Name Defends LA Knight Over Elimination Chamber Botch

Logan Paul has come to the defence of LA Knight.

The Elimination Chamber PPV did not go as planned for the former Million Dollar champion. Not only did he fail to win the cage match but his botched top rope dive during the main event became one of the biggest points of discussion among the fans coming out of the show.

The YouTube star, who eliminated Knight from the match, talked about the whole thing on the latest episode of his podcast. Logan Paul noted that he is not a fan of the 43-year-old but explained that the slip was not his fault:

“What I’m about to say is the last thing I want to do. I don’t want to do this, bro. Because I despise LA Knight and everything he stands for. Because let’s be honest, he doesn’t stand for anything. He stands for one affirmative word. Yeah, we get it, bro. Shut up. I don’t want to say this, bro, but that particular botch that LA Knight had is not his fault.\”

You Have No Idea: Logan Paul

LA Knight was not the only one who found it hard to deal with the slippery ropes as Finn Balor had a similar accident during his match with CM Punk earlier in the night. Logan Paul explained that being in the main event meant that the ring had been exposed to a lot of action before them:

\”And I was in the ring. I was watching it go down live, and I can feel the ropes before I do the jumps. They are so slippery and oily. You have no idea. Especially when you’re the last match of the night because it’s been used, right? And all these oily, sweaty wrestlers are just greasing these ropes up. So by the time it’s 10:00 p.m. at night and you’re the last group to go, the ropes are soaking wet.\”

Logan Paul got 3 eliminations in the chamber match and he looked to be a favorite to win the bout. This was until Seth Rollins made a surprise appearance and took out the Vision star. You can check out what the company is planning for The Architect for WrestleMania here.

  • AJ Lee Reacts To Becoming Champion Again After 11 Years

AJ Lee feels amazing at being champion again.

The new Women\’s Intercontinental Champion took part in the Elimination Chamber post-show after making Becky Lynch tap out for the title at the PPV event. She was asked how it felt to become a champion in wrestling again after 11 years, and Lee mentioned that her first title in the company was also in Chicago:

\”Amazing. It feels right to have done this in Chicago. I don\’t know if you guys remember, but my first title, the Divas title, was won here in Chicago. I felt like it took forever to get her to actually tap. It was the longest moment of my life, just waiting to see if she would give up, and she did. It\’s surreal to, 11 years later, be a champion again.”

The Best Thing That Ever Happened To Me: AJ Lee

Both AJ Lee and CM Punk paid tribute to their dog Larry through their gear at the show. Punk wore a Larry Forever jacket while Lee had a graphic of the same effect on her shorts. When asked about it, the new champion said that she will never forget Larry and will never love anyone again in the same way:

\”Oh my gosh, Larry is the best thing that ever happened to me. He is the love of our lives. I appreciate you guys bringing signs out for him all the time. I will never forget him; I will never love again the same way. But thank you guys so much for loving him.\”

The show tonight also featured a lot of surprises, including the return of Seth Rollins. You can check out what WWE might be planning for the former World Champion after tonight here.

  • Triple H Comments On Danhausen\’s WWE Debut

Triple H says we\’re in for a fun time.

The WWE Chief Content Officer did not appear in front of the crowd at the Elimination Chamber post-show, but he did have a backstage interview. The Game first talked about things such as the announced championship match between Drew McIntyre and Cody Rhodes and more.

After covering the bigger headlines, Jackie Redmond asked the WWE executive if there was anything else he wanted to say. Triple H then brought up Danhausen\’s debut, saying that fans are going to have a blast with him:

“Me not commenting on the crate, and Danhausen — ah, Michael Cole got a nice bucket of teeth. I think we’re in for a fun time. Whatever it is, it’s gonna be a blast.”

The former AEW star made his WWE debut tonight, after becoming a free agent on Saturday morning. He popped up from the mystery crate that had been shown on WWE programming over the last few weeks.

The mystery crate travelled through both SmackDown and Raw before the reveal. So it\’s possible that the comedy star will remain a free agent, appearing on both brands instead of joining one show permanently.

  • Backstage News on Seth Rollins Plans After Elimination Chamber Return (Report)

Seth Rollins\’ WrestleMania opponent is not set in stone.

The Architect made his surprise return to the company at tonight\’s Elimination Chamber PPV, using a dummy mystery man to distract the security so he can attack Logan Paul.

BodySlam+ provided an update on the plans for the former World Champion after the show. They couldn\’t confirm if Rollins has been cleared for action, but said that he is expected to compete at WrestleMania, as tonight\’s setup indicated.

The report also suggested that his opponent for Mania is not set in stone, as WWE is hopeful that Bron Breakker will have recovered from his hernia surgery in time for the Show of Shows.

If the former NXT Champion is unable to get the medical clearance, the likely plan is for Logan Paul to face the former Shield Member in a match instead.

The person under the mask from SmackDown was revealed to be Don Furio, an indie wrestler who trained under Seth at his Black and Brave Wrestling Academy. While the dummy mystery man from the PPV is yet to be identified, there is a possibility of him being connected to Rollins as well.

It would be interesting to see if the company utilizes both these talents in the Visionary\’s upcoming feud against Paul Heyman and his group or if their appearance was one-off.

  • Drew McIntyre vs. Cody Rhodes WWE Title Match Announced After Elimination Chamber

Cody Rhodes is getting his title shot after all.

The Men\’s Elimination Chamber match that main evented tonight\’s PPV was full of chaos. Logan Paul first got three eliminations in the bout, pinning Je\’Von Evans, LA Knight, and Trick Williams.

The YouTube star himself was then eliminated by Cody Rhodes; however, thanks to a returning Seth Rollins, who stomped Paul before revealing his identity.

Drew McIntyre then showed up once again to stop Cody from winning the match. Despite eating an RKO and Cross Rhodes, the WWE Champion seemed to have gotten his wish as Randy won the match after pinning his former protege.

Though Nick Aldis had different plans, as he made an appearance on the Elimination Chamber post-show. Not being happy with Drew\’s actions, the SmackDown General Manager announced that Cody will get his title shot at the next episode of the show:

\”Drew, you seem to be so hell-bent on preventing Cody Rhodes to get another shot at you. Well, guess what? This Friday night, on SmackDown, it is Drew McIntyre vs. Cody Rhodes for the WWE Championship and that\’s all I have to say about it.\”

The Scottish Psychopath came out to confront Aldis after this but the match was made. McIntyre was then escorted out by the security.

  • Randy Orton Wins Men\’s Elimination Chamber

Randy Orton is going to WrestleMania.

Tonight\’s Elimination Chamber PPV featured a number of surprises, including Seth Rollins making his return to the company to take out Logan Paul in the cage match.

Paul had eliminated Trick Williams, Je\’Von Evans, and LA Knight before his own elimination. So Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton were the only two left in the match after Rollins\’ appearance.

Drew McIntyre then showed up once again to try and stop the American Nightmare from winning the bout. This time, Cody was able to get the upper hand with help from The Viper.

Orton delivered an RKO to McIntyre, followed by a Cross Rhodes from Cody. Just as Rhodes was recovering from the move, however, Randy delivered an RKO to his former protégé as well, pinning the AEW co-founder for the win.

The victory earns Randy Orton a match against Drew at WrestleMania 42, leaving the future of Cody in question. There have been some rumblings of the title match potentially being turned into a triple threat, and we will have to see if Rhodes is able to find his way back into the title picture somehow before the show of shows.

  • Seth Rollins Makes Surprise Return At Elimination Chamber

    Seth Rollins is back.

The Elimination Chamber PPV tonight saw Logan Paul dominating the match after a lot of initial punishment.  He got three back-to-back eliminations in the form of Je\’Von Evans, LA Knight, and Trick Williams.

A masked man showed up at ringside and started climbing the steel structure after this but he was quickly taken out by the security. Adam Pearce pulled his mask off and he was revealed to be another unknown name not associated with WWE.

    Seth Rollins Returns

This wasn\’t the last surprise of the night, as yet another man dressed in all black showed up after this, gaining entry into the Chamber.

The new man delivered a stomp to Logan Paul, allowing Cody Rhodes to pin the former US Champion. The guy then removed his mask to reveal himself as none other than Seth Rollins.

The Architect stared down at The American Nightmare for a second before retreating through the crowd as the match continued. It\’s unknown if Rollins has been cleared for action fully, or we will have to wait some more before he can compete in a match. You can check out the details of the unexpected ending to the Chamber here.

  • Logan Paul Earns Elimination Chamber Spot After Mystery Man Reveal

Logan Paul is going to the Elimination Chamber.

WWE had made a singles match between The Maverick and Jacob Fatu to determine the final contestant for the upcoming cage match after Jey Uso was attacked by a mystery assailant before this week\’s episode of SmackDown.

The match that main-evented the PPV go-home show was going in the direction everyone expected when Paul Heyman and Austin Theory interfered in the bout and the masked man once again showed up to cause a distraction.

This time, however, Logan Paul was able to get a shot at the mystery person. The former US Champion went on to pull his mask off, but the face behind it was not anyone from the current WWE roster. He was then taken away by the security.

Fatu looked to take advantage of this situation. He almost had the match won when Logan got back into the ring but Drew McIntyre showed up at the last minute and delivered a cheap shot to Jacob.

The show finally ended with Logan Paul picking up the victory and earning himself the final spot in the Elimination Chamber match. He will now compete against Je\’Von Evans, Trick Williams, Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes and LA Knight for a shot at Drew McIntyre\’s WWE title at WrestleMania 42.
