Tiffany Stratton Reveals Backstage Wardrobe Malfunction

WWE Women’s United States Champion Tiffany Stratton revealed that she suffered a wardrobe malfunction in Gorilla Position just moments before making her entrance for a recent match.

During her Twitch stream, Stratton explained that her gear broke during a commercial break while she was warming up. The timing left almost no room to fix the issue before she was scheduled to walk through the curtain.

“In gorilla, like two minutes before I go in and wrestle, it was a commercial break and I was warming up—and my strap broke off my gear literally a minute and a half before I was supposed to go out,” Stratton said.

The situation escalated quickly. Stratton said she nearly had to wrestle in her merch shirt instead of her ring gear. The outfit in question was her butterfly top with white, blue, and pink accents.

“So I screamed, ‘My strap just broke!’ And I almost had to wrestle in my merch shirt. We ended up tying it up—it was the butterfly top, white gear with the blue and the pink,” she explained.

    Backstage Panic Before Entrance

Stratton described the moment as one of the worst she has experienced before performing. She said everyone in Gorilla Position was scrambling to help her fix the gear in time.

“So yeah, that was really scary. Everyone was panicking in gorilla—it was probably the worst day of my life,” Stratton said.

The crew managed to tie the gear together quickly enough for Stratton to make her entrance without changing outfits. She did not specify which match the incident occurred before.

  • Tiffany Stratton Almost Had A Very Different WWE Name

Tiffany Stratton Almost Had A Very Different WWE Name

Tiffany Stratton revealed on a Twitch stream that WWE almost named her Veronica Swanson, and that she personally considered going by Darby so she could be nicknamed the Darby Doll.

“So, it was between Tiffany Stratton or Veronica Swanson. Do you guys think I look like a Veronica? Veronica Swanson. But the name I would like, I actually thought about this a long time ago and I’m like, ‘Why didn’t I put it down?’ I thought about doing the name Darby, so I could be called the Darby Doll, but I don’t think they would have gone for that. I’m really happy with Tiffany Stratton. It’s my mom’s name, I like the name Tiffany a lot.”

Stratton also described a scary moment from a SmackDown match a couple of months ago when a moonsault went wrong.

“So there was a bump that I actually did to myself, it wasn’t from someone else. It was a backflip, it was a moonsault off the top to the floor. I don’t remember who it was against but I did a moonsault and I was flipping way too fast and my head whipped, my head hit the ground really hard and I blacked out for a second. I didn’t know where I was.”

She also named her dream triple threat match as a bout against Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY.

Tiffany Stratton Addresses ‘Craziest’ Rumor Behind WWE Release

WWE Women’s United States Champion Tiffany Stratton recently snubbed a long-standing rumor involving former WWE star Giovanni Vinci.

The speculation claimed Vinci was released by WWE for allegedly flirting with Stratton, who was dating Ludwig Kaiser at the time.

During a recent Twitch stream, Stratton dismissed the rumor entirely and expressed support for Vinci’s future endeavors.

“You guys, that may be the craziest one I’ve ever heard. That did not happen. It is not true. There is no truth to that. I hope he’s doing amazing. I heard he just signed with TNA. He’s going to kill it. Absolutely no truth to that. A complete false accusation.”

Giovanni Vinci’s WWE Run and Release

Vinci was officially released by WWE last year as part of a round of talent cuts. Before his singles run as Giovanni Vinci, he competed alongside Kaiser and GUNTHER as part of Imperium.

The group removed Vinci from their ranks on the June 10, 2024 episode of WWE Raw, when GUNTHER and Kaiser attacked him and kicked him out of Imperium. During his time with the faction, Vinci held the NXT Tag Team Championship once with Kaiser.

  • Tiffany Stratton Hopes to Get in the Ring With Paige After WWE Return

Tiffany Stratton Hopes to Get in the Ring With Paige After WWE Return

Tiffany Stratton has expressed a desire to share the ring with Paige following her emotional WrestleMania 42 return.

Speaking on the Battleground podcast, Stratton praised the women’s matches at WrestleMania 42 across the board before singling out Paige’s surprise appearance as one of the highlights of the weekend.

“I am so happy for all the women. I feel like we’ve come such a long way. We had Liv and Raquel, we had Rhea and Jade, we had the tag match, Paige came back. What an amazing pop, what an amazing moment. That was so cool to watch and then she killed it in the ring. I’m just so happy for everybody. I hope to get in the ring with Paige too,” Stratton said.

Paige returned to WWE at WrestleMania 42 night one, replacing an injured Nikki Bella to team with Brie Bella and win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. It was her first WWE match since 2017, when a neck injury ended her career with the company. She spent time in AEW as Saraya from 2022 to 2025 before making her way back to WWE earlier this year.

  • Tiffany Stratton On WrestleMania 42 Snub: ‘Leaves Me With Chip On My Shoulder’

Tiffany Stratton On WrestleMania 42 Snub: ‘Leaves Me With Chip On My Shoulder’

Tiffany Stratton was kept off the WrestleMania 42 card last week, but she’s already turned that disappointment into championship gold.

The former NXT Women’s Champion addressed her absence from the company’s biggest show in a new interview, making it clear the snub has only fueled her drive.

Speaking with Joey Karni, Stratton acknowledged the situation wasn’t what she wanted but emphasized her focus on what she can control.

“I feel like my mindset has always been just kind of controlling what I can control, which is making the most out of all my segments, making the most out of my matches, making sure I’m delivering on everything and having really good matches with everybody.”

    Stratton Vows WrestleMania Return

The former NXT Women’s Champion didn’t shy away from admitting her disappointment. Missing WWE’s showcase event wasn’t in her plans, but she’s using it as motivation heading into next year.

“And unfortunately, being on WrestleMania wasn’t in the cards for me this year. However, that just kind of leaves me with a chip on my shoulder for next year, and I’m going to do everything in my power to never let that happen ever again,” she stated.

    New Champion Crowned on SmackDown

That determination paid immediate dividends. On the April 24 episode of SmackDown, Stratton competed in a Women’s United States Championship match against Giulia.

After a competitive bout, Stratton hit the Prettiest Moonsault Ever to secure the victory and capture the Women’s United States Championship. The win came just days after WrestleMania 42 concluded without her on the card.

  • Tiffany Stratton Wins Women’s US Title from Giulia on SmackDown

Tiffany Stratton Wins Women’s US Title from Giulia on SmackDown

Tiffany Stratton defeated Giulia on tonight’s WWE SmackDown from Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas to capture the Women’s United States Championship, ending Giulia’s second reign and claiming her first singles title since vacating the WWE Women’s Championship last year.

The win caps a redemption arc for Stratton, who was conspicuously left off the WrestleMania 42 card last weekend in Las Vegas. According to a report from Self-Made Pro, Stratton had been penciled into an earlier version of the WrestleMania 42 card in a three-way match with Giulia and Jordynne Grace, but those plans were scrapped before the event.

Stratton earned tonight’s title shot by defeating Grace in a No. 1 contender’s match on the April 17 go-home episode of SmackDown, finishing her with the Prettiest Moonsault Ever as Giulia and Kiana James watched from ringside.

    A Long Road Back

Stratton’s path to this moment started with a knee injury suffered in October 2025 that ended her 301-day reign as WWE Women’s Champion. She dropped the title to Jade Cargill at Saturday Night’s Main Event in November before disappearing from television for the remainder of the year.

She returned at the 2026 Royal Rumble, lasting until the final stages before Liv Morgan eliminated her, then competed in the Elimination Chamber match that Rhea Ripley ultimately won. Watching WrestleMania 42 from the sidelines while Cargill defended the Women’s Championship she once held only sharpened the storyline payoff.

    End of Giulia’s Reign

Giulia had held the Women’s United States Championship since the first SmackDown of 2026, when she defeated Chelsea Green for the vacant title. Her second reign with the belt featured a successful defense against Alexa Bliss and a non-title win over Stratton on the March 27 episode of SmackDown, which set up tonight’s eventual rematch with the gold on the line.

Stratton now becomes a two-time singles champion in WWE. With Rhea Ripley capturing the Women’s Championship from Cargill at WrestleMania 42 Night 2, Stratton’s first reign with the United States Title sets up new collision courses across a SmackDown women’s division entering its post-Mania reset.

  • WWE Star On Brock Lesnar’s Retirement: He’s Just A Boy

Tiffany Stratton reacts to Brock Lesnar’s retirement.

The general belief before WrestleMania 42 was that the Beast Incarnate would retire at the SummerSlam PPV, which would be taking place from his hometown of Minneapolis, Minnesota this year. This is why fans were left surprised when the former UFC Champion left his boots in the ring after his loss to Oba Femi at the Show of Shows this past weekend.

The former Women’s Champion who hails from Minnesota as well, was asked how she was feeling about Brock Lesnar’s retirement during a recent interview with Adrian Hernandez. Tiffany Stratton mentioned how the former World Champion got very emotional at the event and claimed that she almost shed a tear herself:

“I don’t know. When I saw Brock unlace his boots, I almost sheded a tear. I was sad for him. He looked like he started crying a little bit too, and I was just… he’s just a boy. It’s his first time living too.”

Hopefully It’s Not His Last: Tiffany Stratton

Though Stratton later expressed the hope that we have not seen the last of Lesnar just yet and he will return to the ring one more time for a proper farewell:

“So hopefully it’s not his last match. Hopefully in SummerSlam in Minnesota, we’ll get to see him. I think that would be iconic—retiring in your hometown. But yeah, I’m really sad, but [also] happy for him.”

Paul Heyman assured Gunther on this week’s Raw that he owes one to the Ring General for taking care of Seth Rollins at WrestleMania. So there’s a way for Gunther to get a match with Lesnar still.

Reports suggest that the former Imperium leader will be entering a title feud with a different top star before that. You can check out more about it here.

  • Ric Flair Reveals WWE Blocked WrestleMania 42 Invite After Threatening Ludwig Kaiser

Ric Flair Reveals WWE Blocked WrestleMania 42 Invite After Threatening Ludwig Kaiser

WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair was not invited to WrestleMania 42 this past weekend, and he has now revealed the reason why.

The 16-time world champion explained that a threatening phone call he made to Ludwig Kaiser roughly a year ago led to WWE keeping him away from the event.

Speaking to Ariel Helwani, ‘Nature Boy’ said that the incident stemmed from comments made during the heated feud between Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton ahead of WrestleMania 41. Tiffany made remarks about Charlotte’s real-life divorces, and ‘The Queen’ responded on television by suggesting Kaiser had been in her DMs.

Phone Call Led to WrestleMania Ban

‘The Nature Boy’ confirmed that WWE made the decision not to extend an invitation to WrestleMania 42 as a direct result of the phone call. He acknowledged that his actions crossed a line with the company.

“I didn’t get invited to WrestleMania this year. I threatened to beat up Tiffany Stratton’s boyfriend last year and I wasn’t allowed to go. A 24-year-old kid, threatened, by a 76-year-old man, and I can’t go to WrestleMania. Are you kidding me? That English kid. He’s going to go as far in wrestling as a gnat. He’ll be a fly on the wall in a year,” Flair said.

Ric Flair said he was angry over remarks made by Tiffany and claimed the comments weren’t genuine. He ended by mocking the Kaiser’s career and called him a “punk.”

“They had that thing where Tiffany made smart remarks about Ashley’s divorces, which we both know she’s not smart enough to have written, somebody gave her the script. He implied that he wouldn’t ‘bum one’ off Ashley. Okay, I need your number, and I got it, because I can get anyone’s number that I want any minute of any day.

I called him and said, ‘When I see you, I’m going to beat the sh*t out of you.’ He went like a little b*tch, told Hunter, and I wasn’t allowed to go. He’s going to really go far in the business. A 76-year-old tells a 24-year-old kid that he’s going to kick his ass and where is he now? Is he even on the roster? Little punk,” Flair said.

WrestleMania 42 took place this past weekend without the Hall of Fame legend in attendance. The two-night event featured multiple championship matches and marquee bouts across both Raw and SmackDown brands.

  • Tiffany Stratton Debunks Tooth Myth, Updates WrestleMania 42 Status

Tiffany Stratton Debunks Tooth Myth, Updates WrestleMania 42 Status

Tiffany Stratton set the record straight on one of the most persistent rumors in wrestling while discussing her WrestleMania 42 status in an appearance on NASCAR All Access with The Schmo during the Penzoil 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

“I did not have a tooth knocked out. Everyone thinks that, but I did not have a tooth knocked out. It was just blood. There was no tooth knocked out.”

WrestleMania 42: Still Waiting for Official Word

The former WWE Women’s Champion has heard the rumors about a potential championship match in Las Vegas, but as of her appearance in March, nothing has been officially confirmed. When asked about her WrestleMania status, Stratton was candid about where things stand.

“I’ve heard those rumors too. And I feel like they’re just rumors because I haven’t really been told anything that I’m on WrestleMania — but we’ll have to wait and see. I hope there’s a championship involved.”

WrestleMania 42 takes place April 18-19 in Las Vegas. The event is shaping up to be one of the biggest shows of the year, with four championship matches already confirmed for the two-night event at Allegiant Stadium.

Behind the Wheel at Las Vegas Motor Speedway

    Las Vegas Motor Speedway

Stratton served as the official pace car driver for the Penzoil 400, a role that came with its own set of nerves. Despite her athletic background, driving at pace car speeds felt faster than expected.

“I got to test drive the pace car and that was kind of scary, not going to lie. I’m supposed to go 55 the whole time and it felt kind of fast.”

The WWE star’s appearance at the race marked yet another crossover moment for professional wrestling into mainstream sports entertainment.

  • Tiffany Stratton on Crazy Fans: The Weird DMs & Bizarre Requests

Tiffany Stratton on Crazy Fans: The Weird DMs & Bizarre Requests

Tiffany Stratton doesn’t shy away from being honest about the unfiltered side of professional wrestling fandom. During her appearance on NASCAR All Access with The Schmo at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, the WWE Champion opened up about some of the strangest fan interactions she receives on social media — and they get weird fast.

    The Unsolicited Request Wave

When it comes to DM culture, Stratton is all too familiar with the pattern. She’s developed a straightforward answer for fans who cross the line.

“I’ve had a lot of people ask for fee pics. I think that’s pretty weird.”

What makes her take refreshing is that she’s not embarrassed or offended — she’s just honest about how often it happens. For someone in her position, inappropriate requests aren’t some rare occurrence; they’re part of the job description as a high-profile female WWE talent.

The Foot Pic Question: A Comedy Gold Moment

When The Schmo pressed her specifically on foot pictures — one of the internet’s most infamous bizarre fan obsessions — Stratton pivoted to humor rather than straight refusal. Her answer was a masterclass in shutting down the request while keeping things light.

“No, I do not send fee pics. Not free — but maybe $9.99, $10.99, $11.99 plus tax. Never. Never.”

The comedic non-answer does two things at once: it makes clear that the answer is absolutely no, while also poking fun at the absurdity of the request itself. It’s the kind of response that shows Stratton has heard this so many times that she’s turned it into a bit.

Why Female Athletes Get the Brunt of It

The reality of being a prominent female wrestler — or any female athlete with a social media presence — is that strange requests, inappropriate DMs, and boundary-crossing behavior come with the territory. Stratton’s willingness to address it publicly on a platform like The Schmo’s show is important. It normalizes the conversation around what female wrestlers deal with behind the scenes.

Most female talent won’t openly talk about the weird stuff their fans send them. Stratton breaking that silence, even with humor, puts a spotlight on something that’s rarely discussed in mainstream wrestling coverage.

  • Tiffany Stratton Comments On Boyfriend Getting Tattoo of Her Eyes

Tiffany Stratton has opened up about her new boyfriend.

The former Women\’s Champion spoke to Adrian Hernandez recently for a new interview. She discussed things such as AJ Styles retiring from active competition, her time away from WWE after losing the women\’s title & her Royal Rumble return.

During the interview, the female star also discussed her relationship with NXT star Shady Elnahas. Tiffany Stratton and Elnahas recently made their relationship public with a photo dump on Instagram. The SmackDown star claimed that it was the perfect way to announce her affections, even if she got some negative reactions to it:

“I’m somebody who, when I really love somebody, I want to show them off. So this was that kind of situation. Of course there’s always going to be backlash.

There are going to be hate comments. There are going to be good comments. I’m not scared of that. I get hate all the time. This is nothing new to me. And I think we’re such a cute couple together. I feel like we really fit. I think we could be relationship goals. A 20-photo dump felt like the perfect way to go.”

He Was All For It: Tiffany Stratton

One of the things that caught fans off guard with the announcement was the fact that Shady Elnahas got a tattoo of Stratton\’s eyes on his left arm. Tiffany revealed that it was actually her idea and the NXT star agreed to it:

“So I actually showed him the idea. He loves tattoos—obviously, he’s all tatted up—so he was all for it. He was like, ‘Heck yeah, I’m going to get your eye tatted on me.’ And let me tell you, if he’s not getting my eye tatted on him, I don’t want it. I don’t want it. That’s all I’ve got to say.”

Tiffany Stratton will be entering the Elimination Chamber match tonight with hopes of getting a title rematch against Jade Cargill at WrestleMania 42. She will face Rhea Ripley, Alexa Bliss, Asuka, Kiana James and Raquel Rodriguez in the bout.

  • Trish Stratus Reacts to Being \”Everyone\’s First Crush\”

Trish Stratus appeared on the red carpet at the WWE 2K26 Creator Fest at WWE Headquarters, and what started as a conversation about her Attitude Era cover appearance turned into one of the most moving moments of the event.

Stratus is featured on the WWE 2K26 Attitude Era Edition cover alongside Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, and other legends of the era. For her, being on a game cover again — over 20 years after her last appearance — carried personal weight she didn\’t expect.

\”The Attitude Era obviously is a special time. It gets acknowledged. It gets its props. But the fact that the women of the Attitude Era are getting their props and acknowledged as well — that\’s a big, big thing. And I\’m looking at the last time I was on a cover of the video game, it was about 20 plus years ago on Day of Reckoning, I think it was called. So I\’m on a cover again. Pretty cool.\”

\’The Last One My Mom Got to See\’

The interview took a deeply personal turn when Denise Salcedo brought up Trish\’s match with Tiffany Stratton at WWE Evolution. Stratus opened up about what that night truly meant to her.

\”It was the last [PLE] my mom got to see, and she was not doing well at the time. I remember going, \’No, I can\’t go.\’ I was going to cancel it because I thought I couldn\’t leave her and she\’s like, \’Please go.\’ And to know that she got to see me doing what she loved seeing me do — I\’m so pleased I got to do it.\”

Trish\’s mother Alice passed away in August 2025 following a battle with cancer. The Evolution match was among the final times she saw her daughter perform.

Stratus added that her in-game costume from WWE 2K26 is the same outfit she wore that night, giving the moment a kind of permanence:

\”I\’m in that outfit for the game. So it\’s kind of like it\’s immortalized, which means a lot to me.\”

She also touched on the \”My First Crush\” signing tour she\’s turned into a full business venture — leaning into the affectionate nickname fans have given her for decades.

\”I\’m still their crush. You know what I\’m saying? It wasn\’t like you were [my crush] back when you were. I\’m still their crush. That\’s what\’s cool.\”

  • Tiffany Stratton Talks WWE Return Nerves, New Puppy

Tiffany Stratton is back — and she\’s the first to admit that coming back as the #30 entrant in the Royal Rumble was a unique kind of nerve-wracking.

Speaking with Denise Salcedo at the WWE 2K26 Creator Fest at WWE Headquarters, Stratton gave a candid look at what the night of her return actually felt like from the inside.

\”Having a Rumble return is just so awesome in itself. But I was also number 30, so there\’s a lot of nerves — mostly because there was a solid hour before I could go on.

I\’m just watching all the girls go out, and a lot of them are already done with their day and I haven\’t even gone out yet. That was very nerve-wracking. I was so anxious to just get out there.\”

The payoff, she said, made the wait worth it. \”Once I got out there, it was just so exhilarating and exciting.\”

When Salcedo pressed her on the classic fan debate — is it harder to enter at #1 or #30 — Stratton didn\’t hesitate.

    \”It\’s definitely number 30 [that\’s] the most nerve-wracking — you\’re waiting all that time.\”

Life Off the Road: A New House, a New Puppy & a Fresh Mindset

Stratton\’s return at the Rumble came after months away from WWE television, and she used that time to take care of herself in a way that\’s left her genuinely energized heading into the WrestleMania season.

\”I did a lot of working out. I actually just bought a house recently. I\’ve been furnishing it, getting everything situated. I just bought a puppy. He\’s like eight or nine months old now. His name\’s Crumble, like the cookie. I just kind of been loving life recently. I feel very refreshed. I feel happy to be back. I love my life. I love my home life. I love my job. Everything\’s just amazing right now.\”

She also touched on her home\’s interior vibe: \”It\’s modern, but it\’s kind of European. It\’s kind of country. It\’s kind of a mix of everything, but mostly modern.\”

Since her Rumble return, Stratton has already qualified for the Women\’s Elimination Chamber match, with her name surfacing in WrestleMania 42 title conversations as well.

Going by what she said at Creator Fest, she\’s not just physically ready — she\’s in the best headspace she\’s been in a long time.
