  • First Match Made Official For AEW Dynasty

First Match Made Official For AEW Dynasty

The first match has been confirmed for AEW Dynasty.

The Revolution PPV this past Sunday saw FTR retaining their tag team titles in a highly praised bout against The Young Bucks. Adam Copeland and Christian Cage made their return to the company after the bout and took out the duo of Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler.

This week’s episode of Dynamite then saw The Bucks teaming up with Jack Perry to face the trio of Kazuchika Okada, Rocky Romero, & Trent Beretta in the main event of the show. Nick and Matt Jackson got on the mic after winning the bout.

The brothers talked about their loss on Sunday and, after an emotional promo, vowed to continue pursuing the tag titles. This is when Cope and Christian came out.

The Attitude Era tag team said that they respected The Young Bucks, and so they wanted to make the announcement face-to-face. E&C then revealed that they will be challenging FTR for the tag titles at the upcoming Dynasty PPV from Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, on April 12, 2026.

FTR were the final team to make their entrance, but they quickly got taken out by both opposing teams. Both The Young Bucks and E&C then had a tug of war over the tag title belts that were left in the ring, but in the end, Matt and Nick decided to let things go. The episode concluded with Copeland and Christian standing tall as the Bucks left.

  • Tag Team Makes Surprise AEW Return After A Year

    Private Party is back.

This week\’s episode of Dynamite featured a three-way #1 contenders match for a shot at the tag team championships, with The Young Bucks and Rascalz announced as the first two teams for the bout.

The duo of Isiah Kassidy & Marq Quen made their surprise return during the show as the third and final entry of this bout.

The match was a chaotic one with fast-paced action. In the end, it were the Young Bucks who picked up the victory after pinning Myron Reed with a Meltzer Driver.

This was Private Party\’s first AEW appearance since January last year. They dropped the AEW tag titles to Hurt Syndicate in their last match from the brand. The duo then wrestled one more match for HOG in March before going on a year-long hiatus without any explanation.

FTR are the reigning AEW tag team champions in their third reign. They won the belt from Brodido at Full Gear last year. A date has not been announced for their title defence against the Young Bucks at the moment.

  • Kenny Omega Says He Has To \’Take Care of Something\’

Kenny Omega has teased something ominous.

Last week\’s episode of Dynamite had seen The Young Bucks teaming with the former AEW Champion to defeat The Don Callis Family and finally winning the $1 million reward.

The brothers provided an unfortunate update on their health on this week\’s episode of the Wednesday Night show, however. The Bucks revealed in a backstage segment that they aren\’t cleared to compete at least for the remainder of the year.

Kenny Omega Has Something To Do

The Cleaner then got on the mic and proclaimed that the trio will always have each other\’s backs. Kenny Omega went on to deliver a mysterious message, saying that this gives him the opportunity to take care of something he should have done a while ago:

\”Whether we tag or not, The Elite are The Elite. I\’m always gonna be with these guys, they always got my back and I\’m always gonna have theirs. But maybe this gives me the chance to take care of something that I need to take care of myself. So while you guys [are] resting up, I\’m gonna do something that I think I should have done a little while ago.\”

Omega is currently not booked for a match at the Worlds End PPV this Saturday night. Though it\’s likely that we\’ll get an idea about his new quest before or at the show.

  • The Young Bucks Reveal Thoughts On Potential Chris Jericho Exit

The Youngs Bucks believe that Chris Jericho needs to find his own way.

The AEW Co-founders were recently interviewed by Adam\’s Apple. They talked about things such as how they handle creative disagreements, which stars on the current roster they think are underrated and more.

The duo were also asked about the absence of Chris Jericho from AEW TV and his future. Matt Jackson noted that Y2J belongs in the AEW Mt Rushmore, while Nick Jackson claimed that they want the former World Champion to stay with the promotion but they\’re not sure what he is planning:

\”He’s a founding father, so of course we want him to stay. We’re not sure where he’s at head-space-wise right now, but I know he’s on a break and trying to figure it out on his own. And sometimes you have to let a wrestler like that figure it out on his own.”

Chris Jericho has not been seen on AEW TV since April this year, and his prolonged absence has been the cause for all sorts of rumors. Many people believe that the Attitude Era star is on his way back to WWE for the final chapter of his career.

Tony Khan, however, suggested during a recent interview that Jericho\’s absence has to do with the company having used up all his contracted dates. You can check out his remarks here.

  • The Young Bucks Name The Teams That Have \”Helped Spark\” AEW Tag Division

AEW was founded on the strength of its tag team division, and two of the company\’s founders, The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson), recently shared their thoughts on the current state of tag team wrestling in AEW. Over the past year, several new teams have emerged as major players in the division, bringing new styles and fresh matchups to the forefront. The multi-time former AEW World Tag Team Champions have taken notice of this influx of new talent and believe it has been a significant positive for the entire roster.

During a recent appearance on The Takedown on SI, Matt and Nick Jackson were asked about the recent changes to the tag team division. Matt Jackson specifically singled out two teams that he believes have made a major impact in 2025.

“You know who’s really just caught my eye and the rest of the world’s eye it seems like, is a team like JetSpeed, a team like Brodido, who are the current champions. They came out of nowhere and it has been so fresh. I think the addition of those two teams specifically have really helped spark the tag division in 2025. It’s really helped us out because it’s given us new teams to play with.”

The teams mentioned have both had a major breakout year. JetSpeed, the duo of \”Speedball\” Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight, have impressed fans. The current AEW World Tag Team Champions, Brodido, the unique pairing of Brody King and Bandido, captured the championships at the Forbidden Door pay-per-view in August. Their reign has brought a new dynamic to the top of the division.

The Young Bucks are set for a match of their own at the AEW WrestleDream pay-per-view tomorrow night, Saturday, October 18. The brothers will go up against the reunited Jurassic Express (Jack Perry and Luchasaurus).

  • The Young Bucks Acknowledge The End Of The Elite Faction

On the latest episode of their \”Being The Elite\” YouTube series, The Young Bucks (Matthew & Nicholas Jackson) seemingly confirmed the end of The Elite as a faction, acknowledging that after a year of challenges, the group is now down to just the two of them.

Matt Jackson: “Who’s even in The Elite anymore? Is it? Like Okada is in Don Callis’ family and Jack just turned on us.”

Nick Jackson: “I think it’s just us.”

Matt: “Kenny’s not really around.. Hangman’s kinda doing his own thing.”

    Nick: “Yeah it’s just us.”

With all of their former allies either injured, estranged, or having turned against them, The Young Bucks are now on their own for the first time in years.

The slow dissolution of the group has been a central story in AEW. Former members \”Hangman\” Adam Page and Kenny Omega became estranged after Kazuchika Okada and Jack Perry were brought into the fold. Since then, it\’s all been fractured. Kazuchika Okada has since aligned himself with the rival Don Callis Family.

Jack Perry made his surprise return at the All Out pay-per-view this past Saturday, where he viciously attacked both Matt and Nick. Meanwhile, Kenny Omega is currently out of action with a long-term injury, and \”Hangman\” Adam Page has been focused on his own successful run as the AEW World Champion.

  • Jack Perry Returns At All Out, Attacks Young Bucks, Reunites With Luchasaurus

Jack Perry made a statement with his return to AEW programming at All Out by attacking his former allies The Young Bucks. In the show\’s penultimate match, the Bucks failed to regain the AEW World Tag Team Titles in a four-team ladder match won by reigning champions Brodido.

After the match, the Bucks were frustrated in the ring when Perry appeared. Despite their former partnership, Perry attacked both men, but was quickly overwhelmed. Just as it appeared that Perry would be hit with a V-Trigger, the lights went down and a video aired on the screen showing somebody being resurrected.

This video was hyping up the return of Luchasaurus, who has seemingly ditched his time as Killswitch/Killshot. He fended off the Young Bucks and the duo once known as Jurassic Express hugged in the ring.

It appears that Perry was the one who had warned the Bucks furing a recent episode of Being The Elite. With Perry back and on the same page as Luchasaurus, this reunion could prove disastrous for the former AEW EVPs.

  • Young Bucks Warned By Betrayed Former Ally With Mystery Note

The Young Bucks\’ are continuing to rack up wins on AEW programming, but now the brothers have a ghost from their past to deal with. During the latest episode of Being The Elite, the brothers tried to double their recent $500,000 winfall. The Bucks won their money during the September 10 edition of AEW Dynamite as part of the show\’s stacked ten-man tag-team main event.

Unfortunately for the Bucks, gambling their money did not prove fruitful. In the closing moments of the vlog, a mysterious package was discovered in their suitcase. Inside was a knife accompanied by a chilling note that read: “For the next time you want to stab me in the back.”

Given the Bucks’ past actions, there’s no shortage of individuals who might feel betrayed by the brothers. One possibility is Kenny Omega, who was ousted from The Elite by the Bucks in 2024. If so, this could signal that Omega is seeking revenge on the men who were once his closest allies.

Whatever the note’s origin, it could mean troubling times ahead for the Young Bucks. Despite their current streak of three consecutive wins on AEW weekly programming, the duo may need to watch their backs both inside and outside the ring.

  • Absent AEW Star Reaches Out To Young Bucks After Forbidden Door Loss

AEWxNJPW Forbidden Door 2025 hardly went the way the Young Bucks would have hoped for. After being embarrassed with the use of Hanson\’s Mmmbop (their first wrestling theme), the Jackson brothers were on the losing end of the show\’s Lights Out Steel Cage main event.

In footage taken post-Forbidden Door, the former AEW EVPs can be seen drowning their sorrows in some comfort food while watching the main event. The pair were interrupted by a phone call from Jack Perry, who they\’d promptly hang up on.

Perry has been missing from AEW TV for over nine months, though it is believed he could be back soon. Perry has been backstage at tapings of AEW programming in July and was said to be in good spirits. Perry was aligned with the Bucks as part of The Elite prior to his hiatus.

Perry has not appeared on AEW programming since he lost the TNT Championship to Daniel Garcia at Full Gear 2024. Now, all signs point to Perry inching closer to a return, though finding allies may prove harder for the Scapegoat than first thought.

  • Backstage News On Why AEW Ended The Young Bucks\’ EVP Storyline

A new report has revealed the backstage reasoning behind the decision to end The Young Bucks\’ long-running storyline as on-screen Executive Vice Presidents at this past weekend\’s AEW All In: Texas pay-per-view.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the high-stakes tag team match against Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay was specifically designed to conclude the authority figure angle for Matt and Nick Jackson. The report states the feeling was it had run its course so it was time to get them back to being a great wrestling tag team.

While the outcome saw the Bucks lose their EVP status, the report notes that another finish was \”absolutely discussed and considered.\” An alternate plan would have seen Strickland and Ospreay lose, banning them from challenging for the AEW World Championship for an entire year. However, the report adds that The Young Bucks themselves insisted on taking the loss. On the following episode of AEW Dynamite, the brothers were shown struggling to adapt to life without their executive powers.

The victory has major implications for the winning team. Swerve Strickland is now free to challenge for the AEW World Championship at any time. However, his partner Will Ospreay will be unable to capitalize on the momentum, as it was also reported this week that Ospreay is taking an extended hiatus to recover from injuries that are believed to be worse than first anticipated.

  • Scott D\’Amore Thinks The Young Bucks Could End Up In WWE

After The Young Bucks were stripped of their Executive Vice President titles at AEW All In: Texas, former TNA President Scott D\’Amore has weighed in on their future. He suggested that Matt and Nick Jackson could one day make the jump to WWE.

Speaking on the most recent edition of his podcast, The D\’Amore Drop, Scott D\’Amore discussed the current storyline for the Young Bucks. He noted that with all they have accomplished in AEW, a move to WWE for a \”WrestleMania moment\” could be in their future.

“It’s no secret WWE wanted the Bucks badly before they helped form AEW — and I can see Matt and Nick, not tomorrow, but at some point — maybe deciding it is time to go have a WrestleMania moment like fellow AEW founder Cody Rhodes did,” D’Amore stated.

D\’Amore\’s comments come after a major shift in the Young Bucks\’ on-screen status. At All In, they lost a tag team match to Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay, with the stipulation being that they would lose their EVP titles. On the following episode of AEW Dynamite, the brothers were portrayed as being lost without the perks of their executive roles. Despite this storyline, Matt and Nick Jackson signed long-term contract extensions with AEW in August 2023.

D\’Amore\’s comparison to Cody Rhodes is a timely one. Since leaving AEW and returning to WWE in 2022, Rhodes has become one of the company\’s top babyfaces. After winning this year\’s King of the Ring tournament, he is now scheduled to challenge John Cena for the Undisputed WWE Championship at the upcoming SummerSlam premium live event.

  • Young Bucks Struggle On Dynamite After Losing AEW EVP Status

The July 16 episode of AEW Dynamite took place at the Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, Illinois and dealt with the fallout from last week\’s All In: Texas pay-per-view. During that show, the Young Bucks lost their tag team match against Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland, and in the process, lost their status as AEW EVPs.

During Dynamite, the former EVPs were clearly unhappy with their new circumstances. They arrived via a standard Lyft instead of their usual limo and were downgraded to a modest locker room, far from the executive treatment they once received.

In the ring, the Bucks teamed with Josh Alexander and Hechicero in an All-Star 8-Man Tag Team Match against ROH World Champion Bandido, JetSpeed, and Brody King. Their usual entrance video was replaced with a crudely styled alternative—seemingly created in MS Paint. Ring announcer Justin Roberts appeared to take pleasure in emphasizing their demotion during the introductions as he nixed their usual introductions with their full names.

Despite these changes, Don Callis seems to be aligning himself with the Bucks once again, hinting at potential developments to come. For now, though, the Young Bucks appear to be sliding down the AEW hierarchy.

  • The Young Bucks Entrance Changed After All In Texas Loss

The Young Bucks are already feeling the effects of their loss at All In Texas.

The AEW founders put their Executive Vice President positions on the line against Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay at the PPV this past Saturday. The duo of Ospreay and Strickland had promised not to challenge for the world title if they lost but it was the Bucks who suffered the loss.

The effects of the brothers losing their power within the company was seen during this week\’s episode of Dynamite, when the two made their entrance. Not only were the Young Bucks stripped of their usual pyro during their entrance, the production crew also changed the graphics on the big screen:

The duo of Nick and Matt Jackson teamed with Hechicero & Josh Alexander to face Bandido, Brody King, & JetSpeed at the show. The heels picked up the victory in this match after Hechicero put Bandido into a sleeper hold.

The former EVPs were not the only ones whose entrance was changed. New Unified Champion Kazuchika Okada also entered to a new theme at tonight\’s show after his All In victory over Kenny Omega. Okada picked up a quick win after which he was confronted by Strickland. You can check out the full story here

  • Doesn\’t Get Enough Credit: The Young Bucks Praise Top AEW Star Ahead of All In

The Young Bucks have given flowers to one of AEW\’s top stars ahead of All In Texas.

The duo spoke to Uncrowned for an interview promoting the PPV event this weekend. They talked about things such as Hangman Page being the main character of AEW, how far the company has come since its inception and more.

During the interview, the brothers also discussed the importance of Jon Moxley for the company. Matt Jackson noted how he was the first major star to jump ship from WWE to AEW and has been a cornerstone of the promotion ever since:

“Jon was one of the first people who came over and it was truly shocking at the time. He’s been a locker room leader the entire time, and has worked so hard from the beginning,”

All four members of the Elite have had to take time off from the company for different reasons in the past couple of years. Moxley has continued to be a leader on and off-screen for the promotion in this time.

The duo noted how the current AEW Champion has always been around even when they have not been, saying that he deserves more credit than he\’s given:

“You talk about consistency, and drive, you’re talking about Jon. Even times when we weren’t able to be around, Jon was always there to help guide the crew. I don’t think he gets enough credit for what he’s done to make AEW thrive.”

The Young Bucks will be putting their Executive positions with AEW on line against Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay at the All In PPV this weekend. You can check out all the latest news about the show here.

  • Multiple Stipulations Confirmed For All In: Texas Matches

The upcoming All In: Texas PPV will feature more than one stipulation match.

The duo of Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay had laid out a challenge to The Young Bucks for a tag team match last week. Ospreay had pitched the idea for the EVPs to put their executive positions on the line for this match.

The duo of Matt and Nick Jackson agreed to this bout on this week\’s Dynamite 300 special. Though with the stipulation that Strickland and Ospreay will not be able to challenge for the World Championship for a year if they lose the upcoming match.

Not only that but Hangman Adam Page also challenged Jon Moxley to turn their upcoming AEW title bout into a Texas Death Match during the show which the Death Riders leader accepted.

  • Tag Team Match With Unique Stipulation Teased For All In Texas, Updated Card

A new tag team match with an interesting stipulation has been teased for the upcoming AEW All In: Texas PPV next month.

This week\’s episode of Dynamite continued the build for the upcoming show. The opening match of the night saw the team of Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay defeating Blake Christian and Lee Johnson. The Young Bucks were at the ringside for the bout.

The Bucks had a faceoff with Ospreay and Strickland after the bell, who went on to challenge the EVPs to a match at All In. Just before the closing of the segment, Ospreay threw in an interesting stipulation, saying that the AEW founders should put their Executive positions on the line for this match.

Apart from this, the company confirmed during Dynamite that the duo of Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight will be challenging The Hurt Syndicate for the Tag Team Championships at the show.

AEW All In Texas Updated Match Card

All In Texas will take place from Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas next month on July 12. Bryan Danielson is also expected to be at the show.

  • AEW\’s The Young Bucks Discussing Starting A New Wrestling Promotion

Matt Jackson isn’t just focused on a potential Being The Elite revival, or his role in AEW, but may soon be the figurehead of another wrestling promotion. During a recent live stream, Matt discussed the idea he\’s shared with his brother to have another wrestling company under their control.

\”Me and Nick have talked about it a lot. We’ve talked about buying PWG and reopening. We’ve talked about starting our own indie. We’ve talked about a wrestling school. I don’t know. In the next few years though, if we’re gonna do something, it’ll probably happen in the next few.”

Purchasing PWG would be a full-circle moment for the Bucks, given that their matches with the company proved to be instant classics among indie wrestling fans. Taking over the promotion would represent a new chapter in their PWG connection, while launching a school or new promotion would cement their legacy by shaping the next wave of talent.

While nothing is confirmed yet, the interest is clearly there—and fans of the independent scene are taking notice. It may be just a matter of time before the AEW EVPs hold management roles in PWG.

  • Young Bucks Return, Cost Swerve Strickland At AEW Dynasty

Swerve Strickland\’s ambitions to become a two-time AEW World Champion went up in smoke at AEW Dynasty, thanks to the returning Young Bucks. In the show\’s main event, Strickland battled Jon Moxley for the title which has been carried around in a briefcase. The show was extra special for Strickland as he won the AEW World Championship at Dynasty 2024 and hoped to repeat this success in 2025.

Strickland and Moxley held nothing back in their match, and when Marina Shafir attempted to interfere, Prince Nana put an end to her efforts. Not only did Shafir not cost Strickland the match, but the AEW World Champion accidentally hit her with a cutter. Later on, the other Death Riders got involved but Hangman Adam Page and the Opps would fight them off.

The finish of the match saw Swerve Strickland set Moxley up for the Swerve Stomp and hit it flush. Then, the lights went out before Swerve could make what would\’ve been the decisive cover. When the lights came back on, the Young Bucks were in the ring and and they hit Swerve with the BTE Trigger. The ref crawled into the ring and made the count to declare Moxley the winner.

The immediate response online to this finish was mixed. While some fans are excited to see the Bucks back, others believe their return ruined the finish. This frustration stems from many fans not liking the Death Riders storyline and believing that Dynasty was the right time and Swerve was the right wrestler to take the gold away from Moxley.

Instead, Moxley\’s reign continues to chug along, thanks once again to outside interference. With the Bucks back, it remains to be seen how Strickland will respond to being screwed out of the richest prize in AEW.

  • The Young Bucks Take Aim At Omega & Ibushi In Surprise NJPW Appearance

The Young Bucks surprised fans with their appearance at NJPW Strong Style Evolved, and the AEW EVPs weren\’t afraid to get physical. The show saw Jack Perry and Konosuke Takeshita struggle to co-exist in their tag-team match, but were able to defeat Shingo Takagi and Yota Tsuji.

After the match, Takeshita and Perry ganged up on Takagai until Hiromu Takahashi arrived to fight them off. The Young Bucks then blindsided Takahashi with a superkick, though Perry seemed far from happy to see his fellow Elite allies and headed to the back.

Matthew and Nicholas Jackson discussed challenging for the IWGP Tag Team Championships at Wrestle Dynasty on January 5. The duo also took aim at Kenny Omega and Kota Ibushi, with Nick saying the pair are injury prone after Matt pondered what happened to the pair.

The Bucks will challenge Great-O-Khan and a mystery partner for the vacant tag team titles at Wrestle Dynasty. The titles are currently vacant after Henare suffered a knee injury, forcing him and Great-O-Khan to give up the gold. The match will be the first time the Bucks have competed since the October 20, 2024 edition of AEW Dynamite, when the brothers lost the AEW World Tag Team Championships to Private Party.

Wrestle Dynasty will be the first show of its kind and take place in Tokyo Japan on January 5, one day after NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 19. The blockbuster show will feature talent from AEW, New Japan, Ring of Honor, CMLL, and STARDOM. Stay tuned for the latest on Wrestle Dynasty and The Young Bucks\’ involvement with the show.

  • The Young Bucks Set Sights On IWGP Tag Titles For Wrestle Dynasty

The Young Bucks have set their sights on capturing the IWGP Tag Team Championships at the first-ever Wrestle Dynasty pay-per-view in January. In a video segment from their home, the brothers opened things up by telling someone on the phone to \”cry me a river,\” a nod to Jack Perry\’s infamous line from All In: London aimed at CM Punk.

After hanging up the phone, the Bucks shared that they\’re tired of working from home and plan to return to the ring at the January 5, show. The pair described regaining the IWGP Tag Titles as an accolade they need to reach before they retire and warned Toyko that their \”rich God-fearing uncles\” are coming back.

The Bucks won the titles at Dominion 6.9 in June 2018, and would hold the gold for 113 days. Their time with the gold ended at Fighting Spirit Unleashed in September at the hands of the Guerrillas of Destiny (Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa.)

The titles are currently held by the United Empire (Great-O-Khan and Jeff Cobb). The duo won the gold from TMDK at Power Struggle earlier this month.

    Wrestle Dynasty 2025

Wrestle Dynasty will emanate from the legendary Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan, just one day after NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 19. The show will feature talent from AEW, New Japan Pro Wrestling, Ring of Honor, STARDOM, and Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre.

The match card for the show so far is as follows:

    • Kenny Omega Vs. Gabe Kidd
    • Yota Tsuji vs. Jack Perry
    • Shingo Takagi (c) or Konosuke Takeshita vs. Tomohiro Ishii (NEVER Openweight Championship)
    • Zack Sabre Jr. Vs. Ricochet
    • Shota Umino Vs. Claudio Castagnoli
    • International Women’s Cup Four-Way
    • Possible: The Young Bucks Vs. United Empire (Great-O-Khan and Jeff Cobb) (c) (IWGP Tag Team Championships)

With the long-awaited return of Kenny Omega to the ring, as well as Mercedes Mone teasing a role, Wrestle Dynasty will see plenty of AEW representation. Now, fans can look forward to seeing the Young Bucks back in the ring, should the AEW EVPs get their wish and a shot at United Empire.

  • Young Bucks Step Away from AEW After Losing Tag Titles

The Young Bucks’ recent loss of their AEW World Tag Team Championship to Private Party was more than just a dramatic conclusion to their third title reign—it was a planned move to write them off television.

Nicolas and Matthew Jackson\’s final match was a \’match-of-the-year\’ contender that showcased some of the best tag team wrestling you\’ll find anywhere. After the bout, their villainous tenancies were set aside. They handled the loss with class by presenting the new champions with their titles and offering warm congratulations.

According to PWInsider, the Bucks will be off television for an extended period, allowing other tag teams to take center stage amid Jon Moley’s ongoing campaign of chaos in AEW. Although their absence will be significant hit to AEW programming, they remain under longterm contracts and will be back eventually.

    Private Party Looks Ahead

For now, a new era begins for Private Party and the wide-open AEW tag team division the division. Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen were congratulated by another AEW executive, Tony Khan, backstage after their victory.

On Thursday morning, after having a few hours to reflect on the biggest moment of their careers, Kassidy posted a photo of his new hardware and wrote, \”5 years in the making… We finally did it.\”

  • Private Party Win AEW World Tag Titles On (10/30) Dynamite

At AEW WrestleDream, Private Party put up a valiant effort against The Young Bucks in their World Tag Team Title match but ultimately fell short to the EVPs. On this week\’s Dynamite, the two teams did battle again, and this time, it was Private Party who emerged victorious.

The stakes were raised for the rematch, as Quen and Zay had vowed to disband for good if they lost to the Bucks on Dynamite. Zay was busted open during the match, but that didn\’t keep Private Party down, as the pair hit stereo 450 splashes on the Jacksons, but they weren’t able to get the pinfall.

The finish of the match saw Matt Jackson hit the One-Winged Angel on Zay but Quen broke up the pinfall at the very last second. Private Party was able to nail Gin & Juice to get the win and their first tag titles since joining AEW back in 2019.

This win marks the end of the latest tag title reign for the Young Bucks, who had held the titles since AEW Dynasty in April. The pair hold the record for the most title reigns (3) and the most days as AEW World Tag Team Champions (523 days.) After their loss, the Bucks told Christopher Daniels that they\’ll be working from home from now on.

It remains to be seen when The Young Bucks will be back, as they don\’t plan on wrestling anytime soon if this comment is to be believed. Stay tuned to SEScoops for all the latest from AEW and the new World Tag Team Champions Private Party.

  • Young Bucks Returning To NJPW in January at Wrestle Dynasty

AEW World Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks will make their return to New Japan Pro Wrestling at Wrestle Dynasty, six years removed from their more recent NJPW match. The AEW EVPs shared the news via video during NJPW\’s King Of Pro-Wrestling 2024 event.

The Young Bucks haven\’t competed for New Japan since WrestleKingdom 13 in January 2019, mere days after AEW was announced to the public. With that in mind, the brothers have been a part of AEWxNJPW: Forbidden Door events, where they hold a 2-1 win/loss record.

    WrestleDynasty 2025

Wrestle Dynasty will take place on January 5, 2025, from the legendary Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan, just one day after NJPW: Wrestle Kingdom 19 in the same venue. • Shane McMahon Flies With AEW\’s Young Bucks in \”Coincidence Meeting\”

In July of this year, wrestling fans were shocked as Shane McMahon, the prodigal son of WWE, met with Tony Khan at an airport in Arlington, Texas. This week, McMahon was once again in an airport, and once again, his time traveling left the 54-year-old feeling very \’Elite.\’

On Twitter, the Young Bucks shared that they bumped into McMahon at an airport with the AEW World Tag Champions saying they had an \”interesting flight today.\”

McMahon has said that it was sheer \”coincidence\” that he and the Bucks were on the same flight, Cultaholic reports. The trio were seen speaking and laughing together before boarding their flight in New York. All three sat in first class, with McMahon sitting behind the reigning AEW World Tag Team Champions. It\’s added that the two parties didn\’t interact much during the flight, as the Bucks slept through most of the journey to Salt Lake City.

McMahon and Tony Khan had a \”really nice\” meeting in which they discussed their mutual fondness for wrestling and \”possibilities moving forward.\” Their meeting came after Conrad Thompson claimed that McMahon had spoken to some in AEW about the possibility of joining Tony Khan’s first promotion. It was later clarified that Shane was not making a formal pitch to join AEW and was simply stating that it would be an interesting moment in wrestling

    What Does The Roster Say?

    \"Shane
    Tony Khan and Shane McMahon

Shane McMahon joining AEW would certainly be huge and has the backing of AEW World Champion Bryan Danielson, who\’s open to working with Shane in AEW. McMahon and Danielson were once authority figures on SmackDown and teamed together at WrestleMania 34 in 2018.

MJF on the other hand has warned Shane to stay away from him, citing that it\’s in the best interest of Shane\’s health if the pair were kept at a distance. MJF has also mocked McMahon\’s WrestleMania 39 quad tear, commenting that the \’apple doesn\’t fall far from the tree,\’ a nod to Vince McMahon suffering the same injury in 2005.

    What\’s Next?

While Shane has yet to appear on AEW programming, this chance encounter with the Young Bucks will add fuel to the rumors that he could be joining. Although a McMahon being All-Elite would\’ve seemed impossible just a year ago, fans likewise once felt it was impossible that Vince McMahon would leave WWE, never mind doing so twice.

Stay tuned to SEScoops for all the latest on Shane McMahon as fans continue await what the future holds for him, and whether his future is in AEW.
