Shotzi Teases MLW Fusion Broadcast Details Coming Soon

Shotzi says fans won’t be waiting much longer to find out where and when MLW Fusion will return to television. The former WWE star teased that Major League Wrestling will announce broadcast details for its flagship show soon.

Speaking with WrestleZone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard ahead of her appearance at MLW’s Fantastica Mania event on April 12, Shotzi addressed the status of Fusion. The promotion has been taping content for the show’s return but has not yet revealed its broadcast home.

“Trust me, it’s killing me that [the broadcast details are] not out yet. But I can tell you that it will be soon. You guys won’t be waiting long,” Shotzi said.

    Why Shotzi Signed With MLW

Shotzi signed with MLW last month after spending ten months touring the independent scene following her WWE departure. She explained that creative freedom and the ability to continue working other promotions made the decision easy.

“I told myself that I wouldn’t sign anywhere for like the next year or two. I definitely needed a year or two to find my footing and just have a good time and just have that freedom and that creativity,” she said. “I’d already committed to so many dates with MLW and I have so much fun there, I get my TV fix there. The storylines that I’m doing at MLW are just fulfilling me creatively.”

She continued: “They really value my input and they really understand my character, so it was just like a no-brainer to me. I just didn’t want to go back into that same situation where I sign somewhere and then I’m stuck in catering and I’m not able to wrestle, have fun, and be creative. But with MLW, I have all of that, and I’m still able to go to Japan or Mexico, wrestle for all these other companies, and do me.”

    Shotzi Praises MLW Creative Direction

The wrestler expressed excitement about what MLW has planned for Fusion once it returns to television. She praised the promotion’s creative approach as distinct from other wrestling companies.

“Just seeing what we have in store for Fusion, I’m really excited about because it’s nothing like what’s happening in any other wrestling company. The creative at MLW is unlike any other. I’m excited for everyone to see it once it finally airs,” Shotzi said.

MLW has already hosted several live events that served as Fusion TV tapings. Shotzi will compete at MLW’s Fantastica Mania event on April 12.
