Nikki Bella Says Ronda Rousey’s 17-Second MMA Win Left Her Wanting More

Nikki Bella says Ronda Rousey’s physique and performance in her 17-second win over Gina Carano left her wanting more from her former WWE rival, despite Rousey announcing her retirement afterward.

Speaking to USA Today Sports, Bella reflected on the MVP MMA 1 main event.

“I think, you know, my initial response was like, wait, it’s done. But the one thing I will say is it left me wanting a lot more from Ronda. She looked incredible. I mean, she looked so amazing that I want to see her now on more fights. You know, I’m all about nostalgia. So no matter what it was, I love that those two women got into that octagon and did what they did. But I will say the shape that Ronda Rousey’s in, I mean, she’s a year postpartum. That’s incredible. I want to see more from her. I know, you know, as now she’s saying she’s going to have more babies and that was it. But she, even in those 17 seconds, Ronda looked like she didn’t miss a beat.”

Bella also praised Logan Paul’s contributions to WWE, referencing his back-and-forth with Tom Brady ahead of WrestleMania 42.

“I know everyone else got whatever by it, but I like Logan Paul a lot, and I think what he does for our industry is great, and so when I see stuff like that, I’m like, this is great. This is amazing. Like, you know, and it made me laugh because, you know, I am a diehard Eagles fan.”

Bella has been sidelined since suffering an ankle injury in March. Paige stepped in to replace her in the Women’s Tag Team Title match at WrestleMania 42. She is hopeful to return in June and has expressed interest in appearing at Night of Champions.

  • Nikki Bella Recovery Update After Ankle Injury

Nikki Bella Recovery Update After Ankle Injury

WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella recently provided an encouraging update on her recovery from the ankle injury that forced her out of WrestleMania 42. The former WWE Divas Champion revealed she has reached a new milestone in her rehabilitation process.

Speaking to USA Today Sports, Bella revealed that she was able to squat for the first time since the injury occurred. She acknowledged the movement was not at full strength yet, comparing herself to a baby deer during the exercise.

“The ankle’s doing great. I was really fired up because this morning I got to squat for the first time—not too heavy. Looked a little bit like a baby deer,” Bella said.

Bella explained that her physical therapy has shifted focus from healing to strengthening. The rehabilitation now targets the ankle and surrounding mechanics, including the toes, feet, hips, and knees.

“But last week I got to move up a level in my PT, where I could start focusing on strengthening. So working with my trainer and my PT, a lot of our focus is on strengthening, as well as building the ankle and all the little mechanics that come with the toes, the feet, the hips, the knees—everything,” she stated.

    Mid-June Medical Evaluation

The next major checkpoint in Bella’s recovery will come in mid-June when she undergoes X-rays to assess bone healing. She said doctors have not provided a firm return timeline until they see those results.

“I’ll get X-rayed in the middle of June and see how the bones have grown. So fingers crossed I’ll get amazing news, and then I’ve just got to match that with strength, and then I’ll be back,” Bella said.

She admitted to pressing doctors for a comeback date, but they have refused to commit to a timeline before the June evaluation. Bella said she would love to return by the end of June, but emphasized she will not rush back and risk reinjury.

“So in my head, the end of June would be incredible. But I also don’t want to come back too early, because a big reason people get reinjured is that their strength doesn’t match their recovery. So I need to make sure the calf, the quads, the glutes—all of it—is built up properly so it protects that ankle,” she explained.

    WrestleMania 42 Absence

Bella was originally scheduled to team with Brie Bella for the Women’s Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 42 before the injury occurred. Paige replaced her in the match, leaving Bella to watch from the sidelines.

Bella has also stated she wants to return as a heel for her final run, focusing on character work rather than performing as a babyface.

  • Nikki Bella Provides Injury Update

    Nikki Bella Provides Injury Update

Nikki Bella says she is hoping for a return to WWE by the end of June following the ankle injury she suffered during a SmackDown match in March, but has acknowledged that she will not know more until doctors re-examine her next month.

Speaking to USA Today, Bella described the conversation with her medical team.

“(The medical team says) ‘not until I see what your ankle looks like in June,’ and I’m like, ‘But if you were to just guess,’ and they’re like, ‘Don’t know, not until June.’”

She expressed optimism about a late June return while cautioning herself against rushing back.

“I’m hoping, for me in my head, end of June would be incredible, but I also don’t want to go back too early, because you know the big part about when people get reinjured is because their strength isn’t matching, so I need to make sure the calves, the quads, glutes, I need to make sure they’re all built up.”

Bella was injured during a March 27 SmackDown match in which she and Brie Bella defeated Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair. She was unable to compete at WrestleMania 42, where Brie and Paige won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. A return at the end of June would line up with WWE Night of Champions on June 27 at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. She underwent surgery for it shortly before WrestleMania.

Nikki Bella has sent out a warning to The Judgment Day following a confrontation on the May 11 edition of Raw.

The Judgment Day members Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, and Roxanne Perez confronted WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Brie Bella and Paige before physically attacking both wrestlers.

The post, shared on the Nikki and Brie social media account, suggested Nikki would return to Raw despite dealing with an injury. The message referenced her 2015 run as a warning to The Judgment Day.

“Ohhhh ****!!! I’m about to tape up still broken and get my *** to RAW!!! No one talks to my sister like that or one of my girls! Hell no!! They want to talk about has beens I’m about to 2015 their *****!! N,” the post read.

Nikki Bella also recently revealed that she is aiming to make her comeback at WWE Night of Champions on June 27, 2026, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The former two-time Divas Champion addressed her recovery timeline during an episode of The Nikki & Brie Show, giving fans hope she’ll be back in the ring sooner than expected.

Bella suffered a severe ankle injury on the March 27 episode of SmackDown that forced her out of WrestleMania 42. She tore, sprained, and fractured her ankle, requiring surgery just a couple of weeks before the ‘Show of Shows.’

  • Nikki Bella Shares Interest in WWE Role After In-Ring Career Ends

Nikki Bella Shares Interest in WWE Role After In-Ring Career Ends

Nikki Bella has a clear vision for what comes after her in-ring career, and it involves a significant role on Monday Night Raw.

Speaking on a solo edition of the Nikki and Brie Show, Bella addressed fan conversation on X about whether WWE should shake up its general manager positions, and revealed she has thought seriously about the idea of stepping into that role down the line.

“What I love about this one: I can do this, not being in the ring. There was a lot of talk about it on X, like, ‘should they change the general managers?’ I would love to be a general manager at one point. After the in-ring stuff, I’d love at some point to be a general manager for Raw. When I saw all that talk and someone put me as the GM for Raw, I was like, I actually like that!”

The comments come while Bella is currently sidelined with the ankle injury she suffered during the SmackDown tag team match in late March. Despite being unable to compete at WrestleMania 42, the Bella Twins’ current run has demonstrated that Nikki still has plenty to offer when healthy, with the pair signing two-year contracts at the start of the year as part of what they have described as their final chapter in WWE.

Bella’s interest in a future GM role offers an interesting idea of what life after the ring could look like for her within WWE.

  • Nikki Bella Eyeing Return at WWE Night of Champions 2026

Nikki Bella Eyeing Return at WWE Night of Champions 2026

WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella has revealed that she is aiming to make her comeback at WWE Night of Champions on June 27, 2026, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The former two-time Divas Champion addressed her recovery timeline during the April 27 episode of The Nikki & Brie Show, giving fans hope she’ll be back in the ring sooner than expected.

Bella suffered a severe ankle injury on the March 27 episode of SmackDown that forced her out of WrestleMania 42. She tore, sprained, and fractured her ankle, requiring surgery just a couple of weeks before the biggest show of the year.

Bella Confirms Night of Champions Target Date

When discussing the recently announced Night of Champions event at Kingdom Arena, Bella made her intentions clear.

“Hopefully I will get to see you all in June. They just announced Night of Champions is going to be happening in June, so fingers crossed that still goes. But obviously, I’d love to see you all there,” she said on the podcast.

The timeline aligns with her previous recovery estimate. On April 20, Bella responded to a fan on social media, stating she expected to be out “6-8 weeks hopefully.” With Night of Champions scheduled for June 27, the event falls within that projected window.

WrestleMania 42 Replacement and Tag Title Change

Bella’s injury forced WWE to make a last-minute change to the WrestleMania 42 card. Paige stepped in to team with Brie Bella, and the duo captured the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships at the event.

While she’s targeting Night of Champions, WWE may opt for a more cautious approach given the severity of the ankle damage that required surgical repair.

  • Brie Bella Searching For “Stooge” Who Leaked Paige’s WWE Return

Brie Bella Searching For “Stooge” Who Leaked Paige’s WWE Return

Brie Bella isn’t happy about how Paige’s comeback got leaked before WrestleMania 42, and she’s making it clear someone backstage is to blame.

Before Paige returned at WrestleMania 42, replacing Nikki Bella and winning the Women’s Tag Team Titles alongside Brie, reports surfaced about her comeback and multi-year deal. But according to Brie, the bigger issue isn’t the return itself: it’s how the surprise got spoiled ahead of time.

Speaking on the Nikki & Brie Show on April 21, 2026, Brie addressed the leak directly and made it clear she believes someone inside the circle tipped the information before it was meant to go public.

Brie Bella Vows to Find the Source

Brie set the tone by saying moments like Paige’s return are supposed to stay under wraps, especially when WWE is trying to create a surprise for fans.

“The Paige stuff got leaked from a stooge, and I will find out who saw it earlier in the week. I will say this.. you guys.. just let things be special and a secret. Who runs and tells people?” Brie said.

She didn’t stop there. Brie then took aim at the culture of breaking news around wrestling, suggesting that some people are more focused on clicks than protecting big moments.

    Criticism of Wrestling News Culture

“I’m talking about people who have run to TMZ and saw something they wanna break about someone’s personal life. It’s about clicks and impressions, so they wanna be breaking news. You didn’t break anything,” Brie stated.

Brie made it personal, saying the leak didn’t just ruin a surprise — it crossed a line in how private moments get handled. She closed with a warning, making it clear she plans to figure out exactly who let the information slip.

“I will say this: it’s actually sad. So, look at yourself in the mirror and think about what you will do next time. I’m gonna find that stooge, though.”

Paige’s return ended with a title win at WrestleMania, but backstage, the fallout from the leak has become its own story.

Between the surprise being spoiled and Brie calling it out publicly, the situation has drawn attention to how wrestling news gets reported and who has access to sensitive information before major events.

  • Fans Rally for Paige WWE 2K26 DLC After WrestleMania Return

Fans Rally for Paige WWE 2K26 DLC After WrestleMania Return

Paige’s shock return at WrestleMania 42 has fans pushing hard for her to be added to WWE 2K26, with social media campaigns targeting the game’s upcoming WrestleMania 42 Pack DLC.

After eight years away from a WWE ring, Paige replaced an injured Nikki Bella on Night 1 at Allegiant Stadium and teamed with Brie Bella to capture the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. She pinned Alexa Bliss with the RamPaige to cap the fatal four-way, marking her first WWE title win since August 2014.

The moment immediately reshaped fan wishlists for 2K’s post-launch content. With Paige signing a multi-year deal and returning as champion, players have flooded social feeds asking 2K to add her likeness, entrance, and updated attire to WWE 2K26.

    WrestleMania 42 Pack Details

The WrestleMania 42 Pack is a separate drop from Ringside Pass Season 2, which launched April 15 with Demolition’s Ax, Smash, and Crush plus Kelly Kelly. According to 2K, the WrestleMania 42 Pack will include the Night 1 and Night 2 arenas along with three WrestleMania 42 Superstar Persona Cards.

The pack is automatically delivered to Monday Night War Edition owners and will also be available for standalone purchase. An exact release date has yet to be announced.

    Fan Wishlist Takes Shape

Paige leads the unofficial fan wishlist, but she is far from the only name circulating. Requests have poured in for updated Liv Morgan attire, Roman Reigns’ Tribal Chief gear from his WrestleMania 42 run, and CM Punk’s WrestleMania 42 outfit as potential Persona Card additions.

Fan mockups featuring silhouetted roster slots have spread across wrestling gaming communities, speculating on which three Personas 2K will pick from a weekend packed with memorable moments. The pack format favors quick-turnaround additions that can reuse existing in-game models.

2K has not publicly responded to the Paige campaign, and there is no confirmation she is under consideration. The Ringside Pass roadmap through Season 6 already includes Brie Bella as a Season 5 addition, but no 2K26 slot for Paige has been announced.

  • Nikki Bella Gives Return Timeline, Dismisses WrestleMania Report

Nikki Bella Gives Return Timeline, Dismisses WrestleMania Report

Nikki Bella has addressed her injury timeline and taken shots at a report claiming The Bella Twins were originally planned to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania 42.

Responding to a tweet which claimed the original WrestleMania plan was for the Bellas to capture the titles, Nikki fired back via the shared @NikkiAndBrie account on X.

“Always lies for the cliiicccckkkkss right?? Lol,” Nikki wrote, dismissing the report.

When a fan followed up asking how long she would be sidelined, Nikki offered a more optimistic outlook.

    “6-8 weeks hopefully,” she replied.

    Fractured, Torn, and Sprained Ankle

Nikki missed WrestleMania 42 Night One after suffering a serious ankle injury during the March 27 episode of SmackDown. She later revealed the full extent of the damage, saying she had fractured, torn, and sprained the ankle, calling it “a painful two weeks.”

Nikki underwent surgery in Birmingham, Alabama ahead of the event. Paige stepped in as her replacement, teaming with Brie Bella to capture the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships in the Fatal Four-Way match on Night One at Allegiant Stadium.

    Observer Report in Question

The Wrestling Observer Radio report, surfaced by WrestleFeatures on X, claimed the original WrestleMania booking called for the Bellas to win the titles. Nikki’s response on social media made clear she disputes that framing.

Brie and Paige appeared on the post-show panel following WrestleMania 42. With a 6-8 week recovery window, Nikki could be back in time for SummerSlam season.

  • Nikki Bella Says She Underwent Surgery For Broken Ankle Two Weeks Ago

Nikki Bella Says She Underwent Surgery For Broken Ankle Two Weeks Ago

Nikki Bella knew she would not make it to WrestleMania for a while.

The former Divas Champion kept people guessing about her WrestleMania status despite a visible ankle injury until the last minute. In the end, however, she did not compete at the show. Bella introduced a returning Paige as her replacement instead. The former AEW star then went on to win the Women’s tag titles with Brie Bella.

This new WWE trio appeared on the WrestleMania post-show. Talking about her injury, Nikki Bella revealed that she broke her ankle in the SmackDown match last month and actually underwent surgery for it two weeks ago:

“I actually got surgery two weeks ago from yesterday. I managed to break, sprain, and tear my ankle. When I’m headed into Birmingham to get surgery. Guess who is in Birmingham. I was like, ‘Brie, there is no way I’m going to make WrestleMania, but you still have to have your moment.’

We were both like, ‘The only person who will make it feel special and like family is Paige.’ It’s crazy how life works. It’s part of the journey. There is no one else, and I truly mean this, no other WWE superstar in the past or now, that I would want to take my place than Paige,”

Nikki Bella did not reveal how long she will be out of action but a broken ankle means she will not be seen in the ring anytime soon.

Tonight’s show also featured a big match between Stephanie Vaquer and Liv Morgan but the duo ended up making an unfortunate record. You can check out more about it here.

  • Nikki Bella Denies Reports of Big WrestleMania Return

Nikki Bella Denies Reports of Big WrestleMania Return

    • This article contains potential WrestleMania spoiler.

Nikki Bella says she is not missing WrestleMania.

The status of the former Divas Champion has been in question since she suffered a leg injury during a tag team match against Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss on SmackDown last month.

It was then reported on Friday that Bella will indeed be missing her women’s tag title match at the Show of Shows this year because of her injury. The report also claimed that a returning Paige will be replacing the Hall of Famer in the bout at the PPV event.

Nikki Bella Says She Is Still In It

The Bella Twins stopped to talk to Big E on the Hall of Fame red carpet. E asked Nikki Bella about her health, noting that she was still wearing a walking boot.

The WWE veteran claimed that it was just to get some extra rest before she goes after the women’s tag team titles tomorrow. The comment prompted Big E to ask if tomorrow was still on, to which Nikki said that she will never leave Brie’s side:

“Oh, yeah, I’m there, I’m here. I would never leave Brie’s side ever. I’m still in it, I’m still there tomorrow and we’re gonna go win those tag titles.”

WWE is bound to keep the return a surprise if Nikki is indeed going to miss the match. Based on her comments, it seems likely that Bella will still be at ringside for her sister, even if she doesn’t wrestle at the show.

  • Nikki Bella’s WWE WrestleMania 42 Status Remains Uncertain

Nikki Bella’s WWE WrestleMania 42 Status Remains Uncertain

Nikki Bella’s status for WrestleMania 42 remains too close to call with just days until the show, leaving one of Night One’s championship matches in an uncertain position.

The WWE Hall of Famer sustained an ankle injury during the March 27 episode of SmackDown while teaming with Brie Bella against Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair. After the match ended, a multi-team brawl broke out, but Nikki was unable to participate, remaining at ringside while medical staff attended to her. She was later spotted wearing a walking boot, adding to the concern about her timeline.

According to Dave Meltzer in the Daily Update, Nikki’s WrestleMania status is still undecided and has been described as “too close to call,” suggesting WWE may not know until the last moment whether she receives medical clearance to compete. WWE has provided updates on both Raw and SmackDown noting that she has been rehabbing and working toward clearance, though no official confirmation has been given.

Nikki is scheduled to team with Brie in the Women’s Tag Team Championship Fatal Four-Way on Night One of WrestleMania 42 on April 18, which also features Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair, Bayley and Lyra Valkyria, and champions Nia Jax and Lash Legend. Her absence would force WWE to make significant adjustments to one of the night’s championship matches with very little lead time.

The uncertainty carries added weight given the broader context of the Bella Twins’ current run. The pair revealed earlier this year that they signed two-year contracts they intend to be their final WWE deals before retirement, and winning the Women’s Tag Team Championship has been identified as the primary goal of that last chapter. Nikki has described the possibility of winning the titles as mothers as one of the most meaningful things they could accomplish together.

WWE has not announced any contingency plans if Nikki is unable to compete. The final decision rests entirely with the medical team and how her ankle responds in the days ahead.

  • Nikki Bella Unsure About WrestleMania Status Following Recent Injury

Nikki Bella Unsure About WrestleMania Status Following Recent Injury

Nikki Bella doesn’t know if she will be missing WrestleMania.

WWE had confirmed recently that the Hall of Famer suffered an injury during the Bella Twins’ match with Alexa Bliss & Charlotte Flair on the March 27 SmackDown. Though the company had only said that she was undergoing rehab and they had not confirmed if it could affect her status for the Show of Shows.

The former Divas Champion addressed her health during the sisters’ recent interview with Angie Martinez. Nikki Bella agreed that it was not the ideal time for her to get injured, and at first, she thought that she had broken her ankle. As things stand, the wrestling veteran believes it to be a sprained ankle, but she doesn’t know the severity of the injury:

“In our match on Friday, so, it was our second tag match back together and it happened right in the beginning of the match and I finished the match. I can’t believe I finished the match and I stressed out my poor sister. I’ve been super bummed out about it, so, as of now, it’s a sprained ankle. We don’t know if it’s a high sprain or something else so, I got an MRI, I’m waiting for the results.”

The Bella Twins, along with Bayley & Lyra Valkyria and Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss, are set to challenge The Irresistible Forces for the Women’s Tag Title at Night 1 of WrestleMania 42. We are likely to get a better idea about Nikki’s status for the Show of Shows on tonight’s SmackDown.

WWE Confirms Nikki Bella Injury, WrestleMania Status

Nikki Bella is dealing with an injury.

Fans were worried about the WWE star’s status when she was seen limping after the Bella Twins’ match against Alexa Bliss & Charlotte Flair on SmackDown last week. Nikki was then spotted wearing a walking boot during the taping of the latest Bella podcast, fuelling more rumors.

The commentators confirmed the injury during the April 3 episode of the Blue Branded show. Joe Tessitore first noted that they had an injury update, and Wade Barrett then revealed that Nikki Bella was undergoing rehab as a replay showed the moment the former champion hurt her ankle:

“Yeah, this is Nikki Bella suffering a nasty ankle roll in the Bella’s tag match with Bliss and Flair last week as you mentioned. Nikki is currently undergoing some rehab in order to be ready for their fatal four way tag title showdown.”

The Bella Twins are scheduled to challenge The Irresistible Forces for the women’s tag titles at WrestleMania 42. Alexa Bliss & Charlotte Flair, and Bayley & Lyra Valkyria are the other two teams who will be part of this fatal four-way bout.

The company not announcing any change to the Mania match suggests that they expect Nikki Bella to be cleared for the Show of Shows. Stay tuned for more updates.

  • Nikki Bella Addresses Toxic Fans Spreading False Rumors

Nikki Bella Addresses Toxic Fans Spreading False Rumors

Nikki Bella addressed the online hate and false rumors she’s been dealing with during her wrestling comeback. Speaking on The Flying Felon podcast, the former WWE superstar called out toxic fans who spread narratives that her success came from past relationships rather than her own work.

Bella explained that returning to wrestling after seven years away, while being a single mom, has made the constant criticism even harder to handle. She’s balancing training and performing with parenting responsibilities, but online commenters show no understanding of that reality.

    Dealing With Constant Negativity

“I hate to bring up people online, but sometimes we just can’t avoid it, right? In this industry, I feel like the hate that can happen and the trolling is just so wrong,” Bella said. She noted that critics immediately jump to negative comments without giving her any credit for the effort she’s putting in.

“Even on this comeback, there are moments—it’s been hard, because I knew coming back and not having a match in seven years… I am working my ass off and I’m trying, but I’m also a single mom. So it’s like I can give so much, and then I’ve got to give over here too,” she explained.

    False Narratives About Her Success

Bella directly addressed one of the most persistent rumors about her career, the claim that her success came from who she dated rather than her own abilities. She made it clear how frustrating that narrative is, given the work she’s putting in.

“And then it’s, ‘Wow, she only got to where she’s at because of who she used to date,’ or ‘she’s only here because of this.’ And it’s… I’m working really hard. I would love to say I don’t care, but there’s a part of me that does care. And there’s a part of me that hopes I can change that perception of those hateful people,” Bella said.

She acknowledged that while people tell her hate comes with success, it doesn’t make dealing with it any easier. The constant negativity affects her mental health, forcing her to take social media breaks at times.

    Taking Breaks From Social Media

“It is hard when you see so much online, especially when you know what kind of athlete you are. I have to, at times, take social media breaks and not read the comments, because they do affect me and they’ll get me really down,” Bella admitted.

She described social media as draining, noting that the platform amplifies miserable people who spread negativity. “Social media can be such a tough thing, and you have to really teach yourself not to read everything, because man, people are brutal. There are a lot of miserable people in this world, and I do believe that social media kind of sucks our soul energy,” she said.

Nikki Bella Provides Positive Update on Ankle Injury Ahead of WrestleMania 42

WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella recently provided a positive update on the ankle injury she suffered during the March 27th episode of SmackDown, confirming it is only a sprain and that she expects to be medically cleared within 7-10 days.

Nikki was spotted wearing a walking boot in New York City on Sunday. Reports suggest that she is doing ‘fine.’

    How The Injury Happened

Nikki went down during a tag team match on SmackDown in which The Bella Twins defeated Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss. According to PWInsider, Bella rolled her left ankle during an exchange with Charlotte Flair. She was visibly limping after the spot and did not return to the ring for the post-match segment.

While the rest of the women involved in the ensuing brawl celebrated in the ring, Nikki remained at ringside being evaluated by medical staff. Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Live initially reported that Bella appeared to be fine after the incident.

    WrestleMania 42 Plans On Track

The walking boot understandably raised concerns about Nikki’s availability for WrestleMania, but her 7-10 day recovery timeline puts her well within reach of the April 18-19 event. F4WOnline has also backed up the report that Nikki will be ready in time.

The Bella Twins have been building toward the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships since reuniting at the Royal Rumble in January. They are now confirmed for the fatal four-way Women’s Tag Team Championship match at WrestleMania against champions Nia Jax and Lash Legend, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, and Bayley and Lyra Valkyria.

Nikki and Brie signed a two-year contract with WWE beginning at the Royal Rumble and have said this will be their final run as active competitors.

Nikki Bella Questions Female Stars Never Getting Proper Farewell In WWE

Nikki Bella wants her own John Cena moment.

The Bella Twins made their return to WWE programming this past Friday Night on SmackDown. They cost Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair their match against the current Tag Team Champions Nia Jax and Lash Legend. This comes after they hinted at going after the belts following Brie Bella’s Royal Rumble return.

The sisters talked about their goals in this latest run on the newest episode of their podcast. During the talk, Nikki Bella expressed frustration with female stars never getting a send-off from the company:

“For me, I don’t think you and I will ever get that last retirement moment that John got and AJ Styles got, let’s be honest, the men get, right? I don’t think you and I will ever get that,”

I Don’t Think We Will: Nikki Bella

WWE has seen a number of retirements over the last year. Following Goldberg and John Cena, AJ Styles became the latest name to get a promoted final match at the company at Royal Rumble. Styles then made an appearance at the February 23 Raw for a farewell in his hometown of Atlanta, Georgia and he was announced as the latest inductee in Hall of Fame during the show.

Nikki Bella revealed that the Twins signed a two-year contract with WWE starting with the Saudi PPV and suggested that the period will mark the end of their wrestling careers. The wrestling veteran then said that she would love to be able to say goodbye to fans in a similar fashion to the male stars:

“But I would love to have that because I do know that the contract that we signed, you know, we signed a two-year deal starting Royal Rumble and for you and I, the talks we’ve had and what I know just where I’m at, that’s it.

That will be the end for me and for us and I would love, because I need the buttons on things, right? I would love to have them on. I would love to put my kicks, my snapback, my jersey right in the middle of that ring and just give that final bow, so I don’t know if we’ll ever get that. I don’t think we will, but is that what you were?”

Do you think WWE should provide an equal opportunity to female stars when it comes to a proper farewell? Let us know in the comments below.

  • The Bella Twins Confirm WrestleMania Status Amid WWE Absence

The Bella Twins are going to WrestleMania.

The sisters announced their intention to go after the Women\’s tag titles during their post-Royal Rumble promo on the February 2 Raw. Even a couple of weeks removed from Elimination Chamber, however, they have not appeared on WWE programming since.

The duo was asked about their WrestleMania status during a recent interview with Access Hollywood. The Bella Twins confirmed that they are still set for the Show of Shows in Las Vegas despite their recent absence:

“Officially at WrestleMania, that’s right. In Vegas, and I will say last year’s WrestleMania, I was there, Vegas was unreal. So amazing that we have to do it again, but now The Bellas are going to be in it, so you have to come.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Nikki and Brie named Nia Jax and Lash Legend as one of the teams they would like to face now that the Twins have reunited in WWE. The duo of Jax and Legend defeated Rhiyo to win the Women\’s Tag Titles at the February 27 episode of SmackDown.

The new champions, known together as The Irresistible Forces, have not had any title defences yet, and it\’s likely that the Bella Twins will be the first team to get a shot at them. Though with the WrestleMania card still being in flux, it\’s possible that the match might not happen at the PPV itself.

Rumors have been swirling around about the WWE Hall of Famer being romantically involved with the NFL star, as they have been spending time together recently.

So it was no surprise when the Philadelphia Eagles cornerback was asked about the former champion during a recent interview with Kay Adams. It was brought up when DeJean mentioned that he would become a fun uncle soon, as one of his teammates is set to welcome a child. When Adams jokingly asked if this means Nikki Bella will become the fun aunt, Cooper simply said:

    “I don’t know about that. She’s a good friend.”

She Could Be Talking About Anybody: Cooper DeJean

This comes only a couple of days after Bella herself added some fuel to the fire with a Raw reference. During the show this past Monday, Brie teased her sister, saying that the fans were chanting \’Coop.\’ Nikki responsed to this by asking the audience if there was something wrong with having great taste in men.

Though Cooper DeJean played coy when asked to react to the reference, saying that the WWE veteran could be talking about anybody:

“She’s saying she has good taste. I mean, she could be talking about anybody.”

The football star also offered some praise to the former Divas Champion, agreeing with Kay that she is a legend and saying that Nikki is amazing at her job.
