Marc Izard, a 43-year-old wrestling fan from the United Kingdom, was found dead in Las Vegas on April 18 during WrestleMania 42 weekend. Izard had been reported missing in the days leading up to the tragic discovery.
As per the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Izard passed away in the 1730 block of Las Vegas Boulevard South, between East St. Louis Avenue and Oakley Boulevard. The Clark County coroner’s office confirmed his death on Monday afternoon, with the cause and manner of death still pending.
Natalya Helped Raise Awareness
WWE superstar Natalya had helped raise awareness about Izard’s disappearance through social media. On April 25, she shared details about his last known whereabouts.
“His last known sighting was leaving the arena after SmackDown on April 17. His last photo was taken with me at my signing. Marc traveled from the UK and has not made it home or been in contact since,” Natalya wrote.
WrestleMania 42 Weekend in Las Vegas
Izard had traveled from the UK to attend WWE’s biggest weekend of the year. WWE SmackDown took place on April 17, followed by WrestleMania 42 and WWE Raw between April 18 and April 20, all held in Las Vegas.
