  • Inaugural Women\’s Tag Champions Crowned On Dynamite

    An unexpected crowning on Dynamite.

AEW presented the annual Winter is Coming special of Dynamite from Gateway Center Arena in College Park, Georgia, tonight. The show opened with the finals of the Women\’s Tag Team Championship tournament.

The duo of Harley Cameron & Willow Nightingale squared off against Mina Shirakawa & Toni Storm in the opening match of the night. Shirakawa and Cameron started the bout, and it wasn\’t long before we got a brawl with all four contestants in the ring.

After an impressive showing, the four women once again found themselves facing each other in the ring at the same time. The Timeless Love Bombs were able to get the advantage, and Toni delivered the Storm Zero on Harley in what many thought would be the ending of the bout.

Willow, however, somehow managed to break the fall. Nightingale then brought the Timeless one out of the ring with her and took the former AEW Women\’s Champion out with a big DDT on the floor.

Back in the ring, Shirakawa continued battling Cameron and delivered a number of moves. Harley managed to stay in the match and got the upper hand with an inverted DDT at the last second. She then tagged in her partner, and Nightingale finally delivered a Doctor Bomb on Mina to get the win for her team.

The inaugural Women\’s Tag Team Champions were interviewed by Renee Paquette after the bout. The Timeless Love Bombs then congratulated them in the ring to end the segment.

  • AEW Women\’s Tag Title Tournament Finals Set for Winter Is Coming

A couple of new matches have been announced for the Winter Is Coming special of Dynamite next week.

Tony Khan had previously announced that Samoa Joe would be defending his AEW Title against Eddie Kingston at the special, after the latter had called out the World Champion.

This week\’s episode of Dynamite then saw the duo of Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa, known as Timeless Love Bombs, squaring off against Megan Bayne & Marina Shafir in the second semifinal of the AEW Women\’s Tag Team title tournament.

The ending of this bout featured Luther making his return as Santa Claus. He brought a shoe wrapped as a gift with him, which Toni Storm used to take down Shafir and win the match.

The Love Bombs will now face Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron, known as Babes of Wrath, in the finals of the tournament to determine the Inaugural Women\’s tag champions next week.

This wasn\’t the only match announced for the show tonight as the company confirmed that  ‘Hangman’ Adam Page will be taking on Powerhouse Hobbs and Katsuyori Shibata of The Opps in a tag team match at the show.

Page\’s tag team partner has not been announced as of this writing, but latest events indicate that it could be none other than his arch-rival Swerve Strickland.

  • AEW Tag Team Debuts New Entrance On Dynamite

Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa are officially a team.

The duo known as Timeless Love Bombs squared off against Alex Windsor & Riho in a first-round match of the AEW Women\’s Tag Team Championship Tournament on tonight\’s episode of Dynamite.

Mina and Toni debuted a new entrance for this bout, which included a new theme music and complementing dance moves to go with it:

The ending of this first round match saw Storm and Shirakawa delivering a double hip attack to their opponents. Toni then hooked Windsor for a Storm Zero while Mina kept Riho at bay, leading to the Love Bombs\’ victory.

AEW Women\’s Tag Team Title Tournament

Marina Shafir, who replaced an injured Penelope Ford had teamed with Megan Bayne to defeat TayJay in a previous first round match.

The duo of Bayne and Shafir will now face Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa in the first semi-final of the tournament. The second semi-final will similarly see Julia Hart and Skye Blue squaring off against Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron.

The Timeless Love Bombs are the favorites to win this tournament to crown the inaugural AEW Women\’s tag team champions. The team receiving an official theme and entrance only further strengthens their claim at the newly created belts.

  • Returning Star And More Included In AEW Women\’s Tag Team Title Tournament

AEW has revealed the tournament brackets for crowing of Inaugural AEW Women’s Tag Team Champions, with a couple of interesting names in the mix.

This week\’s episode of Dynamite featured the return of Athena, who confronted Mercedes Mone in a backstage segment. The ROH Women\’s Champion had been off TV since the Death Before Dishonor PPV in August.

Mercedes was still reeling from her 12 belts celebration being ruined earlier by Kris Statlander, who also accepted Mone\’s challenge for a Full Gear match.

Athena proposed an alliance with the TBS Champion so the two of them can go after the Women\’s Tag titles. The allure of another belt was too much for Último Moné, and she accepted the proposal.

The company later revealed the full brackets for the tournament, which will see the newly formed team of Mone and Athena going against Willow Nightingale & Harley Cameron in a first-round matchup.

    https://media.sescoops.com/uploads/2025/10/\"https://media.sescoops.com/uploads/2025/10/\"

Other first-round matches include Queen Aminata & Jamie Hayter vs. Sisters of Sin, Alex Windsor & Riho vs. Toni Storm & Mina Shirakawa, and Top Gods vs. TayJay.

The tournament will officially kick off at next week\’s episode of the Wednesday night show. While additional dates have not been confirmed for it, it\’s likely that the finals will take place at the Full Gear PPV on November 22.

  • Mercedes Mone Wins 11th Title At WrestleDream With A Twist

Mercedes Mone has got her wish, but in an unusual way.

The AEW star went into tonight\’s WrestleDream PPV holding 10 different championship belts. She was tied with Ultimo Dragon for holding the most titles concurrently in professional wrestling.

The reigning TBS Champion had announced that she\’ll be holding an open challenge for the AEW title at the PPV. She made her entrance on the show right after the AEW Women\’s Championship match between Kris Statlander and Toni Storm ended.

Mercedes Mone congratulated Statlander on retaining her title before telling her to get the hell out of her ring. The two champions had a brief confrontation before Statlander decided to leave the arena.

The former WWE star then reiterated her challenge, which was answered by ROH Interim Women’s World Television Champion Mina Shirakawa.

Shirakawa put on a great fight, but in the end, Mone\’s tactics proved too much for her. The TBS Champion was able to pin the Japanese star by putting her feet on the ropes for the advantage.

The win means Mone is now in the possession of the 11th belt she needed to break the record of Ultimo Dragon. Mercedes will still have to beat the original champion Red Velvet when she returns to action to become the Undisputed champion.

Though this win doesn\’t seem to have ended Mone\’s quest. After the interaction earlier in the PPV, the wrestling veteran has challenged Kris Statlander for the Women\’s Championship at the Full Gear PPV next month.

  • ROH Champion Injured At All In Texas

A current ROH champion suffered an injury during All In Texas.

The latest AEW PPV featured a Women\’s Gauntlet match with a future shot at the Women\’s World Title on the line. The ending of the bout saw Athena pinning Mina Shirakawa after hitting an O-Face.

Athena then appeared on this week\’s episode of Dynamite, interrupting the current Women\’s Champion Toni Storm. Storm was delivering her victory speech after defeating Mercedes Mone at the show this past Saturday.

The Forever ROH Women\’s Champion talked about winning the Gauntlet match and claimed that not only Luther but also Shirakawa was out of her way.

Announcer Tony Schiavone later provided an update on these comments, revealing that Mina suffered a broken hand during the ending sequence of the All In match.

The injury comes at a troubling time for AEW, as Mina Shirakawa was crowned the Interim ROH Women\’s TV Champion at Supercard of Honor last week due to Red Velvet\’s injury.

Now Shirakawa getting injured herself will force the company to change their plans once again. Based on how long she will stay out of action, the officials could potentially strip her of the belt and put it on someone else.

  • Mina Shirakawa Wins Interim ROH Women’s TV Title at Supercard of Honor

ROH Supercard of Honor took place at the Esports Stadium Arlington in Arlington, Texas and saw a major title win take place. During the show, an Interim ROH Women’s World Television Championship 4-Way Match was held featuring Miyu Yamashita, Yuka Sakazaki, Persephone, and Mina Shirakawa. When the dust was settled, it was Shirikawa standing tall with the gold.

    https://twitter.com/TalonWulf98/status/1943854146475397417

Red Velvet is the ROH Women\’s TV Champion, and has held the gold for close to a year. Though she was scheduled to defend at Supercard of Honor, an injury forced her to withdraw from the show. Now, the lineal ROH Women\’s TV Title and the Interim Championship will be unified when the time is right.

Since debuting in AEW, Shirakawa has quickly gained popularity, though this marks her first taste of gold under Tony Khan. It remains to be seen if she\’ll hold the gold once Red Velvet is back, or if another woman in AEW/ROH can dethrone the popular Japanese wrestler.

  • Championship Match And More Announced For Dynamite 300

AEW has announced a couple of big matches for next week\’s episode of Dynamite.

The wrestling promotion will be celebrating the 300th episode of their Premiere weekly show at the July 2 episode of Dynamite from the Toyota Arena in Ontario, Canada next week.

The company has announced that the Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada will be in action at the event, and he\’ll be going up against none other than Kota Ibushi.

This comes only days after Ibushi made his wrestling return during this past Saturday\’s Collision, after nearly 2 years of TV absence. He made his in-ring debut for the company this week, defeating Trent Beretta in a singles match at the June 25 Dynamite.

This isn\’t the only match announced for the show. The promotion has also confirmed that the TBS Champion Mercedes Mone will be defending her title against Mina Shirakawa next Wednesday night.

Both of the champions announced for the show are set to compete in big matches at the upcoming All In: Texas event on July 12. Okada will be facing arch-rival and reigning International Champion Kenny Omega. Both titles will be on the line for this unification bout.

Mone, on the other hand, would be looking to add another belt to her collection when she challenges Toni Storm for the AEW Women\’s World Title at the show. If Mercedes is planned to win the bout, it\’s possible that she\’ll drop the TBS belt on Dynamite 300 before the PPV.

  • Watch: Toni Storm Shares Kiss With Mina Shirakawa After Double or Nothing 2025 Title Match

Love was in the air at AEW Double or Nothing.

The company presented its latest PPV from Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona, tonight. The show included some chaotic matches, including the return of Anarchy in the Arena.

The event also featured Mina Shirakawa competing in her first AEW PPV match after becoming a full-time member of the roster, once again challenging Toni Storm for the Women\’s World title.

Shirakawa worked on Storm\’s leg throughout the night and almost won the match after locking the current champion in a Figure Four towards the end of the bout.

Toni somehow managed to break the submission by reaching the ropes. The two stars then traded near falls before the champion managed to deliver the Storm Zero for the win.

The most interesting moment of the segment came after the bell however, as Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa put their differences aside and shared a kiss for old times\’ sake. Shirakawa also kissed Storm\’s bad knee before leaving.

This wasn\’t the only women\’s match of the night as the TBS Champion Mercedes Mone took on Jamie Hayter in the opening match of the PPV event.

The finals of the Women\’s Owen Hart tournament saw Mone defeating Hayter. With the win, the TBS champion has earned the right to challenge Storm for the Women\’s World title and potentially unify the two belts.

  • Kairi Sane & Mina Shirakawa Train In Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with Matt Riddle

Mina Shirakawa and Kairi Sane may be on opposite sides of the AEW-WWE \’war\’ but came together to train in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with former WWE Superstar Matt Riddle. The pair trained with Riddle at the RUDOS Brazilian Jiu Jitsu facility, run by the former WWE United States Champion.

Riddle is not the only notable name who helps train fighters at the facility. Shayna Baszler, who was recently released from WWE, also works as a \’professor\’ at RUDOS, as does WWE Raw Superstar Karrion Kross. The facility offers \”World Class Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu led by experienced and accomplished instructors\” for novices and professional fighters, according to the company\’s website.

Back in the ring, Shirakawa recently earned herself a Women\’s World Title match, a contest that will put her back in the ring with \’Timeless\’ Toni Storm. While Sane has yet to compete for WWE this year, fans can expect a hard-hitting style from the Pirate Princess thanks to her training.

  • Mina Shirakawa\’s AEW Return Date Confirmed

AEW has confirmed the return date for Mina Shirakawa.

The company had announced that the Women\’s World Champion Toni Storm will be competing in a four-way title eliminator at Dynamite Beach Break on May 14 to determine her next challenger.

The returning Skye Blue was announced as one of the participants of the bout, the other two spots had initially been left open.

The two names filling the spots were confirmed this week as Tony Khan announced that Japanese stars AZM and Mina Shirakawa will also be in the match:

Shirakawa previously challenged Storm for the Women\’s title at the 2024 Forbidden Door PPV. She also had a rivalry with Toni\’s former protege, Mariah May later on.  The female star announced her intention to leave Japan and become a regular member of the AEW roster earlier this year. This will be her first appearance for the company since then.

AZM does not have the same amount of history with the American promotion. Though she did face Toni Storm during a Collision episode last year. The 22-year-old picked up a huge victory at NJPW Resurgence 2025 this month, defeating Mercedes Mone and Mina Shirakawa to become the new NJPW STRONG Women\’s Champion.

The 25-year-old Skye Blue will be looking to make an impact as this will be her return match after spending almost 10 months out of action due to a foot injury. Her last match came at a July 2024 episode of Collision.

  • Update On Mina Shirakawa\’s AEW Future

Mina Shirakawa will be becoming a full time member of the AEW roster soon.

The female star announced her intentions to leave Stardom and become a full-time member of the American promotion in March, but she hasn\’t made any appearances for Tony Khan\’s promotion since then.

Fightful Select recently provided an update on the former Artist of Stardom Champion\’s future with the company. According to them, Shirakawa\’s announced move to United States is upon us. While the former champion hasn\’t been seen on AEW programming for some time, her return to the company is imminent.

The site revealed that Mina Shirakawa has been discussed for an AEW appearance over the next couple of weeks. After impressing AEW officials in her previous run with the company, she is set to receive \’an immediate push\’ upon her comeback.

The Japanese star had been involved in a storyline with Mariah May and \’Timeless\’ Toni Storm when she first made her debut for the promotion in 2024.

She originally challenged Storm for the AEW Women\’s title in an unsuccessful attempt. She later formed a tag team with May. Their partnership didn\’t last long as Mariah turned on Shirakawa after her heel turn.

Mariah May has since been taken off TV with reports suggesting that she is planning a WWE move. It\’d be interesting to see where Mina fits on AEW programming amid this situation.

  • Mercedes Moné Loses NJPW Strong Women\’s Title to AZM At Resurgence

Mercedes Moné is one of wrestling\’s most dominant women but now the CEO has lost one of her championships. At NJPW Resurgence, AZM captured the NJPW Strong Women\’s Championship from Moné in a triple threat match that included Mina Shirakawa.

The finish of the match saw the three wrestlers trade pin attempts before Moné was taken out outside of the ring. AZM rolled up Mina Shirakawa to get the 1-2-3 and win the gold. After the match, AZM grabbed the microphone to cut a promo in Japanese before telling the fans \”I am so happy!\”

Moné was the fourth holder of the NJPW Strong Women\’s Title and had held the gold since Forbidden Door 2024, where she defeated Stephanie Vaquer. Despite this loss, Mone remains the AEW TBS Champion, as well as the Undisputed British Women\’s Champion for Revolution Pro Wrestling.

Shirakawa has been a significant presence in STARDOM, contributing to the promotion’s growth and success.

Her potential transition to AEW aligns with the company’s strategy to enhance its women’s division by incorporating international talent.

As of now, Shirakawa has not made any public statements regarding her departure or future plans.

  • Mercedes Moné Wins Rev Pro British Women\’s Title At Wrestle Dynasty

  • Mercedes Moné Vs. Mina Shirakawa Winner Takes All Match Set For Wrestle Dynasty

Either Mercedes Moné or Mina Shirakawa will leave Wrestle Dynasty a double champion after agreeing to face off at the January 5, show. At this past weekend\’s NJPW Strong Style Evolved, The CEO succesfully defended her NJPW Strong Women\’s Championship against Hazuki.

After the match, Moné was confronted by Shirakawa, who challenged her to a NJPW Strong Women\’s Title match for Wrestle Dynasty. Moné accepted, but said Mina’s RevPro British Women’s Title must also be on the line. The pair agreed to the Winner Takes All showdown and ended the segment with a dance.

  • Mina Shirakawa Shows Off Nasty Lump After Full Gear Heartbreak

Mina Shirakawa was left feeling worse for wear after Mariah May attempted to betray her at AEW Full Gear 2024 last weekend. During the pair\’s celebration of May\’s championship reign, the AEW Women\’s World Champion attempted to attack her friend. Shirakawa, seeing the betrayal coming, ducked, kicked a champagne glass out of May\’s hand, and speared her off the ramp through a table.

Mina may have been the one standing tall at Full Gear but she hardly left the show unfazed. In addition to the heartbreak of being betrayed by her longtime friend and tag team partner. On X, the Japanese star showed the nasty lump on her head she suffered at the pay-per-view.

Shirakawa is ready to bring the fight to her former friend and the pair are expected to feud over the AEW Women\’s World Championship. Mina has yet to hold gold since arriving in AEW while May has held the title since All In: London, where she destroyed another former ally in \’Timeless\’ Toni Storm. The New Zealand-Australian star recently \’retired\’ from professional wrestling, though many, including Tony Khan, have doubts that the former champion is truly gone for good.

In the meantime, Shirakawa is poised to feud with May, and is wise to her former friend\’s schemes as shown by her quick thinking at Full Gear. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on this feud, with May already vowing to get revenge on the Japanese star.

  • Mariah May Vows Revenge After Mina Shirakawa’s Betrayal

Mariah May’s triumphant celebration as AEW Women’s World Champion took an unexpected turn at Full Gear 2024 when her alliance with Mina Shirakawa came to a shocking end. Now, May has addressed the betrayal that left fans in disbelief.

On November 24, May posted a chilling statement on Twitter, writing: “I want Mina.” The tweet, accompanied by striking images of the moment Shirakawa speared her off the entrance ramp and through a table, underscored the intensity of their fallout.

The dramatic incident unfolded during what was meant to be a celebratory segment highlighting May’s reign as AEW Women’s Champion. Her victory over Toni Storm at All In 2024 had established her as a dominant force in the division, and the event at the Prudential Center in Newark was supposed to showcase her success. Instead, it ended in chaos.

May, who boldly declared during the segment that she was “killing the AEW Women’s Division,” attempted to betray Shirakawa. However, her plan backfired spectacularly when Shirakawa retaliated, sending May crashing through a table in one of AEW’s most memorable betrayals.

The fallout has shattered the once-strong partnership between May and Shirakawa, who had been nearly inseparable since Shirakawa’s return to AEW television. The betrayal serves as a stark reminder that alliances in AEW are rarely as stable as they appear.

Fans are now left wondering: will Mariah May get the revenge she seeks, or has Mina Shirakawa firmly positioned herself as a new threat to the AEW Women’s Division?

  • Mina Shirakawa Returns On AEW Dynamite

Mina Shirakawa has made her comeback to the land of All Elite during this week\’s edition of AEW Dynamite. After weeks of promotion, Shirakawa appeared in a backstage segment and stated that she wanted to celebrate with Mariah May after she defends the AEW Women\’s World Championship against Anna Jay. Harley Cameron arrived and challenged Shirakawa to a match on Saturday\’s AEW Collision which Mina Shirakawa accepted.

Earlier this year, Mina Shirakawa made her debut in AEW. She had a successful in-ring debut against Anna Jay. Mina was eventually challenged by then AEW Women\’s World Champion \’Timeless\’ Toni Storm for a match at AEW Forbidden Door which she accepted.

The match was not only for the gold but also to gain custody of Mariah May, who was appeared to be confused of whom to support. However, after Storm defended her title they squashed the beef and joined forces together. Eventually, May turned on Storm and captured the title while Shirakawa made her return to AEW during AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam to reluctantly celebrate May\’s title win.

Saturday’s show is being taped Thursday night, November 14 in Albany, New York.

Mariah May will be defending the AEW Women’s World Championship against Anna Jay in a no DQ match. The stipulation says if Jay loses, she cannot challenge for the title again as long as May holds it.

The Acclaimed face LFI’s Dralistico and Rush will battle for the final spot in the four-way Tag Team title match at Full Gear.

Meanwhile, Johnny TV will go one-on-one with Daniel Garcia on Collision.

The advertised lineup for the Saturday, November 16 AEW Collision:

    • AEW Women’s World Champion Mariah May defends against Anna Jay in a no DQ match
    • Full Gear contender’s series: The Acclaimed (Max Caster & Anthony Bowens) vs. LFI (Rush & Dralistico
    • Mina Shirakawa vs. Harley Cameron
    • Johnny TV vs. Daniel Garcia
  • Mina Shirakawa Confirms AEW Return On (2/11) Collision

Mina Shirakawa is on her way back to All Elite Wrestling, over two months as the Japanese sensation last competed for the promotion. On the latest episode of AEW Collision, a vignette aired hyping up the return of Mina Shirakawa. In the video, Mina states \”Do you really want Mina? Get ready. Mina is coming.\”

This isn\’t the first vignette hyping the return of the 36-year-old wrestler. On the September 18, episode of AEW Dynamite, a vignette aired hyping her return that would take place at the Grand Slam edition of Dynamite. That return saw Shirakawa uncomfortably celebrate a victory from AEW Women\’s World Champion Mariah May.

Shirakawa boasts an impressive 5-0 record on AEW TV, but came up short against Toni Storm at AEWxNJPW: Forbidden Door in June of this year. Her most recent AEW match took place on the August 30, 2024, edition of AEW Rampage where she defeated Missa Kate.

In her most recent appearances, Shirakawa has tried to be supportive of Mariah May, but has clearly been uncomfortable with her heel turn and her reign as Women\’s World Champion. It remains to be seen if Shirakawa is destined to one day step in the ring against her long-time friend and tag team partner, but fans can expect to see more from the Japanese star in the near future.

  • Mariah May: AEW Asked Me To Stop Kissing Mina Shirakawa

Mariah May was encouraged to stop with public displays of affection with Mina Shirakawa and Toni Storm by AEW, according to the British wrestler herself. Speaking on the Wrestling with Freddie podcast, May recalled the backstage reaction to her locking lips with her long-time tag-team partner Shirakawa during an episode of AEW programming.

\”It was not pitched. We just did it. Mina and I are extremely close. We’ve always been very close in Stardom. We just did it. The next time around, they were like, ‘Hey, can you guys stop kissing?’\”

May blamed the request on an \”archaic view\” of things, adding that it\’s her choice who she kisses and she would say if she was not comfortable. The number-one contender for the AEW Women\’s World Champion added that her kissing Mina earned gripes from \”the usual suspects.\”

\”‘Oh my God. This is setting women’s wrestling back so much.’ It’s like, first of all, no one made us do it. We chose to do it... Like I said, if I don’t want to do something, I won’t.\”

May and Mina kissed shortly after Shirakawa\’s arrival in AEW earlier this year. The two also shared a three-way kiss with Toni Storm at AEWxNJPW: Forbidden Door after Storm retained her title against Shirakawa. Storm and May had previously kissed on AEW programming.

Listen to Mariah May on Wrestling with Freddie

    What\’s To Come?

May has had little reason to kiss anyone ever since turning on Storm following her win in the Owen Hart Women\’s Foundation Tournament. The former allies will face off at AEW All In: London 2024 this Sunday inside Wembley Stadium. The show will be a homecoming for May though she has yet to compete inside Wembley. The match will be Storm\’s second match in the Stadium after competing at last year\’s All In: London pay-per-view.

Stay tuned to SE Scoops for all the latest on AEW All In: London 2024 including breaking news and match results from this weekend\’s event.

  • Mariah May On Toni Storm-Mina Shirakawa Kiss: \”I Can Take Them Both!\”

AEW\’s Mariah May is looking forward to the future after locking lips with Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa at Forbidden Door 2024.

Storm and Shirakawa faced off at the third annual AEWxNJPW: Forbidden Door event for Storm\’s Women\’s World Title. Going into the match there was speculation as to where Mariah May\’s loyalties would lie. The British wrestler is a long-time friend and tag-team partner of Shirakawa\’s but also serves as the \’understudy of AEW\’s \’Timeless\’ star.

    Toni Storm On The Kiss

May stayed relatively uninvolved at ringside, leaving it to the two women in the ring to tell the story. In the end, Storm retained her title after delivering a Storm Zero finisher to Shirakawa.

After the match, May was able to bridge the gap between her two allies. The three women shared a handshake, followed by a hug and a three-way kiss before leaving the ring together as a united front.

Speaking after the match, Storm was asked if she\’s been able to put aside her differences with Shirakawa.

\”When I first met Mariah\’s friend Mina, I was not impressed. In fact, I was quite pissed. But now, after touching those cushiony lips, I can honestly say that I feel this is the start of a very beautiful relationship.\”

    Toni Storm.

    Mariah May Responds

This three-way kiss is a huge victory for Mariah May who has struggled to remain aligned with both women in this feud. When asked for her own comments, she said:

    \”I can take them both.\”

    Mariah May.

Shirakawa was also asked for her comments, and admitted that at first she did not rate Toni Storm. Now though, she has grown very fond of the AEW Women\’s World Champion. It remains to be seen what\’s next, but these three could prove to be a dominant trio, if they remain a united front.

  • Toni Storm & Mina Shirakawa \’Kiss It Out\’ At Forbidden Door

Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa went above and beyond showing respect for one another at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, and it all came courtesy of Mariah May.

Toni Storm\’s \”love triangle\” with Mariah May and Shirakawa has arguably been the best told story on AEW television over recent weeks and this contention ended up having a happy ending.

The eccentric Storm took on the wild child Shirakawa one-on-one for the AEW Women\’s Championship at the PPV and it was Storm who ultimately retained her title by defeating her challenger. However, the most talked about aspect of this match may be what happened afterwards as Mina offered Toni her hand in respect. May watched on, who remained neutral during the fight and was dressed reminiscint to Miss Elizabeth at WrestleMania V.

Storm ended up shaking it, but Mariah wanted more than that between her two friends. Akin to The Best Friends of old, instead of \”hugging it out\” May, Storm and Shirakawa \”kissed it out\” as all three smooched one another at once.

This turn of the tables was quite different from all that went down on the pre-show to Forbidden Door. May had her Owen Hart Cup quarterfinals match against Saraya and she nearly lost, but did get a roll-up pin victory against the former Paige. After her win, Storm and Shirakawa both came out to celebrate but May had to split the two up from fighting with one another. Now all is harmonious between the three, but for how long? If May ultimately ends up winning the Owen Hart Cup tournament, she\’ll have a ticket to ALL IN in Wembley to face Storm if she\’s still the champion by Labor Day weekend.

  • Toni Storm Makes Surprise STARDOM Appearance To Challenge Mina Shirakawa At Forbidden Door

AEW Women\’s World Champion Toni Storm recently issued a challenge to STARDOM wrestler Mina Shirakawa.

Storm made an appearance during the June 2 STARDOM event through a video as she challenged the Japanese wrestler for the upcoming AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door pay-per-view later this month. Toni Storm was featured with, \”STARDOM legend\” Mariah May. She said that she had her eyes on Mina, who has made appearances in AEW in the past. She said:

\”Hello, STARDOM, this is your AEW Women\’s World Champion and STARDOM legend \’Timeless\’ Toni Storm and this is my trusty protege and STARDOM legend, Ms. Mariah May. Mina-san, I see you\’ve been at AEW when I\’ve not been around but I\’ve been watching you. Oh, I\’ve been watching you.\”

Toni Storm said that wanted to square off against Mina Shirakawa and she wouldn\’t have to knock or ring the doorbell as she has kept the forbidden door open.

\”You do not need to knock, you do not need to ring the doorbell, because I have opened the forbidden door and I want you. Don\’t worry, any friend of Mariah\’s is a friend of mine. I just want to see what kind of woman you really are.\”

While Toni issued the challenge, Mariah didn\’t seem to be impressed. Toni\’s protege Mariah May has been closely linked with Mina and teamed up with her. They have even shared a kiss on AEW. The match hasn\’t been made official yet but the relationship between Mariah and Mina might come into play during the match.

Toni Storm and Mariah May made STARDOM appearance in April

In April, Storm showed up at the STARDOM American Dream event in Philadelphia\’s 2300 Arena (better known as ECW Arena). During that appearance, she had given her flowers to Mariah May and said she was proud of her understudy. That night, she also had eyes on Mina Shirakawa and told her that \”the Forbidden Door is always open.\”

Toni Storm is coming off a title defense against Serena Deeb at AEW Double Or Nothing. She is likely to face Mina Shirakawa at AEW x NJPW: Forbidden which is set to take place on June 30 at UBS Arena in Elmont, New York.
