  • Elio LeFleur Wins WWE Speed Championship in Triple Threat

    Elio LeFleur defeated Jasper Troy and Eli Knight in a Triple Threat match on the February 24 edition of WWE NXT to become the new WWE Speed Champion.

    The match was a special seven-minute Speed Championship Triple Threat due to the format, announced by Interim NXT General Manager Robert Stone.

    LeFleur pinned Jasper Troy to win the title, ending Troy\’s reign at 106 days.

    The first-ever Triple Threat match for the WWE Speed Championship saw Eli Knight and Elio LeFleur work together at points to neutralize Troy’s power advantage. LeFleur\’s victory marks his first WWE title.

    Prior to signing with the promotion, he built his reputation across the European independent wrestling scene under the name Aigle Blanc.

    WWE NXT introduced incoming wrestler Elio LeFleur via a vignette that aired during the New Year’s Evil special episode on Tuesday night.

    The promotional package hyped LeFleur as a dynamic French high-flyer coming soon to the brand, emphasizing his athletic, lucha-influenced wrestling style. The vignette showcased his aerial offense and positioned him as a fresh addition to NXT’s men’s division for 2026.

    Elio LeFleur is the new ring name for French luchador Aigle Blanc, who signed with WWE after competing on the European independent wrestling scene. His character presentation maintains the stylish, high-flying approach and “white eagle” imagery carried over conceptually from his previous persona.

    The New Year’s Evil platform provided a strong introduction for the international signee, giving NXT audiences their first look at one of the brand’s newest acquisitions. LeFleur joins a growing roster of international talent helping strengthen NXT’s men’s division heading into 2026.
