Logan Paul Mocks Conor McGregor’s UFC 329 Loss, Wants Boxing Bout

WWE Superstar Logan Paul has seized on Conor McGregor’s 69-second UFC 329 comeback loss to Max Holloway to unleash a brutal public takedown.

McGregor’s long-awaited UFC return ended almost as soon as it began. He appeared to suffer a knee injury while throwing a jumping roundhouse kick, slipped repeatedly, briefly got back to his feet, then could not continue after attempting another kick. Referee Mike Beltran waved off the bout at the 69-second mark.

‘The Maverick’ posted a live reaction video where he gloated about winning $30,000 betting against the Irish fighter and challenged him to a boxing match instead.

Logan Paul wasted no time reacting. In a live reaction video posted to his Instagram, the influencer-turned-athlete tore into McGregor while watching the fight unfold in real time.

“Easiest money of my life, dog. This is embarrassing. He looks slow, he looks lazy. Oh my God, look at the odds. It’s not even over. Holloway to 95%. F*cking degenerate, pathetic. I have nothing nice to say other than I won $30K. When you’re done with whatever this is, Conor, we should box, bro. You might have a better chance,” Paul said.

The callout nods to Paul’s own crossover combat career, sidetracked by injury of late. He recently detailed his recovery from triceps surgery and earlier downplayed the setback as the “least inconvenient” injury he could have suffered.

Paul has offered fans an inside look at his rehab process, sharing his recovery routine following the operation as he works his way back to full health.

Whether McGregor responds to the callout remains to be seen. For now, Paul is content to celebrate a payday at his rival’s expense.
