  • Kyle Fletcher Can Break AEW Record Set by Cody Rhodes at Full Gear

Kyle Fletcher is currently tied with Cody Rhodes for a particular record in All Elite Wrestling but the former could potentially usurp the latter this weekend. At AEW Full Gear 2025, Fletcher will defend his TNT championship against Mark Briscoe and he can enter unprecedented territory if he does get his ideal outcome on Saturday. Right now the Don Callis family member is tied with Cody Rhodes for consecutive defenses of the TNT championship across a single reign, with both being tied at eight defenses apiece.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WZ7veSmq3vY

While speaking with TMZ’s Inside The Ring, Fletcher touched on that looming chance to cement himself in the history books and it seems to create a multiplicity of emotions for him. While Fletcher did mention some level of imposter syndrome associated with leaping over former TNT champions like Miro and Darby Allin, Kyle Fletcher also was able to puff his chest out a bit. The TNT champion felt like accomplishing something that puts him above Cody Rhodes, who Fletcher said was probably the number one star in pro wrestling today is ‘very reassuring to me.’

Kyle Fletcher responds to Stevie Richards’ claims that Logan Paul is better than everyone in AEW

Kyle Fletcher recently fired back at Stevie Richards as the former WWE and ECW performer made some pretty big claims about Logan Paul’s abilities relative to many of his more experienced peers. The former WWE United States champion was described by Richards as being better than the entire AEW roster, and Richards also quipped that Paul was better than 98 percent of the performers contracted to WWE right now.

In the aforementioned interview with TMZ, Fletcher mentioned that he did not know if Richards was making these comments in a wholehearted way. While the TNT champion mentioned everyone is entitled to their opinion, Fletcher also described Richards’ opinion as ‘bulls**t’ in this particular context.

Fletcher felt like it was such an absurd thing to say considering the depth of incredible matches AEW has to the scale that he feels like he has a new match of the year contender with every subsequent week Fletcher sees All Elite Wrestling programming. Kyle Fletcher pointedly said he wasn’t trying to hate on Logan Paul and that the influencer was doing great things in the ring, but clearly there was vehement disagreement with Richards’ take there.

  • Stipulation Announced For Full Gear World Title Match

A stipulation has been added to the AEW Title match at Full Gear.

This week\’s Blood & Guts special of Dynamite featured a Falls Count Anywhere match between Hangman Adam Page and Powerhouse Hobbs.

The AEW Men\’s World Champion won the match after sending Hobbs through an electric table. He couldn\’t celebrate for long, however, as Samoa Joe and Katsuyori Shibata attacked Page right after.

Eddie Kingston and Hook made the save for Hangman, forcing the heels to retreat. Adam Page took the mic after this and proposed a steel cage stipulation for his title defence against Joe. Tony Khan then quickly made the decision official.

The latest episode of Dynamite saw Briscoe approaching Kyle Fletcher once again for a TNT title shot. He proposed the match for the upcoming PPV with a No DQ stipulation.

Don Callis intervened before Fletcher could agree to the bout, however. He added another twist to the whole thing, saying that Mark will have to join his faction if he loses the championship bout.

Apart from this, the company also announced a big six-man tag team match for the show. The bout will see Kenny Omega teaming with Jurassic Express to take on Josh Alexander and the Young Bucks, with the prize money of $1 million on the line.

  • World Title Match And More Confirmed For AEW Full Gear 2025

AEW has added two new championship matches to Full Gear.

The October 29 episode of Dynamite featured a #1 contender fatal four way tag match to determine the challengers for the tag team titles at the PPV.

The Young Bucks, FTR, Jurassic Express, and JetSpeed competed in this bout. The ending of the fight saw Kevin Knight delivering a big UFO splash on Nick Jackson. Before he could get the pin, however, FTR swooped in and delivered a Shatter Machine on Knight for the win.

A similar fatal four-way took place later in the show to determine the challenger for Hangman Page\’s AEW World title. Samoa Joe, HOOK, Bobby Lashley, and Ricochet were the participants of this bout.

The ending saw Lashley chasing Ricochet up the ramp, allowing Joe to lock HOOK in the Coquina Clutch for the victory. Though Samoa Joe couldn\’t celebrate for long as Adam Page, disguised as Tony Schiavone attacked him after the bout.

AEW Full Gear Updated Match Card

  • Mercedes Mone States History Will Repeat Itself vs. Kris Statlander in Big AEW Full Gear 2025

Mercedes Mone is confident that she can get it done again against Kris Statlander at this year’s AEW Full Gear and referenced their match at last year’s tentpole event to underscore her point. On her personal X page, Mone posted a video clip of her match with the current AEW women’s champion from their showdown at Full Gear 2024. The reigning TBS champion mentioned in a tweet how history will repeat itself with the corresponding full match YouTube link that saw Mone best Statlander last year.

That was one of two victories that Mone was able to get over Statlander in 2024 with ‘Ultimo Mone’ thwarting the intergalactic talent’s pair of bids for the TBS championship. This year’s Full Gear match comes with even bigger stakes and atmosphere as this contest is a champ vs champ clash with Mone and Statlander bringing in the TBS and AEW championships, respectively. The matchup takes place in Newark, New Jersey on November 22 at the Prudential Center.

Mercedes Mone vs. Kris Statlander AEW Full Gear 2025 matchup overview

The matchup was initially set on the October 22nd episode of AEW Dynamite when Kris Statlander responded in a game way to the gauntlet that Mercedes Mone had laid down for this massive matchup. With Mone collecting new hardware seemingly on a weekly basis and consistently authoring new chapters in her story, the AEW title is one that has eluded her so far. The motivation would presumably be compounded by Mone’s failed AEW title bid against Toni Storm at AEW All In during the Summer.

For Statlander, the motivation to keep the title is obviously there but the adage of third time’s the charm could ring true if Statlander gets her ideal outcome in the weeks to come. Can Mone claim an unprecedented 13th concurrent championship or will the Galaxy\’s Greatest Alien punctuate her long awaited, history making AEW title reign with a win over one of the biggest names among this generation of wrestlers?

  • Champion vs. Champion: Kris Statlander vs. Mercedes Moné Official For AEW Full Gear

The first marquee match for AEW\’s next pay-per-view is set, and it\’s a massive Champion vs. Champion showdown.

On the October 22nd episode of AEW Dynamite, AEW Women\’s World Champion Kris Statlander officially accepted a challenge from TBS Champion Mercedes \”12 Belts\” Moné. The two will now face each other at AEW Full Gear.

The challenge was first issued by Moné following the recent WrestleDream PPV. Tonight on Dynamite, during a segment celebrating her collection of 12 championship titles, Moné was confronted by Statlander, who made the match official with her acceptance.

This high-stakes bout pits the company\’s two top women\’s singles champions against one another. It\’s a match with significant history, as Moné already holds two victories over Statlander from 2024 in bouts for the TBS Championship. However, this will be Moné\’s new attempt to capture the one title that has eluded her in the company: the AEW Women\’s World Championship.

AEW Full Gear takes place on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

  • Fan Shoved At Full Gear Details Heartfelt Response By Jon Moxley

A fan shoved at AEW Full Gear by Marina Shafir has shared how Jon Moxley made her experience a positive one at the recent pay-per-view. In the main event, Moxley defended the AEW World Championship against Orange Cassidy. After the match, Moxley and his Death Riders allies fought many AEW stars, including Darby Allin who rammed a car into the truck the faction was using to escape.

As usual, Moxley arrived for the match from the crowd with Shafir accompanying the AEW World Champion. Fans watching the show noticed an incident during the entrance where a fan fell to her knees when Moxley was near.

That fan has come forward on X, saying that she fell over after being shoved back by Shafir. Fortunately, Moxley made sure to check on her and gave her a kiss on the forehead for good measure. The fan was 100% fine after the incident and was \”literally on cloud nine\” after this unique moment with the four-time and reigning AEW World Champion.

Moxley\’s actions turned what could\’ve been a PR nightmare for AEW into a moment this fan will never forget. While the leader of the Death Riders has been as vicious as it gets as of late, even trying to poison Cassidy after the match, Moxley once again proved his support for the fans. Tony Khan recently named Moxley as AEW\’s greatest star, and with interactions like these, fans can expect the reigning AEW World Champion in a high position for a long time to come.

  • Mina Shirakawa Shows Off Nasty Lump After Full Gear Heartbreak

Mina Shirakawa was left feeling worse for wear after Mariah May attempted to betray her at AEW Full Gear 2024 last weekend. During the pair\’s celebration of May\’s championship reign, the AEW Women\’s World Champion attempted to attack her friend. Shirakawa, seeing the betrayal coming, ducked, kicked a champagne glass out of May\’s hand, and speared her off the ramp through a table.

Mina may have been the one standing tall at Full Gear but she hardly left the show unfazed. In addition to the heartbreak of being betrayed by her longtime friend and tag team partner. On X, the Japanese star showed the nasty lump on her head she suffered at the pay-per-view.

Shirakawa is ready to bring the fight to her former friend and the pair are expected to feud over the AEW Women\’s World Championship. Mina has yet to hold gold since arriving in AEW while May has held the title since All In: London, where she destroyed another former ally in \’Timeless\’ Toni Storm. The New Zealand-Australian star recently \’retired\’ from professional wrestling, though many, including Tony Khan, have doubts that the former champion is truly gone for good.

In the meantime, Shirakawa is poised to feud with May, and is wise to her former friend\’s schemes as shown by her quick thinking at Full Gear. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on this feud, with May already vowing to get revenge on the Japanese star.

  • Tony Khan Invites Big Boom A.J. Back to AEW Following Full Gear Win

Tony Khan has extended the invitation to Big Boom! A.J. to return to AEW.

The TikTok star and one-half of The Costo Guys participated in the post-Full Gear 2024 media scrum after picking up a victory over QT Marshall during the PPV pre-show.

AJ, real name Andrew Befumo had previously announced that he had signed a one-match deal with the company but claimed that he was open to more opportunities if they came along.

The 48-year-old was asked what he thought about potentially returning to the company during the scrum, and the former indie wrestler said that he\’d love to be back if he\’s welcomed back:

\”I love it here. I do. I love it here. I loved every minute of this. If I’m welcomed back, I’m going to be back and I’m going to bring the Boom!\”

The AEW president Tony Khan who was sitting beside the social media star quickly extended an invitation saying that Befumo was welcomed back to his company.

While many fans initially questioned the involvement of the Costo Guys in an AEW story, the social media stars have proven their worth with all the buzz their involvement has generated for the promotion.

The duo of A.J. & Big Justice even brought in The Rizzler as a backup for their Full Gear encounter who got one of the biggest pops of the night. You can check out the reactions to Rizzler\’s appearance here.

  • Daniel Garcia Brings Back Old TNT Title Belt, Announces Entry Into Continental Classic

Daniel Garcia has declared his entry into the upcoming Continental Classic tournament after picking up a huge victory at tonight\’s Full Gear 2024 PPV.

The 26-year-old had set his sights on the TNT Championship after returning to the company and announcing his re-signing in Early October.

He challenged Jack Perry for the title at the latest AEW PPV. Perry tried to use his usual shenanigans to win the match. He distracted the referee by bringing the TNT title belt into the ring and low-blowed Garcia when the ref went to dispose the belt.

Daniel Garcia managed to kick out, however. He then delivered a couple of piledrivers to Perry and locked him into the Sharpshooter for the win.

    Daniel Garcia Makes Big Announcement

The new TNT Champion took part in the post-show media scrum after Full Gear 2024. Garcia got rid of the custom title belt Perry had hand-painted and brought back the older design for the title during his appearance.

The young star went on to announce his entry into the 2024 Continental Classic tournament. The competition will begin at this Wednesday\’s Dynamite on November 27.

DC has prior experience in the C2 tournament. He took part in the inaugural Continental Classic in 2023 as well. Garcia was in the blue league and he finished the tournament with three points.

Kazuchika Okada gets an automatic entry into the tournament as the defending Continental Champion. The full list of talents participating this year should be revealed on Wednesday.

  • Bobby Lashley Promises AEW Takeover After \”Fantastic\” PPV Debut

Bobby Lashley and the Hurt Syndicate are ready to take over AEW following the All Mighty\’s first victory at one of the company\’s pay-per-views. At AEW Full Gear, Lashley defeated Swerve Strickland via referee stoppage after trapping Swerve in the Hurt Lock. The win makes Lashley 2-0 in AEW after squashing opponents in a handicap match on Dynamite.

Speaking on the AEW Full Gear post-show media scrum, Lashley relished in his victory over the former AEW World Champion and promised big things to come.

\”I think it was fantastic. The crowd here was amazing and I like the chant \’We Hurt People.\’ It\’s good business. This group has been long overdue to start taking over and now that we\’ve gotten to AEW it is time to take over. We need to start holding these titles hostage.\”

The Hurt Syndicate has yet to hold gold in AEW since MVP\’s arrival in September, but as Lashley made clear, he plans on changing this. Before Full Gear, the All Mighty told The Lame Guys that he plans to be in the AEW World Championship picture by Grand Slam in February 2025.

Lashley has reached the pinnacle as World Champion in WWE and TNA and now plans to add AEW to the list. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Bobby Lashley and the Hurt Syndicate\’s plans to \’take over\’ All Elite Wrestling.

  • Mercedes Mone vs. Kris Statlander Makes Women\’s Wrestling Record For AEW At Full Gear 2024

Mercedes Mone and Kris Statlander made a new record for Women\’s matches in AEW at tonight\’s Full Gear PPV from Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

Statlander challenged the former WWE star for the TBS Championship. She previously held the title for 174 days and lost the belt at Full Gear 2023 in a triple threat match where she wasn\’t pinned.

Despite her best efforts, however, Kris was not able to dethrone Mone. The current champion won the match after biting her opponent’s leg and getting the pin afterward.

    Mercedes Mone Breaks Another Record

The Women\’s title match received praise from fans as one of the best in-ring encounters of the night but it wasn\’t the only reason which made it a noteworthy bout.

Ending at 19 minutes 15 seconds, the match became the longest women\’s match in the 5-year history of the company. The previous record was also held by Mone herself.

The former WWE champion had defeated Willow Nightingale in a hard-fought match at Double or Nothing in May. Mone won the TBS title in the match which ended at 18 minutes.

Mercedes Mone had broken her own previous record of the Forbidden Door 2024 match against Stephanie Vaquer at the time.

All the states clearly show that the Mandalorian star is proving to be a catalyst for big change in the women\’s division in AEW. She\’s helping provide them more opportunities to showcase their talent.

  • Mercedes Moné Praises AEW\’s Women, Confirms Wrestle Dynasty Role

Mercedes Moné had the toughest match of her AEW career at Full Gear, where she retained the AEW TBS Championship against Kris Statlander. Speaking on the post-show media scrum, the CEO praised Statlander and Willow Nightingale as two names in AEW to watch.

\”Everytime I wrestle these women in AEW, they\’re legit the best. For me, Willow is up there, but Kris, she has given me my hardest match that I\’ve ever had here in AEW.\”

Mone and Nightingale locked horns at AEW Double or Nothing 2024, which marked the CEO\’s first match for AEW. On that night, Mone won the TBS title from Nightingale and has held onto the gold ever since.

    Mercedes Mone on Wrestle Dynasty

With Full Gear in the rear-view mirror, Moné is looking ahead to Wrestle Dynasty, which will see representation from AEW. Responding to a question from Fightful, Moné addressed her potential involvement with the show.

\”If I am the TBS Champion and New Japan Strong Women\’s Champion, you can expect me at Wrestle Dynasty in Japan at the Tokyo Dome. I\’m going to talk to my CEO [points at Tony Khan]. We\’ll have to plan that out.\”

Wrestle Dynasty will take place on January 5, from the legendary Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan, one day after NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 19. The show will see involvement from AEW, New Japan, Ring of Honor, CMLL, and STARDOM. Stay tuned to SEScoops for all the latest on Wrestle Dynasty and Moné\’s busy schedule as a champion in AEW and New Japan.

  • The Rizzler Gets a Road Warrior Pop, Big Justice Hits a Spear: Fans React to AEW Full Gear

The AEW Full Gear Zero Hour Pre Show concluded with Big Boom AJ of the Costco Guys taking on QT Marshall. Even though AJ got a big reaction from the crowd, it was The Rizzler and Big Justice that got the biggest moments during the match.

Rizzler appeared before the match alongside Paul Wight, with the 7 foot 2 monster looking small when compared to the monster pop that The Rizzler got from the crowd in the Prudential Center. Dax Harwood of FTR was impressed:

One fan compared it to a Road Warrior Pop on Twitter, and the sentiment was shared across the board.

Big Justice Gets Physical at AEW Full Gear

Not to be outdone, Big Justice also managed to get a big moment during the match, hitting a Spear on QT Marshall, giving AJ the chance to hit his PowerBoom finisher and get the win ahead of the PPV:

The reaction on X regarding the Costco Guys and The Rizzler at AEW Full Gear has been mixed.

    • Positive Reactions: Some enjoyed the presence of the Costco Guys and The Rizzler, describing their segments as fun and entertaining. They appreciated the crossover of internet fame with wrestling, with comments indicating that the crowd was highly receptive, giving them a significant reaction akin to that of wrestling legends.
    • Negative Reactions: Others expressed frustration or disbelief at the inclusion of these social media personalities in wrestling events. There were criticisms that this move reflects a strategy for clout-chasing which might not resonate with traditional wrestling fans, with some feeling it detracts from the seriousness or authenticity of the event.

The general sentiment encapsulates both the excitement of seeing viral internet stars in a new context and a skepticism about the integration of such figures into professional wrestling.

  • Costco Guys Victorious on AEW Full Gear 2024 Zero Hour Pre-Show: AJ Brings the BOOM!

Big Boom AJ of the Costco Guys managed to secure the big win on (not-quite) PPV against QT Marshall on the Zero Hour Pre Show for AEW Full Gear. Paul Wight on commentary and the Rizzler as special guest timekeeper.

The match began with Marshall controlling and showing off, until AJ turned things around with a powerslam attempt and sent Marshall to the outside. After some back-and-forth action including a DDT from Marshall and a belly-to-belly suplex from AJ, the match intensified.

A key moment came when QT tried to interfere with the Rizzler at ringside, but Paul Wight intervened. When Aaron Solow attempted to interfere from the turnbuckle, he was thwarted by AJ. Big Justice then entered the ring and hit Marshall with a spear, setting up AJ to win the match with a Tenryu Powerbomb. After the match, AJ, Big Justice and The Rizzler celebrated their win.

AJ was an independent wrestler around 20 years ago, and with the viral sensation of his family over the past few months this match was put together to help build the PPV. Credit to AJ and Big Justice, they\’ve been pushing this show for weeks on national television and on social media.
