All Elite Wrestling brings a special three-hour combined Dynamite/Collision broadcast to the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania tonight — Wednesday, May 27, 2026. Belltime is 7:30 PM ET on TBS, and the card is loaded with street fights, Owen Hart Tournament action, and a championship celebration that should set the tone for the coming weeks.
Here’s everything announced for tonight’s show and what it means heading into AEW’s next chapter.
Full Announced Card
Lights Out Philly Street Fight: Kris Statlander vs. Hikaru Shida
This one has been building for weeks and it’s going No DQ in Philadelphia — the perfect city for a brutal street fight. Kris Statlander and Hikaru Shida are two of AEW’s most physically gifted women’s division talents, and with no rules and no disqualifications, expect chairs, kendo sticks, and a fight that leaves marks. Philly fans will be in their element for this one.
Watch for: Any post-match implications for the AEW TBS Championship picture.
Owen Hart Men’s Tournament Quarterfinal: Mark Davis vs. “Jungle” Jack Perry
The Owen Hart Foundation Tournament rolls on with a high-stakes quarterfinal. Mark Davis of Aussie Open brings raw power and crowd-pleasing charisma, but “Jungle” Jack Perry — currently one of AEW’s hottest heels — is the kind of disruptive force that tournament brackets fear. A Perry win keeps his momentum rolling; a Davis win would be a massive upset pop.
Watch for: Don Callis Family interference, given tonight’s Renee Paquette interview with Kyle Fletcher & Callis is already on the card.
Chris Jericho vs. Ricochet — Everyone Banned From Ringside
When AEW has to ban everyone from ringside, you know there’s been chaos leading into this one. Chris Jericho and Ricochet go one-on-one in what should be a technically sharp, story-driven contest. Stripping away the entourages puts the focus squarely on both men — and in Philadelphia, where the fans know their wrestling, expect a crowd that is invested in every nearfall.
Watch for: Whether Jericho’s Learning Tree cronies find a way to get involved regardless of the stipulation.
Key Segments
MJF’s 3x AEW World Championship Jamboree
MJF celebrating himself in Philadelphia is a pro wrestling gift. The Salt of the Earth is a three-time AEW World Champion, and you can bet he’s going to milk every second of that in front of a crowd that has a complicated — and electric — relationship with him. This segment almost certainly sets up MJF’s next feud or puts a target on his back. Don’t skip it.
TNT Champion Kevin Knight Speaks
We’ll hear from TNT Champion “The Jet” Kevin Knight tonight. With the title freshly in his hands, Philadelphia is as big a stage as any for Knight to establish his championship voice. His direction heading into AEW’s next major event is likely to crystalize here.
Renee Paquette Interviews Kyle Fletcher & Don Callis
The Don Callis Family’s internal dynamics and next targets are always worth monitoring. With the Owen Hart Tournament bracket in play, this interview could reveal their strategy — or implode it.
What to Watch For
MJF’s Opponent: The post-celebration challenge or attack will likely signal his next program. Every major heel and babyface on the roster is a candidate.
Owen Hart Bracket: With a quarterfinal tonight, AEW should give us a clearer picture of the semifinal matchups. Keep track of who advances.
Street Fight Fallout: Statlander vs. Shida in a Lights Out match with no rules almost guarantees a brutal finish — and possibly a new rivalry sprout from the wreckage.
Kyle Fletcher/Callis Plans: With Fletcher likely positioned near the top of the card and the Owen Hart Tournament in progress, tonight’s interview sets the table.
Jon Moxley is scheduled to defend the AEW Continental Championship against Will Ospreay at AEW Dynasty on April 12. The match was officially announced following a post-match attack on Thursday’s Collision.
Moxley emerged victorious over Anthony Bowens in a Continental Championship Eliminator match on Collision. Following the match, ‘The Aerial Assassin’ attacked Moxley and hit him with the hidden blade. The Death Riders eventually intervened to prevent further damage.
Ospreay then got hold of the Continental Title and demanded that everyone be banned from ringside at Dynasty, making it clear he wants the championship on the line.
Moxley took Ospreay out for half a year, + since returning at #AEWRevolution, the Billy Goat has wanted nothing more than getting his hands on Moxley 1-on-1
Moxley previously took Ospreay out of action for six months. Since returning at AEW Revolution, Ospreay has been focused on getting a one-on-one match with the Continental Champion.
AEW Dynasty takes place on Sunday, April 12 and will air on HBO Max pay-per-view at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
AEW Collision this week is set to air on Thursday instead of the usual Saturday slot. The company taped matches for the episode after the Dynamite broadcast from Winnipeg on Wednesday.
One of the segments on the show was Willow Nightingale hosting an open challenge for the TBS Championship, and her call was answered by a returning Hikaru Shida:
The Japanese star was a pillar of early AEW, and she holds the record for longest reign with the AEW Women’s Championship, having held the title for 372 days between May 2020 and 2021.
Though she had not wrestled for AEW since November 2024 and Hikaru Shida’s last match for the company was a Dynamite singles match against Kris Statlander.
The former Champion had wrestled a few matches in Japan since then but she had largely stayed away from wrestling, having not entered the ring in 2026 before her Collision appearance.
There is no word on whether Shida’s return is a one-off or if the wrestling veteran will be sticking around, but we should get a better idea after the broadcast of her match.
AEW Collision this week will be airing in two parts on TNT because of NCAA basketball coverage. The company taped matches to that effect alongside this week’s episode of Dynamite from Fresno, California.
One of the matches taped for the Sunday edition of the show was the Trios Champions Mistico & Jetspeed taking on Josh Alexander, Konosuke Takeshita and El Clon.
PWinsider is reporting, however, that Alexander might have suffered an injury during this bout as he went to the floor after a spot and did not return to the match afterward.
The spot in question saw Mike Bailey hitting the Ultima Weapon, a standing moonsault, on the former Champion. Their knees connected when Bailey came down, after which Josh did not compete in the bout further.
The 38-year-old was checked by doctors backstage after the spot but so far there is no update on his status or potential hiatus from the company.
Josh Alexander is not the only AEW name dealing with an injury as latest reports suggest that another top star is expected to take extended time off from the company. You can check out more about it here.
AEW Collision airs tonight (Saturday, February 7, 2026) from the Pearl Theater at The Palms in Las Vegas, Nevada, starting at 8 p.m. ET on TNT and streaming on HBO Max.

AEW Collision Match Card for February 7, 2026
Here are the matches and segments announced for tonight’s AEW Collision.
Tommaso Ciampa (c) vs. Claudio Castagnoli vs. Roderick Strong – TNT Championship
Eddie Kingston, Ortiz & The Rascalz vs. Grizzled Young Veterans, Big Bill & Bryan Keith – 8-Man Parking Lot Fight
Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) vs. GOA (Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona) – Tag Team Contenders Qualifier
Marina Shafir & Wheeler Yuta vs. Zayda Steel & Dante Martin – Mixed Tag Team Match
Kevin Knight vs. Scorpio Sky – Singles Match
Mina Shirakawa vs. Viva Van – Singles Match
Thekla vs. TBA – Thekla in Action
TNT Champion “Psycho Killer” Tommaso Ciampa vs. CMLL World Heavyweight Champion Claudio Castagnoli vs. Roderick Strong
Tommaso Ciampa wastes no time proving himself as TNT Champion, defending the title just one week after taking it from Mark Briscoe and immediately living up to his “open challenge” promise. He steps into a high-caliber three-way against CMLL World Heavyweight Champion Claudio Castagnoli and former AEW International Champion Roderick Strong, two men with deep histories against each other but limited experience facing Ciampa, making this a fresh and physical title bout.
Ciampa and Strong’s roots go back over a decade to their ROH clashes, while Castagnoli and Strong have battled across multiple promotions, including Claudio’s recent successful CMLL Title defense on Collision. With contrasting styles and overlapping rivalries, the TNT Championship feels like the perfect stage for a stiff, strike-heavy, and counter-driven main event in Las Vegas.
8-Man Parking Lot Fight: Eddie Kingston, Ortiz & The Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier and Zachary Wentz) vs. Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson and James Drake), Big Bill & Bryan Keith
The simmering issues between Eddie Kingston, Ortiz, and the Grizzled Young Veterans explode into AEW’s first-ever 8-Man Parking Lot Fight tonight. After agreeing to a tense “no violence” meeting last week, Kingston and Ortiz were blindsided when Big Bill and Bryan Keith attacked them on GYV’s dime, forcing Kingston to enlist Dezmond Xavier and Zachary Wentz of The Rascalz to even the odds.
Kingston has recent history with both Bill and Keith dating back to his All Out victory, and Ortiz’s return was sparked by the need to back up his longtime friend against GYV’s numbers game. With eight men brawling in a Las Vegas parking lot and The Rascalz wanting to make a statement in just their second week on Collision, this has all the makings of a wild, weapons-filled fight rather than a traditional tag match.
Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) vs. GOA (Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona) (Winners Advance to AEW World Tag Team Championship #1 Contenders Match on Dynamite)
The Young Bucks are trying to reboot the Superkick Party in 2026, but their focus was pulled last week when they stepped in to stop GOA from interfering in “Jungle” Jack Perry’s AEW National Championship match with Ricochet. Although their intervention couldn’t change the result for Perry, it set the stage for tonight’s collision with Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona.
The stakes are high: the winners will move on to next week’s Dynamite for a 3-Way #1 Contenders Match against Dezmond Xavier & Myron Reed of The Rascalz and a mystery wild-card team, with a future AEW World Tag Team Title shot on the line. For the Bucks, it’s the next step toward a potential fourth reign as champions, while GOA can further cement The Demand’s growing dominance by muscling their way into contention.
Exclusive Post-Match Comments From AEW World Champion MJF
AEW World Champion MJF has a lot to answer for after being demolished by Brody King in under two minutes in this week’s AEW World Championship Eliminator Match on Dynamite.
King’s emphatic win secured him an AEW World Title shot next Saturday at AEW Grand Slam Australia, and tonight’s exclusive comments will be MJF’s first chance to address that setback.
On top of that, “Hangman” Adam Page was watching closely, with his own Grand Slam match against Andrade El Ídolo determining who will challenge for the AEW World Championship at AEW Revolution on March 15.
Expect MJF to juggle the immediate threat of Brody King with the looming specter of Page and Andrade, as the world title picture starts to crystallize heading into AEW’s busy spring schedule.
We’ll Hear From AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander
AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander appears on Collision tonight after striking a risky bargain with Triangle of Madness. Statlander agreed to give Thekla a rematch for the AEW Women’s World Championship on Dynamite in four days in exchange for keeping Triangle of Madness out of this week’s Women’s Tag Team Eliminator Match.
She made Thekla wait to learn the stipulation for their title bout, and tonight she finally reveals what kind of match she’s chosen. With Thekla already set to compete on Collision before that rematch, Statlander’s announcement could tilt the balance in her favor or play directly into the challenger’s “Toxic Spider” persona.
“The Toxic Sider” Thekla in action
Before challenging for the AEW Women’s World Championship on Dynamite, Thekla steps into the ring on Collision to build momentum and send a message to Kris Statlander. Knowing she’ll find out the stipulation for her rematch later in the night, Thekla’s focus will be on setting a vicious tone and showcasing the aggressive, unpredictable style that’s brought her to the brink of championship gold.
With Triangle of Madness hovering over the division and Statlander promising a stipulation that favors her own strengths, this tune-up match is Thekla’s chance to spin a “toxic web” heading into the biggest opportunity of her AEW career.
Marina Shafir & Wheeler Yuta (Death Riders) vs. SkyFlight’s Zayda Steel & Dante Martin
Marina Shafir and Wheeler Yuta walk into Collision with their hair literally on the line next weekend at Grand Slam Australia, where they’ll face “Timeless” Toni Storm and Orange Cassidy in a mixed tag match with a hair-shaving stipulation for the loser of the fall. Tonight’s mixed tag against SkyFlight’s Zayda Steel and Dante Martin is all about momentum and chemistry as the Death Riders pair try to sharpen their edge before that high-risk showdown.
For Dante and Zayda, a win over Shafir and Yuta would be a massive elevation for SkyFlight and could rattle the Death Riders just seven days before one of them risks losing their hair on a global stage.
AEW World Trios Champion “The Jet” Kevin Knight vs. Scorpio Sky (SkyFlight)
Kevin Knight continues his breakout 2026 campaign with a singles showcase against two-time TNT Champion Scorpio Sky. Already holding the AEW World Trios Championship alongside “Speedball” Mike Bailey and “Hangman” Adam Page as JetSet Rodeo, Knight now looks to prove he can soar just as high on his own.
Sky, representing SkyFlight, brings veteran savvy and championship experience, making this a key measuring stick for Knight’s singles upside.
A win for Knight would strengthen his claim as one of AEW’s most explosive rising stars, while Sky aims to reinsert himself into the singles title conversation.
Mina Shirakawa vs. Viva Van
With “Timeless” Toni Storm occupied in the escalating war with the Death Riders, Mina Shirakawa keeps Timeless Love Bombs in the spotlight by stepping into singles action against Viva Van. Shirakawa’s charisma and striking-heavy offense have quickly made her a fan favorite, and tonight offers another chance to showcase that against a hungry opponent eager to capitalize on the opportunity.
For Viva Van, a strong performance or upset win over Mina would instantly raise her stock in the AEW women’s division. Expect a hard-fought clash as both women look to climb the ladder in an increasingly competitive landscape.

Tommaso Ciampa made his surprise AEW debut on Wednesday\’s Dynamite, confronting TNT Champion Mark Briscoe and answered the challenge for this Saturday\’s Collision.
The former WWE star wasted no time making an impact, marching to the ring to stare down the champion. Ciampa pointed at the TNT Championship and declared, \”I\’m coming for that!\” before leaving Briscoe with a kiss on the cheek in a bizarre but memorable moment.
TNT Championship Match Set for Saturday
The confrontation set up an official TNT Championship match between Ciampa and Briscoe for this Saturday\’s AEW Collision. The show airs live from the Esports Stadium in Arlington, Texas on TNT and HBO Max.
Ciampa\’s arrival ends speculation about his post-WWE future. The 40-year-old announced his departure from WWE earlier this month after 11 years with the company, filing new trademarks for \”Psycho Killer\” and \”Psycho King\” that hinted at a character reboot.
Did Tommaso Ciampa just give @SussexCoChicken's TNT Championship reign the kiss of death?!
Ciampa arrives in AEW as a two-time NXT Champion and former WWE Tag Team Champion alongside Johnny Gargano as part of the legendary team #DIY. His run in NXT established him as one of the brand\’s most influential champions, and his \”Blackheart\” persona made him one of wrestling\’s most compelling characters.
Briscoe captured the TNT Championship at Full Gear 2025, defeating Kyle Fletcher in a No Disqualification match. He has defended the title via open challenge in recent weeks, successfully turning back challengers including CMLL star Hechicero.
Saturday\’s match marks Ciampa\’s first televised match outside of WWE since 2015.
The January 24 episode of Collision was originally scheduled to come live from the Esports Stadium in Arlington, TX. The company announced on Wednesday, however, that the show has been canceled due to \’impending weather conditions in the region.\’
The promotion confirmed that they will be airing a taped show on the night instead, with matches being recorded after the latest episode of Dynamite from Orlando, Florida. Fans who bought tickets can expect an email with refund details soon.
AEW had previously announced a CMLL World Heavyweight Championship match between Claudio Castagnoli and Roderick Strong, as well as a singles bout between Andrade and Magnus for the event.
It\’s unknown if the company is making any changes to the announced lineup due to the cancellation, but updates from the arena confirm that they have taped Hangman Page vs Katsuyori Shibata, and Kris Statlander vs Isla Dawn for Collision this week.
The tapings tonight also featured a surprise debut of a former WWE US Champion, though in a dark match before the show went on air. You can check out more about it here.

Early access premium seating begins today, with general tickets going on sale tomorrow, January 20. Fans can sign up as AEW Insiders at AEWTix.com for presale access.
AEW March 2026 Live Event Schedule:
Wednesday, March 11 – AEW Dynamite & Collision – San Jose, CA
Wednesday, March 18 – AEW Dynamite & Collision – Fresno, CA
Wednesday, March 25 – AEW Dynamite – St. Paul, MN
Saturday, March 28 – AEW Collision – Cedar Rapids, IA
The company taped the Collision Maximum Carnage special set to air on January 17 from Phoenix, AZ this Wednesday night on January 14. One of the matches on the card featured Hangman Page teaming up with JetSpeed to challenge the Opps for the AEW Trios Championship.
In a surprise turn of events, Page, along with his partners Kevin Knight & Mike Bailey, ended up defeating the trio of Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs, & Katsuyori Shibata to become the new champions at the show.
A recent report provides the reason behind this unexpected development. According to it, Powerhouse Hobbs is actually set to leave the promotion very soon. While AEW had been negotiating a new contract with the former TNT Champion, he has chosen to explore free agency instead.
The report reveals that Hobbs\’ deal with the company expires at midnight on Wednesday itself, prompting the need for this unexpected title change. You can check out more details on what the future holds for Hobbs here.
AEW presents a special afternoon edition of Collision Holiday Bash today with critical Continental Classic Gold League matches that could reshape the tournament standings. The one-hour special airs at 2:30 PM ET on TNT and HBO Max, taped following this week\’s Holiday Bash Dynamite from England.
With the 2025 Continental Classic entering its final week, four wrestlers remain tied atop the Gold League standings at six points each. Today\’s matches between Kazuchika Okada and Kevin Knight, plus Jack Perry versus Speedball Mike Bailey, will determine which two competitors advance to the semifinals at Worlds End on December 27.
Match Card
Continental Classic Gold League: Kazuchika Okada vs. Kevin Knight
Continental Classic Gold League: Jack Perry vs. Speedball Mike Bailey
RevPro Undisputed British Women\’s Championship: Mercedes Moné (c) vs. Alex Windsor
Eddie Kingston vs. Nathan Cruz
Holiday Bash card for today at 2:30pm:
• Kazuchika Okada vs Kevin Knight • Speedball Mike Bailey vs Jack Perry • Mercedes Moné vs a British wrestler • Eddie Kingston vs Nathan Cruz
Continental Classic Gold League: Kazuchika Okada vs. Kevin Knight
The reigning Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada faces his biggest test of the tournament against rising star Kevin Knight. Both wrestlers enter with six points in the four-way tie atop the Gold League, making this a must-win situation for both competitors.
Okada has been trying to retain his Continental Championship throughout the tournament as part of his historic Unified Championship reign spanning over 600 days. After dropping his opening match to Kyle Fletcher, the Rainmaker has rebounded with victories over PAC to stay alive in the tournament. Knight shocked the wrestling world in Week One by defeating Darby Allin, then followed up with a win over Mike Bailey at Winter Is Coming to reach six points.
The Don Callis Family member knows a victory here would put him in prime position to advance, while a loss could eliminate Okada from his own championship tournament. Continental Classic rules prohibit any outside interference, meaning Okada cannot rely on his Callis Family stablemates.
Continental Classic Gold League: Jack Perry vs. Speedball Mike Bailey
Jack Perry makes his Continental Classic debut after replacing the injured Darby Allin midway through the tournament. Perry inherits Allin\’s 0-3 record and zero points, making his path to the semifinals virtually impossible. However, Perry can still play spoiler against Mike Bailey, who sits tied for the league lead with six points.
Bailey has been one of the tournament\’s breakout performers, earning victories over Kevin Knight and PAC despite losses to Kyle Fletcher. The high-flying Speedball needs a win today to keep his semifinal hopes alive, but Perry\’s unpredictable style and technical prowess make him a dangerous opponent even with nothing to gain in the standings.
RevPro Undisputed British Women\’s Championship: Mercedes Moné vs. Alex Windsor
Mercedes Moné puts her RevPro Undisputed British Women\’s Championship on the line against local challenger Alex Windsor in an open challenge match. The CEO captured the RevPro title at Wrestle Dynasty in Tokyo\’s Dome on January 5, making this her fifth defense of the championship she won from Mina Shirakawa.
Moné currently holds 12 championships across three continents, though she recently lost the Interim ROH Women\’s World Television Championship to Red Velvet at ROH Final Battle on December 5. The multi-time champion issued the open challenge during Wednesday\’s Dynamite, looking to add another successful defense to her historic collection of gold.
Windsor represents the British wrestling scene and will have the Manchester crowd firmly behind her. The RevPro star gets the opportunity of a lifetime against one of wrestling\’s most decorated champions on Moné\’s tour of the United Kingdom.
Eddie Kingston vs. Nathan Cruz
Eddie Kingston returned to action in September after a devastating 497-day absence following a career-threatening leg injury. The Mad King suffered a fractured tibia, torn ACL, and torn meniscus during his NJPW Resurgence match against Gabe Kidd in May 2024.
Today Kingston faces British wrestler Nathan Cruz, who will be accompanied by the Grizzled Young Veterans. This represents another step in Kingston\’s comeback trail as he continues rebuilding his momentum after forming an alliance with HOOK following his return at All Out. Kingston recently challenged Samoa Joe for the AEW World Championship at Winter Is Coming, falling short in that title pursuit but proving he\’s back to full strength.
Cruz gets a high-profile opportunity against the inaugural AEW Continental Champion, though Kingston\’s hard-hitting style and experience advantage make him the overwhelming favorite. The presence of the Grizzled Young Veterans could factor into the outcome if they attempt to interfere on Cruz\’s behalf.
Looking Ahead
Continental Classic semifinals and finals at AEW Worlds End on December 27 in Chicago
AEW Women\’s World Tag Team Championship match featuring Mercedes Moné and Athena at Worlds End
Final Continental Classic matches air December 23-24 during Dynamite on 34th Street and Christmas Collision from Manhattan Center
The winner of today\’s Gold League matches will significantly impact which two wrestlers advance to face the Blue League\’s top two finishers
AEW Collision Holiday Bash airs today at 2:30 PM ET on TNT and HBO Max from Co-Op Live in Manchester, England.
AEW taped matches for one half of the Holiday Bash special of Collision before this week\’s episode of Dynamite from Manchester, England, with names such as Kazuchika Okada and Jack Perry in action.
One of the matches on the card featured Mercedes Mone defending the RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship. She ended up losing the bout to Alex Windsor, ending Mone\’s reign just shy of one year at 349 days.
This is the second title belt Mercedes has lost this month. She previously also took a loss from Red Velvet at ROH Final Battle, ending her claim over the ROH Women\’s TV title.
Continental Classic Gold League: Jack Perry def. Mike Bailey
Singles Match: Eddie Kingston def. Nathan Cruz
RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship: Alex Windsor def. Mercedes Mone (c)
Continental Classic Gold League: Kevin Knight def. Kazuchika Okada
The second half of the Collision aired live after Dynamite this week, featuring matches such as FTR vs Bang Bang Gang for the AEW World Title and more.
Before this, the show featured the surprise return of MJF who made controversial remarks and inserted himself into a Worlds End match immediately after his comeback. You can check out more details about it here.
AEW brings Collision across the pond for a stacked Winter Is Coming special emanating from Cardiff, Wales. With a loaded card featuring championship stakes, Continental Classic action, and heated grudge matches, this episode promises to deliver for fans on both sides of the Atlantic.
TNT Championship: Mark Briscoe (c) vs. Daniel Garcia
The Sussex County Chicken brings his fighting champion mentality to Wales against one of AEW\’s hungriest young talents. Garcia has been on a mission to prove he belongs in the title picture, and Briscoe\’s never-back-down style should make for a physical collision.
Continental Classic – Blue League: Claudio Castagnoli vs. Konosuke Takeshita
A champion vs. champion showdown that carries serious tournament implications. Claudio enters as CMLL World Heavyweight Champion while Takeshita holds the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship, making this one of the most decorated league matches in Continental Classic history. With Blue League standings tightening heading into the tournament\’s final weeks, neither man can afford a loss here.
Continental Classic – Gold League: Kevin Knight vs. Speedball Bailey
Jet Speed partners put their friendship aside for one night as Speedball Mike Bailey battles Kevin Knight in what\’s sure to be a high-flying, high-risk encounter.
Swerve Strickland vs. Josh Alexander
The Don Callis Family puts forward \”The Walking Weapon\” against Swerve in what should be a technically crisp, hard-nosed affair. Alexander\’s reputation as one of the best wrestlers in the world meets Swerve\’s creativity and calculated aggression. With Callis surely lurking at ringside, expect interference to factor into the finish.
Kris Statlander & Jamie Hayter vs. Julia Hart & Skye Blue
AEW Women\’s World Champion Statlander teams with the returning Hayter for tag action against the Sisters of Sin. Hayter competing in her home country adds emotional stakes, and the Welsh crowd should rally behind her.
Hart and Skye Blue will look to make a statement against the champion and potentially position themselves for future title opportunities. Samoa Joe paid tribute to John Cena at Winter Is Coming Dynamite earlier this week.
AEW Collision: Winter Is Coming airs Saturday at 4:30 PM ET on TNT and Max.
AEW Collision’s May 17 episode was a night full of epic moments and an emotional tribute, but things took a bizarre turn towards the end. At 9:30 pm, the show ended abruptly before the main event, and cut to an airing of Black Adam instead.
Fans were left puzzled as the advertised match between ROH Tag Team Champions Dustin Rhodes and Sammy Guevara vs. The CRU wasn\’t broadcast. The match was made during AEW Dynamite and was intended to set up a title shot against the Hurt Syndicate at Double or Nothing.
Although fans in attendance witnessed the ROH Tag Team Champions in action, viewers at home were left hanging. The sudden cut prompted widespread confusion and frustration on social media, and Tony Khan would later explain the situation on X.
We’re having technical problems with our studio transmission of Saturday #AEWCollision tonight!
I’m sorry for the inconvenience to all of you great fans!
We’ll have the complete show up on @StreamOnMax + in its entirety on @TNTdrama West 8pm PT/9pm MT/10pm CT/11pm ET tonight!
There is some irony to WWE\’s Final Boss taking over the airwaves and forcing AEW programming off of TV. Dustin Rhodes and Sammy Guevara would get the win and the ROH Tag Team Champions will challenge for the AEW World Tag Team Titles at Double or Nothing.
AEW Collision will be undergoing an interesting experiment for the week of March 17-23, varying from its usual format.
The 2-hour Saturday night show usually airs at 8 PM ET on TNT. For next week, however, the slot will be taken up by the NCAA \’March Madness\’ games.
The broadcast network usually just bumps the full wrestling show up in such cases, and it airs whenever the program taking its place concludes.
Though for next week, the official WBD website is listing two 1-hour episodes of Collisions for both Saturday, March 22, and Sunday March 23 instead. Both the shows are listed to start at 11 p.m. ET, after the conclusion of the NCAA games.
According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer, this is an experiment on TNT\’s part. By breaking up the usual 2-hour show into two separate hour-long episodes, the Network is giving Collision two lead-ins from the March Madness games instead of one.
The Collision episode is set to be taped in advance from the Liberty First Credit Union Arena in Omaha, Nebraska, alongside the live March 19th episode of Wednesday Night Dynamite.
No matches or segments have been confirmed for the upcoming show just yet, but we can expect to see some top stars on the episode to take advantage of the lead in.

Billy Gunn came out to try and talk some sense but he got berated by Caster. Max claimed that Billy only attached himself to the team so people would chant his name again. Max then asked Bowens to choose between him and Billy and Bowens chose Billy. An angry Caster then announced that The Acclaimed were done before walking out.
12 Men Tag Team Match: Cope, Powerhouse Hobbs, The Outrunners & FTR def. The Death Riders & The Learning Tree – Hobbs was apparently attacked backstage before the match and he initially didn\’t show up with his other teammates. AEW has teased Brody King becoming the new leader of House of Black with a new segment featuring Adam Copeland on this week\’s Collision.
The former WWE star, now going by just Cope in the company, had a rivalry with the AEW faction before his injury last year. He even had a singles match with King for the TNT Championship during the May 8, 2024 episode of Dynamite.
The two AEW stars shared the screen once again during the most recent TV tapings. Cope cut an interesting promo during this encounter, mentioning all the other members of the House of Black except for the group\’s leader Malakai Black:
“We’ve been through a lot, but I hope you know that at the end of all of it, I respect you. I respect you [Julia]. I respect Buddy. I think you have the world of potential at your feet. I know what you bring to the table. Man, I felt it. I wanted us to be a group. But tell you what, it’s time for you to take the reins and run.”
Malakai Black has not been seen on AEW TV since the Full Gear PPV in November. The belief is that he\’s finished up with the company and is just waiting for his contract to officially expire sometime in the next couple months.
This latest segment is another indication that the company is planning to move away from the former NXT Champion and we might see the group moving forward under the leadership of King instead.
