Adam Pearce Punched In The Face On Raw

Adam Pearce was accidentally punched in the face by Becky Lynch during a chaotic segment on the May 4 episode of WWE Raw in Omaha. The WWE official found himself caught in the crossfire during what was meant to be a straightforward contract signing for Sol Ruca.

The segment began with Pearce introducing Ruca, who was making her official transition to the main roster after a recent wave of NXT call-ups. Following a highlight video, Ruca entered the ring to sign her Raw contract and received a warm reaction from the crowd.

Before Ruca could say much, Lynch interrupted and declared the time slot belonged to her “celebration of greatness.” Lynch voiced frustration over her recent booking and quickly shifted focus to Ruca, dismissing the newcomer’s moment.

Sol Ruca Fires Back at Becky Lynch

Ruca didn’t hold back, firing back verbally and calling Lynch out, which drew a strong reaction from the audience. After signing her contract, the former NXT star warned Lynch not to interrupt her again, stating she would “snatch” her if it happened.

That warning led to the segment turning physical. Lynch attempted a cheap shot aimed at Ruca but missed her target, instead striking Pearce clean in the face. Ruca capitalized seconds later and delivered the Sol Snatcher to Lynch to close the segment.

While Ruca also previously got involved with Liv Morgan, it seems more likely that this exchange with Becky Lynch will turn into her first proper rivalry on the main roster.

WWE Raw April 6 Card: 3 New Matches Set for Houston

WWE Raw Match Card for March 2, 2026

Here are the matches and segments announced:

WWE Intercontinental Championship Match: Dominik Mysterio (c) vs. Penta

Dominik Mysterio puts the WWE Intercontinental Championship on the line against number-one contender Penta in Indianapolis. Penta secured his title shot by defeating El Grande Americano on the February 16 episode of Raw. Dirty Dom returned from injury on February 2 and has yet to make his first successful title defense since the comeback.

    Gunther vs. Dragon Lee

Gunther meets Dragon Lee in a heated singles matchup. The feud stems from Gunther\’s disrespectful treatment of AJ Styles following his career-ending loss at the Royal Rumble. Lee, a close ally of Styles, attacked Gunther on last week\’s Raw to set up this contest.

CM Punk & AJ Lee Appear Live

Fresh off their historic night at Elimination Chamber, World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk (c) and Women\’s Intercontinental Champion AJ Lee (c) will be in the building. Punk retained his title over Finn Bálor in Chicago on Saturday while Lee submitted Becky Lynch in her first singles title match in over 11 years to capture the Women\’s Intercontinental Championship. The dual-champion couple is expected to cross paths with WrestleMania opponents as the road to Las Vegas heats up.

    Roman Reigns Returns

Roman Reigns is advertised to return to Raw. The Tribal Chief is set to confront Punk ahead of their confirmed WrestleMania 42 main event matchup.

As GM Adam Pearce teased on social media: \”Roman and Punk in the building at the same time. It\’s live TV. What the hell could possibly go wrong?\” With both men under the same roof weeks before WrestleMania, anything is on the table.

Adam Pearce to Address Seth Rollins Situation

Raw GM Adam Pearce has officially announced he will address the ongoing situation involving Seth Rollins, who made a shocking return at Elimination Chamber Saturday night. Rollins, revealed as the masked man who had been attacking Logan Paul\’s faction The Vision for weeks, stormed the men\’s Elimination Chamber match and hit Paul with a Curb Stomp — allowing Cody Rhodes to eliminate him before Randy Orton ultimately won the match. Pearce is expected to address the fallout and any potential consequences.

    Road to WrestleMania 42

WrestleMania 42 takes place April 18–19 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Raw is the first of several pivotal stops on the road to the Grandest Stage of Them All. With CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns officially set for the World Heavyweight Championship, Randy Orton punching his WrestleMania ticket out of the Chamber, and Seth Rollins\’ return creating new chaos at the top of the card, this episode figures to shape multiple WrestleMania storylines in real time.

  • Adam Pearce Blasts Racism on Facebook

WWE Raw General Manager Adam Pearce has taken a stance against the racist comments he\’s seen on his Facebook page.

Pearce shared a throwback image of himself as NWA World Heavyweight champion, giving the middle finger, accompanied by a clear message:

Your response, should you have one at all, to MY statement that racism is not allowed on MY Facebook page should be acknowledgement. Period.

I do not care if you agree.

I do not care if you don’t.

I do not care about “yeah but…”.

I do not care about “what about…”.

I do not care about “but your boss…”.

I do not care about “but your job…”.

If your mind jumps to any topic other than “I will not allow racism on MY Facebook page”, you’ve missed the point…either by choice or by dipshit.

IN SUMMATION: I, Adam Pearce, will not tolerate racism on MY Facebook page.

Happy Hump Day. I now await comments that make me silently thank you for watching our television programs.?

    What caused this?

Pearce\’s Facebook message didn\’t come out of nowhere. In the days prior, the WWE Raw General Manager had publicly defended Bad Bunny, who has become the latest lightning rod in America\’s culture wars after a historic week.

Bad Bunny\’s Grammy win for Album of the Year, the first ever for a fully Spanish-language project, was accompanied by an acceptance speech championing immigrant rights and a ceremony where stars wore \”ICE out\” buttons in protest of immigration raids.

The moment immediately reignited backlash from conservative commentators, some of whom had already been attacking Bad Bunny\’s upcoming Super Bowl halftime slot by arguing the show should be performed in English and that the Puerto Rican artist, a U.S. citizen, \”isn\’t American enough.\”

Critics and fans alike have labeled that rhetoric as thinly veiled racism and xenophobia, noting it reduces Spanish-speaking identity to something inherently foreign.

Pearce\’s decision to wade into the debate drew enough vitriol to his personal page that he felt compelled to draw a clear line, a reminder that the intersection of wrestling, pop culture, and politics can get ugly fast when questions about who counts as \”American\” are on the table.

  • WWE Rumors: EVIL Signing, Chad Gable Return, Royal Rumble News

The latest WWE rumors have the wrestling world buzzing. With Royal Rumble 2026 just days away and Saturday Night\’s Main Event headed to Montreal this weekend, we filter out the noise and catch you up to speed in this WWE rumors roundup for January 22, 2026.

EVIL Expected to Leave NJPW for WWE

One of the biggest WWE rumors today involves former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion EVIL, who has reportedly given his notice to New Japan Pro Wrestling. Multiple sources indicate WWE is his likely destination.

Bryan Alvarez reported on Wrestling Observer Live that \”EVIL might be on his way out of New Japan, and it is strongly rumored that he will end up in WWE.\”

EVIL, a former IWGP Heavyweight Champion, Intercontinental Champion, and Tag Team Champion, has been a staple of NJPW\’s House of Torture faction. His potential move to WWE would mark another significant international acquisition for the company following its recent partnership with AAA.

El Hijo Del Vikingo Under Direct WWE Contract

According to PWInsider Elite, El Hijo Del Vikingo holds a unique contract situation compared to the rest of the AAA roster.

While most AAA wrestlers remain signed to AAA following WWE\’s acquisition, Vikingo is reportedly under a direct WWE contract. This suggests WWE views the high-flying luchador as a priority talent with potential for their main programming.

Chad Gable Return Pitched for January 26 Raw

Chad Gable may be inching closer to his return to WWE television. There\’s a rumor that internal discussions have included pitches for Gable to make his comeback on the January 26 episode of WWE Raw in Toronto.

Gable has been absent from WWE programming, and with Raw heading to Canada, the timing would make sense for his return. However, nothing has been officially confirmed.

    Chris Jericho SmackDown/SNME Appearance Debunked

With WWE bringing both SmackDown and Saturday Night\’s Main Event to Montreal this weekend, speculation had ramped up about a potential Chris Jericho appearance. The Canadian legend has been the subject of WWE return rumors for months.

However, reports indicate that Jericho will not be appearing at either show this weekend, putting those specific rumors to rest—at least for now.

Injured Star Favorite to Win Royal Rumble

Betting odds have revealed an interesting WWE rumor: an injured star is the favorite to win the Women\’s Royal Rumble match. While not officially named, speculation points to Charlotte Flair.

The Royal Rumble has historically been a prime spot for surprise returns, and Flair making her comeback in Riyadh would certainly generate one of the biggest reactions of the night.

Mystery Caller to Adam Pearce Storyline

On this week\’s Raw, Adam Pearce received a mysterious phone call that left Paul Heyman pleased. The Wiseman teased that Pearce was speaking with \”someone powerful\” that even top WWE officials would not want to hear from.

Logan Paul, speaking on his vlog, suggested it must be \”The Big Man\”—though he clarified it wasn\’t Triple H. Fan speculation and WWE rumors have run wild, with theories ranging from a returning legend to a new authority figure being introduced.

Seth Rollins WrestleMania 42 Status Uncertain

Seth Rollins provided an update on his recovery from shoulder surgery, with WWE rumors swirling about his WrestleMania timeline.

\”I hope to be cleared by the time WrestleMania rolls around,\” Rollins told Men\’s Health, while describing his current rehab process as \”awful\” and \”way worse\” than previous knee injuries.

With The Vision storyline continuing in his absence, speculation has grown about who might join Rollins in a potential faction upon his return to combat the group.

    Celebrity Royal Rumble Betting Odds

Betting sites have released odds on potential celebrity appearances at the Royal Rumble in Riyadh, adding fuel to WWE rumors about surprise entrants:

    • IShowSpeed: 30.77% implied chance of appearing
    • Jake Paul: Also listed among possibilities

WWE has a history of including surprise celebrity entrants in Royal Rumble matches, and with the event taking place in Saudi Arabia, the company may look to maximize star power.

    Additional WWE Rumors and Notes

    • Finn Balor character change: Sam Roberts pitched a major character shift for Balor after crowds cheered him over CM Punk during their Belfast title match
    • Penta teases surprise with George Kittle: The WWE star hinted at a \”big surprise\” involving the NFL tight end, calling it \”very special\”

  • Adam Pearce Suspends Vision Star After Physical Confrontation

Adam Pearce has suspended Bron Breakker after a heated confrontation.

The January 12 episode of Raw, coming live from Düsseldorf, Germany, featured the duo of Bronson Reed and Austin Theory in action. Their match against Penta and Dragon Lee could not reach its conclusion as Bron Breakker appeared out of nowhere and took out both the masked stars with spears.

An angry Adam Pearce stopped Breakker mid-way through his run. Things only got more chaotic with his appearance, however, as Bronson Reed took out Penta with a Tsunami while the Raw General Manager was engaged with Bron. The former NXT champion then delivered another devastating spear to Lee.

Things came to a head when Breakker got physical with the Authority figure himself, shoving him in a corner before the rest of the Vision pulled him back. This was the final straw for Pearce, and the GM announced that he is suspending the former champion for an indefinite period.

The last time a WWE superstar was suspended for his actions, he ended up beating Cody Rhodes for the WWE Championship. Does the same fate await Breakker and the counterpart Raw Champion CM Punk? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
