Roman Reigns’ path forward after WrestleMania 42 is already taking shape, and WWE has two major programs in mind for The Tribal Chief.
According to Bodyslam, both GUNTHER and Oba Femi are expected to be part of Reigns’ upcoming feuds following his World Heavyweight Championship victory over CM Punk in the Night Two main event at Allegiant Stadium.
The report aligns with information shared by Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, who noted that a Reigns and GUNTHER program has been discussed internally as a major direction moving forward.
GUNTHER competed on Night One of WrestleMania 42 against Seth Rollins, while Femi defeated Brock Lesnar on Night Two in what was widely viewed as Lesnar’s retirement match. Both men now emerge from WrestleMania weekend with momentum, making them natural candidates for top-level programs with the newly crowned champion.
Reigns returned to the top of WWE’s championship picture by winning the World Heavyweight Championship from Punk, ending a title reign that had been building since Punk’s return to the company.
Reigns himself had been without a championship since losing the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 40 after his record-setting 1,316-day reign.
