Speed would aid Bron Breakker in eliminating Otis before being speared and thrown out by the reigning WWE Intercontinental Champion. In total, Speed\’s time in the Rumble was 56 seconds, the shortest of any Superstar competing at the event.

Despite his short Rumble run, Speed\’s work has proven to be a hit. As first shared by WrestleOps, between WWE\’s social media platform and those of the streamer, this cameo in the Men\’s Royal Rumble match surpassed 255 million views over the first 24 hours.

Bliss\’ return came after several reports stating that she and WWE but new reports suggest her comeback was more than just unexpected—it was a carefully orchestrated swerve by WWE “far apart” in contract negotiations. It had even been reported that some in WWE believed that the two would not be able to reach a new deal, and as a result, Bliss\’ tenure with WWE would end.

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer claims that sources within WWE have confirmed Bliss has signed a new contract. With that said, he doesn\’t believe it was as \”last-minute\” as sources indicated and argued that WWE was \”pulling a swerve.\” News of Bliss re-signing with WWE was kept a closely within the company, with Meltzer adding “It was people in the office they fooled too, and high-up.”
