  • Samantha Irvin Claims YouTube Shadow Ban on Music Video Debut

Samantha Irvin left WWE in late 2024 to pursue non-wrestling projects, including growing her presence as a singer and musician. Now, Irvin\’s journey has hit a major roadblock as she\’s reportedly been shadow banned. On May 1, the former WWE ring announcer alleged that her music video, “Shawty Wanna,” has been shadow banned on YouTube.

Irvin\’s post saw a flurry of comments, including a response from YouTube\’s team to look into the matter. When a fan suggested that a \”sad individual\” reported Irvin\’s video, Samantha shared that there was more than one person.

The video, released on April 11, marked Irvin’s biggest step in entertainment since leaving WWE. Explaining her decision to leave WWE, Irvin has shared that while she loved the company, she always intended to be in a role beyond announcing. When it was clear that WWE had no alternative role planned for her, she recognized that it was time to leave.

Irvin\’s journey in music appears promising, despite this shadow ban on YouTube. Hopefully this matter will be resolved soon for the former WWE ring announcer.

  • WWE Abandons, Quickly Reacquires \’Edge\’ Trademark

For decades, Adam Copeland competed under the name Edge, and while his WWE tenure is now behind him, the sports entertainment powerhouse isn’t quite ready to part ways with the iconic moniker.

Earlier this week, WWE abandoned its trademark ownership of the name Edge, sparking excitement among fans who hoped Copeland would reclaim the title for use in All Elite Wrestling. The speculation was short-lived, however, as WWE quickly filed to reacquire the trademark. As a result, the Edge name is once again securely in WWE’s hands, preventing Copeland and AEW from using it.

In 2025, Copeland officially began performing in AEW under the name Cope, a change the Canadian wrestling legend had hoped to make a year earlier. While the name received mixed reactions, it marked a personal and symbolic shift for Copeland as he charts the final chapter of his in-ring career on his own terms.

Fans still hold deep affection for the Edge persona, but barring a significant change, it appears Adam Copeland will end his storied wrestling journey under a new identity—without the moniker that defined much of his WWE legacy.

  • Bron Breakker Joins Viral 100 Men Vs. 1 Gorilla Debate With Bold Claim

A hypothetical scenario has gone viral in recent days as countless social media users debate who\’d win in a showdown between 100 men and one gorilla. During Logan Paul\’s latest vlog, Bron Breakker was optimistic on humanity\’s odds, if the 100 men in question were Breakker himself.

“We’re winning in record time. I was a f**king amateur wrestler my whole life. Beat the sh*t out of that thing.\”

The Breakker army would certainly have the numbers advantage, but Bron\’s strategy woud have brains as well as brawn. Breakker added that he\’d send ten of his men in as a distraction, giving the remaining 90 the chance to take the gorilla by surprise.

Breakker has already proven to be a fierce competitor in WWE despite only debuting in 2021. Already a two-time NXT and two-time Intercontinental Champion, Breakker\’s future looks especially bright after aligning with Paul Heyman.

Breakker has already proven to be quite the mathematician and he belives one hundred copies of him would be far greater than one gorilla. Stay tuned for the latest on the second-generation Superstar.

  • Liv Morgan Presented With Massive List Of Haters She\’s Proven Wrong

Liv Morgan has made her fair share of enemies in WWE, leading to a unique moment for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion. During a recent fan meet-and-greet, one member of the WWE Universe handed Morgan a list of her \”haters\”—individuals she has supposedly proven wrong throughout her career. When asked about the list, the fan, who was wearing a Rey Mysterio mask despite Liv’s on-screen connection to Dominik Mysterio, explained his reasoning.

\”I needed to show you because you have proven so much… I love you Liv, thank you so much.\”

Morgan was amazed by the dedication that went into the list and took a moment to scan some of the names. Although she didn’t have time to read the entire thing, she quickly spotted a few familiar critics she feels she’s silenced over time.

\”Just by getting a glimpse at some of the names, I feel like you\’re probably spot on.\”

The list doesn’t just highlight how many rivals Liv Morgan has made in WWE—it also shows the lengths her fans will go to support her. As Morgan continues to stir the pot alongside The Judgment Day, expect that list of names to keep growing.

  • Joe Hendry’s Theme Song Makes History In iTunes Charts

Joe Hendry has become a fan favorite not only for his in-ring performances but also for his musical talents. Now, the people of the Philippines have shown that they, too, believe in the reigning TNA World Champion.

Hendry’s theme song, I Believe in Joe Hendry, has charted at #28 on the iTunes Philippines Top Songs chart. This marks the first time a wrestling theme song has ever entered this chart, highlighting Hendry’s growing international appeal. While WWE remains the global leader in pro wrestling, it’s TNA’s top star who just made music history.

Hendry’s popularity extends beyond TNA, as he’s become a familiar face to WWE audiences as well. Following his high-profile match against Randy Orton at WrestleMania 41, Hendry has been involved in an ongoing feud with Trick Williams, spanning both TNA and WWE NXT. After Williams ambushed him at TNA Rebellion, Hendry sought retribution on this week’s NXT, only to fall victim to a surprise attack from Dark State.

Hendry continues to release new theme songs that mock and taunt his opponents in TNA Wrestling, including AJ Francis and Ryan Nemeth. Whether a WWE Superstar will be next to face Hendry’s lyrical jabs remains to be seen.

  • Hulk Hogan: My Wrestling Promotion Could Be As Big As WWE & UFC

Hulk Hogan is going all-in on Real American Freestyle Wrestling—and according to the WWE Hall of Famer, it’s not just another wrestling promotion. In a new interview with TMZ Sports, Hogan boldly declared that his new venture could one day stand toe-to-toe with the biggest names in sports entertainment.

\”When I think about the UFC and the WWE, we’re not competitive at all with these guys, but we have a chance to be just as big as them. So that’s what I’m looking for, because everybody loves the, you know, the wrestling, the freestyle wrestling.\”

The debut show is set for August 30 in Cleveland, Ohio, and Hogan says Real American Freestyle Wrestling will combine the best elements of professional wrestling and MMA.

\”What we’re going to do is kind of like shoot these packages so that you care about the athletes. Kind of like The Voice, where if you’re wrestling, brother, we’re going to find out why you started.\”

Hogan once doubted whether amateur wrestlers could draw mainstream attention—but now he says he\’s been proven wrong. He cited Conor McGregor as someone who’s \”been watching the wrestling\” to pick up tips, adding that the Irish star understands \”what branding is all about.\”

Hulk Hogan may not be the beloved icon he once was in the world of pro wrestling, but he’s determined to carve a new chapter in his storied career. Fans will have to stay tuned to see whether Real American Freestyle Wrestling lives up to the hype and finds a foothold in the sports entertainment landscape.

  • Natalya Talks Career Longevity, Creative Drive Ahead of NWA Title Challenge

Natalya isn’t waiting around for WWE to decide her next storyline—she’s taking control of her career and exploring new in-ring opportunities. In a new interview with The Toronto Sun, the longtime WWE Superstar discussed stepping outside the company to wrestle with WWE’s full approval.

\”It’s so cool that I’m being allowed to do these outside projects with WWE’s full blessing. As I’ve mentioned before, and I’ve said this to a lot of other people, I am not comfortable just taking a paycheck and coasting, hoping that the writers at WWE think of something for me to do.\”

Natalya made her WWE main roster debut in 2008 after signing with the company a year earlier. Now 18 years into her career, the former Divas Champion takes pride in her longevity and resilience in a constantly evolving industry.

\”I would have never survived in WWE for over 18 years, which is unprecedented for a female in WWE—no other woman in the industry has done this at the level that I’ve done it, for 18 uninterrupted years.\”

\”I would never have survived what I survived in WWE had I not been creative and persistent, constantly trying to think of new ideas and ways to be involved and included.\”

With nearly two decades of WWE experience, Natalya has dedicated her career to entertaining fans. Despite her contributions, she remains grounded when it comes to expectations from WWE leadership, including Chief Content Officer Triple H.

\”Triple H doesn’t owe me anything. Triple H doesn’t owe me a storyline, he doesn’t owe me a phone call, he doesn’t owe me a text, he doesn’t owe me an email—he doesn’t owe me a single thing.\”

Natalya could soon add the NWA Women\’s World Championship to her legacy

  • Jeff Cobb Claims Retirement Amid NJPW Exit & WWE Rumors

Jeff Cobb is adding more mystery to his next move in the world of professional wrestling, this time by claiming he’s retired. After competing in what was billed as his final match for NJPW on April 18, Cobb took to social media to claim his days in the ring are done.

    https://twitter.com/RealJeffCobb/status/1917749193608946041

Many fans are skeptical of this \’retirement\’, and it\’s not hard to see why. With WWE rumors swirling in recent weeks and Cobb’s NJPW contract now behind him, many believe it is only a matter of time before the \’retired\’ Cobb is back in the ring, this time as a WWE Superstar.

On April 18, Cobb posted “Then, now, forever ??????????”—a clear nod to WWE’s trademark slogan that didn\’t go unnoticed by fans.

While the post featured a photo of Cobb in an NJPW ring, many saw it as a sign that his future lies with the sports-entertainment juggernaut. Dave Meltzer recently reported that WWE wanted Cobb “for Sunday or Monday” around WrestleMania 41, but that move didn’t materialize.

Jeff Cobb may be finished with New Japan, but he doesn’t appear to be finished with pro wrestling—despite what his post on social media would have you believe.

  • John Cena vs. Randy Orton at Backlash: Officially Billed as Their Final Showdown

Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena will face Randy Orton at Backlash on May 10 in what WWE is now promoting as the final encounter between these two legendary competitors. According to recent promotional materials, this will be the \”last time\” fans witness these megastars compete one-on-one—a significant declaration that was notably absent from earlier marketing.

As Cena progresses toward his scheduled retirement at the end of 2025, this match represents one of several career milestones fans can anticipate from the WWE icon. He has already participated in his final Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber matches, while triumphantly concluding his WrestleMania legacy with a victory in his farewell appearance.

Throughout their storied rivalry, Cena and Orton have clashed 21 times on WWE programming across various stipulations, including Hell in a Cell, TLC, and an \”I Quit\” match. Cena currently dominates the series with a 13-7-1 record and has prevailed in their four most recent encounters, dating back to their last confrontation on WWE SmackDown in 2017.

In his controversial championship run, John Cena has boldly declared his intention to \”ruin wrestling\” by retiring with the WWE Championship, effectively removing 62 years of prestigious title lineage. Should he succeed, his departure would necessitate WWE creating an entirely new championship—one that Cena has dismissively characterized as a mere \”toy\” lacking both legacy and prestige.

WWE Backlash will stream live on Peacock in the United States and on Netflix for international viewers, broadcasting from St. Louis at 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT.

  • Zelina Vega Basks In Response to Title Win, Names First Challenger

Zelina Vega captured the WWE Women\’s United States Championship on SmackDown by defeating Chelsea Green, becoming only the second woman ever to hold the prestigious title. The new champion has already demonstrated her commitment to being an active titleholder, revealing her first potential challenger in a recent interview.

Rather than simply celebrating her victory on the blue brand, Vega is already looking ahead to competition—specifically eyeing her close friend Dakota Kai from RAW as her inaugural challenger.

\”I would love to give her the first shot… Dakota Kai gets first shot. I would love that. She has become like a sister to me.\”

Their bond extends beyond the wrestling ring, as the duo co-hosts a popular weekly podcast embraced by fans of both Superstars. Now, Vega is eager to offer her friend an opportunity to showcase her talents in competition, with championship gold potentially at stake.

This championship victory represents Vega\’s first singles title in WWE—an achievement fans have long anticipated. Reflecting on the audience\’s reaction to her triumphant moment, the Women\’s U.S. Champion shared her experience with evident enthusiasm.

\”You started to feel that energy building and once the pin came shortly after, it was just like, it blew the roof off. It was so crazy.\”

Vega was overwhelmed not just by her championship win, but by the passionate response from the WWE Universe. After enduring a lengthy title drought and a prolonged period without significant victories, she had concerns that \”fans had given up on me.\”

As she begins her reign, Zelina Vega is clearly focused on establishing herself as a worthy champion. Rather than waiting for management to assign her next opponent, she\’s proactively seeking competition against someone she genuinely respects.

  • Backstage Response to Zelina Vega\’s WWE Women\’s U.S. Title Win

Zelina Vega is the new Women\’s United States Champion after dethroning Chelsea Green during the April 25 edition of WWE SmackDown. This victory marks not only a significant milestone for Vega herself but also created a genuine surprise for those watching backstage.

According to PW Insider, WWE personnel were legitimately caught off guard when Vega captured the championship from Green. Most talent watching from behind the curtain had no indication the title would change hands until the referee\’s hand struck the mat for the decisive three-count.

One particularly interested observer of Vega\’s triumph was her husband, Aleister Black, who made his own dramatic return to WWE during the same episode of SmackDown. With Black\’s spectacular comeback and assault on The Miz, coupled with Vega\’s championship victory, this episode certainly delivered a memorable night for the couple.

The focus now shifts to Vega\’s championship reign. Will she establish herself with a substantial title run, or will the challenges of being a singles champion prove overwhelming? Only time will tell…

  • Trick Williams Goes Hollywood, Confirms Heel Turn on WWE NXT

Trick Williams confirmed his heel turn during the April 29, edition of WWE NXT as the two-time NXT Champion claimed that he is now \’Hollywood.\’ To back up his silver-screen moniker, Williams bragged about appearing in the season finale of All American on the CW Network.

Getting down to business, Williams took aim at Joe Hendry, who he compared to being a \’local talent.\’ After assaulting Hendry at TNA Rebellion, Williams shared that he was moving on and set his sights on a shot at WWE NXT Champion Oba Femi.

WWE NXT General Manager Ava arrived but instead of giving him what he wanted, scolded Trick for his actions at Rebellion. Williams bit back, declaring himself the biggest star, not only in WWE NXT but also in TNA Wrestling. Ava declared that a 25-man battle royal will take place next week, with the winner earning a title match at Battleground against Femi. This match won\’t just be for NXT Superstars, as it will include talent from TNA, and WWE LFG.

Williams plans on becoming a three-time NXT Champion, but his journey back to the top won\’t come easy if the 24 other wrestlers in the battle royal have anything to say about it.

  • Joe Hendry Appears on WWE NXT, Attacked By Dark State

Say his name, and he\’ll appear, but the April 29, edition of WWE NXT was not a show Joe Hendry will wish to remember. Hendry opened this week\’s NXT with a promo that highlighted his recent appearances in WWE. He also proudly noted his successful defense of the TNA World Championship at Rebellion. During his segment, Hendry called out Trick Williams, referencing Trick\’s attack at Rebellion as well as their other previous altercations.

However, instead of Williams, Dark State appeared and launched a surprise attack on Hendry. The TNA World Champion was overwhelmed by the NXT faction in a brutal assault that clearly painted a target on his back.

While Williams has come to the aid of Hendry in the past, the two-time former NXT Champion was nowhere to be seen during this ambush. At Rebellion, Williams attacked Hendry following the show\’s main event and teased going after the TNA World Championship. Now, Hendry has not only the TNA roster to deal with, but also Trick Williams and the combined might of Dark State.

  • Jey Uso Reveals Neck Tattoo After WWE World Title Win

Jey Uso captured the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 41, and now the new champion also has some new ink. On April 29, Jey shared footage on Instagram from his latest tattoo session. The WWE star unveiled a striking new neck tattoo that extends his existing tribal design, connecting intricate patterns from his shoulder and chest up along the side of his neck.

Created by @samoanmike, the detailed work adheres to traditional Polynesian tattoo styles, marked by sharp geometric flow and deep cultural symbolism. The tattoo wraps upward in tight, layered lines, aligning perfectly with Jey’s already signature body art. The tattoo also features the bible passage Proverbs 17:17, which reads “A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.”

Jey is hardly the first wrestler to get ink on their neck. In 2020, Cody Rhodes debuted his infamous tattoo, which the American Nightmare has since admitted was bigger than he\’d expected. More recently, WWE Hall of Famer The Great Khali introduced the world to his neck tattoo.

Jey Uso is expected to defend his WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WWE Backlash against Logan Paul, where he seeks to prove that his victory over GUNTHER in Las Vegas was no fluke.

  • The Undertaker Confronts Oba Femi on WWE NXT

The Undertaker just made a surprise appearance on WWE NXT—and he came with a message for WWE NXT Champion Oba Femi.During the April 29 episode of NXT, Femi was backstage sharing his thoughts on next week’s 25-man battle royal. The winner of that match will earn a shot at Femi’s NXT Title at Battleground. But before Femi could finish, the Phenom entered.

The Undertaker came face-to-face with Oba Femi and kept it brief. He acknowledged the success of the champion in his title reign so far but then issued a warning:

\”This is your yard for now. Just so you know, I\’ve got some guys in LFG, and they\’re gonna be coming for you soon.\”

LFG is WWE’s new reality series based out of the Performance Center, where The Undertaker serves as a coach. His appearance on NXT served as both a promotional moment and a serious signal: someone from the LFG roster may be eyeing the NXT Championship.

Oba Femi has been dominating the competition since winning the title, but now it seems new challengers could emerge from outside the standard NXT lineup.

  • Samoa Joe Reflects on Jon Moxley\’s Evolution From WWE Star to AEW Staple

Jon Moxley has been a staple of AEW since 2019 and has established himself as one of the company\’s biggest stars ever. In a recent interview with Express U.S. Sports, Samoa Joe discussed what it\’s like to be an adversary of the Death Riders leader, including their confrontation at the recent Beach Break.

\”Moxley\’s without a doubt a very chaotic and very unpredictable opponent. But you know, the best way to handle guys like that is just to keep walking forward straight, [and] smashing them in the face.\”

Joe\’s strategy recently paid off as The Opps captured the AEW Trios titles from the Death Riders, with Moxley substituting for the injured PAC. As far as Samoa Joe is concerned, there\’s never a bad time to share the ring with the reigning AEW World Champion.

\”As far as timing goes, when it comes to a guy like Jon Moxley, it\’s always the perfect time to get in a fist fight with him. The only major difference between Jon Moxley then [in WWE] and now is that he has become more unrestrained. In my mind, he may have taken some shortcuts to achieve the success he has. Others just say that he stacked the deck in his favor and he\’s embraced a more effective form of getting what he wants. So, I mean, that\’s literally the only big difference with him.\”

Moxley and Joe have battled before, and many fans anticipate they will clash again. Will Samoa Joe earn his second AEW World Championship at the expense of Jon Moxley? Only time will tell.

  • CM Punk Set for Vampire Horror Film \’Night Patrol\’ & SyFy\’s \’Revival\’ Series

CM Punk has revealed he\’s expanding his acting portfolio with two major upcoming projects – a vampire horror film and a new television series. In a post-WrestleMania 41 interview with Deadline, Punk confirmed his involvement in \”Night Patrol,\” a horror film he describes as featuring \”night patrol, LAPD, Bloods, Crips, vampires.\”

\”It\’s a total throwback, old-school fun horror movie. I can\’t wait for my fans to see it; as much as I love it, I know they will too.\”

Punk was coy about whether he\’ll be playing a vampire in the film, though Deadline confirmed through sources that Punk will indeed be sporting fangs and an aversion to garlic in the production. The film is written and directed by Ryan Prows, known for his work on the anthology horror film \”V/H/S/85\” and the crime thriller \”Lowlife.\”

In addition to \”Night Patrol,\” Punk also revealed his involvement in \”Revival,\” an upcoming television series set to air on Syfy. While details about the show remain scarce, its placement on Syfy suggests the series may feature elements of science fiction or the supernatural, both staples of the network.

The WWE star also expressed hope for a third season of Starz\’s wrestling drama \”Heels,\” where he portrayed journeyman wrestler Ricky Rabies. Punk shared that efforts are underway to bring the show to Netflix for another season, stating, \”We\’re trying to petition Netflix to do a third season of \’Heels.\’\”

These projects mark a continuation of Punk\’s parallel careers in both wrestling and acting. When discussing how he balances these pursuits, Punk explained that his current WWE contract allows for more flexibility than in the past.

\”It\’s a lot easier now. It was harder back in the day because wrestling was the lion\’s share of what I did, and I wasn\’t allowed to do other stuff. I have pre-existing relationships and projects I work on that are grandfathered into my contract.\”

Punk typically appears on \”Monday Night Raw\” live on Netflix, but his flexible deal with WWE allows him to \”dip out for two weeks to shoot an independent film\” when necessary. Whether in the ring or on screen, CM Punk remains highly accessible to his fans across multiple entertainment platforms.

  • CM Punk \’Dying\’ to Work with Dave Bautista, Teases Potential Rom-Com

Fresh off his WrestleMania 41 main event, CM Punk has revealed he\’s eager to reunite with former WWE colleague Dave Bautista – but this time on the silver screen rather than in the ring. Speaking to Deadline\’s Rosy Cordero following WrestleMania, Punk shared that he and \”The Animal\” are actively exploring a collaboration outside the WWE universe.

\”Me and Dave Bautista are trying to do a rom-com, maybe not together, but it\’s a race. He really wants to do one, and I really want to do one too.\”

A romantic comedy would mark a significant departure from the acting roles both men have pursued thus far. Nevertheless, Punk believes that a heartfelt film would allow audiences to see a more authentic side of both himself and Bautista.

\”Dave and I are two emotional b**ches. We would absolutely kill that genre, guaranteed, him especially. I\’m dying to work with him. What if we were romantically involved? Who\’s not going to pay to see that?\”

While Bautista has established himself as the more prominent acting star with roles in blockbuster franchises like \”Guardians of the Galaxy\” and \”Dune,\” Punk has been steadily building his acting resume alongside his wrestling career. He received high praise for his performance in \”Girl on the Third Floor\” and also appeared in \”Heels\” portraying a journeyman wrestler.

The potential Punk-Bautista collaboration would represent a noteworthy reunion for the former WWE colleagues, both of whom have successfully navigated between wrestling and acting throughout their careers. Bautista has primarily focused on his Hollywood career since retiring from in-ring competition, while Punk surprised fans with his return to WWE in late 2023.

Given both performers\’ star power and their established chemistry from their WWE days, a romantic comedy featuring this unexpected duo could potentially appeal to wrestling enthusiasts and mainstream movie audiences alike.

Bautista Impressed With CM Punk\’s Acting

When asked which other WWE star could become a successful actor, Dave Bautista spoke highly of CM Punk (Phil Brooks), emphasizing both his talent and untapped potential in acting. During a September 2024 interview with Buzzfeed Celeb, the man formerly known as \”The Animal\” said this about Punk:

“You know who I think I really overlooked as an actor? I don’t know if he hasn’t pursued it as much as he’d like to because he’s still heavily pursuing professional wrestling, but it is CM Punk, Phil Brooks. His potential in acting is pretty unlimited. I really want to see more from him in acting. I’d actually love to work with him because I think he has a passion for acting, but I think still his heart is in professional wrestling, and until he’s able to let that go a little bit, he’ll never be able to fully envelop himself in acting, but I think Phil Brooks is a great actor”

  • Samoa Joe Reflects on Champion Pressure and AEW Success

Samoa Joe has reached the pinnacle in several wrestling promotions, having held top championship titles in AEW, TNA Wrestling, WWE NXT, and beyond. In an interview with Express US Sports, the veteran reflected on the pressures that accompany being the main event performer and world champion.

\”When you are the main event and world champion, you\’re expected to make sure that the fans are given their full and greatest amount of satisfaction and happiness. That solely falls on your shoulders,\” Joe explained.

Being a world champion extends far beyond merely headlining a card. As Joe elaborated, carrying the top title also means shouldering a significant responsibility for the promotion\’s future.

\”Holding top championships in professional wrestling is about being the reason people buy tickets and stay glued to their screens.\”

    Samoa Joe and Hollywood

While Samoa Joe is firmly established in the world of professional wrestling, he has recently ventured into entertainment beyond the ring. With roles in Twisted Metal and Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza, Joe is expanding his brand—yet he remains firmly grounded in his roots.

\”It\’s all about knowing when and where the bread gets buttered,\” he remarked.

Joe is currently in his first reign as AEW Trios Champion, teaming with HOOK and Katsuyori Shibata. Together, the trio known as the Opps has established themselves as a formidable force on the AEW roster.

  • IYO SKY Vows Payback Ahead of WWE NXT Appearance

On the April 28, edition of WWE Raw, Roxanne Perez and Giulia attacked Rhea Ripley, bringing Mami\’s match with Perez to an abrupt end. After the match, IYO SKY tried to make the save but found herself out-numbered by the duo of NXT Superstars.

During Raw, it was announced that SKY will be a pasrt of the April 29, edition of WWE NXT. On X, SKY vowed payback after the attack in Kansas City.

SKY at WWE NXT will be a homecoming for the Genius of the Sky, who is a former NXT Women\’s and NXT Women\’s Tag Team Champion. Soon, fans will get another chance to see SKY share the ring with some of the very best from WWE\’s silver brand.

This week\’s NXT will also see plenty for fans to tune in for. In addition to SKY, NXT North American Champion Ricky Saints will defend against Lexis King. New NXT Tag Team Champions Hank Walker and Tank Ledger will defend against Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura. Tony D’Angelo and Channing Lorenzo will come face-to-face while Joe Hendry has been invited to resolve issues with Trick Williams.

  • Jey Uso\’s First World Title Challenger Emerges on WWE Raw

World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso won \’the big one\’ at WrestleMania 41, but fans now have an idea as to who his first opponent will be in this title reign.

Logan Paul kicked off his promo on RAW to a chorus of boos and spoke of his WrestleMania win over AJ Styles before discussing what’s left for him to accomplish in the wrestling business. Logan said there’s not much left for him to do, except to win a World title, and beckoned for Jey Uso to come to the ring.

Before he could finish his sentence, Jey made his way out to the support of the crowd, and  said that he wouldn’t lose his title to some “punk ass YouTuber” like Paul. Jey promised to “silence the noise and that his feud with GUNTHER, one that saw his brother beaten to a bloody pulp, lit a fire under him under the popular Superstar.

Jey dared Paul to come get the title, earning an eye-roll from the Maverick, and Paul responded by vowing that he will take the World Heavyweight Title from Jey.As for Uso, Paul said he will do what he does best, which is \”crash out, screw up, and lose that title in less time than you held the Intercontinental Title.”

That clearly got to Jey, who shut Paul up with a superkick to the delight of the crowd, and while a title match seems likely, no further face-to-face segments have been announced. All signs are pointing to the pair facing off at the upcoming Backlash PLE in St. Louis on May 10th, giving Uso his first major test as a World Champion in WWE.

  • Pat McAfee Ready To Address GUNTHER Attack on WWE Raw

Pat McAfee will return to WWE Raw on April 28 in Kansas City, where he plans to address the shocking events from last week\’s show. During the April 21 episode, McAfee was violently choked out by former World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER, who was enraged over his World Heavyweight Title loss to Jey Uso.

GUNTHER began his April 21 tirade by berating Michael Cole, which prompted McAfee to defend his broadcast partner. The Ring General then attacked McAfee, locking him in a sleeper hold for nearly a minute. The assault left McAfee unable to continue commentating for the remainder of the show, with SmackDown\’s Joe Tessitore stepping in behind the desk. McAfee was later evaluated at a Las Vegas hospital.

In response to the attack, WWE Raw General Manager Adam Pearce announced that GUNTHER has been fined and suspended indefinitely for his actions against both Cole and McAfee. Pearce confirmed that McAfee would return to Raw on April 28 to address the incident and send a message to the Ring General.

On his own show, McAfee discussed his upcoming segment:

\”I think I have to address GUNTHER tonight. I appreciate Adam Pearce suspending GUNTHER. By showing up to Raw, I\’ll have a chance to share my thoughts. The wrestling world is crazy—Steve Austin said \’you\’ve gotta keep your head on a swivel,\’ and The Rock warned me not to turn my back on anybody in this business. I\’m now going to heed their advice.\”

Fans are eager to see how McAfee will respond to GUNTHER\’s brutal assault and whether this confrontation will set the stage for an in-ring showdown when the Austrian\’s suspension is lifted. While Pearce won\’t be on the show, with SmackDown GM Nick Aldis stepping in, fans can expect that Raw\’s authority figure will be keenly interested in what McAfee has to say.

  • Bryan Danielson On The One Thing AEW Needs to Reach WWE

AEW has been in business for six years now and has provided WWE with its most direct competition in a generation. Speaking to the Daily Star, Bryan Danielson discussed what Tony Khan\’s promotion needs to truly reach WWE\’s level.

\”One of the things that I think is time. We\’ve got this incredible TV rights deal, we sold 80,000 tickets to Wembley Stadium… But all that stuff\’s just going to take time.\”

One massive advantage AEW has, according to Danielson, is Khan himself. Describing Khan as \”super kind\” and of a similar mindset, Bryan is pleased to have the AEW President as a boss and a friend.

\”He\’s very in tune with what wrestling fans want… he always tries to treat people with respect and kindness no matter where they are on.\”

Building a company takes more than just the right leader, but a roster of talented individuals hungry to succeed. When asked what his strategy when building a promotion would be, Danielson said he\’d \”hire somebody who knows what they\’re doing\” and build around key talents like \”Will Osprey, Swerve Strickland, John Moxley and Kenny Omega.\”

    Rising Stars to Watch

When discussing rising talents to watch, Danielson expressed strong support for Daniel Garcia, praising \”his connection with the audience,\” and highlighted Willow Nightingale, noting \”she just has a great energy about her.\” As AEW continues to introduce new talent to its roster, Bryan Danielson is keeping a close eye on the stars of tomorrow.

  • Bryan Danielson Has \’Mostly Called It a Day\’ on Wrestling Career

Bryan Danielson has opened up about the serious health issues that have led many to believe his in-ring career has come to an end. Speaking to the Daily Star, Danielson was candid about the physical toll wrestling has taken on his body after a 25-year career.

    \”I don\’t want to 100% say I\’ve called it a day… but you know it\’s mostly calling it a day.\”

Danielson hasn\’t wrestled since October\’s WrestleDream event, but his history of health issues goes back much further than that. The former World Champion revealed that a severe neck injury sustained in his match against Will Ospreay at AEW\’s Dynasty pay-per-view made his final six months of competition especially challenging.

\”I wouldn\’t say good health in the sense of like… I can\’t work out the way that I used to work out… my therapist literally won\’t allow me to… I can\’t hold heavy dumbbells just down.\”

Despite stepping away from competition, seemingly for good, Danielson remains involved with AEW. The American Dragon holds multiple roles behind the scenes and is pleased that his position on the disciplinary committee is one he only rarely has to fulfill.

\”I\’m just kind of a consultant for AEW now… I\’m part of the disciplinary committee… it\’s very little of it.\”

    Wembley Memories

The pinnacle of Danielson\’s AEW tenure came at All In: London 2024 where he captured the AEW World Title from Swerve Strickland. In the interview, Danielson reflected warmly on his Wembley Stadium appearance as a career highlight, particularly having his family present.

\”It was incredible… seeing my kids there, my wife there, them getting to be part of it was just incredible.\”

Today, it remains uncertain whether Danielson\’s family, or wrestling fans worldwide, will see him compete in the ring again. Nevertheless, the legacy Danielson has crafted in professional wrestling is undeniable and extraordinary.

  • Bryan Danielson Explains Why Tony Khan is the Top Executive in Wrestling

Bryan Danielson joined AEW in 2021, and four years later, the American Dragon has no regrets about his decision. Speaking to the Daily Star, Danielson was asked who he would choose to run a wrestling company among Tony Khan, Vince McMahon, Dixie Carter, Eric Bischoff, and Triple H.

\”I would legitimately pick Tony Khan. I think he\’s very in tune with what wrestling fans want, but he\’s also just a good person. I\’m not saying anything bad about anyone else, but I know that he always tries to treat people with respect and kindness,\” Danielson said.

Danielson acknowledged that fans might assume he chose Khan simply because the AEW President is his current employer. To illustrate his genuine reasoning, Danielson shared a story highlighting Khan\’s character following the events of All In: London 2023.

\”One of the talents — someone you would consider very undercard and not a top priority — had an issue. Tony took the time to talk to this person; not talk down to them, but actually talk to them about their concerns or whatever they needed.\”

Danielson has made his loyalty to Tony Khan clear, even as questions linger about whether he will wrestle again. While Khan remains hopeful that Danielson will compete in an AEW ring once more, Bryan\’s commitment to the All Elite Wrestling company is evident both in front of the camera and behind the scenes.
