  • MJF Faces Fallout with Hurt Syndicate on AEW Dynamite

Bobby Lashley is sick of MJF\’s presence in the Hurrt Syndicate, and made that painfully clear during the July 23, episode of AEW Dynamite. During the episode, it was revealed that Adam Copeland had enlisted the Hurt Syndicate to help him fend off FTR. The Rated-R Superstar is currently banned from getting physical with Dax Harwood or Cash Wheeler.

MJF, however, wasn’t on board with the move. He expressed frustration that it had taken him months to earn the Syndicate’s approval, and questioned whether forming a team with Cope was the right call.

Irate, Lashley erupted and made clear that he wants MJF out of the faction. Shelton Benjamin and MVP followed suit, leaving without saying a word to MJF.

Lashley—the last member to endorse MJF—is now the first to call for his removal from the Hurt Syndicate. Now, MJF will seemingly have to win the faction over once again, or risk being ousted from the group.

  • From Wrestling to Wine: Nikki Bella Talks WWE Life & Motherhood

WWE Nikki Bella has spent tenures in WWE both pre and post-motherhood, and has opened up about how being a parent changed her in the ring. On Cody Rhodes\’ What Do You Wanna Talk About podcast, Nikki shared that while she previously sought fame, glory, and championship gold for herself, her focus now is solely on her four-year-old son Matteo.

\”I definitely think that everything for sure gets motivated to provide for your child. I think things that you didn\’t have in your childhood or your life, like you want to provide for them. It\’s so weird to be focused on education, health, like all the things college fund, I do all that, I\’m really big with all that.\”

One way Nikki is providing for Matteo outside of the ring is as the producer of a range of wines alongside her sister. For Nikki, being able to produce a product she\’s passionate about is matched only by the fun she has hosting tastings.

\”Lots of wine coming from Brie and I. And then what I\’ve really fallen in love with is hosting shows. Yeah, I really love hosting. So I\’ve gotten to work with a lot of badass people in the industry.\”

Whether she\’s in the ring of the vineyard, everything Nikki Bella accomplishes in work today is to benefit her son. With her recent return to the ring, it remains to be seen if more gold is in store for the WWE Hall of Famer.

  • Mercedes Moné Shuts Down WWE Return Talk with Blunt Reply

AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Moné isn’t interested in a WWE return at this time, as made clear with a savage response on Instagram. When a fan commented on her Instagram told the CEO to return to WWE, Moné didn’t hold back in her response, stating \”imma need your ugly ass to watch AEW.\”

    https://media.sescoops.com/uploads/2025/07/\"https://media.sescoops.com/uploads/2025/07/\"

Moné made her AEW debut in March 2024 at the Big Business special in Boston and has been a force to be reckoned with ever since. In her first match as an AEW talent, Mone captured the AEW TBS Championship, a title she still holds to this day.

Moné walked out of WWE in May 2022 over creative frustrations alongside Naomi, who has since returned and is riding high on Raw. Since then, the CEO has carved a path on her own terms—and she’s clearly not entertaining the idea of looking back.

Mercedes Moné recently suffered her first singles loss in AEW to \’Timeless\’ Toni Storm at the All In: Texas pay-per-view. Despite this setback, Moné is making clear she\’s in no hurry to return to WWE.

  • Latest On Saraya\’s WWE Status, Potential Return

Saraya didn’t return to WWE at Evolution 2 as many fans had predicted, and now more has come to light about her status with WWE. According to a sources close to ViperReports from Bodyslam.net, WWE not had any recent discussions regarding hiring Saraya as an in-ring competitor. The report states that no internal discussions were held regarding a potential comeback, and she was never considered for an appearance at Evolution 2 in Atlanta.

On social media before the show, Saraya had been quiet, leading some to speculate that she was on a flight. Instead, Saraya was on a flight to Hawaii, though appreciated how eager fans are to see her back.

Though a return hasn\’t been shy about the topic of returning to WWE. Before Evolution, Saraya said she was open to an appearance, and has said she hopes to return to WWE one day as Paige. Saraya\’s contract with WWE was not renewed in 2022, and despite Paul \’Triple H\’ Levesque\’s attempts to get her back after a change in administration that June, she would join AEW that same year.

In WWE, Paige was the first-ever NXT Women\’s Champion, as well as a two-time WWE Divas Champion who won over fans with her mold-breaking look and attitutde. Despite her history with the company and enduring popularity, WWE appears uninterested in revisiting that chapter for the time being.

  • The Undertaker Praises Trick Williams After WWE NXT Confrontation

The Undertaker made a rare appearance in Houston on Tuesday night, stepping into the WWE NXT ring to confront Trick Williams. Following the segment, Taker took to social media to reflect on the encounter with the reigning TNA World Champion.

During the segment, The Undertaker called out Williams’ attitude since winning the TNA Title as well as his stance on the Deadman\’s WWE LFG class. Williams would fire back, arguing that the WWE Hall of Famer has never carried two brands in the way Trick does today.

The segment ended with Williams taking a chokeslam by The Undertaker, who was crowned the dominant coach of WWE LFG\’s first season. While Trick is riding high as a top name in WWE NXT and TNA Wrestling, he now knows not to cross the Deadman.

  • Ted DiBiase Jr.’s Trial Delayed to 2026 Amid New Evidence

Ted DiBiase Jr. has secured a significant delay in his federal criminal trial—one that could meaningfully impact the trajectory of the case. Originally slated to begin this summer, DiBiase’s trial was postponed after his legal team filed a motion on July 2, citing late-arriving evidence. According to the defense, the U.S. government turned over “72 videos of MDHS ‘Law of 16’ trainings”—more than 47 hours of footage—just two months before trial.

They argue this footage shows that “Mr. DiBiase performed a substantial amount of work under the alleged ‘sham’ contracts” and should be considered “directly exculpatory evidence.” On July 8, the court granted the delay, moving the trial date to January 6, 2026.

DiBiase is facing a lengthy list of charges in connection to the Mississippi welfare fraud scandal. These include one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and theft, six counts of wire fraud, two counts of theft concerning federal programs, and four counts of money laundering. If convicted on all counts, DiBiase could face up to 45 years in prison and $1 million in fines.

Ted\’s brother Brett has already pleaded guilty to conspiring to defraud the United States as part of a group of conspirators. Their father, Ted Sr., who is also named in the documents, has claimed that his family is being unfairly targeted due to their fame.

The prosecution argues that Ted Jr. received money for contracts for programs that he did not deliver on. Instead, they allege that the money he was supposed to use to help those in need was spent on personal items such as a house, a boat, and a vehicle, with no meaningful services delivered.

  • Nikki Bella Defends Divas Era: \’We Were Empowered!\’

Nikki Bella is proud to be known as a WWE Diva, even if the promotion has distanced itself from such terminology. While many see the \’Divas Era\’ as a dark chapter in women\’s wrestling, Nikki shared her take during the What Do You Wanna Talk About podcast:

\”Not only are we intelligent, but we get to have a beauty that men don\’t have, and we could use that as power. And that\’s what I always looked at as the Divas, is they had it all. They had empowerment, they had inspiration, there was motivation, and then they had beauty, and they used that as their strength.\”

Today, WWE\’s focus on its female talent is less on being sexy and more on what they can do in the ring. Nevertheless, some of WWE\’s women today found their inspiration watching Nikki, her sister, and other WWE Divas.

\”A lot of the girls were like, especially NXT girls were talking to me today, and I was telling them about connection and all that.\”

Nikki, the longest-reigning WWE Divas Champion in history, recently returned to WWE, and is proving to be \’Fearless\’ against a new generation of talent. While the days of being labelled a diva are well and truly over, Nikki won\’t shy away from her \’Divalicious\’ identity.

  • How Bryan Danielson’s Wrestling Pain Shaped His Philosophy

Bryan Danielson has discovered a profound life philosophy through his years in the ring – one that challenges conventional wisdom about avoiding pain and discomfort. Speaking to The Sun Sport, Danielson explained how wrestling has taught him to embrace what many shy away from.

\”I think one of the beautiful things about wrestling is that it\’s unlike anything else when you\’re out there actually wrestling and it hurts. We spend so much of our lives trying to avoid discomfort.\”

This revelation came through hard-earned experience. Danielson admitted that his previous approach to life\’s challenges was counterproductive. \”I found that trying to avoid discomfort has led to many of the mistakes in my life,\” he shared, reflecting on a decade-long journey of personal growth.

    https://youtu.be/LEpjh8f8Mjc?si=PDKTP8qOSOkpG3fE

The transformation in his mindset became a cornerstone of both his wrestling and personal philosophy. Once he embraced this philosophy, managing both his professional and personal lives became so much simpler.

\”I\’ve really worked in the last 10 years not to try to avoid discomfort,\” Danielson revealed. \”Even when I\’m wrestling, leaning into this discomfort and acknowledging what it is, and then you have the ability to move through it and make better decisions.\”

Danielson’s philosophy was tested in dramatic fashion during his 2023 Forbidden Door match against Kazuchika Okada, when he suffered a broken arm with 10 minutes left in the bout. When the referee asked if he wanted to continue, his answer was immediate: “Yeah.”

This approach extends far beyond the wrestling ring. For Danielson, confronting uncomfortable situations head-on has led to improved decision-making and meaningful personal growth—lessons that continue to guide him as both a performer and individual.

  • Bryan Danielson Reflects on Painful, Emotional AEW WrestleDream Finale

Bryan Danielson expressed concerns about wrestling his final AEW match due to severe neck issues. During an interview with Sun Sport News, he shared the emotional experience of his last match against Jon Moxley in Tacoma, where his career began as a spectator.

\”That was a match that I really enjoyed. I think the last match that I had—which was in AEW against Jon Moxley in Tacoma, Washington—was incredibly special, because that’s the building where I saw my first-ever wrestling match. The main event that night was The Ultimate Warrior versus Rick Rude.\”

The match was attended by his family and friends, providing a heartfelt farewell. Despite the immense pain, Danielson found gratitude and relief in concluding his wrestling chapter. At the time of WrestleDream, Danielson was ready to walk away from the ring for good.

\”I was ready to be done. At that point, my neck had been really bad for six-plus months, causing me tremendous pain. I wasn’t sure I could do what I was being asked to do in the match.\”

Danielson\’s health issues were no secret heading into the Moxley match. While fans were well aware that Bryan\’s time in the ring was winding up, only a select few were aware that Bryan believed he was done.

\”My mom was in the front row. We knew it was going to be my last match. And as I’m getting choked unconscious, I see my mom in the front row and just mouth to her, ‘I love you.’ This whole career that I’ve had—it wouldn’t have been possible without the support of my family. And the fact that my mom got to be there for that moment is really, really cool.\”

Bryan Danielson has dedicated much of his life to pro wrestling. While some would believe that this end was a sad moment for him, the former AEW World Champion made clear this isn\’t the case.

\”The emotion of knowing, ‘Okay, this is the end of this chapter of my life’—and not feeling sad about it, but happy. Happy that I got to experience all of it, and honestly, almost relieved that it was over… because I was in so much pain.\”

Though he returned at AEW All In: Texas, he clarified it wasn’t as a full-time wrestler, leaving his future in the ring uncertain. For now, fans remain on the edge of their seats at what\’s to come for Danielson.

  • Tiffany Stratton Compared to Sabrina Carpenter at NY Mets Game

WWE Women\’s Champion Tiffany Stratton recently attended a New York Mets game at Citi Field, where she was able to take in some high-quality baseball. During the festivities, Stratton was featured on the \’Carbon Copy\’ cam as a double for music artist Sabrina Carpenter.

This isn\’t the first time that Stratton\’s name has come up alongside Carpenter. In February 2025, Stratton pitched having Carpenter perform her WrestleMania entrance, and perhaps even star in a biopic of Stratton\’s life. While Carpenter didn\’t appear at WrestleMania, the two-night show saw Stratton retain the WWE Women\’s Championship against Charlotte Flair.

Time will tell if fans ever see Stratton and Carpenter work together on a project in or out of the ring. In the meantime, Stratton isn\’t shying away from comparrisons to the \’Manchild\’ star.

  • WWE Interested In AEW Alum For Non-Wrestling Role (Report)

WWE is reportedly interested in a former AEW star who could be joining the company in a surprising new capacity. According to Fightful Select, WWE has reached out to Leyla Hirsch about the possibility of trying out for a referee role. This would mark a notable shift for the “Legit” wrestler, who departed AEW earlier this year.

Sources within WWE indicate that internal discussions about contacting Hirsch began around mid-June. Since parting ways with AEW, Hirsch has gotten married to her now-wife and has been active on the independent scene as an in-ring talent.

While it\’s uncommon for wrestlers to transition into referee roles, it’s not without precedent. Jessika Carr started out as a wrestler on the independents before joining WWE as a referre. She later returned to in-ring action in EVOLVE under the name Kalyx in 2025.

Whether Leyla Hirsch ultimately joins WWE as a referee or continues as an in-ring competitor remains to be seen. While Hirsch has likely dreamed of stepping foot in a WWE ring at some point in her career, it may not be to compete with the Superstars.

  • WWE NXT North American Title Gets Redesign, TNA Star To Challenge Next Week

The July 22 episode of WWE NXT brought the action to the 713 Music Hall in Houston, Texas and saw one title get a startling makeover. Ethan Page is the reigning NXT North American Championship and has given the belt a new look.

Before revealing the new title design, Page delivered a scathing promo that took shots at both the United States and Mexico. This was met with loud jeers, including chants of “shut the f*ck up” and “asshole,” among other comments. Page smiled in the ring at the response, as drawing heat was exactly what “All Ego” intended.

At the center of the ring, Page removed a cloth to reveal the redesigned title—complete with a strap styled after the Canadian flag. He used the moment to launch into a pro-Canada tirade, claiming Canadians are superior because they live with pride and honor. He also said Canadians are healthier, better-looking, and happier, and that the air in Canada is cleaner than in the U.S. or Mexico.

Page then began singing the Canadian national anthem, but was interrupted by Santino Marella (ironically, a Canadian.) Marella addressed the situation, saying he had been in talks with Ava about Page’s behavior and declared that he believes he can defeat Page for the title. The segment ended with the announcement that Ethan Page will face Santino Marella on next week’s NXT.

Page isn\’t the first name to give their title a Canadian redesign, as Lance Storm did just that with several titles in WCW. It remains to be seen if Marella can take the gold from \’All Ego\’ next week.

  • The Undertaker Gets Physical In WWE NXT Confrontation

The July 22 episode of WWE NXT brought the action to Houston’s 713 Music Hall, and the atmosphere was electric as Trick Williams kicked off the second hour. After declaring himself the greatest TNA World Champion of all time, Williams took aim at The Undertaker, accusing him of going \”soft.\”

In a face-to-face encounter, The Undertaker called Trick a \”dead man walking\” and said he had everything but respect. He questioned Trick’s attitude, saying the hunger he once had as NXT Champion had faded. Trick fired back, dismissing Taker’s WWE LFG protégés as irrelevant.

When Trick swung first, he got a chokeslam for his trouble. The message was clear: you don’t disrespect The Undertaker and walk away unscathed. Their confrontation had been hyped all week long, incuding by Williams during an appearance at WWE Raw.

As Trick Williams continues his dominant run, he may have just stepped into deeper waters than he expected—with the Deadman waiting to teach him a hard lesson in respect.

  • Goldberg\’s Son Takes Diplomatic Stance on NBC Speech Controversy

Bill Goldberg\’s farewell speech was cut short after just 28 seconds at WWE Saturday Night\’s Main Event, in a shocking way for his career to end. Many have expressed outrage over the handling of the former Universal Champion\’s final moments as an active talent, and now Bill\’s son Gage Goldberg has weighed in.

Speaking with Bill Apter for Wrestlebinge, the younger Goldberg addressed the incident that left his father visibly frustrated. While many have taken issue with WWE for the disruption, Gage isn\’t going to blame the wrestling promotion.

“I don\’t see it as a WWE standpoint. I see it as an NBC stand. NBC has a specific time they can show WWE, and a specific time they’re going to show the news. They\’re not going to screw up the news for WWE because they have to keep their contracts going and everything.”

Gage, who has teased a future in WWE if his football goals don\’t pan out, was quick to absolve WWE of wrongdoing. Instead, he made it clear that \”WWE didn’t want to cut him off like that. I don\’t think they would at all.\”

WWE has since tried to make ammends, including uploading Goldberg\’s speech in full on YouTube. For Gage, this speech was never truly intended for those watching around the world, but the select few who had made the trip to see Goldberg\’s final match in Atlanta.

“I feel like the people that were there in that point in time, that’s who he was really talking to.\”

Gage’s calm, thoughtful response to a highly personal and public moment reflects a level of insight well beyond his 19 years—standing in stark contrast to the intense criticism directed at both WWE and NBC from wrestling personalities and fans alike.

Miller was attacked by Tessa Blanchard at Slammiversary, an action that has earned the controversial wrestler a \’suspension\’ from the company. TNA\’s Director of Authority Santino Marella. As and when Blanchard will return remains to be seen, but Miller is focusing on herself after what transpired at Slammiversary.

  • Drew McIntyre: Only Logan Paul Called During 3-Month WWE Absence

Drew McIntyre has spoken candidly about his recent three-month absence from WWE, revealing that only Logan Paul checked in on him. On the ImPaulsive podcast, McIntyre shared that after his grueling Hell in a Cell match with CM Punk, he felt isolated and largely ignored by the WWE locker room.

“After that match, I was physically and emotionally drained. I expected at least a few messages from the guys, but the silence was deafening. WWE always talks about being a family, but when I needed support the most, only one person reached out—Logan Paul.\”

After returning to WWE TV, McIntyre alluded to just one person reaching out, though didn\’t say who at the time. Now, fans know that it was Paul, someone who fans may not expect given that he is a celebrity-turned-wrestler.

\”Logan Paul, who many see as an outsider, was the only one who checked in on me. That says a lot about the so-called ‘family’ here.\”

His comments have sparked conversation among fans and insiders about the true nature of backstage relationships in WWE. As McIntyre prepares to team with Paul at SummerSlam, Drew won\’t forget how his fellow WWE Superstars left him behind.

“I’ve learned to rely on myself. If there’s a real family in WWE, it’s a small one.”

Stay tuned for more on Drew McIntyre’s journey and the ongoing discussion about WWE’s backstage culture.

  • Drew McIntyre\’s Serves Brutal WWE Roster Critique With Fast Food Claim

Drew McIntyre isn\’t holding back when it comes to his honest assessment of WWE\’s current talent pool, arguing that most would be better-suited slinging trays of fast-food. On the ImPaulsive podcast, the three-time former World Champion argued that many in WWE simply don\’t have the Superstar \’look.\’

\”85% of our guys don\’t look like they should be in WWE. They look like they should be serving me my fast food. Jesus, guys, get in the gym.\”

The comments stem from McIntyre\’s concern about WWE\’s mainstream appeal. He described conversations with friends who tune in occasionally, noting their reactions to the stark contrast between legitimate stars and questionable casting choices.

\”My buddies will contact me and go, \’Yo, I\’ve just turned on the wrestling for a while to see what you\’re up to.\’ It\’s cool to see people. Oh, Logan Paul\’s on there and he\’s killing it. You know, the Roman Reigns, what a freaking star. The guy comes on the screen, comes right off the screen. You\’re a freaking giant. There\’s these other guys. It look like they should be serving me my McDonald\’s.\”

McIntyre\’s frustration extends beyond aesthetics to audience retention. As a fan of wrestling, McIntyre struggles to get behind those who he feels don\’t have the proper aesthetic of a WWE Superstar.

\”It takes me out of it and I\’m like, \’Oh, you know, they\’re they\’re good at wrestling and eventually you you\’ll connect with them, but it\’s I\’m not going to watch it long enough. I change the channel.\’\”

The former WWE Champion\’s comments highlight a growing debate within wrestling about athletic presentation versus technical ability. While the idea that \’bigger is better\’ may not be the norm today, the 6-foot-7 powerhouse believes that his smaller coworkers would fare better outside of the ring and behind the counter.

  • How Drew McIntyre Pulled Off Wrestling\’s Most Viral WrestleMania Stunt

Drew McIntyre has finally revealed the behind-the-scenes planning that made his \”Bored at Work\” WrestleMania moments the most viral wrestling content in recent memory. The Scottish Warrior\’s mid-match selfies during two consecutive WrestleMania events weren\’t just spontaneous social media genius but carefully orchestrated stunts.

Speaking on the Impaulsive podcast, McIntyre detailed how the idea originated during a casual gym conversation:

\”I were in the gym and I was just like, man, like imagine someone tweeted like during a match like you filmed yourself and then posted it, whatever. That was cool. And I was imagine someone did it in the match. Imagine it was a \’Mania.\”

What started as a hypothetical quickly became reality when opportunity presented itself during his match with Seth Rollins. With Rollins down, McIntyre saw his chance to strike.

\”Nobody knew I was going to do it, but I didn\’t know if it was going to happen. We did it right there on the fly.\”

The execution required perfect timing—waiting for Seth to sell an overhead suplex on the floor before grabbing his phone and capturing the moment. The viral impact exceeded all expectations and McIntyre was giddy to share how far his post mid-WrestleMania 40 went.

\”Of the past 60 days when it was posted, it in the first hour it was the most liked second most liked post in 60 days on X of everything like presidents, tweet, it has like 430,000 favorites.\”

The success led to a repeat performance the following year, proving the concept wasn\’t a one-time fluke. This time, the post came during McIntyre\’s showdown with Damian Priest.

\”A year later, I was like, can we do it again? I was like, probably not. And we talked about it and then figured out a plan.\”

Despite the viral success, McIntyre had to wait over a year for WWE\’s merchandise department to capitalize on the moment with official \”Bored at Work\” t-shirts—a delay that reportedly frustrated the entrepreneurial superstar. Whether fans get another post during WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas, only time will tell…

  • Drew McIntyre & Logan Paul Unite Against Celebrity Outsiders Ahead of SummerSlam

Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul have officially solidified their unlikely alliance, fueled by a shared frustration with celebrity involvement they believe undermines pro-wrestling. Speaking on the ImPaulsive podcast, McIntyre made his views clear and gave Travis Scott as an example.

\”I\’m a little bit sick of the Outsiders… [Travis Scott is a] Piece of sh*t. Six-minute run-in at WrestleMania and screw up our damn main event, Travis Scott, which happened by the way.”

What makes this alliance particularly compelling is McIntyre’s recognition of Paul’s legitimacy, distinguishing him from other celebrity guests. With Paul now three years into his in-ring career, McIntyre sees him as far different than the usual celebrity encounter.

“You genuinely make a difference to the show, bring eyeballs and put on performances like someone like Logan.”

Their chemistry extends beyond the ring into their shared approach to social media warfare. Both McIntyre and Paul know how to use their profiles online to draw attention to their respective feuds in WWE.

“We\’re not your average trolls. We rip you apart behind the keyboard. Then we get from behind the keyboard and we can kick your ass as well. And if we weren\’t married, we\’d take your girls, too.”

With SummerSlam looming, their message is clear: stepping into their ring makes you a target—and fame offers no protection from the fallout. Fans can expect the pair to be all business when they face Randy Orton and Jelly Roll at the next WWE PLE.
