  • Daniel Garcia vs. MJF Added to AEW All Out

AEW All Out just got even more intense, as a new match has been officially added to the card: Daniel Garcia will face MJF on September 7 in Chicago. The announcement comes after a violent encounter on this week’s AEW Dynamite, where Garcia once again targeted MJF with a vicious assault.

Garcia revealed that he was the one who stole MJF\’s prized Dynamite Diamond Ring, and pawned it to pay for his trip to London, where he interfered in MJF’s his match against Will Ospreay at All In. In a scathing promo, he didn’t hold back in expressing his hatred.

“Max, ruining your life is all I think about. It is my obsession. Max, ruining your life is my fetish.

    – Daniel Garcia to MJF

Garcia disclosed that AEW President Tony Khan granted his request to make the match official for the upcoming pay-per-view event. With this announcement, All Out continues to shape up as a must-see event.

Stay tuned to SEScoops for more updates and coverage leading up to AEW All Out.

  • Swerve Strickland vs. Hangman Page Steel Cage Match Set for AEW All Out

Swerve Strickland threw the gauntlet on AEW Dynamite, challenging ‘Hangman’ Adam Page to a Steel Cage Match at AEW All Out on September 7. This challenge adds another layer to what has already become one of the most personal and heated rivalries in AEW history.

Strickland, known for his intensity and mind games, had strong words for Hangman when issuing the challenge.

“I challenged you to remind the world what ‘Cowboy Shit is all about. Instead of trying to burn my career to the ground, your career is the one going up in flames, boy. So once again, I ask you a question. In that cage, what kind of man are you going to be? Better yet, what kind of man are you going to show your kids you’re going to be?”

    – Swerve Strickland to Hangman Page

Page accepted the challenge later in the show and AEW made it official.

  • Jon Moxley Returns On AEW Dynamite To Deliver A Cryptic Warning

Jon Moxley made a shocking return at the start of this week’s AEW Dynamite, live from Champaign, IL. The former AEW World Champion had been absent from television for two months, with his last appearance being at the AEW Forbidden Door pay-per-view in June.

During his return, Moxley revealed that he’s been doing a lot of thinking during his time away, reflecting on some matters that need to be addressed. He made it clear that he’s back for a specific reason— to speak to someone who wasn’t present at Dynamite this week.

In a cryptic message, Moxley addressed Darby Allin, stating that while they might seem different, they are also very much alike. He emphasized that this conversation with Allin is long overdue, adding, “Trust me, I’m not gonna be hard to find.”

Before wrapping up, Moxley delivered a bold statement to Tony Schiavone, saying:

\”It\’s going to take some time for everybody to wrap their brains around this, but we\’re going to get started now. This is not your company anymore\”

    – Jon Moxley

Later in the show, Moxley had former UFC and WWE star Marina Shafir roughing guys up backstage.

What Moxley’s words mean for the future remains to be seen, but it’s clear that his return and his new mission will shake things up in AEW.

Stay tuned to SEScoops for more updates on Jon Moxley’s return and the latest developments in AEW.

  • Jacob Fatu One \’Step\’ Closer To WWE Return

Bloodline member Jacob Fatu is no longer wearing a boot on his foot, a positive indication that he\’s one \’step\’ closer to getting back in the ring. At Wednesday\’s WWE live event from Stuttgart, Germany, the Samoan Werewolf was boot-free as he accompanied Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa to the ring for their match:

Jacob Fatu has been out of action since the August 2, 2024 edition of WWE SmackDown, when he and Tama Tonga captured the WWE Tag team championships from Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa. What looked to be the start of a fearsome title reign came to a screeching halt at SummerSlam, when Fatu was injured during a top-rope dive onto Cody Rhodes, who was laid-out on announcers\’ table at ringside.

Due to Fatu\’s inability to compete, Tonga Loa replaced him as Tama Tonga\’s partner, in an effort to keep the gold in The Bloodline. He\’s now one step closer to getting medically cleared, which should make Cody Rhodes and others very uneasy.

  • WWE Legend A.J. Lee\’s Memoir Being Adapted For TV

A.J. Mendez-Brooks\’ best-selling memoir, \’Crazy is My Superpower’ (2017) is being adapted into a television documentary for A&E. Mendez-Brooks became a household name a decade ago as AJ Lee, one of the most popular wrestlers in WWE. The trailblazing performer helped jumpstart the Women’s Revolution before being forced into retirement due to injuries.

Since then, she’s become a New York Times Best Selling Author, has taken several acting roles and has new comic book series, \’Day of the Dead Girl.\’ Mendez-Brooks discussed these projects and more during this new interview with The Comicon:

Crazy is My Superpower: How I Triumphed by Breaking Bones, Breaking Hearts, and Breaking the Rules (2017)

Recently-retired WWE superstar AJ Mendez Brooks is a powerhouse–strong, quirky, and totally confident. But that wasn\’t always the case. With humor and tremendous heart, she opens up for the first time about her harrowing struggle to understand her demons and the diagnosis that helped her gain control over her life.

Everything I was told should be my greatest insecurities and weaknesses, everything that I\’ve been labeled–SHORT, NERDY, SKINNY, WEAK, IMPULSIVE, UGLY, TOMBOY, POOR, REBEL, LOUD, FREAK, CRAZY–turned out to be my greatest strengths. I didn\’t become successful in spite of them. I became successful because of them.

Growing up AJ was a quiet girl trying to act \”normal\” when she felt anything but. As her family struggled with drug addiction, poverty, and mental illness, she found escape through comic books and video games, and was inspired by the tough and unconventional female characters. It wasn\’t until she discovered pro wrestlingthat she learned superheroes could be real.

Determined to become the superhero she\’d always admired, AJ trained and sacrificed for years to achieve her dream of wrestling professionally. Yet she quickly faced industry pressure to play the role of the damsel in distress and to dress more provocatively to cater to male fans. But she fought back and created an ass-kicking alter ego that was a genuine representation of herself: nerdy, enthusiastic, and a little bit crazy.

With humor and tremendous heart, AJ opens up for the first time about her harrowing struggle to understand her demons and the mental illness diagnosis that helped her gain control over her life. What most people view as a hardship, AJ embraced as inspira-tion for her superhero persona, shattering the stigma attached to mental illness.

Charting her journey from a scrappy girl in an unstable home to an empowered wrestling champion, Crazy Is My Superpower is an un-flinchingly honest story and brave confessional about her long road to self-acceptance.

  • Hulk Hogan Jokes About Body Slamming Kamala Harris

During an appearance this week at the Thirsty Cowboy in Medina, Ohio, wrestling icon Hulk Hogan engaged with the crowd in a rowdy and controversial manner, directing remarks at U.S. Presidential candidate Kamala Harris.

The crowd reacted enthusiastically, but Hogan quickly downplayed the remarks, emphasizing that he was only joking, saying, “That was not me, that was the beers talking.”

The event was part of Hogan’s promotion for his new beer, Real American Beer, a premium light lager introduced this summer, which bills itself as “brewed with 100% North American ingredients.” The incident, captured in an embedded video courtesy of TMZ Sports, has garnered mixed reactions.

  • Charles Barkley Would \”Absolutely\” Be Welcomed in AEW

Tony Khan has expressed that he would welcome Charles Barkley to AEW television with open arms if the NBA legend shows interest. Khan, currently making media appearances to promote Sunday’s AEW All In pay-per-view at Wembley Stadium in London, shared these thoughts during an appearance on the Dan Le Batard Show. He discussed AEW’s relationship with Warner Bros. Discovery and ongoing media rights negotiations.

While Warner Bros. Discovery is set to lose the NBA and its iconic Inside the NBA franchise, co-host Charles Barkley remains committed to the company for the foreseeable future. This has sparked speculation about Barkley potentially appearing in AEW, following in the footsteps of Shaquille O’Neal, who wrestled on AEW Dynamite in 2020. Khan mentioned that he believes Barkley is a wrestling fan and recalled the AEW crew presenting the Inside the NBA team with AEW Championship belts.

Khan praised Shaq, not just for his work in AEW but also for the kind of person he is. If Sir Charles is interested in stepping into the unpredictable world of professional wrestling, Khan is “absolutely” willing to make it happen.

\”I don’t know what the future of the NBA holds, but Charles Barkley, as far as being one of the top hosts in all of sports and being one of the most entertaining people in all of television, I think he adds to any sport he’s involved in.

If he wanted to come to AEW, we would love that. Absolutely, I would encourage that and support that.\”
