  • Will Ospreay Thanks Assassins Creed Voice Actor After AEW All In Entrance

    The newly-crowned AEW International Champion Will Ospreay pulled off an epic Assassin\’s Creed-inspired entrance at AEW All In London. He has thanked Roger Craig Smith, who is the voice of Ezio in the Assassin\’s Creed game.

    Ezio had a message as part of Will Ospreay\’s entrance at the pay-per-view at Wembley. A video package having Ezio\’s message along with Assassin\’s Creed Shadows and Will Ospreay\’s highlights was played.

    Roger Craig Smith, the popular voice actor thanked AEW and Ubisoft after they partnered to promote the upcoming Assassin\’s Creed Shadows. He said that he was honored to be a part of such an epic moment at AEW All In London. \’The Aerial Assassin\’ thanked Smith and explained how he had a huge role to play in his career.

    This isn\’t the first time Ospreay pulled off such an entrance. He previously paid tribute to Assassin\’s Creed with a themed entrance at the Wrestle Kingdom 18 event earlier this year.

    It is well-documented that Will Ospreay\’s gimmick is heavily inspired by the Assassin\’s Creed franchise and it is evident from his entrance attire, nickname and his signature moves.

    For his homecoming, Will Ospreay decided to channel his inner Assassin\’s Creed character and walked out to a spectacular entrance at All In London. Will Ospreay donned an Assassin\’s Creed-inspired red, black, and gold robe with two banners that marked the game\’s November 15 release date. The entrance also featured several ninjas performing stunts while wearing Assassin\’s Creed hoodies.

    Following the entrance, Ospreay competed in an incredible match and defeated MJF. He then finally reinstated the AEW International Championship much to the fans\’ delight at Wembley Stadium.

  • Liv Morgan \’Revenge Tour\’ Is Not Over Yet

    WWE Women\’s World Champion Liv Morgan is not yet done with her \’Revenge Tour\’.

    She told TMZ Sports that there\’s still some gas left in the tank and she is not willing to put an end to the \’tour\’. While Morgan initially said that her Revenge Tour is complete, she admitted that she\’s thought over the idea again. She has some more ideas in mind with the \’Revenge Tour.\’

    \”Right now, I don\’t think it\’s over \’cause I still think I have a little gas left in the tank,\” she said.

    Morgan launched her Revenge Tour after she returned in the 2024 Women\’s Royal Rumble match and had her sights set on then-Women\’s World Champion Rhea Ripley, who took her out of action.

    Liv Morgan managed to seek revenge on \’The Eradicator\’ after sidelining the latter with an attack. Morgan had been trying to steal everything from Ripley, including Dominik Mysterio. Liv Morgan had earlier captured the Women\’s World title and after pursuing \’Dirty Dom\’ for weeks, Morgan got what she wanted. She managed to \’steal\’ Dominik Mysterio from Ripley.

    Morgan successfully retained her title against Rhea Ripley at SummerSlam PLE after \’Dirty Dom\’ betrayed his ‘Mami.’ Following the match, Morgan and Mysterio even locked lips as a shocked Rhea Ripley looked on.

    Liv Morgan is set to team up with Dominik Mysterio and face Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley at Bash In Berlin on August 31.

  • Bryan Danielson Outlines His Retirement Plans If He Loses At All In London

    AEW wrestler Bryan Danielson could be stepping inside the ring for the last time at this Sunday\’s AEW All In London. He has revealed what he plans to do next post-retirement.

    \’The American Dragon\’ will battle Swerve Strickland for the AEW World Championship this Sunday. Ahead of the bout, Danielson raised the stakes as he put his career on the line. Should he lose, he will hang up his boots. Danielson is a family man and also focuses on helping his community. The Washington-born wrestler told Bleacher Report that while he is willing to be involved in the pro wrestling business after his retirement, he also wants to give back to the community.

    \”One of the things that is very important to me is to participate in my community. A lot of times, when you look globally or nationally, you see problems and it\’s very hard to affect change. But within your community, you can do a lot. When we travel so much, I\’ve been able to do some things here or there. \”

    The 43-year-old veteran recalled how he once helped a creek restoration in Washington where, several years ago, no salmon were coming back into that stream. He did some physical work as well as helped with funds. He said:

    \”One of the things I\’m proudest of is I helped a creek restoration in Washington where, several years ago, there were no salmon coming back into that stream. And now there are.I went out there three or four times to help actually do the physical work and help fund some of it. Stuff like that is stuff I\’m really interested in.\”

    Bryan Danielson is also hopeful of getting more involved with his kids\’ activities. He said:

    \”Also, my wife got to coach my son\’s tee-ball team last year. She had to go and do something, and I got to step in and be a substitute coach for one tee-ball practice and a game. I had so much fun. So, participating in my kids\’ lives, participating in my community, being an active member and helping with things locally. Everywhere you look, there are always things that can be improved upon. I\’m trying to participate in that where I can.\”

    This Sunday could be Bryan Danielson\’s last match and if that\’s the case it will be the culmination of a legendary career of more than two decades. He will be walking into the sunset as one of the greatest wrestlers to grace the ring, having multiple accolades in the top promotions across the world.

  • Mustafa Ali Reveals His Wife Needed Surgery When WWE Released Him

    Mustafa Ali recently revealed that when WWE released him in September last year, his wife was set to undergo neck surgery.

    Ali dropped a snippet of Immersed: Ali vs. Bailey, a documentary that depicts the build-up and aftermath of Ali\’s match against Bailey at last month\’s TNA Slammiversary 2024. The former WWE wrestler recalled that on the day he was released, he also was informed that his wife required neck surgery. He said:

    \”People don\’t know that the day I got released, I went upstairs and told my wife the news. Two [or] three minutes later, her doctor called her and she was like, \’You have a broken neck. You need neck surgery.\’\”

    Ali felt that he managed to shut up a lot of critics following his match against Bailey. It\’s been almost a year since his wife received the call about the surgery and Ali provided a positive update on his family. He said:

    \”My wife\’s healthy, my babies are healthy. I\’m probably not as healthy after wrestling Mike Bailey, but I think tonight I finally shut up a lot of those critics that thought I couldn\’t deliver.\”

    At Slammiversary, Ali dropped the TNA X-Division Championship to Bailey. He also failed to dethrone Nic Nemeth for the TNA World Championship. Soon, reports emerged which stated that Ali had wrapped up his time with TNA.

    Recently, House of Glory Wrestling announced that Mustafa Ali is scheduled to challenge Zilla Fatu for the HOG Crown Jewel Championship at HOG Chicago on September 5 at the Logan Square Auditorium.

    This will mark the former WWE star\’s third appearance in the promotion. In his previous appearances, he defeated Amazing Red and Alex Shelley. Ali is now aiming a triumphant return to the promotion and end Zilla\’s title run.

  • Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman Reuniting For Non-WWE Appearance

    Former WWE Undisputed Champion Roman Reigns is set to reunite with WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman next month.

    Bloomberg Live announced on social media that \’The Original Tribal Chief\’ and his \’Special Counsel\’ will be heading to New York and join Power Players. They will be sharing their future in the business.

    It has been announced that the half-day experience will take place at Bloomberg World HQ in New York on Thursday, September 5, in conjunction with the US Open Tennis Championships. It has been advertised that the best in the business of sports will \”engage in forward-thinking conversations, forge strategic partnerships, and gain insights that will empower you to stay ahead of the game.\”

    Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman joined forces back in 2020 and established dominance for the next four years. With Heyman by his side, Reigns elevated his career and had a historic World title reign for 1,300+ days. Reigns had also inducted Paul Heyman into the 2024 WWE Hall of Fame.

    However, they haven\’t been seen together ever since \’The Head of The Table\’ dropped his title to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40. Roman Reigns went on a hiatus but Heyman was featured on the shows with the newly formed Bloodline faction under Solo Sikoa, who now claims to be \’The Tribal Chief\’. Sikoa even attacked and dismissed Paul Heyman.

    At this year\’s SummerSlam, Roman Reigns finally returned to make it clear that he is \’The Original Tribal Chief.\’ He laid out Solo Sikoa alongside the other members of the Bloodline. However, weeks forward, the Bloodline turned the tables to take out Roman Reigns with a brutal attack.

  • AEW Collision Preview from Cardiff, Wales (8/24)

    A special edition of AEW Collision is set to take place Saturday night, August 24, 2024, live on TNT at 8pm ET from the Utilita Arena Cardiff in Cardiff, Wales.

    The promotion made its debut in Wales with this week\’s AEW Dynamite and This Saturday\’s AEW Collision is stacked with some exciting matches ahead of Sunday\’s AEW All In 2024 pay-per-view.

    The following matches are set for Saturday\’s AEW Collision, airing the night before AEW All In from Wembley Stadium:

  • Costco Guys Apparently Tease AEW All Out Appearance

    Costco Guys have seemingly dropped hints about a potential appearance at the upcoming All Out pay-per-view.

    AJ from the Costco Guys spoke on Barstool\’s YAK and said they are in discussions with a major pro wrestling promotion about making an appearance in Chicago in early September. He could be indicating an appearance for AEW. It\’s worth noting that AEW is heading to Chicago for Collision on September 6 and the All Out pay-per-view on September 7. Here is what AJ said:

    \”We are working something out with a major wrestling organisation and I think that is almost final. If that does happen, we\’ll be in Chicago in early September.\”

    Brandon Walker noted that would be for an AEW event. However, AJ added while laughing: \”I didn\’t say that.\”

    The Costco Guys – AJ and Big Justice are a Florida-based father-son duo and they gained popularity on TikTok for their love of Costco. They often rate things \’Boom\’ or \’Doom\’ along with The Rizzler. The Costco Guys have a staggering 1.6 million followers on TikTok.

    Though AEW All Out pay-per-view is a few weeks away, only one match has been announced for the show so far. Will Ospreay and MJF are set to collide for AEW American Championship at All In. Pac is set to challenge the winner of that match at All Out.

    AEW American Championship was originally known as the AEW All-Atlantic Championship and Pac was the inaugural champion. He held the gold for 108 days. The title was eventually rebranded the AEW International Championship in March 2023. Now, MJF has again renamed it to be AEW American Championship.

    AEW All Out 2024 will emanate from Now Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois on September 7. It will mark the sixth installment of the pay-per-view.

  • Hangman Page Feels Swerve Strickland Should Have Never Won AEW World Title; Wants To Erase His Name

    Former AEW World Champion Hangman Page never fails to express his hatred towards the current champion, Swerve Strickland. \’Hangman\’ believes that his arch-rival should have never won the title and he feels that their beef could be settled if he could erase Swerve\’s name from the history books.

    Page recently spoke to Paste Magazine about a number of topics including their personal feud with Strickland. During the interview, Page emphasized that his persona is inseparable from his real-life identity. He described the trauma of Strickland breaking into his home, leading him and his family to leave the house they cherished. Page has now vowed to erase Strickland’s name from wrestling history, saying:

    \”He should never have won it. He shouldn’t have it today. He shouldn’t have it tomorrow. It should be mine. If it were mine, I would do everything that I could to erase his name from history of all wrestling from this planet. What would “settle it” would be that, for me to erase him from history altogether, to let his name disappear into the wind and let him be nothing, nothing to anyone else. To solve it would be for him to drop to his knees in front of me and beg for my mercy. On his knees, begging for my mercy. I would never give it, but he should beg for it.\”

    Hangman Page\’s crowning achievement

    Page expressed a deep personal connection to the AEW World Championship. It’s been a little over a couple of years since he dropped. He labeled it “one of the crowning achievements” of his life. He feels the title has strayed from its true meaning since he lost it.

    Bryan Danielson will challenge Swerve Strickland for the title at this weekend\’s AEW All In: London. \’The American Dragon\’ has put his career on the line for the title match. When asked if Danielson’s potential victory could restore the meaning, Hangman said:

    \”He is a fantastic wrestler. He’s one of the best to have ever lived, and admittedly, he doesn’t have long left, and he’s okay with the idea of this being it. I just want to draw a stark contrast to maybe how he feels about that championship and how I feel about it. I’m not okay never holding it again. I’m not okay with it in the hands of the person that it’s in. I would not be okay walking away from this in the state that things are in right now. And if that’s how [Danielson] feels about it, about the championship, about the World champion, I can’t say that I have any respect at all for that.\”

    Hangman Page acknowledged the connection he’s built with fans but he doesn\’t want their support if they don’t actively oppose Strickland. He also harbors resentment toward the Elite and held them responsible for his suspension, which allowed Strickland to win the championship. He said:

    \”…maybe I created some kind of a connection, especially in the beginning of AEW, with certain fans, you know. I don’t know. And if they are with me on this ride that I am on now, then I do appreciate it. But unless they’re willing to attack [Swerve] in the parking lot, unless they’re willing to call out what he did for what it is, and not acknowledge him at all as a champion, then I don’t want their support.\”

    He added:

    \”Had it not been for them, I would have never been suspended. They could have fought that. I stuck up for them. So many times they stuck up for me too, but this last time they could have stuck up for me and I would have not been suspended. [Swerve] would have never won the World championship and right now, to me, that is unforgivable. I don’t know that it can be forgiven. But I’m not really worried about [the Elite] right now.\”

    On last night\’s AEW Dynamite Page announced that he will enter the Casino gauntlet match at this Sunday’s All In. As he begins his quest to reclaim his title, winning the match will earn him a AEW World title shot in the future.

  • Rey Mysterio Wants Mask vs Mullet Match Against Dominik

    WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio wants a high-stakes match against his son, Dominik Mysterio to complete the trilogy. Rey and Dominik were previously involved in a feud that ended at WrestleMania 39. Rey, who initially hesitated to put his hands on his son, taught him a lesson. The legendary wrestler got one up against his son at \’The Show of Shows.\’ Last month, Rey once again defeated Dominik Raw.

    While \’Dirty Dom\’ is desperate to get a win over his dad, Rey Mysterio wants to increase the stakes. He wants a Mask vs Mullet match against Dominik. During his appearance at Fanatics Fest NYC, Rey Mysterio told Comicbook that he is eager to put his mask on the line in the potential trilogy match and he would expect Dominik to put his Mullet on the line as well. He said:

    \”If that trilogy does happen, and when it does, I am willing to put my mask on the line. And he loves his mullet so much, so I would be expecting for him to put his mullet on the line. That or his Dirty Sanchez (mustache).\”

    Previously, Rey had pitched a Mask vs Hair match as well. At 49, Rey Mysterio is currently in the later stages of his illustrious career but he is still competing at the highest level.

    Meanwhile, Dominik Mysterio is involved in a feud with former Judgment Day members Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest. Rhea and Priest were betrayed by Dominik and Finn Balor respectively. \’Dirty Dom\’ joined hands with the WWE Women\’s World Champion Liv Morgan and brought her into the faction. The new Judgment Day soon ousted Ripley and Priest.

    The saga looks far from over as the Terror Twins are trying to exact revenge on Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio. They will collide in a mixed tag team match at Bash In Berlin PLE on August 31.

  • Rhea Ripley Makes Comic Debut With Gil Thorp Comic Strip

    Former WWE Women\’s World Champion Rhea Ripley has made her debut in comics.

    \’The Eradicator\’ was featured on the August 20 edition of the Gil Thorp comic. The edition saw the characters attending a wrestling event at the Milford Convention Center and Rhea Ripley was a performer featured at the event. The characters of the comic were delighted and praised \’Mami\’ for being the best.

    “Gil Thorp” is one of the longest-running sports-themed comic strip which has been in publication since September 8, 1958. The strip revolves around Gil Thorp, who is the athletic director at Milford High School. He trains the school’s football, basketball, and baseball teams.

    Rhea Ripley recently made an appearance at the inaugural Fanatics Fest NYC convention at the Javitz Center in New York City. The festival brought together some of the top stars from WWE, NFL, MLB, UFC, NHL and more. WWE Superstars and Legends participated in Photo Opportunity sessions, Autograph Sessions, stage shows, and live podcasts. The event took place from August 16 to August 18

    Meanwhile, Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest were betrayed by the new Judgment Day at SummerSlam. The Judgment Day saga has been going on for a while and the Terror Twins are now seeking revenge on Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio. The two teams will battle it out at the upcoming Bash In Berlin PLE on August 31.

  • Ricky Starks Draws Interest From WWE NXT

    There has been speculation about AEW star Ricky Starks\’ next move amid his hiatus. He could well be WWE-bound soon as he has drawn interest from WWE\’s developmental brand, NXT.

    It has come to light that Starks is still under contract with AEW despite being away from AEW TV and there are no details as to when his contract expires. Amid the rumors floating on social media, Fightful Select has reported that NXT sources noted there is significant interest in bringing Starks into the white and gold brand once he is available.

    As speculation continues to fuel about his future, Starks took to his social media and dropped a picture of himself. He flaunted his shredded physique and made it clear that he is maintaining his shape ahead of his possible jump to WWE.

    Starks was last featured on AEW TV on March 30 edition of AEW Collision. He had teamed with Big Bill and faced Top Flight in an AEW World Tag Title Tournament match. Starks became one of the top stars of the promotion but his lackluster booking has drawn major criticism from the fans. Reports stated that he turned down creative pitches which led to AEW writing him off the programming.

    Starks previously worked as an enhancement talent for WWE and had some matches for the company. Starks is a good friend of WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes and was spotted at last year\’s Royal Rumble PLE. This could certainly influence Starks\’ move to WWE.

    Moreover, several former AEW stars including Lexis King and current NXT Champion Ethan Page also jumped ship to NXT. Ricky Starks could certainly follow suit. More AEW stars could also be in line to sign with WWE.

  • AEW\’s Dralistico Gets Engaged To Be Married At Disney World

    AEW wrestler Dralistico has revealed that he is engaged.

    Taking to his social media, the 31-year-old wrestler dropped a couple of pictures with his fiancée at the Disney World. Check it out below:

    Back in November last year, Dralístico officially signed with All Elite Wrestling. Before joining the promotion, he competed in the Mexican promotions, CMLL and AAA. He has also competed against the likes of former AAA Mega Champion El Hijo del Vikingo as well as the likes of Jushin Thunder Liger and Kazuchika Okada in matches for New Japan Pro Wrestling.

    Dralistico reveals his AEW contract duration

    During an interview with TJ Sports, Dralistico, who is son of legendary wrestler Toro Blanco, had revealed that his deal is for four years. He also highlighted that he still has a lot to learn and admitted to having difficulty understanding the English language. However, that won’t stop him.

    “Yes, I signed a deal for 4 years with AEW and I am very happy to belong in the company. I have years to learn a lot, to face a lot of great wrestlers, and the English language may have been a difficulty, but it will not stop me. Rome was not built in one day after all, so we will go step by step to keep in favor with the people.\”

    Dralistico has been absent from AEW TV but he had been competing in the independent promotions. His most recent match took place at GCW Take A Picture 2024 in May where he defeated Gringo Loco.

  • Bobby Fulton Asks For Prayers After Facing Heart Complications During Surgery

    Pro Wrestling legend Bobby Fulton recently provided an unfortunate health update.

    Fulton had previously revealed that he almost lost his life during his battle with throat cancer. Last year, Fulton said that an artery ruptured in his throat while undergoing treatment. He added that he had a safety spring in his throat. Bobby Fulton said that he had scars all over his body due to the disease and was fortunate to be alive.

    Taking to social media, Fulton has informed his fans that he underwent surgery to repair his throat from the treatments in 2020 but had heart complications during the procedure. He wants the fans to continue their thoughts and prayers for him as he will be visiting a cardiologist soon.

    \”This past Tuesday I had surgery to repair my throat from the cancer treatments in 2020. Unfortunately during the surgery I had heart complications. This coming week I’ll be going to see a cardiologist. I’m still here and still standing! Please continue the thoughts & prayers!\”

    Bobby Fulton is a pro wrestling veteran and made only a handful of appearances in WWE. However, he has had a successful career in other promotions. After starting his career at the young of 16, Fulton has competed across the world. He was also a part of a tag team with Tommy Rogers known as The Fantastics.

  • Positive Update on Adam Cole Amid Injury Hiatus

    AEW wrestler Adam Cole is likely to be back soon as an encouraging update has emerged on his recovery.

    Fightful Select reported that Adam Cole was backstage at the August 14 edition of AEW Dynamite. Cole was taken off the road as traveling was slowing down his recovery but his backstage presence was a positive sign towards his return to the programming.

    Another promising sign of his comeback is that there is a word backstage that we will resume his training in the ring as soon as next week.

    Adam Cole last competed in the ring on September 3 last year following which he sustained an ankle injury. It took place in the final moments of the AEW Grand Slam last year when he landed awkwardly after he jumped from the entrance ramp. This also impacted the storylines he was involved.

    A month following the injury Cole provided an update on social media. He thanked fans who showed him support while he recuperated with the injury. A few months back at AEW Double or Nothing 2024, Cole was involved in a segment with MJF. \’The Salt of The Earth\’ made his comeback to TV and confronted Cole. Fans speculated that a match would be happening soon. It is not confirmed yet whether the match will take place but it\’s is likely to happen once Cole returns to action.

  • Johnny Gargano On #DIY Reunion: \”Hoped It Would Happen\”

    #DIY reunited last year and Johnny Gargano has revealed that he and Tommaso Ciampa were hopeful to get back together again.

    During a recent interview with TV Insider, #DIY members Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa talked about their reunion and how they felt about it. They were asked if they thought it would happen. 

    Gargano: We hoped it would happen. 

    Ciampa: I wasn’t. I was like, “Please Hunter not again.” It was to the mirror. “Hunter please.” 

    Gargano: It’s something we talked about 10 years ago and the fact we were able to make it happen is pretty awesome. 

    Ciampa: The worst.

    Ciampa and Gargano have a fair share of history from their NXT days. They have been rivals and tag team partners from time to time. While they have put some great matches as a tag team, their rivalry remains to be one of the greatest chapters in the gold and black brand.

    #DIY\’s careers came full circle on the July 5 episode of SmackDown when they won the WWE Tag Team Championships by defeating A-Town Down Under (Grayson Waller and Austin Theory). This came nearly eight years after they beat The Revival to win the NXT Tag Team Championship at NXT TakeOver: Toronto at the same venue in 2016.

    However, they recently dropped the tag team titles to The Bloodline. They are now trying to reclaim the titles back. They had a chance to get a title shot but lost the opportunity as they were defeated by The Street Profits in a No.1 Contender\’s match on last night\’s SmackDown.

  • John Cena Opens Up On Cancelled \’Coyote vs. Acme’ Movie

    WWE legend John Cena wants to believe that Warner Bros. Discovery shelved “Coyote vs. Acme” for \’right reasons.\’

    Cena was part of the film which was nixed back in November, despite being wrapping up the filming process and screened for some audiences. There was a speculation that the movie might be released but that was not the case. The decision of Warner Bros. drew massive criticism.

    During the promotion of his new film “Jackpot!”, John Cena told TheWrap about the tough part of the movie business. He acknowledged that the director and everyone involved in the movie invested their heart and soul but it was never released.

    “There’s a lot there. And everyone’s perspective is different. We don’t own the film. That’s the tough part about this business, you do have a sense of ownership because you invest heart and soul. And [director] Dave Green and everybody involved, we made what we thought was a good movie.”

    The popular Hollywood actor said that he would have liked to give the movie a chance but he respects the \’right reasons\’ behind the movie being scrapped off.

    “I would have liked to seen it given a chance. But I’m just one person. And if it was shelved, I would have to think that it was shelved for the right reasons and it was a good business decision.   • Kenny Omega Return Remains Up In The Air Amid Recovery

    Michael Nakazawa has provided an update on Kenny Omega, who is working hard towards his recovery.

    \’The Cleaner\’ has been away from AEW since December last year with diverticulitis. Michael Nakazawa told Love-Spo that Omega has “diverticulitis of the large intestine” which is a serious condition that could be fatal if not properly treated. Omega has been able to do physical training but he\’s not able to lift weights which he used to before. The 40-year-old wrestler has been doing physical training, and rehabilitative exercises such as walking and pool workouts. He revealed that Omega is trying to find the best training. Nakazawa said:

    \”He has been able to do physical training. He is still not able to lift the same weights as before, so he is trying to find the best training that he can do while incorporating rehabilitative elements such as walking and exercising in the pool, and he is working hard toward recovery. He is trying to find the best training he can do at the moment.\”

    Omega has a significant physical impact and he has no power in the abdomen. It\’s a concern whether he will be able to perform in his condition. Thereby, there is no timeline for his comeback. Nakazawa explained:

    ”That’s right. Since there is no power in the abdomen to begin with, there is a concern about whether or not one can perform in such a state. The impact is physically quite strong, so you never know how it will affect your internal organs. So I can’t say anything about when he will be able to return to work.”

    Earlier this year, the former AEW World Champion returned to Dynamite. However, he was brutally attacked by Jack Perry and The Young Bucks.

    Omega first noticed symptoms following a match in Canada. He had severe abdominal pain that continued even after he returned to his home in Orlando, Florida. He could have landed in danger if he had delayed seeking medical attention. Omega underwent surgery in May. The doctor treated him without invasive surgery and removed about 25 cm of the affected colon.

Brady had a fun time as a video clip on social media depicts he\’s walking out to Hulk Hogan\’s entrance song, \’Real American\’. However, \’The Scottish Warrior\’ wasn\’t impressed.   • Oba Femi Issues Another Open Challenge After Successful Title Defense

    NXT North American Champion Oba Femi has yet again put the NXT and main roster locker room on notice. He has issued an open challenge after Otis failed to dethrone him.

    On the latest edition of NXT, Oba Femi held an Open Challenge for the NXT North American Championship. Alpha Academy member Otis had answered his challenge. However, he couldn\’t get the job done. WWE dropped a video on social media in which Femi boasted his successful title defense against Otis and feels nobody can dethrone him. He said:

    \”Another successful title defense. With all due respect to Otis, he couldn’t get the job done tonight. I challenge anyone from NXT and anyone from the main roster to come here and give me a challenge. Because if Otis couldn’t do it, I don’t think anyone can.\”

    Oba Femi was in attendance On this week\’s Raw and he had a stare down with Otis. Soon, the Alpha Academy member accepted Femi\’s open challenge. Otis pushed Femi to his limits early on in the match. However, the champ managed to turn the table soon. In the final moments of the match, Femi hit a devastating powerbomb on Otis and secured a pinfall victory.

    Oba Femi has been a dominant champion. After winning NXT Breakout tournament, he cashed in his contract on Dragon Lee earlier this year. Since then he has been defending his title against open challenges. He has defended his NXT North American title against the likes of Dragon Lee, Brooks Jensen, Lexis King and Duke Hudson. With the win against Otis, the Nigerian powerhouse has extended his winning streak.

    AEW star Dax Harwood has revealed a rising talent, ‘Dynamite Kid’ Tommy Billington was offered an AEW contract despite interest from WWE.

    Reports recently emerged that ‘Dynamite Kid’ Tommy Billington signed with All Elite Wrestling. He is the nephew of Tom Billington, who was one-half of the iconic British Bulldogs and teamed up with Davey Boy Smith.

    Dax Harwood spoke about the youngster during an Instagram live. He revealed that Tommy Billington received an AEW contract offer the same night as his match against Harwood. The next day WWE called close aides of Billington to check whether he had an interest in joining WWE. However, Billington decided to sign with AEW.

    Billington has had a couple of impressive outings against veterans Konosuke Takeshita and Dax Harwood in recent months. His match against Dax Harwood gained traction. Though he lost the matches, he was able to put up impactful performances.

    Fans speculated about his contract status and Fightful reported that “according to talent close to Tommy, they say that he’s been signed by AEW.” While WWE and NXT also expressed their interest Tommy was determined to sign with AEW. The 23-year-old star Tommy Billington is undoubtedly a promising talent and he has a bright future ahead. After starting his career in 2018, he has competed in several independent promotions including RCW, WPW, DEFY.

    Lucha Brothers\’ Penta El Zero Miedo recently refuted the rumors of him possibly jumping ship to WWE.

    WrestlePurists reported that Penta would be in Orlando at some point this week, indicating his signing with WWE. However, Penta El Zero Miedo took to social media and cleared the air on his future. He urged the outlet to stop posting fake news and said that he is currently signed with AEW.

    \”Please stop posting fake news !! My present is AEW !!\”

    In another tweet, Penta wrote:

    \”no more gossip! my present is aew!\”

    Reports started to float that former AEW World Tag Team Champions The Lucha Brothers (Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey Fenix) are expected to part ways with AEW after their contracts their contract expire later this year. They both have reportedly drawn interest from WWE. It was previously reported that Penta’s contract with AEW will end between August and September.

    On August 1, Penta El Zero Miedo filed trademark for the names of “Cero Miedo,” “Zero Miedo,” and “AN1MO” for the meaning of entertainment purposes. Meanwhile, Rey Fenix filed for “King Fuego,” “Rey Fuego,” and “Fuego” all on the same date for the same reason. This further fueled speculation about their future.

    Rey Fenix withdrew from an indie appearance which implied that he had signed a deal with WWE. New Era Wrestling confirmed Fenix’s withdrawal from their event which is scheduled for September 2nd. While Penta El Zero Miedo has snubbed the rumors, Rey Fenix has remained tight-lipped about his future.

    Eric Bischoff has found a new career in the mortgage industry as per Conrad Thompson. It has come to light that the pro wrestling veteran has launched his career as a mortgage loan officer.

    Thompson, who has thrived in the mortgage industry had assembled a team of talented members and built his Save with Conrad company. However, he soon linked with pro wrestling through his podcasts which further put his company in the limelight. He then added Eric Bischoff to his 83 Weeks show podcast.

    Thompson told Justin Barrasso Sports Illustrated that Eric Bischoff was ready for a new adventure and detailed how the WWE Hall of Famer got into the mortgage industry. He revealed:

    “Eric knew that I did mortgages, and he was looking to do a refinance. We took a stab at it, came up with a plan, and found a way to help him, as he puts it, change his life. When we’d do the podcast together, he would heap praise on me for saving him a boatload of money. That’s when Eric became enamored with the idea of helping people in a similar way.”

    Thompson added that Bischoff didn’t want anyone to know about his new project and he loved the idea of helping people, similar to how Thompson did. The 69-year-old managed to pass a test that had a high failure rate and got licensed. Thompson decided to hire Eric Bischoff as a mortgage loan officer and he made it clear this is the real side of the veteran who is motivated and genuinely wants to help people. He said:

    “He doesn’t need this to pay the bills, he’s doing it because he wants to,” said Thompson. “I know he played a bad guy on TV, but that was TV. This is real-life. And the real-life Eric Bischoff is hungry and motivated to help people.“

    Bischoff is connecting with people while working in his office at his home in Wyoming. He excited to help people and some might turn out to be wrestling fans who are familiar with him. He said:

    “It’s wrestling fans responding to Conrad’s advertisements, and if a wrestling fan is calling about a new home or a refinance, they’re familiar with me. They’re excited to get a call from me. I’m excited to help them. If I can save someone money every month just by seeing the bigger financial picture, that’s extremely rewarding. It’s made a very profound impression on me.”

    After a decorated pro wrestling career, Bischoff continues to help several people and remains eager to make a new impact in the mortgage field.

    WWE legend John Cena is determined to hang up his boots and he has made it clear that no amount of money could change his mind. He has now shared some more details on his upcoming retirement tour.

    During the Jackpot! promotion, Cena told ComicBook that he has built a trustworthy relationship with the fans over the years and the 16-time World Champion is a man of his word. His decorated in-ring career will culminate in December 2025 and said that even if he is offered a huge sum of money, he will still retire. He said:

    \”There isn\’t a check writer with enough money to change my mind when I hang it up in December. I don\’t want to continue for ego or financial gain. I built a relationship of trust and authenticity over the years with the WWE, and that\’s people who think I suck and people who believe in me, they know that I shoot them straight and I\’m trustworthy.     Cena, who has had a legendary career said that he wants to try something special for his farewell tour and go through the memories of 25 long years. He said:

    AEW wrestler Daniel Garcia has drawn interest from WWE as his contract with AEW will expire within the next few months. We have an update on his status with the promotion.

    Daniel Garcia became one of the biggest babyface wrestlers in AEW before he was written off. He has been away from the AEW programming since July. It has come to light that as Garcia’s contract with the company is set to expire in October, he was written off the storylines until he decides to re-sign.

    Fightful Select reported that a top figure in the company noted that he was staying with the company and even speculated that he had re-signed. However, that is not the case as of last week. With Daniel Garcia being on WWE\’s radar, AEW understandably wants to retain him.

    Garcia had competed against Will Ospreay for the AEW International title at \’Beach Break.\’ However, he suffered a defeat against \’The Aerial Assassin\’ after MJF interfered. He had offered his Dyanmite Diamond Ring to Garcia, who refused to use it. This led to Ospreay pinning him for the win. Following the match, MJF hit a low blow on Garcia to turn heel in the process. \’The Salt of The Earth\’ assaulted Garcia and left him bloodied and battered. Ever since, Daniel Garcia is away from AEW TV.
