  • Penta On Rey Fenix WWE Debut: Best in the World in the Best Company

Penta has weighed in on his brother Rey Fenix’s arrival to WWE as he is expected to make his WWE debut on the April 4th episode of WWE SmackDown. An opponent has not been announced for Fenix.

While speaking to Sebastian Hackl of WWE Deutschland, Penta was asked about Fenix\’s upcoming debut with the promotion.

\”Finally! The best wrestler in the world comes to the best company in the world,\” said Penta.

Penta and Fenix were known as the Lucha Bros in other promotions, including AEW, AAA, and TNA, where they found success. The brothers won tag team gold in all of those promotions.

Fenix had time added to his AEW contract due to time missed that resulted in his delay to WWE alongside his brother Penta. Penta suffered his first pinfall loss on Monday\’s WWE Raw when he teamed with WWE Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker in defeat to Judgment Day (Finn Balor & Dominik Mysterio). Penta was pinned by Balor.

  • Mick Foley Shares Update Following Car Wreck

Mick Foley recently had a serious car accident, but thankfully, he didn\’t get badly hurt. He shared a picture of his wrecked car on Tueesday to and alerted fans of what happened.

The Hardcore Legend said he was sore and had a slight concussion, but he knew he was lucky it wasn\’t worse. This was a scary situation, but he walked away from it mostly okay.

On Wednesday, Foley made a video to thank everyone who sent him well wishes. He said it was almost unbelievable that he only had some soft tissue damage from the crash. Even though he\’s still feeling the effects of the accident, he plans to keep all the appointments and appearances he already had scheduled.

“Hey everybody, it’s Mick Foley. And I just want to take a moment to thank all of you for your well-wishes, your positive energy, your prayers,” he said. “I had so many people in wrestling reach out to me. I just was sending some texts with The Undertaker a few minutes ago. Triple H reached out. Been a pleasure, really, to have had some of the biggest stars in wrestling — and Al Snow — reach out to me [laughs]. That never gets old.

“I’m going to be honest, though — I’m banged up. I feel like a truck has run over me. I’m propped up against about seven pillows. But, looking at that accident, and looking at that car, I don’t think anyone would predict that the guy in that car would come out of it with soft tissue damage. It’s pretty — I don’t want to say miraculous, but I’m feeling really fortunate right now. And I will not be missing any of my dates. I’ll be in Texas this weekend. I’ll be traveling to New Mexico, Arizona, of course on to WrestleMania.

“And, again, I just want to thank everyone [and] assure you that it was not an April Fool’s joke. I’m very grateful, very sore, but thankful for all of you. Have a nice day.”

Foley, when he was at a wrestling fan event in February, said that his health was \”pretty good\” overall. He also mentioned that he\’s lost a lot of weight and that he used medicine to help him with his weight loss.

WrestleCon confirmed via Twitter that Baker will be available for meet-and-greets on April 17-19. Pricing includes $50 for autographs, $50 for selfies, and $80 for combo packages, with no table pre-orders available.

  • Cody Rhodes Recalls Steve Austin Babysitting Him as a Child

Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes shared a surprising story on Stephanie\’s Places involving “Stone Cold.” Before his rise to superstardom, he revealed that a young Steve Austin once babysat him during WCW shows.

“It was a legit, real babysitter. In terms of my dad had to go out and do a meeting. Hey, will you watch him? And most of the guys at that age really didn\’t feel you needed to watch me. But he actually would kind of check in, hey, all right, kid, all right, and then pop back out. And I thought years later, watching him, you know, Stone Cold Steve Austin, you know, romp and stomp and doing everything changing the industry. If you were in this building, you knew Stunning Steve Austin was awesome. He was outstanding. And I feel like if you saw him, you weren\’t surprised, maybe the character and everything that was far you\’d never seen anything.”

The shocking heel turn of John Cena, coupled with his alliance with The Rock and the unexpected addition of Travis Scott, has created an interesting opposition for Cody Rhodes heading into WrestleMania 41. Rhodes may require significant support to defend his Undisputed WWE Title if he faces such a powerful trio while defending his title in a singles match against Cena. Austin has stepped forward, offering his assistance and throwing his iconic \”hat in the ring\” to even the odds in Las Vegas.

Austin\’s willingness to aid Rhodes was made clear during a 2024 interview on the \”Unlikely with Adrian Hernandez\” podcast, where the WWE Hall of Famer expressed his readiness to stand by the current Undisputed WWE Champion.

Austin’s Submission Match with Bret Hart from WrestleMania 13 will be inducted into this year’s WWE Hall of Fame class as part of the new Immortal Moments category.

  • Bret Hart: Vince McMahon Governed Things In A Shady Way And Didn\’t Care About The Craft

The infamous Montreal Screwjob at WWE Survivor Series 1997, where Vince McMahon orchestrated a controversial ending to Bret Hart\’s WWE Title match against Shawn Michaels, forever bound the two men\’s legacies.

For decades, the idea of a WWE without McMahon at its helm seemed inconceivable. However, this perception was shattered in January 2024 when McMahon resigned as chairman following a lawsuit filed by former employee Janel Grant.

Grant\’s allegations of sex trafficking and sexual assault against McMahon sent shockwaves through the wrestling world, leading to his abrupt departure and marking a significant turning point in WWE\’s history. This resignation, ending his long control of the company, and the legal battle that followed, created a new chapter for the wrestling giant.

While appearing on The Ariel Helwani Show, the WWE Hall of Famer was asked if he thought there would ever be a time when Vince wasn\’t running WWE

\”No. I feel that, as great as he was as far as ideas and imagination…in a lot of ways there is nobody like him. At the same time, I feel that he kind of governed things in a shady way. He didn\’t care necessarily about the craft. I always thought about what he did to me. I like to think that I was his greatest artist and in the end I was just another [wipes hands] \’get rid of him. He\’s done.\’ As much greatness as Vince brought to wrestling, he always brought a lot of negative and corrupted thinking to it. It\’s kind of hard to explain, but there is a little more integrity right now and the guys being pushed are being pushed because they\’re talented and not because they are Vince\’s favorites.\”

McMahon\’s decision to call for the bell without Hart\’s knowledge or consent created a shift in professional wrestling, marking a moment of betrayal that reverberated throughout the industry. Hart\’s subsequent departure for WCW further fueled the animosity between the two, solidifying the Screwjob as a defining moment in their complex relationship.

Despite the deep-seated animosity stemming from the 1997 incident, Hart and McMahon eventually reconciled, culminating in Hart\’s induction into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2006. They later worked a match at WrestleMania 26.

  • Stephanie Vaquer Relinquishes Women’s North American Title

The NXT Women\’s North American Championship has been officially vacated, setting the stage for a high-stakes ladder match at Stand & Deliver. The announcement was made by Ava and Stephanie Vaquer at the beginning of NXT, with Ava explaining that the North American title\’s prestige demands frequent defenses, a challenge given Vaquer\’s dual championship status. Recognizing this, both agreed that Vaquer would relinquish the North American title, paving the way for a new champion to be crowned in a six-woman ladder match at the upcoming event.

However, Vaquer stipulated a condition for her relinquishment: the right to choose her opponent for Stand & Deliver. This twist immediately added intrigue to the situation, sparking a heated debate. Jordynne Grace emerged, making a compelling case for her inclusion in the ladder match, only to be interrupted by Jaida Parker. A verbal altercation quickly escalated into a physical brawl, requiring security intervention to separate the two competitors. This unexpected turn of events amplified the tension surrounding the vacated title and the upcoming Stand & Deliver event.

Vaquer\’s journey to becoming a double champion began at Roadblock last month, where she defeated Giulia to capture the NXT Women\’s title. Her ability to defend both championships was tested on the previous week\’s NXT show, showcasing her resilience and dominance. She successfully retained the Women\’s title against Jaida Parker and then, in a hard-fought main event, defended the North American title against Fallon Henley.

The decision to vacate the North American title, coupled with Vaquer\’s stipulation and the subsequent brawl between Grace and Parker, has created a compelling narrative leading into Stand & Deliver. The six-woman ladder match promises to be a chaotic and unpredictable affair, with numerous competitors vying for the vacated championship. This development has injected significant excitement into the NXT women\’s division, setting the stage for a potentially historic moment at the upcoming event.

  • Charlotte Flair: If It Happens, I Look Forward To Creating More Magic At WWE Evolution 2

Charlotte Flair has expressed her eagerness to participate in a potential Evolution 2 event, following recent reports from WrestleVotes and PWN indicating WWE\’s plans for a second all-women\’s pay-per-view this summer.

In an interview with the Daily Mail\’s Alex McCarthy, Flair conveyed her anticipation for the event, highlighting her desire to create another memorable match should WWE proceed with its rumored plans.

\”One of my favourite matches is from the first evolution. Becky Lynch, last woman standing. One of my top three favourite matches.There\’s always rumours that it\’s happening, so until it happens, I can\’t say yet because we don\’t know. Y\’all are the ones with the scoop! No, I mean, I think it\’d be great if we have it. But I still think the goal is to have more main events and more storylines and so on. The magic that I created on the first one, if it comes to fruition, I look forward to creating more magic on Evolution 2.\”

The first-ever Evolution event, held on October 28, 2018, at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, marked a significant milestone for women\’s professional wrestling. This groundbreaking pay-per-view featured a compelling lineup of matches, culminating in a headline bout between Nikki Bella and Ronda Rousey, solidifying its place in wrestling history. The event\’s success underscored the growing prominence of women\’s wrestling within WWE and the industry as a whole.

Recent reports suggest that WWE is exploring the possibility of hosting a second Evolution premium live event on July 5th at the Mohegan Sun Casino & Resort in Uncasville, Connecticut. However, it\’s important to note that these plans remain preliminary. Sources have indicated that the schedule is still subject to change, and the event is currently in the developmental phase. This uncertainty highlights the fluid nature of event planning within WWE.

  • Steve Austin Reacts To WWE Hall Of Fame Match Induction

Steve Austin offered his candid reaction to the recent announcement of his induction into the WWE Hall of Fame\’s new \”Immortal Moments\” wing. The wrestling world was stirred on Friday, March 28th, when WWE revealed this new Hall of Fame category, with the iconic WrestleMania 13 match between Austin and Bret Hart being the inaugural inductee.

During an autograph signing event with American Icon Autographs, Austin was directly questioned about the significance of this honor.

“Yes and no. I men’s, it was a hell of a match and we knew it at the time, I think it was good that it was in Chicago because Chicago is kind of a stronghold for me but it would’ve worked anywhere with the fact that it happened with Bret The Hitman Hart. There’s a couple behind-the-scenes stories that I don’t want to talk about but it was a hell of a match and it’s cool for people to still remember it damn near 30 years later. Yeah, it means something to me because if it wasn’t for the fans, I wouldn’t be sitting here. So, the fact that match is relevant and it’s going into 2025 Hall Of Fame for matches and it’s the first match to be inducted, cool.”

Austin was asked to reflect on his extensive career and identify a match he wished had been recorded. He recounted a particularly memorable encounter with Ricky Steamboat at the Los Angeles Forum, a thirty-minute contest he described as a \”barn burner,\” lamenting its absence from any archival footage. Austin also expressed fondness for his WrestleMania 17 match against The Rock in Houston\’s Astrodome, praising the collective energy of the event and the high caliber of performances from all involved. He added that his match with Owen Hart, though tragically cut short by a severe accident, was also progressing exceptionally well. Austin acknowledged the variability of his career, admitting that there were instances where his performances fell short of expectations.

Austin\’s reflections highlighted the ephemeral nature of live wrestling, particularly house shows that lacked the recording infrastructure of televised events. He stressed the collaborative aspect of successful WrestleMania events, emphasizing how a strong undercard contributed to the overall atmosphere and allowed the main event to resonate more deeply. Austin\’s honesty about both his triumphs and failures provided a candid glimpse into the complexities of a professional wrestling career.

The WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2025 has been announced, featuring several prominent figures. Triple H, Michelle McCool, Lex Luger, and The Natural Disasters are all set to be inducted.

  • John Cena\’s \’Coyote vs Acme\’ Film Rescued

Wrestling superstar John Cena\’s shelved movie \”Coyote vs Acme\” has found new life after Ketchup Entertainment confirmed their acquisition of the worldwide rights to the live-action/animated hybrid film.

According to Deadline, the deal, reportedly worth around $50M, will bring the Looney Tunes character to theaters in 2026.

Cena stars as an intimidating corporate lawyer representing the Acme Corporation against Wile E. Coyote, who sues the company after their products repeatedly fail him in his pursuit of Road Runner. Will Forte plays the billboard lawyer representing Coyote, with Lana Condor and Tone Bell completing the cast.

Despite testing well with audiences, the film became a casualty of Warner Bros\’ cost-cutting measures two years ago. The studio had previously screened the movie to buyers with a $70M price tag, matching its reported production cost.

While Cena maintained a diplomatic stance about the shelving, other talent expressed stronger disappointment, with Forte calling the move \”fcking bullsht.\”

This rescue represents a significant investment for Ketchup Entertainment as Cena balances his Hollywood career with his WWE retirement tour.

  • Karrion Kross Could Be a Free Agent This Year

WWE superstar Karrion Kross has established himself as one of the company\’s most unique talents, having captured two NXT championships and developed a distinctive on-screen presence alongside his wife Scarlett. His unique presentation and in-ring intensity have made him a standout performer since his initial WWE signing in 2020.

Karrion Kross is approaching the end of his current agreement with WWE, according to a report by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select. The belief is that his contract will conclude this summer, though the exact date is still being confirmed.

    Kross\’ Position in WWE

Within WWE, Kross has earned praise for his ability to connect with fans through social media and his involvement in storylines on the Raw program. His skills in promoting himself and engaging with the audience have been noted as particularly effective. This positive feedback from within the company could play a role in any future contract negotiations.

Kross and his wife, Scarlett, experienced a period outside of WWE after being released in November 2021. During this time, Kross was offered a one-time match with AEW, but he chose not to accept. He also participated in events for MLW and NJPW, where he was said to have made a strong impression on those he worked with. This period of his career demonstrates his versatility and ability to perform in various wrestling environments.

However, Kross was brought back into WWE when Triple H took on a leadership role in 2022. His wrestling experience extends beyond WWE, as he is a two-time NXT champion and has also performed in Impact Wrestling, MLW, and Lucha Underground. This diverse background adds to his value as a performer and offers him a range of potential paths in the future.

In addition to his wrestling career, Kross is involved in other creative projects, including a film and a book release. These endeavors showcase his interests outside of the ring. Ultimately, whether Kross will choose to sign a new contract with WWE or pursue other opportunities in the wrestling world remains to be seen.

  • Goldberg Begins Training For His Wrestling Retirement Match

Goldberg is preparing for his final match in 2025, prioritizing health and recovery in the process. He previously stated on ESPN’s College GameDay last year that his retirement match would take place in WWE.

Goldberg revealed on Instagram that he has begun training for his retirement match, and his team includes Kevin Von Erich and Tyrone Spong.  The caption says, “And the grind begins…..assembling my inring crew? @goldberg21_99 @ramvonerich @coachjimmyhouse @thekevinvonerich @black_diamond_martial_arts @tyrone_spong.”

The WWE Hall of Famer underwent stem cell treatment, a procedure he prepared for by making significant lifestyle changes. On his CarCast podcast, Goldberg previously revealed that he had to eliminate bad habits, such as tobacco use and poor dietary choices.

Goldberg had a confrontation with World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER at Bad Blood this past October. His last match took place in 2022 at the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event, where he faced Roman Reigns.

In a recent interview with Ariel Helwani, Goldberg discussed his future plans, emphasizing that he has many potential opponents for his retirement match. He mentioned Bron Breakker and GUNTHER as possibilities, highlighting that a match against GUNTHER would symbolize a passing of the torch to a new generation of wrestlers. Goldberg seemed enthusiastic about the prospect, suggesting it would be a meaningful conclusion to his career.

Dave Meltzer had previously reported that GUNTHER was the intended opponent for Goldberg\’s final match, which was likely to occur after GUNTHER lost his World Heavyweight Championship. However, it\’s uncertain whether these original plans are still in effect.

  • Ken Shamrock Discussed For 2025 WWE Hall Of Fame Induction

Ken Shamrock\’s potential induction into the 2025 WWE Hall of Fame has become a topic of discussion, with Dave Meltzer reporting in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that his name is being considered.

Shamrock\’s impactful WWE run from 1997 to 1999, where he seamlessly blended his MMA and UFC background into the wrestling world, left a lasting impression on fans. Known as \”The World\’s Most Dangerous Man,\” his intense fighting style, genuine toughness, and devastating Ankle Lock submission made him a formidable presence.

Several key highlights marked Shamrock\’s WWE career. His debut as a special guest referee at WrestleMania 13, during the iconic Bret Hart versus Steve Austin match, immediately placed him in the spotlight. He then engaged in heated rivalries with Bret and Owen Hart, with his \”Lion\’s Den\” match against Owen at SummerSlam 1998 being particularly memorable. Shamrock also succeeded in winning the Intercontinental Championship in 1998 and the WWF Tag Team Championships with Big Boss Man. His 1998 King of the Ring victory over The Rock further solidified his status as a top-tier performer. His involvement with The Corporation stable, alongside stars like The Rock and Big Boss Man, added another layer to his WWE legacy.

His departure from WWE in late 1999 to return to MMA and other wrestling promotions did not diminish his impact on the company. His unique blend of fighting styles and his undeniable charisma left a lasting impression on the WWE audience.

The 2024 WWE Hall of Fame class is shaping up to be notable, with Triple H set to headline the event. Other inductees include The Natural Disasters, Lex Luger, and Michelle McCool, adding to an already impressive lineup.

The potential addition of Shamrock to this class would further elevate the event. His contributions to WWE, particularly during the Attitude Era, were significant, and his induction would be a fitting recognition of his impact on the company. His unique background and in-ring style made him a standout performer, and his inclusion would be well-received by fans.

  • RVD Turned Off by Jon Moxley Spiked Bat Spot: ‘Not My Thing’

Jon Moxley\’s penchant for violent in-ring encounters reached a new apex on a recent episode of AEW Dynamite, sparking a wave of diverse reactions from viewers. The pivotal moment involved Adam Copeland suplexing Moxley onto a spiked bat, which became gruesomely lodged in his back.

This extreme display of violence polarized the audience, with some commending its originality and others deeming it excessively brutal.

Despite the shocking nature of the impalement, Moxley ultimately emerged victorious in the Street Fight against Copeland. This victory has set the stage for his upcoming title defense against Swerve Strickland at AEW Dynasty. However, the controversial spot has also garnered commentary from within the wrestling community.

WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam, during an episode of his podcast \”1 Of A Kind,\” offered his candid perspective on the incident. Van Dam expressed that the level of violence displayed was not to his liking, and went as far as to say that it made him question his association with AEW. This statement highlights the intensity of the moment and the varying degrees of acceptance within the wrestling world regarding such extreme displays.

“It’s not my thing, not my kind of thing,” Van Dam said. “That’s not wrestling to me. But obviously that is sacrificing a lot for the business, I mean that could be said about it. But the more AEW has been doing stuff like that, the more personally I feel like I would rather be associated with WWE than AEW.

“Like a couple years ago it was like, ‘Man they’re growing, they’re trying things to get up there.’ And then there’s a feel that like the inmates are running the prison. Which there always has been, for better or worse. I mean that was used as a good point at first. ‘Hey, the boys are running it, cool.’ But for me this serves as an example of why that might not be a good idea but it is a style of wrestling I personally look at it as being lower than the standard, substandard because it’s going to draw only a certain niche crowd that’s into that kind of stuff.”

“Congratulations to pulling off a crazy stunt, death defying stunt for better or worse, you know?” Van Dam said.

  • Drew McIntyre Continues To Tease Something Big Is Happening With The Rock

Drew McIntyre has hinted at significant developments involving himself and The Rock, suggesting a potential storyline or collaboration in the near future. This tease comes amidst McIntyre\’s frustration over being excluded from a title match at WrestleMania 41, despite his strong performances throughout 2024. While he won’t be competing for a world championship at this year’s event, the prospect of a storyline with The Rock offers an intriguing alternative.

The Rock’s longstanding admiration for McIntyre, dating back to 2019, appears to be a key factor in this potential alliance. The WWE legend\’s support—evidenced by his gift of a sword—indicates a close relationship between the two. This connection has fueled speculation about a significant on-screen interaction or storyline.

In an interview with The Daily Star, McIntyre confirmed that “big things” are on the horizon with The Rock. He emphasized the WWE legend’s consistent support and pointed to the symbolic gesture of the sword as proof of their strong bond, further heightening anticipation for their upcoming interactions.

While appearing on Untapped, McIntyre was asked whether he could share details about his plans with The Rock.

“Guys, certainly not gonna be good. It\’s gonna be big. I don\’t know when this comes out, but hopefully, we\’ll have more information soon.”

  • Mariah May Is Believed To Be In Contract Year With AEW

WWE has the potential to acquire one of AEW\’s top performers, Mariah May, should she choose to sign with them when her current contract expires. This scenario has arisen due to recent reports indicating May\’s contract situation within AEW.

Fightful Select has revealed that many within AEW, including staff, wrestlers, and management, believe Mariah May is in a contract year, with her current deal expected to conclude in the summer. The report highlights the unusual nature of such a short-term contract, given the significant push May has received. An insider expressed surprise if option years were not included, as AEW is reportedly keen to retain her regardless of the contract\’s specifics.

The awareness of May\’s contract status has circulated within AEW, particularly following her acclaimed match against Toni Storm at AEW Revolution, where she lost the AEW Women’s World Title. This increased scrutiny on her contract underscores her rising prominence within the company and the industry.

Prior to her AEW tenure, Mariah May\’s career saw significant growth, notably during her time in World Wonder Ring Stardom in Japan, where she joined the \”Club Venus\” faction. Her participation in events like the 5STAR Grand Prix 2023 demonstrated her burgeoning talent and international appeal, contributing to her growing reputation.

May\’s ascent continued with her signing to AEW in late 2023. She made an immediate impact, securing victories and winning the Owen Hart Foundation Women\’s Tournament, culminating in her AEW Women\’s World Championship win against Toni Storm at AEW All In London. This impressive trajectory has made her a highly sought-after talent, potentially attracting WWE\’s attention.

  • WWE Planning Big Intercontinental Title Match For WrestleMania 41

The build towards WWE WrestleMania 41 is heating up as the event approaches including the Intercontinental Title scene. A pivotal match set for tonight’s Monday Night Raw will see a high-stakes showdown between Penta and reigning champion Bron Breakker—an encounter many initially expected to take place at WrestleMania itself.

Fightful Select reports that a week ago, the belief is that WWE’s creative direction has been leaning toward a four-way Intercontinental Championship match at WrestleMania 41. The projected bout would see Bron Breakker defend his title against Penta, Finn Balor, and Dominik Mysterio.

The groundwork for this potential clash has been laid through recent developments: Breakker’s match against Baor, Penta’s direct challenge to the champion, and Mysterio’s ongoing attempts to recruit Penta into Judgment Day, alongside his apparent interest in the title during the Breakker-Balor contest.

WrestleMania 41 is set to take place over two nights, Saturday, April 19, and Sunday, April 20, 2025, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. However, WWE’s creative landscape remains highly fluid, with plans frequently evolving. While the reported four-way match remains a strong possibility, the final WrestleMania 41 card could still see adjustments as storylines develop.

  • Drew McIntyre Responds To Fan Criticism Of His Damian Priest WrestleMania 41 Feud

Drew McIntyre has directly addressed fan criticism regarding his developing rivalry with Damian Priest, a feud that some fans have questioned. The storyline, fueled by Priest\’s eliminations of McIntyre in key matches, has faced skepticism from a portion of the audience.

In a recent interview with The Daily Star, McIntyre acknowledged the negative feedback while expressing his commitment to shaping the narrative. He emphasized his dedication to building a compelling story with Priest, aiming to deliver a match that justifies the buildup and resonates with fans.

McIntyre believes the feud has the potential to develop into a significant WrestleMania moment if given the opportunity to unfold naturally. His response reflects both a willingness to engage with fan perspectives and a determination to prove the storyline’s value.

\”I appreciated when the fans’ reaction was, ‘Oh my goodness, it’s Priest and Drew, there’s nothing there.’ I’m like, bloody hell, give us a chance to tell the story. The thing with Priest has been going on since last year’s WrestleMania when he cashed in on me after Punk assaulted me.

\”He doesn’t know how to succeed unless it is at my expense. At Elimination Chamber, I Claymored Cena. Instead of going, ‘I’ll let Drew pin Cena first,’ he eliminates me. It’s the only way he knows how to succeed—because he is a vulture. A parasite. A big emo vulture.

\”Finally, he’s got my attention because they’ve got nothing else. I stomped him in his big, stupid head last week, and if he wants to keep coming back for more, if it goes all the way to Mania, it’s a year-in-the-making story—and he deserves the biggest stage of all to get his stupid-looking arse kicked.”

This agreement signals a renewed partnership between the wrestling veteran and his former employer, bringing him back into the WWE universe after a three-year stint with All Elite Wrestling (AEW). A notable aspect of this new deal is the collaboration with Mattel to produce a new Mark Henry action figure, catering to fans eager to add to their WWE memorabilia collections. Ringside Collectibles captured the moment of Henry\’s announcement, sharing the news with fans.

Henry\’s history with WWE spans a significant period, from 1996 to 2021, during which he established himself as a dominant force in the company. His accolades include reigns as WWE World Heavyweight Champion and WWE ECW Champion, cementing his status as a formidable competitor. Following his departure from WWE in 2021, Henry joined AEW, where he took on a multifaceted role as an analyst, coach, and occasional commentator. During his time with AEW, Henry played a crucial part in mentoring younger talent, sharing his extensive knowledge of match psychology and character development. His behind-the-scenes contributions were highly valued, and he maintained a positive relationship with the company.

However, in mid-2024, Henry and AEW mutually agreed to part ways. This decision stemmed from Henry\’s desire to focus on personal ventures, while still maintaining a respectful and amicable relationship with the company. His return to WWE signifies a new chapter in his career, allowing him to reconnect with his WWE fanbase and contribute to the company\’s legacy in a legends/nostalgia capacity.

  • Saraya Calls Toni Storm One Of The Best Characters Of All Time

Even during her time away from in-ring competition, Saraya remains a dedicated observer of AEW, particularly impressed by the compelling character work of AEW Women\’s Champion Toni Storm.

In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, Saraya specifically praised Storm\’s significant growth as a performer and the marked progression she has demonstrated in her in-ring abilities.

“She’s one of the best promos and characters, I think, of all time. And she’s one of my favorites all together right now. She is making wrestling fun and exciting and I love that. And it’s just funny seeing her from two years ago… when she was scared to pick up a microphone.

Once you have a character and something that you’re enjoying in wrestling, you wanna put a hundred percent of your mind, body, and soul into it. And she’s doing it. And she’s so humble about it and I love that for her. She’s just like, ‘I hope I’m doing a good job.’ I’m like, ‘Babe, you are smashing it! You are the best thing in wrestling right now.’”

Saraya has been absent from AEW television since October 2024, her last victory occurring against Nyla Rose on an August 2024 episode of AEW Rampage. Meanwhile, AEW Women\’s Champion Toni Storm is preparing for her next title defense against Megan Bayne at the upcoming AEW Dynasty event next month.

  • LA Knight Says Roman Reigns Feud Set Him Back

In an interview with SHAK Wrestling, LA Knight discussed the impact of his feud with Roman Reigns on his WWE career.

He admitted that the rivalry ultimately hindered his progress. Knight challenged Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at Crown Jewel 2023, where Reigns successfully retained the title.

While Knight also participated in a fatal four-way match for the championship at the 2024 Royal Rumble, by WrestleMania 40, he was relegated to the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal on SmackDown, preceding the main event. It was the second straight year he missed out on WrestleMania.

“I think it did a little bit of all that. It took me in a few different directions. I think it optically in a way elevated me and I think optically in a way it kind of set me back a little bit and I had to do a little bit of a rebuild back in the winter and the springtime of last year.

I think that’s just by virtue of the way that it was all set up and the way it was done, but ultimately Crown Jewel was a nice pay-off, so that was pretty good.”

Knight won the US Title for a second time from Shinsuke Nakamura earlier this month.

  • Saraya: I\’m Coming To The End Very Soon

Saraya has been absent from AEW television since October 2024, but when she does return to television, the AEW star plans to continue to give back to the industry.

Saraya has previously stated that her AEW contract will expire in September. Her most recent victory was against Nyla Rose on an August 2024 episode of AEW Rampage.

In an interview with Rick Ucchino of Sports Illustrated, Saraya addressed her current absence and future plans. The former AEW Women’s Champion admitted she doesn’t have much longer in the ring.

“I\’m letting people beat me, left, right and center. I was on a losing streak, but I just wanted people to get their rub,\” Saraya said. \”I want to uplift everybody. I\’m not gonna be in wrestling forever. I\’m coming to the end of it and it\’s very soon. And I don\’t wanna go out being like, I need to be on top,\” she said.

Saraya\’s book is scheduled for release on March 25th. The timeline for her return to television remains uncertain.

  • AEW International Title Match Set For Dynasty

The AEW Dynasty event will feature Kenny Omega defending his championship.

Following Kenny Omega\’s AEW Revolution victory over Konosuke Takeshita for the AEW International Championship, Tony Khan announced the AEW International Championship Eliminator Tournament.

The tournament\’s purpose was to establish Omega\’s challenger at the upcoming AEW Dynasty event. Advancing to the finals after winning their respective first-round matches were \”Speedball\” Mike Bailey, Ricochet, Orange Cassidy, and Mark Davis.

During the March 19th episode, Mike Bailey, Ricochet, Trent Davis, and Orange Cassidy competed in a high-stakes four-way match, with the victor earning a title shot against Kenny Omega at AEW Dynasty.

The match was a fast-paced, back-and-forth affair, culminating in a simultaneous pinfall by Bailey and Ricochet on Davis. The referee, acknowledging the double pin, declared that both Bailey and Ricochet would challenge Omega for the championship.

The commentary team subsequently announced that Kenny Omega would defend his championship against Mike Bailey and Ricochet at AEW Dynasty.

AEW\’s Dynasty event will return for its second year on April 6, 2025, at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This marks the promotion\’s inaugural pay-per-view event in the state of Pennsylvania.

  • Warner Bros Negotiating Big Sale Of John Cena’s ‘Coyote vs Acme’

John Cena’s “Coyote vs Acme,” a live-action/CG animation hybrid movie, was put on the shelf by Warner Bros. after spending $70 million on it. However, it may finally be getting a release.

Several major studios, including Netflix, Amazon, and Paramount, expressed interest in acquiring the shelved \”Coyote vs. Acme\” film, with Paramount offering a theatrical release. However, Warner Bros. set a firm, non-negotiable asking price of $75-80 million, threatening a $35-40 million tax write-off if no buyer met their demand.

This \”take it or leave it\” stance prevented any counteroffers from the interested studios. Deadline.com reports Gareth West’s distributor-financier Ketchup Entertainment is negotiating an all-rights acquisition in the $50M range for it.

Ketchup previously rescued the same studio’s The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie. While the agreement remains tentative, negotiations are progressing positively, and if finalized, \”Coyote vs. Acme\” is slated for a 2026 theatrical release.

The film features Cena as the CEO of Acme Corporation, the company whose products Wile E. Coyote famously uses in his perpetual, and hilariously unsuccessful, pursuit of the Road Runner. Despite its initial shelving, there\’s renewed hope that the film will find a distributor and reach audiences.
