AJ Styles says he would love to see Will Ospreay in WWE, calling him one of the best talents in the world while acknowledging the concern many have about his high-risk style.
Speaking on the Phenomenally Retro podcast, Styles made his feelings on Ospreay clear.
“Will’s the man, dude. I would love to have him in WWE — he’s an amazing talent. I think he’s figured out a lot about himself, and what he can do, and what looks good and makes sense — everything. Sometimes we worry about him hurting himself because he’s balls to the walls, but I get it, man. You’ve got one gear — you’ve got to go one gear until you retire, like myself.”
Ospreay is currently under contract with AEW, where he has been one of the promotion’s top performers. Styles retired from in-ring competition in January 2026.
Ospreay is scheduled to wrestle Samoa Joe at AEW Double or Nothing as part of the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.
