Brock Lesnar is heading back inside the demonic structure. A Hell in a Cell match between Lesnar and Oba Femi has been announced for WWE SummerSlam 2026.
Monday’s Raw opened with an address from Oba Femi, who won the 2026 King of the Ring tournament at Night of Champions over the weekend with a victory over Jey Uso. Femi was celebrating and preparing to address the major decision in front of him: which world title he will challenge for at SummerSlam. His options are World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns or Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn.
Before Femi could reveal his choice, however, he was interrupted by the returning Brock Lesnar. The two are no strangers, sitting at a 1-1 record after Femi defeated Lesnar at WrestleMania and Lesnar evened the score at Clash in Italy.
Lesnar confronted Femi and claimed that Paul Heyman had informed him Femi had been talking trash about him in recent weeks. “Talk s—- get hit,” Lesnar said, before leveling Femi with a low blow followed by an F5.
As Lesnar and Heyman made their exit, Femi grabbed a microphone and challenged Lesnar to a match at SummerSlam, which emanates from Minneapolis, an area long associated with Lesnar. Lesnar accepted, but added a major stipulation of his own: it will be a Hell in a Cell match.
The choice of stipulation is a notable one for Lesnar, who has a storied history inside the cell. He battled The Undertaker in Hell in a Cell matches in both 2002 and 2015, and he has never lost inside the structure.
Several factors have led to speculation that this could be Lesnar’s retirement match. The bout will take place in his home region, carries the Hell in a Cell stipulation, and would serve as the rubber match in his trilogy with Femi.
As for Femi’s title aspirations, it was noted afterward that he is “forgoing” his SummerSlam title shot. That means he won’t be pulling double duty over the weekend, as some had anticipated, and will instead cash in his championship opportunity at a later date.
