Tommy Dreamer And TNA Part Ways

Tommy Dreamer and TNA have parted ways. The ECW legend revealed on Busted Open Radio that he and the company have mutually agreed to end their working relationship.

Dreamer, a co-host on Busted Open, had been a central figure in TNA’s creative team and also appeared on television as an on-screen authority figure alongside TNA President Carlos Silva. Dreamer indicated that he and Silva spoke to cement the decision.

His creative leadership had drawn growing criticism over the past year, particularly as TNA’s profile rose following its January 2026 move to AMC and the higher expectations that came with the new platform. Critics tied the creative direction to a dip in ratings, although Dreamer was said to be well-liked among the roster and staff.

A respected veteran and the founder of House of Hardcore, Dreamer has filled a number of roles in TNA over the years, contributing to creative, producing, and stepping in front of the camera when called upon. He will continue in his role on Busted Open Radio.

As of this writing, TNA has not issued a formal announcement on the split, and it is not yet clear who will steer the company’s creative direction going forward.
