Tessa Blanchard

Tessa Blanchard has left TNA Wrestling after requesting and being granted her release, according to Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp. No reason for the departure has been provided.

Blanchard’s status with CMLL is said to be unchanged. She returned to TNA in December 2024 for her second run with the promotion.

Blanchard, 30, is a third-generation professional wrestler and the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Tully Blanchard, granddaughter of wrestling promoter Joe Blanchard, and stepdaughter of Magnum T.A. She made history in January 2020 by becoming the first woman to win the TNA World Championship, defeating Sami Callihan.

She is also a former TNA Knockouts Champion, making her a rare double champion in the promotion’s history. Outside of TNA, she has held the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship, the WOW World Championship, and the CMLL World Women’s Tag Team Championship.
