Konosuke Takeshita defeated Kazuchika Okada to win the AEW International Championship at Double Or Nothing on Sunday night at Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, New York.

Okada controlled the early going before Takeshita fired back with belly-to-belly suplexes. The match featured several signature exchanges, including Okada hitting the Rainmaker on the apron, a superplex from Takeshita, and Okada’s tombstone piledriver.

Takeshita hit a Rainmaker of his own at one point, only for Okada to respond with a dropkick. Takeshita no-sold it and hit a jumping knee for a near-fall before finishing Okada with the Raging Fire.

After the match, members of The Don Callis Family came to the ring to confront the new champion. Kyle Fletcher appeared to side with Takeshita initially before turning on him, laying him out and posing with the title.
