Stephanie Vaquer is expected back on WWE television in the very near term, with internal creative discussions around her return picking up over the last week, according to PWInsider Elite.
Internal conversations have pointed to the possibility of Vaquer appearing on this Monday’s episode of Raw, which takes place at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina. Nothing has been formally announced, and the expectation is that her return is a near-term creative target rather than a fixed date.
WrestleVotes Radio reported on Fightful Select last month that no return date was widely known inside the company, with internal rumblings pointing to a minimum six-week absence. There had been optimism she could return for SummerSlam, though no guarantee was attached to that timeline.
Vaquer was written off WWE TV on the April 27 episode of Raw when Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez, working alongside Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan, attacked her in a backstage segment.
Perez rammed an equipment box into Vaquer’s shoulder, and Michael Cole announced on commentary that she had suffered a second-degree AC sprain. Bryan Alvarez of F4W confirmed the injury was legitimate. Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the planned Vaquer vs. Morgan match for Backlash on May 9 in Tampa was pulled as a result.
